Takeout Meal Subscriptions Are Helping Some Restaurants Weather COVID-19 | Eater

"An emerging restaurant-subscription platform that launched at the end of May 2020 and expanded rapidly, now operating across dozens of restaurants in more than 25 cities. The service is pitched as a way for operators to secure recurring revenue, predict demand, staff appropriately, and reduce waste while avoiding high fees and poor margins associated with major delivery and aggregator apps. Founders say some partner restaurants have generated millions in subscription revenue in a short time, and partner fees are reportedly around 10 percent — lower than typical delivery-app commissions." - Brenna Houck

I came from NC for vacation wanted to go to brunch with my friends and ended up so disappointed. We waited 25 minutes although we reserved a table. We waited a hour for the food but our drink is came out on time. The margaritas flights we ordered were pretty but that was it. It was so much syrup in the drinks that I immediately felt nauseous. Each drink tasted like medicine. Thankfully, our waitress returned our drinks but the damage was done. I ended up with a headache. When our food finally came out, I was too nauseated to eat. I ate one wing and the sides were bland. I got yams that barely had sugar and salty greens. The bartender and staff need more training because there’s no way I spent $145 on that.

I drove an hour to this restaurant as a recommendation. We were sat at a table that had food under it on the floor from previous guests. The dining glasses were not clean. We waited for an extremely long time for the food to come out. None of our food came out at the same time. For the price, it was definitely not worth it. The only thing that was decent was a waffle. I received lobster that was like rubber & inedible. Macaroni and cheese that was burnt on the top and smelled horrible. They did replace the lobster, but by that time, the thrill was completely gone. My daughter did somewhat like the oxtails. I will say my waitress was kind and tried the best she could, considering what was going on. This really could have been a great little spot, but they really have to get it together. Ultimately, our meal ended up being given complimentary. I probably won't go back again, but I hope they can get it together. It has potential, but our experience was not great, especially driving in from out of town.

My cousin celebrated her birthday here...The food was amazing!!! The drinks were Amazing! Overall.. I would definitely go back anytime I had the chance! Everyone was so polite and they had a dj that was jamming...people were even getting up dancing...The atmosphere was great! I loved it!

This was my first time visiting from outside of Tampa. The restaurant was very clean but they were out of the very popular items oxtails and short ribs my food I ordered was lamb chops came out with only 2 on the plate the grits and fish with shrimp was not crispy but it was tolerable the stuffed eggs would be better with fried shrimp the only rave i have is the seafood mac n cheese. The drinks mimosa flight was not good overall the experience was good.

I was there with my family who had a reservation for 6pm on 3/15/2025 party of 7. The atmosphere was amazing the whole place was a vibe!!!. The food was also amazing however, my only complaint was the service. We arrived a few minutes before 6pm and was able to be seated but it took 30 minutes for a waitress to even come get our drink order. I will admit on the restaurant behalf it was busy inside however I was able to notice a couple who came in after us, was seated and received their drink order even before we was even able to get ours in. At 7:10pm the waitress came back and took our food order then at 7:45pm we received our food. Now do not get me wrong I really enjoyed my time there and I do plan to go back but during the entire time I was there I only saw/spoke with my waitress 3 times and I was there for a little over 2 and half hours. Also when we received our food we had no silverware so we asked for some, it took and extra 15 minutes to even get that so we could start even to eat our food, to me that's a little crazy especially since I was a waitress at one point in my life and can understand a lot. My point is this over all this place was amazing but they could still use some fine tuning. Don't over look them they are great!!!.

Google
The outside will fool you but the inside of the restaurant is a vibe! Our waitress literally sat with us and gave great recommendations. I thought the chicken and waffles were strips. When I saw the wings I wasn't feeling it. After one flavorful bite I had to apologize. There is so much flavor in their food we noticed there were no salt and pepper shakers on the table. If and when you go take notice! They do the work in the kitchen before it gets to the table. If you are looking for good food go on over to Table 22! You won't be disappointed!

