This was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. The food is good but just small bites. This leaves you energy and attention for the show which is so ridiculously fun you won't want any distraction. You order drinks separately and their cost is billed separately. That bill will come with tip already added on. They have cocktails, wine, and sangria. Be ready to clap and fall in love with the flamenco troop. They are too wonderful for words. Don't hesitate to reserve a spot up front and be mesmerized.

We had a great time here! The show was very entertaining. We went for dinner and the food was amazing! We liked every plate. My favorite was the shrimp, it had a very unique and delicious taste. The dessert was very good too, sweet but not overpowering. We would definitely go back.

A very pleasant weekday experience! Nice music and fabulous dance, a very solid and amazing performance. The food is good enough (not the point of this show, right?) and the service is really attentive. We enjoyed our Friday night experience here, and will come back again (they change the program, musics, dancers every week!)

I experienced Tablao Flamenco for the first time a month ago and have already gone back. The experience is magical. I love the intimate atmosphere. The service was excellent both times. The food was delicious and the drinks were reasonably priced and really good. But the performance… it was a spiritual experience for me. I was completely breathless watching the bailaoras and the talented guitarristas (only one of the bailaoras was a repeat for both shows but she was different and equally spectacular both times). But can we talk for a moment about the amazing Eva Encinias? I have only seen her these two times but this woman should be deemed a national treasure. She is an incredible artist and her soul radiates throughout the space. I am a fan. Thank you and I will see you again.

It was as if we were whisked to Spain! The restaurant offers cozy atmosphere, Tapas and the Sangria drinks in addition to the amazing performances that were wonderful. All the seats had a good view, though I admit I would have liked a closer table just so I could see the footwork. The dancers, the guitar player and the singer were so talented. The restaurant opens at 6:45 and the performance didn’t start until 8 pm so you have plenty of time to order and visit with your party before showtime. We ordered a meat and cheese tray with a small bread loaf, a trio of hummus and nuts and a pitcher of Rose Sangria for our party of four. At 8, the lights go down and the show begins. They have a great wine collection and a full service bar for anyone who wants something more. I can’t wait to return!

This show was AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING. You could literally feel the energy come off of the stage!! Easily one of the top 10 shows I have ever been to in my life

Intimate setting. The food was very good. The dancers worked very hard and put on an excellent show. I can't miss the guitarist and singer either. Both were very talented.

Beautiful experience, the food was the best!! The dancing, singing, and guitarist were mesmerizing. I highly recommend this dinner and show experience. Taking photos is not allowed.

Yelp
Isobel put it beautifully in her review!! Thank you! This place, I swear, just like most of Albuquerque is going to craptown! I just now wanted to make reservations for Saturday, March 1st 2025. Well their website says Saturday is March 2nd?!? I called to inform them about an error and the snotty woman made it sound like I'm the one who's wrong, by being on the wrong website?! Then she says there's more than one Tablao Flamenco in Albuquerque... total f'n B.S.!!!!! Get your head outta your ass & be better especially for the dumbass prices & terrible food & horrible service. I've been going there since it opened & it's been going downhill every time I go. Have some pride & integrity for fk sake you morons! I'm telling as many people I can to boycott this place until they straighten up! Good luck in your future....lazy jerks!!!

Yelp
What a wonderful local splurge. Amazing talent (dancers, singers, guitarist, chef). Great service. Had no idea how ABQ can have such professional talent.

Yelp
What a great experience! I highly recommend it. The singer, guitarist, and dancers were truly amazing on this modest little stage. We also had excellent and prompt service. We came here for their Sunday matinee and we were impressed with the atmosphere, their cocktails and cheese platter. If you're looking for a place to impress your date, look no further.

Yelp
Interesting performance and good but unexceptional food. If you already understand Flamenco dance and speak Spanish, you're good. If not, you're on your own. Don't expect any explanation. Don't expect prompt drink service. And don't expect to get any silverware for dessert after they cleared everything with your entrees. Do expect a reprimand for your failure to retain utensils. Fortunately, our neighboring table witnessed the rude server behavior, expressed sympathy, and had unused spoons. Based on the response from locals, the performance was impressive. But we had no idea how to interpret it. We looked forward to this experience but left early very disappointed and irritated.

