Very impressive authentic Japanese restaurant. Food was amazing. My recommendation is Ankimo(monk fish liver), and sashimi with love sweet shrimp. You eat shrimp as raw sashimi and heads will be fried for you to eat. I loved fried shrimp head. I recommend if you love authentic japanese food experience in Virginia. Be aware that price is bit high

Very delicious and fresh sushi-grade fish! I highly recommend arriving at opening as parking is very limited and there may be a longer wait to get a table during busy hours. The staff is very accommodating and respectful and the portions, especially for lunch, are very filling. My favorites are the sushi assortments or bentos, which let you have small portions of many foods. Their tempura and other appetizers are also very delicious 😋 Whenever my lunch schedule allows, I will be back again at opening!

We came here for a weekday dinner, and we had good experiences dining here. The fish liver appetizer is nice. The chicken skewer and grilled fish are also both nice, but the grilled fish skin was a bit too burnt for me. The deluxe sushi plate is very good except the uni is very smelling & almost disgusting on this particular day. We may come back to give it another try & see if it’s a one-off issue vs a persistent one. Besides uni, all other items are delicious and authentic.

Place was ok. Look like old place been there so long time. Sushi and foods were ok. I would give 7/10. I don’t like salad too sour compared another place. The price a little pricey compared another place. Service was ok 7/10. But I still tips 20%. I didn’t like the way how they put Sashimi on white plate. Never see another place do like this before. All of these $160. No ordered drink

This is one of the most authentic Japanese restaurants we have ever been to! Wonderful and attentive service, and terrific food! They have menu items that we can’t find anywhere else. The sushi is incredibly fresh and delicious. All our food tastes great and was very authentic! We have been here several times and have gotten many new to us items that we will definitely get again! It’s a great place to go if you are looking to try something new and unique that you haven’t tried before.

Google
Fantastic! Absolutely loved eating here. The food is great and the servers are really kind and helpful! The portions are good and the food is always fresh. We always love eating at this restaurant! 10/10!

Google
There’s a reason why this place is always packed, and there’s a waitlist even before they open (especially on the weekends). It’s one of the few Japanese restaurants in the area that are owned and run by Japanese staff (Blue Ocean being another one). Everything on their menu is so spot on and delicious. Pricing is fair and can’t go wrong choosing anything. Bigger groups (4+) tend to wait a bit longer due to their limited space inside.

Google
Excellent sushi and fish in McLean. We live so close and always find ourselves here. Pictured is the chirashi and dinner box A with chicken and salmon. The dinner box is honestly so much food and it comes with the California roll. Miso soup here is excellent. Service is incredible, seated and served water right away with food arriving shortly after. Would recommend Tachibana to anyone!!

Yelp
One of my go-to sushi spots--always reliable. We got a spread of: age-dofu, yakitori, beef negimaki, zaru soba, salmon skin roll, sushi regular, sashimi regular, salmon onigiri, and some à la carte nigiri--tuna, yellowtail belly, salmon, and mackerel. Would skip the age-dofu next time--texture and flavor just weren't there. Yakitori was fine, good not great. The salmon skin roll? Crazy. We liked it so much we got a second. Fish quality across the board was superb. The dining room is clean and cozy, staff is super kind, and clean bathroom!

Yelp
Great staff and more authentic Japanese food. It was crowded but still comfortable. They accommodated our group well.

Yelp
I loveeee sushi! This is one of Bradley's favorites and it's been sitting in my backyard. I went once back in HS because it's in the heart of McLean but I don't remember it being super memorable so it was cool to try it again! Def gives off the same energy my favorite home spot that I love, would def add this to my list of go tos for sushi!

Yelp
The sushi was pretty good as well as the rolls! It did take awhile for the food to come out but mainly because we ordered so much. I will definitely stop by again!