Table 22, for brunch; a Black-owned business. Visited: Saturday, July 5th One highlight: the food came out quickly, which is always a plus. Minor letdown: I originally planned to order the On the Green with grilled chicken, but they were out of their house vinaigrette dressing. Yes, the house dressing. So I had to pivot. Now for the good part. The food — yum, yum, ah… yum. My lady had the Brownsville Grits with Crab Cakes paired with the Green Apple Margarita. I had the same dish but swapped in broiled shrimp. My drink was the Pretty in Pink. Yum. One thing I’d like to add. In my opinion, this is a grown folk spot. Not really the place for little ones. The R&B vibe was smooth and well-balanced. Not too loud. Just right. Go head, DJ. Solid grown folk energy. Now I’m going to keep it 💯 with y’all. If you frown on places that hit you with an automatic 3 percent service charge plus a 15 percent gratuity, then go ahead and pivot. Will I be back? Honestly, no. The food was banging. The drinks were on point. The place has that grown and sexy vibe, right in the heart of Temple Terrace on E. Busch Boulevard. But the forced gratuity and service charge just didn’t sit right with me. I know how to tip, and I do, especially when I’m intentionally supporting a Black-owned business. But when it’s automatically added, regardless of the service, it takes away my choice. That changes the whole experience. My waitress was decent. No complaints there. The vibe was still nice. But even with that, I left feeling unsatisfied, like something was off. And that’s not how I want to feel after spending my money. Ultimately, to become a regular who can fully enjoy all the wonderful aspects the establishment offers, whether it's the vibrant atmosphere, the great music, or the sense of community. However, the idea of a 18% service/gratuity fee, even for a casual visit to the bar, makes it a bit challenging to do so. I’d love to feel like I can drop by and relax without that added consideration. So, while I gave Table 22 a fair shot, it’s not a place I’ll return to. The experience didn’t align with the price or the principle. I can only lead you to the water. It’s up to you to drink it. The End.

If you’re looking for an elevated dining experience in Tampa—Table 22 is the place. As a Tampa native, I’ve tried it all, and trust me—this spot is in a league of its own. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm, upscale energy. The host team is welcoming, and the service? Impeccable. Special shoutout to our favorite server, Deja—she’s an absolute gem. Her attention to detail is unmatched, she makes every guest feel seen, and always gets it right. Ask for her! And let’s not forget Ishmael—he keeps the entire experience running smoothly, always checking in to ensure every guest is vibing and well taken care of. Now let’s talk food. The lamb chops are perfectly seasoned and melt-in-your-mouth tender. The mac & cheese is a standout—crispy golden top with the creamiest center. And don’t skip the chicken & waffles—the flavors are balanced just right, sweet, savory, and soulful. The drinks are beautifully crafted—whether you want something bold or something smooth, they’ll deliver. And the music? A whole vibe. From throwback classics to modern hits, it’s the perfect soundtrack for a stylish night out. Whether it’s a date night, birthday dinner, or a treat-yourself kind of evening, Table 22 delivers luxury, flavor, and unforgettable energy. 10/10 recommend—this is Tampa at its finest.

Yelp
I went to Table 22 for brunch with my family reunion.. Music playing and plenty of tables for our family. It is very nice inside with pictures of music stars and African art . Our waitress, Kamri was very patient with us. For an appetizer, I ordered deviled crabs to share with my table. Very good. For my entree, I got the oxtails and grits which were tasty. My family really enjoyed themselves. I'm sure the coordinator of the reunion was extremely happy and when the family comes into town, they will visit Table 22.

Yelp
I truly enjoy the soul food this restaurant provides. I had the lamb ribs with collard greens. I personally don't like greens from just anybody, but something told me to try these, and they were absolutely delicious. The lamb was tender and seasoned perfectly. Our waitress was on top of her game, and her service was very attentive to our party of 5. The location of this restaurant made me wonder if I made a wrong turn, but once inside the restaurant and I saw the decor, I was in awe. It's beautiful in there! Overall, it was a great time, and I will be visiting again.

