"Tacos and ramen might seem like an unlikely pair, but this South Street establishment proves they are a match made in heaven. Bringing together American, Mexican, and Japanese cuisines, the menu features a number of playfully fused dishes like the Italian egg roll (think of all the best parts of an Italian hoagie in egg roll form), the shrimp tempura taco (made on a soft corn or flour tortilla with salsa, red cabbage, and eel sauce), and a wide array of ramen dishes (including vegan and vegetarian options)." - George Banks-Weston

"At Taco & Ramen, the appropriately named new combination taco-ramen spot on South Street, you can truly have it all. Every day brings a new special — like vegan taco Wednesday and a combo bubble tea and ramen day on Thursday — for those of us who love a deal." - Dayna Evans

This place has an incredible team of staff who make the experience even more enjoyable. Our kids absolutely loved it! The restaurant features a creative, artistic theme that flows through every corner, with charming art pieces adorning the walls. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it a wonderful spot to relax. The highlight was the delicious soup—it was flavorful and satisfying, adding to the overall delightful visit.

Google
It’s not the best ramen in the city, nor are the tacos. The tacos are an Americanized version, and the ramen noodles weren’t authentic. The ramen was good but not something I’d return for. The service was very friendly, and they were attentive in arranging the tables. Preparation time was reasonable. It can feel a bit cramped unless you’re at a large table. The atmosphere inside is nice, and the décor is lovely. I’m sure it’s more enjoyable in a season other than winter.

Such a great place! Incredible vegan options, amazing service, chill vibes with cute dog decor, AND YOU GET A STICKER! Highly recommend, especially for other vegans/vegetarians!

Such a nice experience and delicious food. It's cute and cozy inside. Nothing fancy, but it's clear that the place was thoughtfully put together, and it feels welcoming. You can tell that they're putting effort into making people want to come back--and I want to. The staff is kind, and the food came out quickly. They also gave us a parting holiday gift! We had two types of ramen and one taco. Let me say, they do flavors right and they do tofu right. The tofu in the tofu taco was cooked perfectly and was a generous serving. Delicious. The vegan spicy kimchi ramen was awesome (which has faux chicken). As was the vegetarian miso ramen (which has tofu and an egg). Both ramens were good portions. The big, blown glass water glasses and generous tea mugs added to the cozy and inviting, hospitable feel. There could have been slightly louder music to add a little more to the ambiance, but I suppose I'd rather a place be too quiet than too loud and hard to have a conversation. Overall, great choice for a tasty meal in a nice but casual setting, with nice staff and good food options. Looking forward to going back!

Google
I always love visiting Taco Ramen! They have the best spring rolls in the city chefs kiss! And the veggie tacos be bussin. Very yummy and intimate place!

Google
Went in for the ramen and got the steamed pork gyoza for starters and I didn’t regret it !! The gyoza and the sauce that came with it were amazing !!! I recommend trying those! The Mayu ramen was also excellent especially the broth. The server was very nice, amazing place

Google
As the name suggests get both ramen and their tacos. A great fusion of Mexican and Asian food. We had their Fried Zucchini and Mushroom Taco, Tofu & Eggplant Taco, Vegan Spicy Kimchi Ramen (recommended), Vegan Tan Tan Ramen. Given Philly with a lot of good vegan options, this is one of the best places.

Google
Not really authentic Ramen but not bad at all. It was tasty! Servers are very kind and fast!

Yelp
Was supper hungry after the Philadelphia Eagles parade. I got a table for 3 and chose this place specifically because I knew it wouldn't be over run by hungry college kids! It's a small spot on south street and when you walk in you immediately feel welcomed! Walls are dark navy blue with cute positive affirmations a long the tables against the walls to your right. It was dim and ambiance was Valentine appropriate! Food: pan fried pork gyoza immaculate! With a cute heart shape carrot. They also have this ginger, garlic oil dipping sauce for the gyoza but she informed me it's for everything! I used this to my advantage with my edamame. Yummy! My Ramen was so so so good! I got tan tan noodles spicy organic ground beef, bamboo shoots scallions bean sprouts. Amazing pork bone broth. I couldn't get enough of this food and how fast and well prepared it was. If you're on South street and hungry for some good Ramen I highly recommend. I didn't get a chance to grab a taco but I have high hopes for it being everything I tasted was so delicious

Quinn H.