Yelp
Tachibana is your go to place for Japanese cuisine in McLean. They have been there for long time and are standard setting in the area. You will get Japanese chefs that know the cuisine and culture. Their products tend to be fresh although there are some miss or hit items (salmon sometimes is too briny and the Shrimp is sometimes chewy). If you go for the specials you will not be disappointed. Bento boxes are a hit with my younger kids and the chirashi bowl a hit with the teen. While you will be enticed to go for sushi, also venture outside of the box. I really enjoy the beef and vegetable sukiyaki when I have a cold; it's a big pot of soup with a light broth. They also have a variety broths for ramen that are delicious. Where could they improve? Add some technology allowing online reservations and ordering.

Yelp
Delicious Japanese food in the McLean area! I would recommend going early because it tends to get pretty busy when it hits dinner time. The food is amazing but the fish and sushi will always be the best. I have been several time and this time I decided to get a cold soba noodles. It was delicious but nothing mind blowing. Previously, I have gotten their sushi and sashimi and those have always been amazing. The service is always immaculate and they are all so nice. Always a solid choice when it comes to Japanese food.

Yelp
A decades long perennial favorite among our friends and family. Absolute attention to detail and absolutely delicious every time.

Yelp
The food was amazing. Most people order sushi or sashimi. As first-time diners here, we could not find many reviews about cooked food, so we ordered Age-Dofu, Shumai(similar to shrimp dumplings), soft-shell crab, Shishamo, yellowtail fish jaw, tempura udon, and tonkatsu. Everything was so good, but I will definitely come back soon for soft-shell crab, shishamo, fish jaw, and tonkatsu. I am glad to find this place.

Yelp
Up front, I eat here at least twice a week. I love the quality of the food and the people who make Tachibana feel like the neighborhood izakaya, the neighborhood (diner) that everyone from the family after soccer practice to the international business makers go to and feel comfortable. Their green tea is phenomenal, and I love their miso soup. It's what my husband brought me when I was at my sickest time and so I will always associate it with healing. Their sushi combos are epic and you can't go wrong with any of them. I love their hamanegi roll and my hubby loves the negimaki with beef (beef wrapped around scallion) or the salmon shioyaki. Come early to get in and enjoy before the rush. If you want take out, order at least several hours before. You won't regret it.

Yelp
My only complaint is the parking. Busy days could be an issue. Food is great(maybe 4/5), service is okay, the ambiance is what you would expect for a small Japanese restaurant. I don't order sushi that often, but other dishes are authentically delicious.

Yelp
Was in the area and wanted to visit again since it's been many years. There's a private lot shared with Peter Changs: the restaurant was not even open but there was a huge line outside. Pretty impressive. Food was delicious. Meals came with soup but I'm BUMMED that the soup was lukewarm. Sushi was fresh. I ordered their lunch bento and it included California Roll(fresh), shrimp dumpling(cold). Tempura( small but fresh). The salmon was delicious and a generous portion was served. Service was good but they were busy.

Yelp
It's been years since we ate here. I'm not sure why a line forms just prior to opening. Seating was quick. Tea is served at no charge. Our lunch meals came with complimentary soup. It wasn't hot. I'm gonna assume they have these cups ready to serve. I always order katsu at Japanese places. Their pork was a Berkshire Loin. It was definitely a good size portion but there was a lot of fat and grizzle. I'm sure others might appreciate it but it was too fatty for me. Staff was busy and barely came out. I get that it's an institution in McLean.