Yelp
We went to check out this brunch spot on a Saturday. I got the margarita flight as a starter. I had to send it back because it was so sweet. The second time wasn't as bad but its not something i would order again. We had 1:30 reservations and adhered to it for the most part. Maybe a couple mins after but still good. Food: I had the philly cheese egg roll. 3/5. Greasy but good flavor Oxtail with cheesy grits: 3/5 i likes the grits. 3/4 of my meal was oxtail fat or bones which annoyed me. It tasted good when i did find meet so it was disappointing i couldn't enjoy it the way it was intended. I already sent the margarita back and didnt want to be "one of those people " so i ate around the fat and bones. Cornbread: DRY Vibe: great vibes. Would come back for that. Good DJ As someone who isnt from tampa i wouldn't come back again

Yelp
Quick version. Brunch, DJ spinning the R&B and Hip Hop hits, hookah, crowded, and decent food. I arrived for a friend's birthday party. 12-15+ women. Waitresses did the best they could possibly do. The restaurant was crowded. Mimosas flight was too sweet- tropical punch, peach, strawberry, and prickly pear. A splash of OJ and champagne would have been sufficient. I ordered the seafood mac, greens, and salmon egg rolls. Collards were vinegar heavy. Mac and egg rolls were tasty. Nothing to write home to mom about, though. The table was filled with lobster mac, shrimp and grits, chicken & waffles, deviled eggs & shrimp, and an assortment of other items on the menu. I presume it was all good, or maybe just edible. No one really spoke out about the food. I'm sure this is The Spot for someone. It's not my type of vibe. I'm one and done.

Yelp
I came to Table 22 for a friends bday brunch with are friends . We had a great time ! DJ was on point , was playing all the good R&B songs . The restaurant is nice . Drinks and food came out at a decent time . The only reason why I'm giving it 3 starts is because I have never been to a restaurant who does auto grat of 20%. That's just beyond me . I've been to 5 start restaurants and better restaurants in the Tampa Bay Area and I have never seen a 20% grat and this isn't Miami . The service was decent I wouldn't say it was worth 20% auto grat . We did have a party of 8 but we as a group should have just did one check auto save the extra fees . Oh yeah there was a service fee on top of it too . So I HIGLY RECOMMEND paying with one card . Just send someone the money pulse tip and yall pay it out on one card to save all the extra fees . I had the Deuce Deuce . It was pretty good . I also got a glass of champagne twice ! Also going to leave a view of my

Yelp
The food was bomb! My drinks were great too! I forgot to take pics of the drinks but I had a lemon drop & a wild-berry lemon drop - double shots. The table had wings & waffles & also wings & french toast. I had the fried lobster tail with French toast, grilled lobster, tail with seafood, macaroni and cheese and also I think it's called the Tampa, it's fried crab rolls. Our waitress was awesome! I believe her name is Sadè and she is from Mississippi. The music was great. It was a mixed crowd in there. We went for dinner on a Friday.

Yelp
Table 22 sits in the midst of a strip mall setting, which means it has ample parking space. From the outside, the establishment is unassuming, but a pleasant surprise awaits you upon walking in as far as the ambiance is concerned. The decor is pleasant and offers an open concept view with a full service sitting bar at the very end of the room. We were greeted at the door but chose to sit at the bar as the tables offered little elbow room. Which led to us having to sit with our backs towards the door, dj, and social scene, which diminishes the experience, in my opinion. For dinner, we chose the wings, eggrolls, waffle, and shrimp w/grits. I would say the customer service was good, and the food came out in a timely manner. The highlight of the evening goes to the dj. I appreciate a good ol' RnB mashup, and he understood the assignment which made our Friday night for us!

