I had high hopes for this place, but it was a disappointing experience. We paid an exuberant amount for just one appetizer, a masamman curry, pad Thai, and a cocktail. On top of that, they charged us an absurd 540 baht for sparkling water—completely unreasonable. Not worth the price The food itself was average, no better than what you'd find at countless other restaurants. To make matters worse, they brought everything out at once, including the appetizer, and rushed us to finish because they wanted to close. We ended up eating cold food, which ruined the meal. The service wasn’t great either. When I politely asked to change my drink, the server was noticeably passive-aggressive. I apologized several times but she just threw shade at me. Overall, it wasn’t worth the price or the hassle. I won’t be coming back

The service was exceptional—warm, personalized, and genuinely hospitable. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, adding a personal touch to the evening. Their attentiveness made our celebration even more special. As for the food, every dish was outstanding. The ingredients were fresh, and the flavors were well-balanced, truly showcasing authentic and high-quality Thai cuisine. We enjoyed every bite and could tell that each dish was crafted with care. Overall, Ta Khai is a must-visit for anyone looking for a relaxing yet refined dining experience. Whether for a special occasion or just a great meal by the sea, this restaurant delivers in every way. We’ll definitely be back!

I ordered beef salad and fish grilled/fried Good experience location and design. Excellent customer service and romantic place for dating. In a great location with sea view. Overall experience is 4/5 I'd recommend if they can revisit the prices. Thank you for your warm welcoming and great customer service

Top notch! The story behind this restaurant is amazing. All locally grown and supported. Food is amazing and the location is stunning. Grilled Sea Bass and soft shell crabs were the best I have had.

This was the best meal we had in our week long trip to Phuket. The ambience is otherworldly, romantic, traditional and exotic all at once. It’s perfect for any type of group, the tables are very far apart and there is no bad place to be seated. The food was amazing too, Thai and seafood is the focus - we went for ala carte options which were super tasty and reasonably priced for a high end restaurant. The crab especially was the best we’ve had! It’s top of the list for my Phuket food recommendations!

The food quality is outstanding,the reasonable prices make it even more appealing, the service exceptional, and the restaurant itself is beautifully designed, providing a perfect backdrop for a memorable dining experience. A special shoutout to Jacky, Milk, Zindy, and the amazing auntie and uncle for their warm hospitality and impeccable service. Truly, a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Thai food with a touch of elegance.

The best dinner I had in pukhet. They deserve the Michelin ⭐ . Food was simply amazing, great service and great atmosphere. Food was served fast and the quality is simply top.

On arrival by chance we were given the history and showed around the local produce area by the entrance. Attention to detail was very much the order of the day as well as the unbelievable food. I would very much recommend “Yum Nuea Yang” (beef spicy salad) 10/10