Yelp
As of writing this review, Tachibana has a review of 3.9 stars at 985 reviews and I must say that is probably a very accurate rating for Tachibana at this current moment. I think that the service is still relatively great for the several visits to Tachibana. The ambiance of the restaurant is quite comfortable with dimmer lighting, large open spacing and nice accenting wooden furniture. The servers and all the cooks seem to have been at Tachibana for years and know all of its regulars by heart which makes it even more comforting. If you arrive early for lunches or dinners, the seating will be quick but I have had experiences where the wait was close to 45 minutes to an hour. Service will almost always be better when the restaurant is less crowded here. Some standout dishes are the Kanpachi collars broiled with Teriyaki sauce, the spicy scallop temaki and Hamachi or Maguro sashimi. I would consider these dishes as pretty close to their specialties and they are quality dishes that are almost always really delicious. The Kanpachi collars are clean but nice and fatty as well so the Teriyaki sauce that caramelizes the fat even more with some sugar makes the collars really melty and deliciously balanced, especially if you pair with some rice and pickled ginger. The Spicy Scallop temaki's are great because they make the choice of adding some fried tempura flakes into the temaki adding some more texture while still having the buttery tender chopped scallops. For the sashimi, their chefs have always been serving good slices of sashimi for a while so it is a reliable choice. For the higher prices, I think these items are definitely worth it. Some things I wouldn't recommend are pretty much anything salmon, I find the salmon to be a bit too briny and not a super clean fatty taste. it is likely that their salmon isn't salt-cured or cured long enough to remove the ocean-like brine aroma. Anything shrimp I find to be a hit or miss, sometimes they come out chewy and overcooked and some are perfect so I wouldn't risk it anymore. Overall, The rule of whether you order 'correctly' or not, i.e. choosing their specialties versus filler items on the menu, definitely is in play for Tachibana. Some of the items can be borderline excellent to quite underwhelming depending on what you order. I think I would return only with company if I was invited but I wouldn't choose to come back on my own because of slight inconsistencies.

Yelp
This place has been in Mclean for ages and is one of the very few Japanese restaurants that is run by Japanese (waiting staff mostly Japanese and Koreans). Food is as authentic as you can get and priced accordingly. You can actually sit at the counter and chat with the chef while your nigiri is being prepped, semi-omakase experience without the price tag. I recently found out that they also provided party platter that you could call to order as well. Parking could be a little challenging with the new Peter Chang downstairs attracting crowds.

Yelp
We arrived at opening time to find a line out the door. After taking our names, we were promptly seated. As frequent visitors, we've consistently had great experiences here. I'm a huge fan of the Shioyaki, which is always excellent. Today, I also tried the broiled chicken wing. The green tea was fantastic, with many refills. My wife ordered the sashimi. Despite the full house, our food arrived in a reasonable time. Everything was delicious. Although there was no music, we enjoyed a pleasant lunch at a great price.

Yelp
A few of us spontaneously decided to get Tachibana for dinner this past Thursday and it was a good first experience for me. A couple of my friends have been here a few times and say their lunch specials are definitely worth the price. The service was pretty quick and we enjoyed our entrees at a round table. Their hot tea was quite enjoyable while we were waiting for the food. DONBURI: TUNA, YELLOWTAIL AND SALMON (9 PC) - 36.50 Not a cheap price and definitely more of a splurge for a regular weekday dinner. This came with a side of miso soup which was pretty standard. The donburi bowl was well presented, with each piece of fish spreading neatly across the bowl in a pinwheel shaped, topped with some garnish, lemons, ginger and wasabi. Each piece of sashimi was pretty thick and they give you a good amount of sushi rice that's been topped with some nori and small slivers of ginger. The sashimi quality was fantastic. I enjoyed the yellowtail a lot. The salmon and tuna were good, too! Overall, this was filling and tasty. I would recommend it if you are down to splurge. A couple of my friends got the beef sukiyaki which looked really good. I may have to try that next time!

Yelp
Place needs a reinvestment. Nothing has improved or upgraded since early 2020 covid. Bathrooms, doors, table, chairs all need a renovation. I love this place but also disappointed the place isn't being reinvested in. My mom calls is tempura house because she can smell the oil in her hair after her visit. Food quality is still good across the board and service is still up to par but dam, clean up the place a bit please.

