Swig is apparently really popular in Utah because they have a large offering of caffeine free drinks. Here, it really doesn't make a lot of sense to pay $4 for a soda with some coconut flavoring in it. They have very limited offerings beyond soda and energy drinks. Cookies and pretzel bites are about it.
I tried the "popular" dirty Dr Pepper. It's a Dr Pepper with coconut syrup added. And it tastes...just like that. It's alright, I guess, but I don't see anything special about it and I wouldn't order it again, despite liking both Dr Pepper and coconut. Sonic does the same thing so I'm very confused at how this place will survive here. Plus when you order through the app at Sonic, the drinks are half off...so you can get the exact same thing for a lower price. I'm not sure which of the two had more flavor options, it's probably a toss up there.
The cookie came directly out of a fridge, so it was cold. Not a great cookie either.
Whoever designed the drive thru window is an idiot...when you're at the window, you need to make an immediate hard right to leave and depending on your car, you may still hit the curb. It's also mildly amusing that to get to the drive thru, you've got to weave through the parking lot of a fitness center.
Service was quick, I went at noon on a Monday and there weee only 4 cars in the drive thru. Must have been giving away free drinks to generate the crazy lines just last week.
I'm not sure I'd return. Let me make this clear....I'm a huge soda fan...and I get sodas often. Too often. But these? This is a once in awhile treat for a child, if they need to have a raspberry cream sprite for some reason. Or I suppose, daily addiction if you're of a particular culture that won't allow caffeine.... Swig is an overhyped sonic, with no food.
Food/drink: 2/5
Service: 1/5
Price: 2/5
"Ambiance": 1/5 - It's drive thru only but the location of the window and curbs are the worst thing I've ever seen.