Yelp
Good ambiance, a cute little shop that is well decorated Food is just very middle of the road though. This is the second time I came back because I wanted ramen since it was cold and last time I got tacos. I wasn't really impressed either time but I have high standards for ramen and tacos. I ordered the tonkotsu ramen and eggs are not marinated enough, chashu was okay, broth is okay but no depth. The servers were nice

Yelp
Discovered Taco & Ramen last night for dinner with a friend and was pleasantly surprised by the fantastic Shrimp Tempura Tacos, delicious Japanese soda drinks and boba, and yummy ramen. I'm a shrimp tempura lover and will be back for the tacos! The environment of the restaurant itself is very cozy and cute inside! Great for a hangout or date. I was also pleasantly surprised by the holiday goodie bags they handed out for free--I've never encountered that type of customer appreciation and thoughtfulness. It had a cute Japanese keychain and dum dums inside. For me, 5 stars!

Janet C.

Yelp
We tried the mayu ramen and spicy kimchi ramen which were both quite good. The spicy kimchi ramen is not super spicy so there's no need to worry in terms of spice tolerance. I'm not the biggest fan of their egg - the yolk part seemed sort of solid and chunky at parts so maybe slightly overdone? Shrimp tempura taco was as expected. Service was quick.

Heather C.

Yelp
We called ahead on Valentine's day a half hour before and were seated right when we arrived for 3 of us. It's a small dining area but I felt it was cozy and beautifully decorated. We were given menus and our orders taken right away. They have all different kinds of ramen but I expected more of a selection of tacos since its in the name. I ordered the pork gyoza and the traditional ramen. We all had hot ginger tea to drink since they do not serve alcohol. The tea is served in the cutest mugs! The gyoza came out with this sauce to dip we loved with garlic and ginger. My friend ordered edamame and dipped it in the sauce too. The ramen was huge and delicious! The waitress was very attentive. I would definitely come back when Im in the area for a warm comforting meal.

Thuy H.

Yelp
The shrimp tacos we had were so delicious, that we ended up getting another order at the end. However, we really only ordered the 2nd order bc our ramen really lacked protein. The ramen that my husband and kids ordered has 2 extremely thin sliced of pork in it and mine had maybe a tbsp of the ground meat in it. It also really lacked different types of veggies that most ramen places provide (corn, bamboo, mushrooms, etc). Don't get me wrong, the broth itself was delicious though. I just really wish I got more than mostly noodles and bean sprouts. Service was really nice. She came often and made sure our waters were constantly filled.

Finn B.

Yelp
The perfect place to go when your group can't decide on a cuisine! Just like the name says, this restaurant has a wide selection of tacos AND ramen! They have a lot of vegetarian options as well, and the spring rolls are one of my favorite items. I did not get a picture since i ate them instantly.... The restaurant itself is cozy. It can only seat maybe 25 people, so don't come with a big group. But it's perfect for a date night or group of 4.

Yelp
A clean, modern space off the calamity that can be South Street, Taco & Ramen offers authentic flavors with positivity (you'll see when you get here what I mean by positive uplift). Fun music and relaxed ambience for a Friday lunch. For those also sensitive to or allergic to gluten: While the menu currently doesn't state it, there are gluten free taco options here. You can get a triple taco meal with soft corn tortilla and sautéed (not fried) options like shrimp, zucchini and/or mushrooms with a gluten free sauce. The staff are very friendly, approachable and caring about your dining experience. They're still investigating the best version of a gluten free noodle for ramen that is healthy for digestion. The fact that they care shows the chef's integrity and pride in the food they serve. And the boba is spot on. They know what they're doing.

Mollie M.