Yelp
I heard that it was the most authentic Japanese restaurant in the area so I booked a reservation since they were looking for great Japanese food. They do not take reservations online (as far as I know) so I called in Saturday afternoon for a Sunday dinner and secured it easily. When arriving to the restaurant the parking was minimal and the restaurant was very busy. We got lucky and secured a few spots but there is also street parking on adjacent streets. We checked in and were seated immediately. A few of the people in our party described the decor saying that it was like we were in Japan. My fiancé and I decided to share the Beef Negimaki, an Ume Shiso Roll, and a Tuna Avocado Roll. Our service was pretty quick. Everything came out staggered but in a good amount of time. We all shared a few orders of Fried Oysters, Edamame, and Vegetable Tempura which were all great (especially the oysters). We really loved the Beef Negimaki. It was a great portion, the beef was tender, and it had a great sauce/flavor. The sushi was also solid. We didn't order some extraordinary rolls to be fair but it wasn't crazy. Since we were there for a birthday, they also gave the birthday boy a scoop of matcha ice cream which was super nice. Not a bad experience and I definitely understand the authentic Japanese restaurant tag it has. I love to come back and try a bunch of their other offerings since the menu is so huge.

Yelp
My friend invited me to eat with him in this restaurant. This is probably a rare occasion that I even step into McLean but this was a unique surprise for me. Walking in here on a Thursday evening, it was pretty quiet for the most part until the dinner rush started to come in. Lots of business men and giant groups of families started swarming in. I thought I was missing out as I stood out in normal clothing. Anyways, I got started with Gyoza (pork dumplings), an all time classic. You can't go wrong with that accompanied with soy sauce + vinegar. Pretty solid crisp on the bottom, soft at the top where you know for sure this is pan fried. Very good. I wasn't craving soup despite how cold it was so I opted for another classic; Tonkatsu. Funny enough the dish came with Miso Soup before the Tonkatsu so I can't really complain. Breaded pork loin and deep fried to perfection. The dish came with three pieces of Tonkatsu all evenly chopped over a small bed of cut cabbage with a small dash of yuzu paste on the side. There was a small sauce bowl of Bulldog sauce which in my opinion the perfect sauce to pair it with. I also got a small rice bowl which was enough for me to eat the entire dish with too. Was it good? I think the Gyoza is good but it's not really much different than other places in the DMV I've been to. It's a warm up for sure. The Tonkatsu was crispy, hot, not too greasy and had a nice crunch to it with every bite. In the pictures you'll see that the three pieces look really big but I don't personally think it was overall filling. Miso Soup, small cubes of tofu and seaweed in a bowl in a steaming bowl. Pretty good, though like gyoza, it's also just something to warm up to before the actual Entrée. The only downside in my opinion is the price point.. Paid around 30 for the Tonkatsu & the 7.5 for the Gyoza... This is not a cheap option for Japanese food. I think there are better options price wise but still worth checking out if you are in the area.

Yelp
Tachibana has been our go-to for sushi but I must say we left our most recent visit a little disappointed. We ordered more food (about $154) than our usual order (about $130) for two adults and we left feeling less full than usual. We thought we over ordered and would have trouble finishing it all. I noticed some pieces were cut a bit thinner than others and overall pieces appeared smaller than our prior visits. Fish is still fresh as ever and quality very high. I dropped my overall rating from 5 to 3 based on this latest visit. 3.5 is fair but I can't see rounding up to 4 given all factors considered. I expect a lot more when paying $180-190 for dinner for 2. I plan to check out some other sushi restaurants in the DMV area.

Yelp
Solid spot for both sushi and Japanese food at reasonable prices. Walked in for lunch and ordered the Sushi B lunch set, Sashimi lunch set, and Chicken Katsu. We also ordered hot green tea, which was topped off regularly throughout the meal. The chicken katsu was perfect. Hot, crispy, not dry, and accompanied by a yummy sauce plus a hot mustard/yellow wasabi. The nigiri in our lunch set were so-so. They tasted pretty average and I expected a little better from Tachibana, but can't really complain for the price. The spicy tuna roll was actually really good and tasted much fresher than other casual sushi spots. The sashimi set came with so much more fish than we expected. Again the quality was just alright. My bf and I agreed the seared tuna tasted a little off and didn't finish that. Overall, an easy and reasonable lunch out.