Yelp
We were in Tampa and decided to stop Table 22. We didn't have a reservation and the wait was going to be more than one hour. It was very busy. Therefore, my friend and I decided to check at their bar for a drink, and thankfully, a couple was leaving, and we were able to sit. The place was clean, nicely decorated. There was a DJ playing great music, and the crowd seemed to enjoy the ambiance. The bartender Manny took care of us and suggested that we go for the waffles and chicken, which I did order. My friend opted for the French toast and chicken. The food was pretty decent, and we didn't have to wait long. l need to come back. I will make a reservation so I can sit at a table to enjoy the full experience. It's a really cool place, great vibes for brunch with a group of friends.

Yelp
The food was tasty overall but a few things were poorly executed. They had a DJ which makes for a good time but the music was so loud that the table conversations had to be yelled to be heard. On to the food...The wings and deviled eggs apps were absolutely delicious! For my entree I ordered oxtails and grits with a lobster tail on the side. The oxtails were yummy and melt in your mouth tender but my lobster tail was ambushed and overcooked in the worst way. I ate one bite and just couldn't. As for the service there were a few times we asked staff members for plates and utensils for our appetizers...some said they "only bus the tables" while the others just forgot. Our food took a substantial amount of time to get our table- WELL over an hour++. It took so long that we considered grabbing something else to make it to our next engagement on time. Overall it was fine- just not for me.

Jazz C.

Yelp
it's one of the very few Black-Owned places in the area, so I love it for that. It had good and bad. The decor was beautiful, the music/ dj was okay with the classics, and food was really good. However, we waited for over an hour to get our food and about 40 minutes to even get our drinks. I saw a couple of waitresses that seemed like they had a little bit of an attitude. When I opened up my silverware, it was still dirty. and because the chairs are fabric, some of those had stains in them. Also a lot of the music was sexy slow jams so idk if you want your kids around all that but it was cool to me lol. Not a bad place but could use some touch ups. I like having these kinds of places here.

Yelp
The food and the atmosphere were amazing. I took my wife there for our anniversary craving the amenities that Table 22 had to offer here in Tampa. The menu was top notch and the wait staff was friendly and very helpful in explaining the menu. This is what's missing? Here in the Tampa area. Thank you for making our 31 anniversary one of our most memorable moments. I recommend this Restaurant to all visitors in Tampa area

Yelp
I was part of a trio dining at Table 22 last Friday. Prior to my visit, I'd seen numerous Instagram posts, heard announcements, seen pictures of food and received recommendations, building up the restaurant's reputation as a must-try. Upon arrival, I initially questioned if I was at the correct place due to its location nestled between a furniture store and another potentially abandoned building. However, spotting the Table 22 sign in the parking area confirmed my arrival at the right spot. I was welcomed by a guy (can't recall his name) at the door. I informed him I was waiting for two friends. The ambiance inside featured a DJ booth playing nostalgic D'Angelo tunes, setting the mood--not 2023 D'Angelo, but How Does It Feel D'Angelo circa 2000! If you know; you know. Anyway, I was seated by the guy/host and shortly thereafter a tall beautiful lady named Sade took over. As I awaited for my friends, I admired the R&B artist portraits adorning the walls, creating a fantastic atmosphere. Yet, my anticipation for the food grew stronger with every passing moment. Finally joined by my friends, each ordered their preferences, from lamb chops and chicken and waffles to indulging in King Crab starters. Although tempted by other savory dishes, I settled for the chicken and waffles due to the aftermath of my Thanksgiving feast. As for my friends, I received positive feedback on the Mac, fries, lamb chops, and King Crab. As for my chicken and waffles, while the flavor of the waffle was excellent, the waffle was dry, potentially not freshly made. When Sade came to check on us, I just said things were fine because her service was fast & efficient, the chicken was on point & the vibe was right. Despite my waffle, the chicken itself was flavorful and the highlight of my meal. In terms of the menu and experience, I aim to return to Table 22 in the future. We arrived early in the evening, under the impression they closed at 7:15 pm (thanks Google) only to discover they transition to a DJ/lounge ambiance with limited menu options after 8 (I believe). I think they actually were open til midnight that night. Despite this, I plan to revisit, supporting their establishment and providing an updated experience to get them to 4 ! One Love

Yelp
I want to fly back out to Tampa just for Table 22!!! The food was so good!! The service was even better!! Such a cute restaurant with great music!! I highly recommend the French toast and the cheesy grits!!