Yelp
This place was SOOO cute. The stairs down to the bathroom were plastered with dog and cat cartoons. These people love tacos ramen dogs and cats. Who says these things shouldn't go together??? The food was very good. We both got ramen. Though admittedly I don't remember which is one, only that I added corn. My husband got the coffee boba with bubbles and coffee jellies and that was interesting. The waitress was super nice. I fully recommend this restaurant unless you have a mobility problem... Because the bathroom is downstairs and you WILL have to pee after boba and ramen. Maybe get the taco if you have to find other pee arrangements?

Christopher B.

Yelp
Randomly popped into Taco & Ramen because I heard they had some good eats. Great spot for a quick bite. Had a few shrimp tacos and eggrolls. Taco was really a highlight. Spicy Mayo brought everything together. Service was excellent. Had a good time chatting with servers. I'll have to drop back in for some ramen.

Lillie A.

Yelp
My partner and I were looking to try a new spot on South Street and found Taco & Ramen on Yelp and immediately walked over. The shop is decorated with cute dog-themed art, which was a very welcome surprise. My partner got their gyudon and said it was great and described it as "perfect comfort food". I had the shoyu ramen and really enjoyed it- the broth was delicious, the noodles were cooked perfectly, but the pork was a little tough for my liking. We cannot wait to come back and explore the menu more!

Mary W.

Yelp
Excellent shrimp tacos and vegan ramen. The regular ramen is also delicious. Its BYOB which is a bonus

Suf L.

Yelp
Cute spot on South St, decorated with a lot of dog pictures / signs and comfy chairs. The menu is vegetarian and vegan friendly, with options clearly noted. It's like a fancy fast casual restaurant with the kitchen sectioned off in the back. We had shrimp tempura and tofu/eggplant tacos, and they were lightly tempura battered. They were tasty, but we thought they could use some slaw. The ramens were also large and pretty good. I didn't see fish cake add ons, which made me a little sad. I'd be interested in trying more kinds of tacos and apps next time. With the appetizer + 2 ramens and 2 individual tacos, it only came out to like $60, which isn't so bad, and the service was QUICK. We were in and out in an hour.

Minaz M.

Yelp
First off those working here are SUPER NICE!!!!! They gave my toddler a pack of chocolates with stickers before we left :) The food was awesome! First time trying ramen and I loved it... it's a cute cozy place on south street in Philly. I tried the Masu I think that's what it's called. Pork broth. It was good, even my toddler enjoyed it.

Bill M.

Yelp
I obviously came here because I was craving falafel & borscht.... I kid, I kid. But one thing I'm not kidding about is tacos and ramen being among two of my favorite food dishes ever, so when I saw them combined in one restaurant I was instantly intrigued and ready to indulge. Still I had my uncertainities when it came to trying to figure out if this would be a successful fusion of the two, or a fusion confusion that failed while trying to bank on putting two viral foods together. But after first bite I'm happy to call this one a winner! With tacos and ramen you definitely expect to see a lot of meat-heavy items on the menu, and their were indeed some notable staples. But it was also good to see a plentiful assortment of vegan and vegetarian options making a good spot to share with thse friends. I also appreciated that tacos could be ordered by the single or trio, making it easy to combo up with a bowl of ramen to satisfy your curiosity of both. For tacos, a birria special and a grilled chicken taco were the only familiar options that you'd expect to see. But I appreciated the Asian fusion of the shrimp tempura taco and loved that it was the vegetarian tacos that really shined and the fried zucchini and mushroom taco that I ordered was a serious banger! For ramen, I was craving something familiar with an extra kick, and the spicy kimchi ramen with charsu roast pork, a seasoned boiled egg and all the veggies delivered that and then some! T & R also has bubble tea on the menu, and the honeydew option was the perfect thing to wash it down with. Toss in the usual Asian apps like takoyaki and gyoza, and interesting options like an Italian egg roll with all the hoagie fillings, and you have plenty to enjoy!

J V.

Yelp
It was really good ramen. The tacos were fun too. Service was on point. Prices were fair and I will be returning soon. Great little spot.