Yelp
We came here in 2019 for a flamenco show and were excited to come back. Unfortunately, things have gone completely downhill since then whether due to COVID, management, or something else entirely. For starters, we paid $175 total for the Prix Fixe experience at a VIP table. I'm sad to say this was a complete waste of money. Only the table was accurate, since it was very close to the stage and provided a good view. The food, sadly, was nowhere near worth the money we paid. The appetizer, a chorizo tapas thing, was literally ONE BALL of fried dough. Our salads, which were underdressed and wilted, only came out when we mentioned it to the server. All the other tables had received their salads despite ours being one of the most visible tables in the whole place. Then, the entree, a basque chicken thing, arrived in its tiny (and cold) dish. We were under the impression that we would be eating our meal ALONG WITH the performance, since that is what we did in 2019 and that's what a tablao experience should be. Nope, not even close. Instead, we had to arrive at 6:30 p.m., sit at our table until 7 when dinner service started, and then finish the meal before 8 when the show began. That's an hour and a half of sitting around and waiting, and you can't even order anything else off the menu since it's Prix Fixe. On top of that, service is unpredictable and spotty so we only were able to order one round of drinks. Good thing we ordered a pitcher of sangria since that's the only thing we got the whole night long. Our attempt to order another pitcher was for nothing since it never came. The response? "Oh, sorry about that." The proper response would have been to comp our first round. Especially given the missing salad. While all this was happening, we were informed that the guitarist for the flamenco group was running behind due to car problems. We assumed they would play for longer to make up for the time. But no--despite being 20 minutes late, they only played an extra 5 minutes. How does this make any sense? The dancers, the singer, and the guitarist were all great, by the way. But it was the shortest concert I have ever been to, especially given the two hours spent in a cramped room with poor ventilation waiting for the show to start. I understand that the performers had to wear masks, so that's a factor in the shorter performance. But this wasn't explained at all beforehand. On our tickets it said the show would be an hour and 15 minutes long. Instead, there was an intermission that was never mentioned, so really the show was only about 45 minutes long. Probably the biggest issue I had with the show tonight, however, was the poor safety practices followed regarding COVID. I understand not everywhere is requiring proof of vaccination or a negative test result (although there's no reason not to) but I was told the garage door would be opened to allow for air flow. We were also told that "masks would be encouraged." Well, neither thing happened...my partner had to get up and go ask the hostess to open the garage door and only then did she open it by only a crack. It was a warm night and there was literally no reason not to open it further. Then, staff made zero effort to ask customers to put on masks when walking around the room. That's the least they should have done. One of the waiters had his mask below his nose the entire evening. Super disappointing. In short, nothing about this evening resembled what we experienced two years ago. I wouldn't waste my time or money here. They need to do better.

Yelp
A good show. I was actually surprised that I enjoyed it as much as I did. The show is high energy and the dancing is intense. The guitarist is very, very good and could probably do a stand alone show on flamenco guitar. The women were very talented but the male dancer was off the charts. His expressions and fast footwork were amazing to watch. To me, he provided the best performance. I didn't know much about Flamenco so you might to read a bit about it before you go. It enhances the show. Food was excellent with the meat and cheese platter was divine. The albondigas were a bit spicy but packed a mouthful of flavor. We had the flan for dessert which less firm than other I've had. It was excellent though. I would recommend this fun evening out.

Yelp
I've had an amazing time not only with watching and hearing the performances but also with the amazing and delicious tapas and wine pairings.

Yelp
Well, we really wanted to attend this and thought it sounded so fun online and in the "flyers". Advertised at 75-85 dollars, with dinner. Go to get tickets and guess what? A $15.00 "processing fee" for each ticket....there were three of us. So I tried to call.....no answer at all. So I went down to Hotel Albuquerque to see if I could get the tickets there and was treated rudely, and still wasn't able to get tickets. So I e-mailed and asked if I could buy tickets direct without the "processing fee" and was told no, that the fee would be included even if we bought the tickets at the door. SO IN REALITY THE TICKETS ARE 100.00 AND THE 75-85 IS FALSE ADVERTISING. No need to deal with it after that much effort. They might try for a little more customer service....and a little more honesty.