Yelp
I have never had such disgusting beef sukiyaki. The beef tasted like cardboard, everything in the pot was overcooked especially spinach. The worst sukiyaki I have ever had. Sushi roll wrapped in soggy chewy seed weeds. All in all the food was nasty! Definitely will not return!
google avatar

Yoojin C.

Yelp
I'm convinced that this is the best sushi place in the DMV area!! Whenever I am craving for quality sushi, I always crave this place! My favorite is the chirashi bowl and second favorite is any of the sushi rolls. The lunch price is reasonable, and it is full-filling. The service here is great as all the workers are polite. I would recommend this place to anyone just wanting to eat delicious sushi!

Yelp
We enjoyed our visit for dinner last week. We are frequent customers for evening family meals. There is something for everyone we started with a large udon noodle soup, edamame and seaweed salad. We ordered the sashimi plate and several rolls. The kids like all the variety. Friendly service and atmosphere.

Yelp
Genuinely confused why this place is so popular and highly rated. We came here around 530pm on a Sunday night and it was packed already. After a small wait, we were seated. The service was quick in terms of taking our order but our food took soooo long. I've never had to wait this long for sushi to come even when I eat at an AYCE place where they're making a huge boat. The sushi was just not good. The tuna and eel had a fishy taste to it and the dragon roll was super small in size and fish and really disappointing considering it was a whooping $18 for such a small quantity. We got the tuna, salmon, salmon & avocado and eel, California, Philadelphia roll and nothing was stand out. Also the restaurant ceiling is leaking so unfortunately the table where I was sitting was right under it, so it was dripping on me. Honestly considering everything, yoyogi is wayyy better and more worth it. I'm genuinely confused why this place was packed.
google avatar

Diana L.

Yelp
I moved away and 5 years later, this place has not diminished in quality of food or friendly service. This is one of my go-to sushi/sashimi restaurants. The sashimi is cut just right and everything always tastes fresh. The chirashi has a good variety and fills you up. The sukiyaki warms your soul on a cold day. All the waitresses always give you a smile even when they ask you to wait 30 minutes because they're so busy. I'll be back and Tachibana will remain on my top restaurants.
google avatar

Yin Y.

Yelp
Waiting is still crazy but doable. Once seated, service is pretty fast. Food quality is consistently good.

Yelp
There is a reason Tachibana has been a McLean staple for years.  And, the line outside as the restaurant opened proved they will continue to be around for years to come.  From the start, with a crowd waiting to enter, it was impressive to see how organized the team was in getting names and numbers and ushering diners inside in an efficient and timely manner.  I have been ordering my favorites at Tachibana for decades and continue to enjoy them. The vegetable tempura is crunchy and a nice variety and the seaweed salad is tasty.  The hot and generous bowl of sukiyaki is very welcome, especially on a cold day.  Also enjoyed were the scallion udon and the unadon rice bowl. There are a lot of great things to eat on the Tachibana menu, maybe next time I will venture away from my usual to enjoy some of the other great options, but, the sukiyaki is just so good...
google avatar

Neli R.

Yelp
Food was amazing!!! Plates for two are big, so make sure you ask how many pieces they have. There free tea and miso soup is so good as well. Service was good as well. It's best to make a reservation. I was there last on a Sunday and waited for 35min or so. Everyone was nice. The place is not pretty but the food and service is good.
google avatar

Annie C.

Yelp
I came here for lunch, and the the dragon roll was interesting since it included an egg, but it was actually still really good. The sushi A lunch was also pretty quality sushi. I would wanna try other things next time. The place was pretty cute, and the servers and everything seemed authentic.
google avatar

Ricky G.