Margaret B.

Yelp
Years later my family and I still visit this neighborhood spot. They enjoy the big bowls of ramen while I love the shrimp tempura tacos. The service is fast and friendly.

Jade J.

Yelp
Insanely good. The service was phenomenal. I had reasonable expectations coming in and this was the best ramen I've had since being in Japan. The tacos were so fresh and were full of flavor. If you don't go here, you're missing out big time. We ordered basically whole menu and nothing disappointed!

Dario S.

Yelp
Service is friendly and attentive. Tacos were decent, but the Ramen was the true hero, super delicious with great options and modifications. Cute little mom & pop ambiance.

Jackie M.

Yelp
Really enjoyed my meal here with friends. We came on a Monday around 6/6:30. This was a perfect time because we were able to grab a table. By 7 there was a 30 minute wait! I love that this place has a ton of vegan/vegetarian options while also catering to meat eaters. I ordered the vegetarian spicy ramen and an almond milk bubble tea. My friend ended up getting some tacos and my husband also got ramen. The food came out quickly and the service was attentive and friendly. They were very accomodating considering my friend had a wheelchair. My ramen was delicious and I like that they give you condiments to customize your spicy level. I will definitely be back (especially if i need a meal before going to the TLA down the block).

Heather L.

Yelp
Found this place by accident looking for food near the TLA on south street. They were able to seat three right away even though it's a relatively small space inside. Service was great and the food was too. I got the shrimp tempura taco (which is recommended on the menu and I can see why - would definitely go back for more), the spicy kimchi ramen - good broth and lots of accoutrements and the table shared and order of takoyaki. Would definitely go back!

Jack M.

Yelp
Service was kind and prompt. I think the current online ratings are overstating this place, and likely because they have both Mexican and Japanese. Raters reward variety. The shrimp tempura tacos were good. The shrimp could have been crunchier. But the composition was good with the toppings and spicy mayo. The Mayu Ramen was OK, but not incredible. I found the broth too be flavorful, but not intensely so. The charsiu pork was a bit chewy and not perfectly tender. Overall, I think the food is good, but not incredible. If you want to be able to order both Mexican and Japanese, this is not a bad choice.

Jim R.

Yelp
Small cute place on South Street offering two completely different tastes - as can be seen by its name We both went with Ramen. They were similar as to what was in them (pork - bean sprouts etc) but the broths and some minor items were different. One broth was pork, the other chicken and the tastes were different as well as very good. There are a choice of 6 ramens with the last two noted as spicy. We had #'s 3 & 4. With a very good hot Honey Citrus & Ginger Tea and a soda the bill before tax and tip was around $33.00. Worth checking out if you're in the area.

Natalie M.

Yelp
I ordered the recommended mayu ramen which turned out to be a great choice because the broth was soooo good! They even put chili pepper and chili oil on the table so you can make it as spicy as you want. The portion size is pretty fair - I was pretty full and did not have any leftovers (which was exactly what I wanted because I didn't want to carry around leftovers the rest of the day). Inside is very cute and clean (including the restrooms). Service was fast and friendly.

Sarah A.

Yelp
The thing I appreciate most about Taco & Ramen is that it has something for most people: soup, salad, tacos, ramen, all with vegetarian and some vegan options. We started with the Italian Egg Roll (homemade Italian hoagie egg roll with spicy mayo), which was interesting and tasty. I greatly enjoyed the Tofu & Eggplant Taco (soft flour tortilla, fried tofu, fried eggplant, fresh salsa, red cabbage, sweet onion sauce, cilantro, vegan spicy mayo). My fellow diner wished the Shrimp Tempura Taco (soft corn tortilla, fried shrimp tempura, fresh salsa, red cabbage, cilantro, eel sauce, spicy mayo) had a bit more zing. Overall, nice taco offerings, but not the best tacos you're going to get in the city. Likewise with the ramen: I enjoyed the Spicy Kimchi Ramen (spicy miso and pork bone broth, kimchi, roasted pork (chashu), bamboo shoots, bean sprouts, chopped scallion, sesame seeds, seasoned boiled egg), especially the seasoned egg, which they nailed (not always a given at ramen shops!) and the chashu and kimchi was delicious, but I wanted it to be spicier (yes, I added the spicy oil, etc.). My fellow diner enjoyed the Tan Tan Ramen (spicy pork broth with miso sesame paste, spicy organic ground beef, bean sprouts, bok choy, sesame seeds, chopped scallion, seasoned boiled egg), but thought the beef overpowered the bowl. Overall, nice ramen offerings, but not the best ramen you're going to get in the city. That said, service was lovely and prompt.