Yelp
Food was amazing! Was in town for a family reunion... staff very friendly and efficient .. haven't experienced that in a minute ... ambiance is nice I can def see a larger location or growing a little more... I didn't know/think Tampa had a spot like this .. I was highly impressed. kudos to Camry for holding it down for the Tunsil/Bell/Montgomery Family reunion.

Yelp
Very very pleased with our visit here! The food, ambiance, and service were all great! The food actually had flavor and was plentiful. My only issues was my waffle was overcooked and dry but the flavor was good. The French toast was way better. The chicken and lobster were SEASONED so if you're sensitive to salt , just a heads up. Everything was delicious tho! Our waitress , Danielle was great! She was super friendly and welcoming. Anything we needed she was there and thorough. The ambiance was a vibeeee! There is no other restaurant like this in Tampa bay. F.U. B. U

Yelp
So, this spot's kinda hidden around 50th and Busch, sandwiched between Dollar General, JLo Beauty Supply, and Rose Furniture. Don't judge by the outside - not the fanciest setup, but hey, there's plenty of parking. Rolled up right at opening, a small line forming, but once you step inside, it's surprisingly decked out. Cool vibe, great music - not too loud or crazy. Our server, Sade (pretty sure that was her name), rocked these awesome colorful locs and was amazing the whole time. Now, let's talk eats. The salmon eggrolls? Legit best appetizer! So tasty. My cocktail (Breezy 22) was great, they offer a nice selection of drinks and flights. Went for the oxtails and grits - which hit the spot. I ordered the Seafood macaroni as an extra side but it didn't really pair well with my oxtails, two many fighting flavors. However alone they were both great. (Ate the Mac as a leftover later on that day) Overall, good times. Staff? A+ in my book.

Yelp
New spot in Tampa was referred by a friend. They've only been opened for a few days so it goes without saying they have some work to do. Food was okay, service was okay. Ambiance was rather nice. Live DJ and there is also hookah, not ideal of that is on request or by reservation.

Yelp
I was super excited to try this place but it was kind of a let down. We started with the salmon egg rolls. They were not good at all. I ordered the lobster mac and cheese and the presentation was good but the dish was not. It came with shrimp that were super mushy and the mac and cheese was not good. The lobster was very good though. A manager came by and asked about our experience. When I told her, she quickly took the lobster mac and cheese off the bill and asked if I wanted something else. I politely declined. The mimosa flight was the highlight of the meal. I doubt I will return.

Cortina D.

Yelp
I really need to read reviews before making reservations. The good: Chicken is well seasoned. Service was attentive & timely. The not so good: Unless you're seated in the booths along the wall, seating is too cozy for my taste. That lil drink I posted, 23$. I kid you not. Wings were small. French toast was tasty & plated nicely, but brought to the table cold. It wasn't a bad experience, just not somewhere I'd visit again, nor do I feel I got my money's worth. No where near as lively as it was advertised.

Yelp
It was an experience. It was four people in my group. I called early to make a reservation but the lady on the phone told me to just walk in at 6:30 because they closed at 8pm. So we did, we got there and the hostess said it was about 30 minute wait. She also stated she was just waiting on a table and she would seat us. However, there was a group before us but she never mentioned that when I checked in so when the table was cleared and they sat the other group I became agitated. We sat at the bar while waiting for table and the gentleman informed us that part of the bar out of service and he asked another bartender to help us. We sat there about 10 minutes and the other bartenders were just standing around and did not even approach us. The bartender who doing the drinks for the servers had to tell the other bartender again to help us. We were seated but our server was helping two large parties so we were slow getting drinks and food. I ordered an Old Fashioned and it was good. My husband had the Table 22 which he really enjoyed. I tried the Seafood Mac n Cheese and it was good, well seasoned. A lot of people were ordering The Upper West Side which had the lobster tail on top. It looked very tasty. My husband tried wings but without any sauce. He said they were well seasoned. Overall the vibe was really nice, we loved the music. It is a fun place but not the place to go for a romantic date night.

