It’s the perfect spot for a fun and lively atmosphere. The bakery’s selection of Dominican tres leche cake is truly a treat for the taste buds. I tried their *banana loaf* and *tres leches cake*, and they were absolutely delicious. Fresh, flavorful, and made with love. You can really taste the authenticity in each bite. The staff is also incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. Whether you’re grabbing a quick snack or lingering over coffee, Sweet and Things has quickly become one of my favorite spots in Brooklyn. Highly recommend checking it out!

The owner is absolutely amazing. She’s very genuine and kind. She’s put in a lot of work to get to where she’s at and started with baking at home. The design of the store makes you just wanna sit there for hours. Most importantly the tres leches is top tier and they have multiple flavors.

My sis in law curated a little tasting for us. We tried the Guava/Pina Colada and Original flavors. Presentation and quality were great. I enjoyed all three but my favorite was the original. The recipes here aren’t as sweet as a traditional tres leches so keep that in mind if you plan on making a visit. I prefer a really rich and sweet tees leches myself so that would be the only thing that would have made it better for me.

This beautiful new coffee shop/bakery is such a gift to our neighborhood -- and created by one of Cypress Hills' own! Classy, beautifully designed, and made with love. The owner and staff are incredibly kind and friendly. The ube tres leches blew me away and the latte was delicious, too. I also enjoyed a scone I had on a second visit. I can't wait to become a regular here!

I found this spot on Instagram, and let me just say… BELIEVE THE HYPE!! I tried the biscoff flavor tres leche cake and it was the best tres leche I have ever had. It was so good I didn’t even get a photo of it 🥲. I know for a fact I have to go back to try the 4 leches and the guava flavor. Real cute spot for dates and fun pictures. The place is bright and the staff is very welcoming. My friend tried out the blueberry muffin. It was the fanciest muffin I’ve ever had or seen. They’ve got a cute coffee & pastry menu. 12/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ highly recommend.

Beautiful Atmosphere! Loved the Cake packaging. The owner was lovely. The flavors we wanted were sold out. So we tried white chocolate mint. It lacked white chocolate flavor and sweetness but it is good quality nonetheless. I will be back to try the cookies and cream flavor and the four leches. !

I went today for a second time. I loved the rose strawberry tres leches cake. I see many reviews complaining about the cakes lacking in sweetness and richness. However, to me it was perfect! I told myself I was going to eat half today and half tomorrow, but I couldn't resist and ate it all!

I had high expectations for Sweets & Things, but unfortunately, they fell short of my expectations. The establishment’s ambiance was aesthetically pleasing and inviting, making it a suitable location for a coffee or tea break. However, my experience with the tres leches pastries was highly disappointing. The strawberry rose flavor was particularly concerning, as the strawberries within the cake appeared stale and moldy. It is unclear how frequently the cakes are replaced, but this particular one was far from fresh. I also sampled the Nutella, four leches, and Oreo flavors. While the Oreo was the only one that I found acceptable, the overall quality of the pastries was subpar. Furthermore, the pricing was excessive, with the container shown in my photos costing $12.00.

From the pastel walls to the colorful furniture to the holiday/seasonal decor. The ambiance and aesthetic of Sweets & Things was unmatched. I tried the classic cuatro leches, guava, and biscoff. Each one was creamy, sweet, and succulent. If you have a sweet tooth this is the SPOT. Many clients were coming in and asking for guava, which was selling fast! Also, flavors tend to be seasonal so make sure to stop by if you see a flavor you like and availability. Staff are really nice and helpful. Make sure to say Hi to Yesenia. The bakery also offers a variety of other sweet treats and if you're looking for a unique gift, they offer custom cakes and coquito (fun flavors). During my next visit I hope to try the Ube Flavor. Overall, I highly recommend Sweets and Things to anyone with a sweet tooth. The combination of delicious treats, beautiful decor, and friendly staff makes it a must-visit destination!

Best coffee I've had in NYC! If you're looking for authentic and unique tres leches this is the place to go. Highly recommended in the Brooklyn area

Atmosphere is nice. I can see people coming here in groups for a small getaway from the neighborhood. But my issue is the price of the 4 leches and it's taste. 12 dollars for one is pretty steep. And to be honest , I wasn't blown away by it and have had better. Maybe the packaging is the issue. It's inside of a to go cup so everything is mushed together. You don't get to appreciate the presentation of this desert. The coffee is good. Fresh tasting and decently priced. Everything else seems to be decently priced except for the 4 leches. But def give it a try. Support small and local businesses.