Chaunna H.

Yelp
The ramen was okay but disappointing. There were far too many scallions. I could barely take a bite without a mouthful of them. It was like an equal amount of scallions as there were noodles. It made the experience less enjoyable. The broth was okay. The whole dish felt incomplete like it was missing something. The tacos I had were pretty good though. I had the eggplant & mushroom taco and the shrimp tempura taco. I'm unlikely to come back for the Ramen.

Ellen L.

Yelp
Such unique and flavorful tacos. Service was attentive and did a great job with getting an accurate order for our large group. Can't wait to go back!

Tiffany M.

Yelp
I had a wonderful time at Taco & Ramen. We stumbled upon it after a Paint with a Twist session and what a great decision it was! Upon entering, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. They seated all 6 of us and were open about splitting the checks in groups of 2. Our appetizers were absolutely delicious and came with tasty sauces. We all ordered Gyoza and the spicy chicken bites. For entrees, everyone ordered their own specific ramen. I ordered the Mayu Ramen and WOW! I would go back and order it again. Extremely flavorful and hearty. The noodles were cooked to perfection. No complaints. Grateful as well that the staff was open to me cutting a birthday cake. Will definitely be returning.

Jo L.

Yelp
FOOD I came here around 1 p.m. to meet up with friends for lunch and were seated immediately. We ordered the grilled chicken tacos, the mayu ramen, and the avocado salad with fried tofu. All of them were delicious, fresh, and filling for the given price point. The tacos had the option of a flour or corn tortilla with the staff recommending the flour over corn. The chicken was flavorful and the toppings paired well. I'd definitely come back if I was looking for a casual dine-in. DRINKS We also ordered the peach and taro bubble teas. The bubbles were a little mushy and the only other complaint was that the tea was a little farther on the sweeter side for my liking. When returning, I would definitely ask if the sweetness could be adjusted. SERVICE The staff here are very kind and attentive. We took a bit longer than usual to order as we were catching up, but they were more than patient. Our orders also came out within 15-20 minutes upon ordering. AMBIANCE The interior is modern and decorative with Latin art and a community poster wall. Asian decor lines the back of the restaurant as well. The music isn't too loud, and it doesn't get too loud inside either. PARKING Paid street parking is available at a limited capacity.

Jenny T.

Yelp
My friends and I stumbled upon here while walking around on the waitlist for a restaurant nearby. Being starved, we decided to eat here instead. It is quaint restaurant with typical Japanese decor I'd expect for a ramen shop except this ramen shop also has tacos. Food: My friends and I each decided to order a taco and a ramen, as the name suggests. I absolutely love how they have plenty of vegan/vegetarian options for both tacos and the ramens. I ordered the fried mushroom & zucchini taco and the vegan miso ramen. The taco was absolutely delicious. I would come back for the taco alone. The vegan miso ramen was good, but I've had more enticing vegan ramens if I'm being honest. Service: The restaurant is small and has a small crew. However, the servers were friendly and we were never waiting too long for anything. Our tacos came out first, then our ramen. TL;DR - it's all in the name, get both while you're here.

Smileey F.

Yelp
Out-of-town-er review of vegan take away -Ramen and dumplings are good, the tacos are a fun idea but could easily be skipped - Everything was packaged well, no leaks and lots of utensils and napkins - Friendly and quick service - Looks like people enjoy themselves for dine in, relaxed environment

Jo L.