Yelp
In for the Megan concert and needed a place to go to before the festivities. Found this location on Tik tok. Able to walk in straight away. India and Riley were the best of host. Knowledgeable about the menu and was able to cater a meal that was great for the whole table. Will be back for sure. Shout out to the Dj for keeping a great vibe and shouting out our birthday girl!

Yelp
My boyfriend found this place through TikTok. It was really good! We arrived early Sunday because they don't take reservations unless it's a big party. We were promptly sat. Our food came out super fast and we were pleased. I got the Brownsville grits with shrimp and a side of collard greens. The greens were AMAZING!!! Just like how my dad makes them! The grits were a little runny for my taste and it only had 4 shrimp that were pretty small. My boyfriend got the chicken and waffle dish with a side of potatoes, both were delicious! The sides are pretty big portions! It's very clean and spacious in here. The staff was very friendly and attentive. They have a live DJ too so it's a nice little brunch vibe for sure. We will definitely be coming back!

Yelp
Please listen when I tell you that Table 22 set the bar very high! The vibe was great. Great music, delicious food and the service was excellent. Table 22 did not disappoint. The lobster Mac was AMAZING! I will most definitely be returning

Yelp
Not the prettiest location but the interior design was aesthetically pleasing. They did a great job with decor. Went for brunch and was seated immediately with our reservation. Our waitress was very personable and attentive. Our cocktails and food were great. For appetizers we ordered the knighton egg flight topped with fried chicken and the sanders wings. Our chicken on the deviled egg was a bit cold but over all tasted well. The flavors complimented each other well. For entrees we ordered the Calvary Lamb Chops and the South Broad Oxtail. The lamb chops and greens were very well seasoned but the lamb chops were quite small. With how small they are, the dish would be even better two extra lambs. Had more greens than protein. The corn bread was our least favorite due to the dryness. As far as the South Broad Oxtail, it was very good as well minus the edges of the meat being slightly over seared resulting it to be a tad bit dry. It was falling off the bone though. Ordering extra meat is a must. The meat to grits ratio was not balanced. As far as our cocktails, they were hitting! Mixed well and gives you what you need. Loved it. The dj was DJing. Lots of throwbacks that make you want to get up and dance. Such a vibe. I will definitely be returning to try their dinner menu and their new seasonal cocktails. Highly recommend dining with them.

Yelp
Ended up visiting for a work event. Due to the size of our group, we had a buffet set up for food and worked with the server for drinks. It seemed that the staff had not handled a group of this size before. The buffet took a while to get set up. When I got in line, all of the plates were dirty. I had to wait while clean plates were retrieved from the kitchen. The food was good. I ended up having fried chicken, greens, deviled eggs, shrimp and Mac and cheese. The drinks were decent. I ordered a couple of espresso martinis. The service we got was good, especially for managing a large group.

Yelp
I went o their grand opening and it was so good! Everyone was very friendly, the inside was very nice and clean, and the food was DELICIOUS! Here's what we got and the ratings Oxtail and Grits: 9.5/10! Very tender and fall off the bone . Insane depth of flavor Lobster Mac and cheese: the best I've ever had (and I'm typically not one for seafood and cheese). So cheesy, the lobster was perfectly cooked and well seasoned, and it came out very hot/fresh! Definitely need to come back since this place is so close to me!

Yelp
The food was excellent once it was finally brought out. It takes a long while for drinks and food to be served after ordering. The atmosphere with the live DJ is definitely a vibe.