Yelp
A good, traditional sushi bar. Good quality fish and the chefs were amenable to special orders. The nori was tough, on the stale side and the rolls should have been packed tighter as the pieces fell apart. Futomaki was light on the elements, missing campyo and burdock root, but it was cut nice and thick. A long ride for us, but chances are good that we'll go back if we're ever in the area.
google avatar

Evan L.

Yelp
This place is a gem hidden in what appears to be a nondescript office building at first glance. Once you enter, the decor, layout, and staff welcoming you in Japanese really gives the place an authentic feel, which was really nice. To start, we had the green salad, fried oysters, and veggie and shrimp tempura, as well as the miso soup that our entrees came with. All were good- the tempura batter was light and airy like it should be, and the fried oysters were a pleasant surprise. For our entrees, we had the Sushi Deluxe, Tuna and Yellowtail Donburi, and Yosenabe (seafood, chicken, and veggies cooked in a hot pot). We could tell the fish was fresh and good quality, and the seafood pot has really good flavor. The amount of sushi may not look like enough at first glance, but it does fill you up. For dessert we got Taiyaki, which was good and crispier than I'm used to but in a good way. Overall I do recommend Tachibana- some of the better Japanese food you can get in the NoVA area.

Yelp
It is a small and very cozy restaurant in a great location. It would be a great place for a romantic dinner date. The prices are fair and the parking in the rear is very convenient. As for the food, I enjoyed a few "Lucky Cat" beers poured into a beautiful long glass. I had never even heard of that Japanese beer and I was happy I ordered it. It was refreshing and tasty and crisp. I also had the regular-basic sushi entree. It was a selection prepared by the chef and comes with an additional roll, miso soup and basic ginger dressing salad. It was all good. I was especially pleased with the miso soup as it was the best tasting miso soup I have had in 30 years. The salad only contained lettuce and the edamame I ordered to go with my beer wasn't salted so I can't give a higher rating but overall this is legit sushi restaurant and I would recommend it. Ps. The bathrooms were very clean.
google avatar

Christine L.

Yelp
Ambiance: 10/10, homey, cozy, love it Service: 20/10, our server was extremely nice. She was sincerely apologetic for having sushi taking long to come out and gave us free miso and then edamame, and she kept checking in with us before the food arrived Food: 8/10 -nigiri were very delicious, the fish was thick, there was a bit more rice that I would have liked -the Hamanegi roll was honestly my favorite - everything that was the true essence of sushi - good fish, scallion added an amazing herb taste, overall juicy bite, altho again I wouldve liked a bit less rice -the dragon roll was ok

Yelp
One of the best spots here in NOVA! This Japanese restaurant is authentic and very reasonably priced. I have been here multiple times with large groups and it is always busy! I highly recommend fresh sushi, the udon, a la carte sushi, the tempura and chirashi bowl! I have not been disappointed with any of the dishes. If possible, best to make a reservation as the space fills up fast! I love how they also have a lunch menu!

Yelp
We had not been to Tachibana in McLean in quite a few years. But the place seems to still be prospering and turning out great sushi. They are open for lunch on weekends from 12:00 to 2:30. We arrived a little after 1:45. The place was packed, but they gave us a great, private table way in the back, and the lunch rush was ending, so other parties were starting to leave. Perfect timing. We enjoyed yakitori and edamame for our appetizers. We did not feel rushed. We ordered four types of maki rolls, including rainbow roll (my favorite and very colorful), Tachibana roll, and a couple of others. They had five sushi chefs working. Our server was particularly attentive and pleasant. I was so glad to be able to return there.

Suzie Z.

Yelp
One of the best Japanese restaurant in the DMV area. The price is a little steep and we waited 30 mins for a table and another 30 mins for a table, hence we only had lunch at 2pm. The service is good and the place kind of reminds me of Asia.
google avatar

Philip L.