Yelp
Saw the show on Jun 8, 2018... Fantastic! The dancers were energetic and incredible. We really knew next to nothing about what to appreciate about Flamenco, and we were mesmerized with the stomping and emotion. The live music with the singer and guitar were first rate. The show is staged with all the entertainers on a pie-wedge shaped stage, and it enhanced the performance to see them encourage, celebrate, and admire each other. There are lots of beverage choices. For food we tried the $20 chef's choice plate, which came with a really nice variety of meat, cheese, bread, fig jam,and nuts... and they even subbed other nuts instead of olives for us. Service was pretty slow. Out food finally came right before the show started. Get there early if you want to eat and socialize before the show. Once it starts I don't think you can even order. If you need a refill, there is an intermission. The venue is at a large hotel with huuuuuuuuge bathrooms capable of handling ballrooms and conventions. It's a nice place, and the show was a good value for a $20 ticket. A perfect and unique night out. So glad we went.

Yelp
I can't wait to tell people about this treasure. The show, the food, the venue. I recent had the opportunity to watch a flamenco show in Barcelona, Spain. The venue had the same feeling as Spain, as it was intimate, but comfortable. The decor with the black and white tile, to the open bar/kitchen was all very much authentic. I would highly recommend this show flamenco show. Now let's talk about the Tapas, oh those Tapas. I had to taste it all. The carne, queso, and olives. We also order these side dishes Bocadillo Jamón, Patatas Bravas, Tortilla Española. My favorite was Bocadillo Jason. Grab a date and enjoyed a romantic, entertaining, adventure, she love this surprise. Grab girlfriends and enjoy a show, drinks and Tapas. Either way you will walk away with a night to remember. Did I mention 60% of proceeds go to support National Institute of Flamenco? "Through a unique partnership based on cultural preservation, Heritage Hotels and Resorts and the National Institute of Flamenco have joined efforts to create Tablao Flamenco Alburquerque."

Yelp
WOW!! We've been here twice now with out-of-town guests and have been blown away every time. The setting is beautiful. Although it is extremely romantic, I wouldn't limit it to that word. It's the type of place you could also go with friends, especially if you get the booths in the VIP area, or the long table near the bar. The food is high quality and the prices are quite reasonable. And the Flamenco is incredible! We usually just see it performed at the Hispanic Cultural Center where we get the cheap seats. It was amazing to see it soooo close. You can see the fingers of the guitarist, the shoes of the dancers, the stage shaking, and every drop of sweat. The dancers are phenomenal - so passionate and their talent is jaw-dropping. We have been completely blown away by the performances. This is a must-do if you are visiting Albuquerque. And, if you live here, it's also a must-do! We plan on going at least a few times per year.

Yelp
Came to the show on Sunday 03/04/18. We were traveling through the area on a road trip. I ordered tickets online through their website link holdmyticket.com. The online ticket purchase was a breeze. A couple weeks ago, I had to change my vacation dates and I was assisted by a gal named Amanda who was super nice and assisted me with cancelling the tickets. A couple days later I booked the March 4th tickets. We arrived to the Old Town Hotel in Albuquerque an hour before show time. We were pressed for time all day so we did not have a chance to get all dressed up. However, the hotel has a large restroom in the front lobby and we were able to freshen up. The show itself is intoxicating and mesmerizing! I would definitely come back to see it again. The Sunday performance consisted of students who were extremely talented!!! I was so excited and pleased with the show. On arrival, our waitress gave us the menu. Mainly, tapas and drinks. We ordered a couple of the sangrias on the menu and the chefs choice platter. Photos and videos are not allowed during the show. So, unfortunately I don't have many photos to share. The show is definitely worth it! A must if your in the Albuquerque area!

Yelp
a definite must for a romantic date night or celebration. this place is a hidden gem in old town albuquerque.