Yelp
Brunch all Day Everyday. The Food, the Atmosphere, the Service - all of the above is a vibe. The service was timely and the place was at capacity with a line. The food arrived hot and the presentation was Exceptional. The mimosa were great too. Definitely going back again soon. Enjoy!

Yelp
Especially liked the appetizers and customer service. The shrimp & grits were a little to salty for my tastebuds but appetizers and customer service made up for that. Will visit again.

Yelp
I was in tampa with friends and stumbled upon this place. It was a pleasant surprise for a brunch spot. When we arrived they had a long line and everyone who was already inside seemed to be enjoying their food and the cool vibes of the place. We didnt have much of a wait because the friendly staff welcomed us with open arms and great attitudes. I was just as a child in the candy store because the food was really good. Mac and cheese was on point and a decent size serving. Wings were really good (lemon garlic and the other flavor that i cant recall). Service was prompt and considerate and they cared about how ppl enjoyed their meal and overall experience!!!! If you are a traveler and foodie like myself you can just tell when ppl care... Table 22, thank you, I will find my way there again soon!

Yelp
Starting with the good. The service was absolutely AMAZING. Our server was Brie and my review is in no way a reflection of her she did her job great. The ambiance was great if you're into that vibe. The music can be extremely loud so be prepared to speak several octaves higher than normal. The food- well we were a party of 8 and our food came staggered so the last person to get her food was when we had all finished ours. So that was disappointing (however the manager comped her meal). I was a bit confused by the menu as it stated the lobster Mac and cheese came with one standard side, however once the bill came I was charged 3 dollars for the side. It wasn't much to complain about however I do think the menu should be changed since it doesn't come with a side. The lobster Mac and cheese was ok not the best I've had but not the worst. The collard greens were not my favorite. With mimosa and tip my bill alone was $77 which if the food had been better I would not have minded but considering the food was just ok not worth the price tag. I probably will not venture over again as this isn't a convenient location for me however I am glad I tried it out. I hope they do well in the future.

Yelp
The food was good and affordable. There is a DJ playing RNB which adds to the vibe. I had the oxtail and grits along with the margarita flight. Service was good and relatively quick. The exterior seems a bit sketchy but it was definitely worth stepping inside.

Yelp
At first, when I pulled in the plaza, I thought I was in the wrong place. When I walked in, the ambiance was welcoming and beautiful. The service was fast and our server was amazing. The food was delicious. Only recommendation is a little more seasoning to the king Krab. I would definitely be going back and Friday nights it's a vibe.

Yelp
We waited 45 mins but it was worth it. Food was 10/10, atmosphere was 10/10. I would definitely go again.

Yelp
NEW We got in about one fifteen and was sat immediately. After that it took 20 minutes for us to even get water then we waited another 20 minutes and nobody came to see us. We say people who came in after us get a waitress and get served. There were about 10 employees walking around or standing and talking, a few even walked past us. We asked the host to try to find us a waiter but he never came back. We were looking forward to the food too.

Yelp
First time visiting today, pretty nice place. I was overall happy with my experience however I will NOT order oxtail and grits again due to them giving me 2 1/2 extremely small oxtails for $32. I took my food to go and didn't notice until I got home but never again! I also ordered an additional to go order for a family member, they were fortunate enough to get 3. Still extremely small though. Definitely not worth the money!

Yelp
Another one bites the dust! Wanted to support this business but quickly seeing it fall to the same typical issues when dining at black establishments. You def need a reservation but we walked in and was told a 30 min wait. That turned into 50min. Service was slow and the staff just looked unorganized. I ordered the oxtails which were slightly overcooked. However a person in my party ordered the lobster Mac and cheese only to get the most overcooked lobster I have ever seen. Like it would not separate from the shell it was so overcooked. For the prices they are charging food should be nearly perfect almost every time. The drinks were good and the ambience is nice considering the location. The desserts are not freshly made but instead bought from a company and it's the same desserts you can find at Disney manic Kingdom. All in all it's a no go for me. The owner literally stood there and watched his team flounder. We walked in at 145pm and left at 5pm and it really made no sense why.