Yelp
Tan Tan ramen was good. The noodle texture was good. I like the bamboo shoots. The egg was a little bit overcooked. Noodle portion size was smaller than most places which was perfect for me.

Aimee H.

Yelp
So yummy! Nice atmosphere, very cozy and good service :) Can't wait to come back so i can try the tacos next!

Dawn W.

Yelp
Even though I live right near this place, I didn't check it out until recently. I felt that I needed to try both tacos & ramen due to the name. I ordered the recommended item under tacos, the Shrimp Tempura Taco. They were delicious and were made exactly to my order due to some dietary restrictions. I also ordered the Shoyu Ramen which was also made exactly to my request and also delicious. Lastly, I got the mango green tea and I didn't love the lychee jelly in it but the staff told me before I left that it can be ordered without, so that was a big plus. The only reason it is 4 stars is because the restaurant itself gets loud and I wasn't really able to hear our server. But overall, the food is delicious and the decor is simple but cute, so I would just suggest going at a less busy time to possibly get the best experience.

Sandy S.

Yelp
I had the kimchi ramen and a tofu and eggplant taco. The kimchi ramen was somewhat disappointing, where the broth was flavorful and thick, but there was practically no kimchi flavor. I also tried my friend's sesame ramen, which I also do not recommend as it is quite heavy and tastes very strongly of sesame (unless you like that). I would get the tonkatsu or miso ramen, as those highlight the quality of the broth enough. The tacos were very veg-friendly and tasty, but they are fairly small, so treat them like appetizers and order a ramen to get the most value.

Melody N.

Yelp
slid into this cute little place to grab a bite and i'm so glad I did! this place is AMAZING 10/10 best miso ramen i've ever had and the shrimp tempura taco was out of this world and the service was top tier will definetly be back

Allison B.

Yelp
The name says it all: tacos and ramen. Easy simple delicious. Finally came here last night and it did not disappoint. We HAD to get that shrimp tempura taco and we're pleased ordering one or two instead of three was an option because it was really just to try. So we got 2 of those and they were Huge!!! So good too I would definitely order 3 next time as my entree and be full. They're massive and so freaking good. But we each tried the Mayu Ramen dish which is their recommendation. It was very good and a good portion size ! Worth the price and even came with chili powder without having to ask. How did they know we needdddd Chilli powder or oil for our ramen? We hate Ramen without spice (do it right or don't do it at all right?). So pleased with the service really sweet people. Ming was great. We also got taro boba teas and they were so cool and cute! I want more lol.

M B.

Yelp
Excellent service as well as food. I would like to see them offer a dessert or two of their own making.

KhanhMy V.

Yelp
Love this cute and trendy ramen and taco restaurant with surprisedly delicious bubble tea. I usually only get my milk tea at a bubble tea place. As for fruit smoothie, only at bubble tea places or Vietnamese restaurants. Taco and Ramen is very promising for bubble tea and fresh fruit smoothies. Taco and ramen are good. I also had takoyaki, which was also good. My only issue is that the takoyaki and ramen didn't come out burning hot. I like my hot food really hot especially broth items. Overall, I had a good time and would totally come back here again. P.S. I love the vegetarian and vegan options. :)

Royce D.

Yelp
This restaurant is the perfect place for a quick bite, whether you are craving tacos or Ramen, and they are pet friendly indoors! My friends and I went here for Saturday lunch and they had plenty of seating. We got multiple bowls of Ramen, tacos, and boba tea. Everything was delicious! My favorite was the tonkatsu ramen and the crispy chicken tacos. It is amazing this place does three distinct things (ramen, tacos, boba) and does them all well. The prices were reasonable, and the indoor decor was very cute with lots of dog art. :) Would definitely recommend!

Magnolia M.

Yelp
You never know what you're walking into when a place serves tacos AND ramen. But I've got to give it to Taco & Ramen, the food was a hit! Fast service on Friday night. This taco/ramen spot is located on South St. The shrimp tempura tacos are tasty and while the "spicy ramen" isn't very spicy, I loved the umami flavor. A surprisingly harmonious combination!