Yelp
OK, I'll admit that I probably would never have discovered this treasure were it not for the recent Yelp event that was held here. But that's what I love about Yelp, its an ever expanding opportunity to learn about new places and have new experiences. Tablao Flamenco is a gorgeous venue staffed by people who care very much about getting every detail right, so that, as another reviewer said, you feel as if you've been transported to Spain for the evening. The food is delicious, don't miss the Sangria for sure. It was so refreshing on this warm summer night. But beyond the food and the atmosphere, the show is fantastic. The costumes, the music, the dancers, the singers! All in this very intimate venue where you can really connect with the performers. (and side note, as a former lighting technician I know good stage lighting when I see it. These guys have a really, really nice little rig for such a small stage- I was impressed) I would definitely recommend this as a great place for a date night or to bring out of town guests when you want to show off Albuquerque's unique style and charm.
google avatar

Maggie B.

Yelp
The show was fantastic!! The guitarist, Eloy, was super talented, as well as the cantaor. The dancers had me feeling all the feels with their passion and footwork. !Olé! The reason for the 4 stars was the food and service. First, we really loved a cocktail that they used to have called La Eva and asked if they could make it and were disappointed when they said they would only make the cocktails on the menu. Had another that was similar and pretty good but not quite the same. I was not a fan of the prefixe. You used to be able to order a bunch of tapas off the menu which gave more of the "Spanish experience". I enjoyed the appetizer and dessert, but the salad and entree were lacking. Hope they go back to the old way! Our waitress was sweet and friendly, but the lady the that was expediting the food was practically throwing it on the table and just walking away. It would be nice if she told you what she serving and maybe smiled? I'll definitely be back for the show, tho!
google avatar

Tina T.

Yelp
We had such a wonderful time during the show! It was amazing to see these young dancers perform with such detail, Love and enthusiasm. We would like to do another show to see more dancers that were our servers that night.

Yelp
When my two flamenco-lovers friends got me a ticket, I was curious but expecting nothing impressive. Well, I was wrong and I immediately realized why my friends, who had enjoyed flamenco both in Spain and across the US, were enthusiastic about Tablao. It has quickly turned into an activity I often suggest to visitors from out of State and an excuse to munch on some tasty Spanish tapas.

Yelp
I have lived in Albuquerque for nearly 10 years and I have to say that I have never been so proud to live here as I was tonight when I visited the Tablao Flamenco. I brought a couple friends from North Carolina in order to give them a unique experience. Wow! What an amazing performance. The singing, dance, and most of all the guitar were simply fantastic. How cool is it that we have this in our own back yard?! Quite by accident I made several good choices that enhanced the experience so let me share some advice: 1. Definitely make a reservation. We saw people try to get a table right before the show and it was not going to happen. 2. Get good seats. We sat in the premium seats and they were well worth the extra price. You can really see the expression on the dancers faces. 3. Consider eating dinner first. The food was very good but difficult to manage on the small table. The menu is all tapas (appetizers) so if you are planning to eat dinner you may be disappointed. You also will want to keep your eyes on the dancers and not on your food. I would suggest eating dinner, arriving 30-45 minutes before the showtime and order drinks and a couple tapas. The duck meatballs were amazing.and the flan is the best I have ever had! 4. Arrive early if you can. Parking around the hotel can be difficult to find, especially on the weekend, so figure that into your timeline. You may have to park some distance from the Tablao. 5. Educate yourself a bit. If you are not familiar with Flamenco (like me) you may want to read up on it first before going to the Tablao. There are not really any explanations about the dance and the singing is in Spanish so if you do not know Spanish you might be a bit confused about what is happening. That being said, I had no prior education and I thought it was fantastic (I do speak a little Spanish). I just think a little education would have enhanced the experience. Perhaps the Tablao could make a pamphlet available or have a little table tent at our seat to give a brief explanation. Tablao Flamenco is an intimate venue and a little pre-planning will really help your night to be enjoyable. The food and drinks were very good but honestly the guitar, singing and dance are the true feast.
google avatar

Lisa Y.

Yelp
Performance is spectacular. We were lucky to have flamenco dancers visiting from Spain. The singer is also great. Food and drink is good, but the tapas menu is limited. Well worth seeing!! Make sure to book early if visiting on the weekend. Best seats sell out fast in the small Tablao.
google avatar

Zoe O.

Yelp
Amazing!!! You have to go see a show. If you are visiting Albuquerque or a local you will not be disappointed. A wonderful small venue, lovely bar, delicious tapas. The Flamenco dancers, guitar player and cantero poured their heart out on stage.
google avatar

Alisa Z.