Yelp
A1 food and services across the board. I would say its tuck away in a older plaza but once you go in the vibe is cool and chill with good rnb music for your soul. Didn't eat anything that was not good. The only con I experience was my french toast being a lil cold but it was still good lol

Yelp
First off, the food is amazing. There are plenty of options to choose from to satisfy both savory and sweet cravings. The chicken and French toast was so delicious! I sampled my someone's ox tail dish as well and that was top tier as well! I also love the margarita flight. The music is spot on, covering amazing r&b mashups. I also enjoyed the service. Our serve was so sweet and had honest recommendations that really helped lead our tables experience as first time customers. She didn't miss! I cannot wait to go again!

Yelp
Our first time here was a few days ago & we were seated immediately. We ordered our food @ the same time but only mine arrived..i waited a long time to see if they would bring out his food but it never arrived. I took several trips to the restroom & still no food. Workers even came to our table & asked were we waiting on anything & we said yes but still no food. Then my man finally got up & had a conversation with the promoter & the manager but still no food or answers about the food & everyone appeared lost & confused. They tried to offer free drinks but we declined by this time we just canceled his order & asked for the check. When i asked who was the server @ table 14.. our table number they pointed to a waitress we never saw before. So a waitress that wasn't assigned to our table took our order & never communicated with our assigned waitress. This was to unorganized! After we finally got our check to pay for the one entrée we received then the whole squad came to our table to try to make up for all the confusion. No thank you....I'm one & done!

Yelp
First things first, aesthetically from the outside I was Skeptical however, walking inside it was absolutely surprisingly cute! Next, if you don't have Sade as your waitress just leave with our party of 9 she was patient, attentive and didn't miss a beat! The entire group Was impressed with Sade and her service! Last but not least the food was amazing, fresh and full of flavor. Crab cake, lamb chops and lobster Mac n cheese did not disappoint! So basically 10/10 and we all said we would be back but only if we get Sade! Sorry no pics we ate it up too quick! Oh yeah they were jamming too!

Yelp
My first time trying table 22. I'm all for supporting blackowned businesses. We didn't wait long for a table. It did take some time for something to drink. We ordered the French toast with lobster. My French toast was burnt, my husband's was perfectly made. When you flipped my French toast over it was completely burnt. The lobster was over cooked, very dry and tough. Overall I learned my lesson on this dish, not to order it again. It wasn't worth $32. I ordered the mimosas very good. It came with Strawberry, mango, cherry mimosas. Ambiance was nice, decor was nicely put together.

Yelp
Had the Montgomery Grilled Cheese, and the meat tasted as if it was burned. The King Krab was good though. I did have a coctail, and that was good.

Yelp
Tried this place and unfortunately my food experience was not where it was at. I ordered the corn beef hash with 2 eggs on the side (eggs scrambled hard w/ cheese) Im guessing they mixed it up my order came with no cheese and the hash was burnt to a crisp. Naturally I send it back only to be provided the same plate just the hash chopped and my cheese on the eggs that added. Our waitress didn't elaborate on the non-refill fountain drinks nor the additional tips received on the front and back end.

Yelp
Service was Great, nice friendly environment. The food was very tasty and the drinks were on point. A live Dj jamming music and the waitresses treated me like part of the family.

Yelp
First time going to table 22. Went with my wife and niece for brunch. Walking in was a vibe on its own, very clean and comfy. Once we got there we were greeted from everyone we encountered with nothing but smiles and hospitality. Our drinks were on point my wife had the sangria, niece mimosas that were different flavors excellent!!! I had Malibu with pineapple. There are no words for the food accepted phenomenal who ever the chef is God bless and continue to bless their hands. No extra seasonings needed. Great place to go with friends, fam, date. Let's not forget the music not too loud just perfect. Will definitely go again and recommend anyone to visit.