Yelp
I like this hidden gem of a restaurant that just screams authentic. The language, feel, and service really reminds me of the time when I was in Japan. The flavor profile is very dim to American standards so do keep that in mind. It isn't overly salted or overly seasoned, which pays homage to the original intention of the recipe. I like how it was executed and presented. I typically eat a lot so the amount wasn't enough for me, but I did think that for the regular person, they would find that the amount would be enough. I am more of the "All You Can Eat" type of person.
google avatar

Bryan L.

Yelp
So I've been here like 4 times over the month. Originally my first impression was 4.5 to which I would've put 5 stars on Yelp but after my last couple visits it kind of bumped it down to a 4. The last visit I just had to wait a really long time to be served. Pros: really good value and probably one of the more authentic Japanese restaurants. Cons: long wait for service and food.
google avatar

Lilianne N.

Yelp
First time we tried! Very nice and friendly staff! Although we experienced a long wait before getting served. Food was good, however the Tampora dinner was kind of not hot! As it should be, and seemed like it was seating around before it got served, rice was cold and the rolls were tiny! The taste was okay. I was excepting a better experience. I will give it one more chance!

Yelp
One of the best sushi restaurants in Northern VA. My husband and I wanted to go on a date on Saturday night. I'm not an expert of McLean area but apparently this restaurant is local favorite for a long time. I thoroughly enjoyed the food. Very good quality with decent price. I like the welcoming demeanor of servers and main chef. I would highly recommend!

Yelp
Excellent place for affordable comfort Japanese food! It's upstairs of a building which was interesting. The decor is very traditional, but cute! We wanted to get some uni (sea urchin), but they ran out (Sunday night). Our server recommended coming on a Tuesday or Friday when their fish are delivered. We still got to enjoy the Yellowtail Jaw and Broiled Mackerel!! Both came with the refreshing radish and lemon to squeeze. The mackerel was on the saltier side... came with steamed broccoli and rice. My favorite was the yellowtail since it was so light! We also loved the Spicy Scallop Roll. So flavorful and has a nice crunch (tempura)!!!

Yelp
Highly recommend Hokkaido uni A tad sweeter w/ stronger flavor ! Soft Shell Crab is decent/ average & a bit smaller than last time, probably towards end of it's season!

Yelp
It's a family member's birthday celebration, and thanks to our reservation, we avoided the wait during the busy Sunday evening dinner rush. The food and sakes were excellent, with attentive and good service. We ordered dinner boxes 1 and 2, along with the sushi premium, and the desserts were delightfully delicious. Highly recommended!

Yelp
Solid spot for Japanese food. Ordered some fried oysters and scallops to start which were perfectly cooked with a nice crispy outside. For my main entree, I did the katsudon which was also very good. Also managed to snag a yellowtail nigiri which was probably the freshest sushi I've had in awhile. Definitely made me regret not order more sushi. Service was good and no issues parking in their parking lot. Would definitely return if I'm ever in the area again. 'Til next time, cheers!

Yelp
I've been coming here forever to get my sushi fix. This is an authentic Japanese restaurant. You can tell by their long list of unique appetizers. This place still has the best tempura. I recommend to those who want to spend to go for traditional rolls or nigiri ala carte. I got the sashimi lunch and it didn't seem fresh and pieces were small. Bidenomics has shot the price up to $22 as well. Soup but no more sprout salad. Service was a bit slow also. Parking now is also more difficult with Peter Chang's now open downstairs.

Yelp
I came here on Saturday night around 6:30pm with two friends, it was really busy. We've waited about 40 minutes for a table. I don't think they take reservations, so make sure you plan well. The service was great, the food did take a-bit of time to come out probably because they were really busy. I think the quality was very average for the price you pay. From the Egg to the rice it was really sweet and vinegary, the fish was a-bit fishy. The decoration meanwhile was simple yet elegant. Overall I'd come back to give it another when they're not as busy, hopefully it'll be much better next time.