Yelp
So maybe it was an "off night" but this was a bit of a disaster, even though I really wanted to like the place (love Spanish food and flamenco). We showed up without a reservation, which hasn't been a problem for my friend in the past, but we were told that there was a visiting dancer. We were charged $10 cover for standing room only, we were told we can order drinks at the bar, but not food. The hostess told us that a soon as it's 8 and there are tables available, we would be seated and charged extra; we were 3rd on the waitlist. We proceeded to that bar to order sangrias. These were horrendous! Pure sugar, we waited for as long as we could for the ice to melt to dilute this mess and then switched to wine. At this time the show was about to start. We were kind of hovering around the empty long communal table and tentatively took seats, waiting for the hostess to possibly grab us and put us at a better table. Well that didn't happen, people just grabbed seats wherever they wanted., regardless of their position on the waitlist. We were then presented with the bill for the upgrade (credit card transaction #2). We looked over the menu- cheese selections, charcuterie, 3 small snacks (olives etc) and 3 tapas. With a menu that small, you'd expect things to be in stock. Yet somehow right at the beginning of a Saturday show- no duck meatballs... We got the 2 meat/2 cheese plate; we picked jamon serrano which was obviously pre-sliced- no hams in site at the station where they were cutting cheese and sausage, which was disappointing. The show was good, we enjoyed that So then it was time to pay: after already having to deal with separate bills for entry and "upgrade" the bar tab came separate from the food tab (yep, 4 different bills per person). Obviously, the credit card machine decided to go out, followed by the lights in the entire hotel. They took down my credit card info to be charged when the system was up again. Overall, I had a lot of expectations and the whole night was kind of a disaster with the exception of the show. Such disgustingly sweet sangria is especially an embarrassment for a "Spanish" place.

Mali S.

Yelp
Went to this place with 2 of my girlfriends as a last minute thing before our flight home. Since we had a long day in White sands and unsure if we will stay for the entire event, we decided to stick with a general admission. Also, coming from San Francisco where there is no dearth for high quality sows, we were a bit skeptical. So glad we made to this and highly recommend. The show was great with 3 Flamenco dancers taking turns dancing. However the highlight for us was the service, food and drinks. Even though we were general admission standing, the waitresses were really friendly and respectful. Highly recommend the sangria and cheese plate. I saved the best for the last. Since we were standing so close to the kitchen, Chef Angelou was constantly checking on us and making sure we were doing ok. He also walked up to us at the end and asked how the show was and gave recommendations for things to do in Albuquerque. A big shout out to Angelou !!!!

Chris W.

Yelp
My husband and I went to Tablao for our wedding anniversary and everything was beyond amazing. The service provided by Yadira was 100%, the Sangria was a perfect balance of the flavors of Spain, and the Tapas were a vibrant way to experience the passion and exhilaration of the Flamenco performers. This is definitely a must-do for anyone looking to have an amazing time in a wonderful environment. We will definitely be going back.

Yelp
I don't miss dating, but if I had to go through that whole hot mess of spending a ton of money and time courting the opposite sex again, Tablao Flamenco would host the second date. Maybe the third. Whichever had the possibility of delivering, um... results, know what I'm sayin'? If you don't crush on somebody in this sultry dance den, your romance, it's not fated, sorry. This new addition to Hotel Albuquerque is easily my favorite nightlife find of 2016. The contours look and feel very similar to the cousin up the street, Casa Escencia -- smart and a tad posh -- but somehow sans the pretension. I state this truth often: Albuquerque doesn't have a cocktail scene. But add Tablao Flamenco to a limited list of spots that honestly craft imaginative, unique drinks that seek subtlety over style. I kind of fell head-over-heels for the Granaina and red sangria. Meats, cheeses and breads were exceptional, particularly the chorizo, and vegetable/fruit combinations were creative. It's all good, but c'mon, the real reason you want to visit this place? The garage band. That's the way I interpreted Tablao, anyway. In Spain these performances take place in small pubs and shacks, the expression is often gritty and street stomp, rather than the swooping, grandiose style we New Mexicans are used to. This venue offers a modest stage for a handful of outright experts to thunder and play, you can tell they're truly enjoying the opportunity to wow us, I found several elements somewhat sensual (Eva Encinias Sandoval, you go, girl). It's a garage band, a good one, getting a shot to play a rather swank club. And no, it isn't kid-friendly. Come on your third date, and anticipate a very late night.