Artaysia P.

Yelp
I was actually going to get takeout but then i saw how cute and cozy the restaurant is; i got jasmine green tea & the tantan ramen, the tea was SOO good and the broth of the ramen was rich in my opinion. I felt like i was in my own room, the ambiance was so comfortable i'd definitely stop by again when im in the area. However, my comfort ended when two ignorant, and clearly broke, people began to loudly complain about the prices whilst continuing to eat their food which made me leave, but all in all it was a really pleasant experience. The server, Ming, was very nice as well and attentive.

Nicholas L.

Yelp
Amazing Boba, comfortable seats, relaxing atmosphere, and amazing food! Parking outside was relatively simple as well, but you have to download an app. Service was really fast and I can't recommend this restaurant more.

Joyce W.

Yelp
Went here today for lunch with some Vegan family members. I am not vegan but I had the 3 Flour tacos with fried zucchini and mushrooms. With the sauce and vegetable topping, this was like an Asian taco. So much flavor, juicy, crunchy with a tiny bit of spiciness. Absolutely delicious! Wasn't expecting to love it so much. Mango bubble tea was fantastic too. Prices were just a bit higher than expected, but with the yummy food and excellent, friendly customer service, we will definitely be back again!

Brendan T.

Yelp
Cool homey fusion concept. Ordered the: Pulled Pork Taco- Savory slow cooked pork shoulder topped with onion and cilantros Shrimp Tempura Taco- Sweet and spicy taco mashup featuring shrimp tempura, salsa, Red cabbages, eel sauce and spicy mayo Mayu Ramen- A pork bone broth with mayu oil (Dark Roasted Leek with Crushed Garlic Oil), with roasted pork, bamboo shoots, bean sprouts, roasted seaweed, chopped scallion, sesame seeds, crispy garlic chips Everything was bussin. The service was friendly and the vibe was chill. A group of friends and I literally spent a few hours just talking and eating at this South Street gem. Pull up.

Komal R.

Yelp
I am disappointed to be in the minority but I wasn't impressed at all by the food. We went yesterday for dinner and tried the Fried chicken bites, Tan Tan Ramen and Eggplant/Tofu tacos. Fried chicken bites were just okay and I wasn't wowed by the Eggplant/Tofu tacos even though they tasted fresh. The most disappointment dish was the Tan Tan Ramen. It is supposed to be creamy and spicy but it was none of the above and simply lacked in any flavor. We actually brought it home, added some spices and peanut butter to make it taste better. If you ever had the same from Terakawa in Chinatown, you would totally know what I am talking about. I won't be coming back.

Joshua N.

Yelp
This has to be a hidden spot of the year. I stumbled upon Taco & Ramen looking for a taco spot and this place has 5 stars. I thought "it can't be that good". Let me tell you, IT'S THAT GOOD!! The service was amazing, the people are so nice. Also the decor and ambiance of the place is so cool. I've eaten at many ramen places, I would put this somewhere in my top 5.

Lisa Y.

Yelp
A great place for bubble tea, yummy appetizers and tacos! We had the takoyaki, spring rolls, tempura shrimp taco and grilled chicken taco. To drink we had a honeydew melon bubble tea and salted caramel bubble tea. This was the perfect place to stop by after a long walk and viewing nearby Magic Gardens. The service was excellent. Our server was courteous and professional. The food was made to order and it was hot and delicious. The drinks were refreshing. Sometimes it can be hit or miss when you just randomly choose a place while walking past. Don't walk past this place it is too yummy to miss.

Carl H.

Yelp
Wonderful restaurant with attentive staff, great food, and clean, fun (see photo!) bathrooms on South street. We drove into town and couldn't yet check in to our room, and we found taco and ramen. I'm so glad we happened upon it and it was open on Monday! (We found a lot of restaurants are now closed Monday and Tuesday in Philadelphia) The food was fresh, good portions, great flavors, reasonably priced, and prepared quickly. If you're in the area, definitely stop by Taco and Ramen.