Nicole O.

Yelp
Our second date night here at Tablao Flamenco. We enjoyed it so much the first time we had to come back. Such a beautiful show, very real and from the heart with both the dancers, singer and musician. We enjoyed a Tempranillo, cheese and meats while we enjoyed the show. Perfect for a date night and to experience real Flamenco.
google avatar

Antonio G.

Yelp
You must come to at least one show in your life. Start with some tapas and wine to teleport you to a bar in Seville. Cheer as the "bailaores" and "cantaor" come on stage, accompanied by a Spanish guitar. Allow the passion in their faces, voices, and bodies dazzle you throughout the performance. I highly recommend this Albuquerque institution. Flamenco has become a dance form synonymous with our city and state. I can't wait to go back.
google avatar

Ashley M.

Yelp
I respect the fact this restaurant is trying to create a true Spanish experience. The wine list, the cocktails and the tapas were what you can find in a typical Spanish eatery. We ordered cocktails first and waited 20 minutes for our first drinks. Then our table ordered patatas, a tortilla espanola, olives, duck meatballs, a meat board and a cheese board. My family next to us ordered similar items and they were delivered their food right away. We waited for an additional 20 minutes only having our olives (which were not that great and very unlike real Spanish olives). Finally, when our food arrived the hot items were just okay. I will say the cheese and meat boards were impressive!

Yelp
Wonderful flamenco in the heart of Albuquerque. Comfortable seating with delicious sangria to set the mood. Tapas were light and paired well with the alcohol selection. Definitely a great place to spend a romantic night with a special person in your life.

Yelp
Exquisite. Sexy. Rich. Passionate. From the food to the Flamenco, this is a can't-miss experience. The "hidden" Albuquerque is here, snapping its fingers right in front of you---you'd do well to pay attention. Tablao is another blossom on the vine of Albuquerque's cultural renaissance, and a must-do for both the seasoned traveler and locals alike. Equal parts theater, gastronomy, ballet and baile, culture and catharsis, Tablao is like no other experience. Enjoy an intimate performance in a sumptuous setting, with Chef Gil Aragon's tasty tapas to tempt your palate, and get ready for something truly special.
google avatar

Juan F.

Yelp
Wish I knew about this sooner. Great food options and atmosphere. The dancers are very passionate and the sangria is to die for. Totally worth the money. Check it out!
google avatar

Erin S.

Yelp
What an experience! You seriously feel like you've been transported to España when you step into this space. They really thought out every little detail to make this Tablao authentic, from the tapas and sangria down to the tiling on the floor. It's a must-see for visitors and locals, so it totally makes sense that it's located in the cultural heart of the city (Old Town). Olé!

Yelp
Enjoyed a fun night out with friends here last Saturday! Warm, sexy atmosphere in which to enjoy some well-crafted cocktails. It seems the rest of Albuquerque has no idea what a great place this is, as we had the whole place to ourselves. Do yourself a favor and get here with those pals who like to have fun and hit the dance floor.

Stephanie G.

Yelp
Maybe they were just having an off-night. I was just expecting a little bit more, especially since they have such great reviews! The environment is lovely, intimate, comfortable. The staff was courteous and responsive. All good so far. We got the duck albondigas, which were sadly dry. The sangria was nice. What was most surprising was how short the performance was. There are 3 dancers. They dance one time and when they each have had their solo, it is over. The dancing, with intermission, lasts an hour. I was thinking there would be a little more.
google avatar

Kay R.

Yelp
I had such a lovely time enjoying the atmosphere and the fantastic dancing at this intimate venue last night. The whole experience was a delight from start to finish. We were seated in the VIP area that gave us a wonderful view of the stage. The show began promptly and the musicians and dancers were quite proficient and artistic. I traveled to Spain a few years ago and saw flamenco dancing in Seville. This was comparable. Parking was a breeze in the lot off 20th street behind the hotel. I love that Albuquerque has such wonderful flamenco dancers. We got to met the woman who started the program at UNM.

Yelp
The performance at the Tablao Flamenco is fantastic. If you haven't gone you should! The service and administration at the bar is another matter however. The waitress got our order wrong twice, Didn't bother to bring the desert we ordered, They cancelled our saturday night tickets a day before the show because they said there was a private event that night? Instead we went the next night. The tapas menu didn't offer much. Don't plan on this being dinner. The combination plate was very salty cheeses, salty ham, and salty peanuts and olives.

Yelp
What a wonderful experience we had here! My parents were in town and it was supposed to rain over the weekend so I wanted to find something fun and different to take them to, not to mention a way to also stay dry! We arrived about an hour before the show started to get tapas and cocktails and we were not at all disappointed. We got seats in the VIP area which I actually think was much nicer than any of the other seats there. The hostess and our waitress were both so attentive, kind, and friendly that it made the entire experience all the more amazing. The food was SPOT on and the dancers were incredible. My parents are very well traveled and they mentioned several times how this experience was a million times better than the flamenco dinner and show they attended in Barcelona. I'll definitely be back here again and think it's a perfect event to take visitors to.

Yelp
Just had an outstanding evening at Tablao Falmenco...the only reason we don't give it a 4 is because the service was 'friendly' but spotty. We loved the show (5*)....the dancers were excellent, the guitarist absolutely first rate and this time we were treated to a female singer who was nice to listen to (not a fan of the raspy traditional male flamenco singers). We've enjoyed the traditional meat and cheese 'share' platters and they are consistently good. This time we all absolutely raved about the Moroccan Marinated Lamb with cucumber salad! (5*)BEST lamb I've had and I usually like my own 'French'/rosemary garlic treatment as a traditional way to prep lamb. The chef's bruschetta was also excellent. We (four of us flamenco fans) highly recommend this combination of song, dance, music and food! A real ABQ find! Great place to take out of town guests.

Yelp
I had not heard about this show until a friend from out-of-town discovered it & got us reservations. I have been to a number of flamenco shows in Andalucia in Spain & this was as good as any I experienced there (and I got a much better seat!). This is great venue to show off Albuquerque to "foreigners" or to take your favorite date.

Yelp
Albuquerque is the home of the best flamenco in the U.S., thanks to its dance program at the University of New Mexico and the National Flamenco Institute based in Albuquerque. The dance and guitar performances at Tablao were spectacularly good and energetic. The tapas were generous and reasonably priced. The evening could not have been more enjoyable. Frankly, I can't wait to do it again! Gracias!

Yelp
Wow! I have never seen professional flamenco dancing this was wonderful live music too did not expect that I had goosebumps. I ordered sangrias both were good. I also ordered olives great, I mean you can't go wrong with that. My friends ordered food and liked it. I will definitely go back!

Yelp
Great place for tapas and great flamenco show. Please try the Spanish tortilla, and the olive medley with a fig sangria. Definitely a go to in ABQ.

Yelp
We were sold tickets for a 90-minute show, per box office. The show started 10 minutes late due to sound checks. From start to finish, the show lasted 1 hour and 5 minutes. This included the group's intermission. Not sure what happened to the 90-minute show. It was a Sunday night and the venue was fairly empty. Still honor your showtime for which you sold tickets! We actually asked our server if the group was coming back for an encore due to the short performance. The performers did a fine job. Venue food and drinks were great.

Yelp
The cuisine was outstanding and the show was great! We really enjoyed the tasty selection of food and Chef Ashley was friendly and welcomed our questions about the dishes. We are very impressed with this restaurant and the show. Anyone visiting our lovely city should experience this unique show and enjoy the fantastic dishes prepared by this very talented chef.

Yelp
Amazing performance and amazing food! I got the albóndigas, meat tray, aoli chips, Moroccan lamb, and sangria. The albóndigas and Moroccan lamb were definitely the best! The meat tray was good too but the entrees are better. The aoli chips were not that great, I would pass on those. I reserved my seats online a few days before the performance. I got the $20 seats which were not bad but the seats are a bit tight. Not sure if the $30 seats are worth it. There was plenty of parking but its a bit of a walk but not too bad. Definitely check this place out if you're going to Albuquerque. I would gladly come here again.
