Went here on Friday evening with family for casual dinner. You order/pick up at a counter. The cashier at the counter was friendly and made recommendations for my little children. Since we found a seat close to pick up stations, servers delivered our food to the table and approached us for small talks. They were all very nice people. We started with beef, grilled chicken, and shrimp tacos. We loved all three of them and ordered more. We added rice and beans, street corn, quesadillas, and fried rolls with salad (It was a happy hour menu). All of them tasted great and my 3-year old loved the quesadilla. It can be hard to find seating, especially inside, but there are seats outside too. I would come back here for quick lunch/dinner or even do a takeout.

Google
Really good taco place in Vienna. It gets pretty crowded at lunch time so be prepared to sit at a bar, but the menu was very vast and the tacos were very tasty. Highly recommend the trashy style tacos!

Google
Such amazing flavors and freshness! Very reasonable prices and nice variety on the menu. Quick service.

Google
Taco Bamba in Vienna is a solid local taco joint that delivers on flavor and consistency. I stop by every now and then, and it never really disappoints. The food is flavorful, creative, and hits the spot—whether you’re in for a quick bite or a casual sit-down. The staff is usually on point—friendly and fast, and they manage the crowd well during busy hours. It’s not a fancy dine-in experience, but the atmosphere is lively and energetic, perfect for a quick lunch or casual dinner. If you like trying out tacos with a twist, their rotating specials can be a nice surprise. Pros: - Tasty, inventive tacos - Quick service - Good vibe and reliable quality Cons: - Gets busy during peak times - Limited seating during rush hours Definitely for a local go-to spot.

Google
Never had a bad taco from any Taco Bamba. Best taco's you can get in the DMV and the prices are good for what you are getting.

i ordered some tacos here their servings are uneven, most of them barely have any meat. the taco bamba in braddock rd. is a lot better.

Google
Overall good service and good I got oh my god squash taco with pita bread and Mexican street corn. My husband got mushroom taco. The squash taco was okish , sweet and lacked flavoring. Corn and mushroom tacos were really good. Overall good food. The place also has pretty good vibe. Just remember all taco bamba place always play loud music so it’s hard to talk to people on your table.

Yelp
Everything was great today. We were greeted on our way in which felt great as you can't buy good customer service. The cashier recommended the feature taco,"Butter Chicken" and I must say it was a mixture of flavors, seasoned well, & hands down the best taco I have ever had. I had an El Gringo & it met my expectations too! Hate I didn't get more tacos to go. Next time I'm in the area I will be stopping by!

Yelp
I've now been to Taco Bamba three times, each at this location. My first visit was April 16th, 2024 with my fiancée who I had just proposed to on April 6th! We went before a Tuesday night prayer meeting that we regularly attend with her sister and another friend of ours. This time only my fiancée and I were free for the night so we made a date out of it. It only seemed right to have tacos on a Tuesday! My fiancee had been here before but it was my first time. She said I must try the camaron (shrimp) taco and a street style taco. I ordered one shrimp taco, one street style pollo taco and one carne asada taco. She had a shrimp taco and a carne asada taco as well. We shared rice and beans and chip with guac. I loved it! Tacos are one of our favorite foods and these did not disappoint. The weather was nice so we sat outside, but also because the music played inside is pretty loud (not that it bothered us). As you can she from the picture fiancee was pretty happy. Our date night went great! I was so pleased with this place that I jumped at the next opportunity to bring someone here. I was back in Vienna for a Christian hip hop concert on April 27th with my friend Miciah. We stopped at Taco Bamba before the concert. I ordered 2 tacos, chips and guac. Miciah had nachos and one taco. We were both pleased with our food. We sat at the indoor counter and ate. From this view we could watch the crew prepare other orders for customers and gain an appreciation for the effort they put in to quality service. My latest visit was on Tuesday August 27th with my fiancee, her sister and our friend Ki. We stopped for dinner before the Tuesday prayer meeting we attend at Whole Word Fellowship church. Ki and I ordered wings, my fiancee and her sister had tacos and I also ordered 1 street style carne asada taco. I was happy to return after a few months. The food was just as good as I remembered. The wings were just how I like them! Unfortunately I didn't take pictures of this latest visit. I'm sure I'll be back very soon I've had nothing but positive experiences at this Taco Bamba and I look forward to coming back and likely trying out other locations.

Yelp
Overrated. HIGHLY overrated. Sorry to have to say. :( At least I finally got a chance to try a Taco Bamba because I've driven by many locations for years (!!) and just have never been in the right place at the right time when a street taco craving has hit me. Every time I drive by though, I observe crowds of customers enjoying their meals in what looks to be a pretty hip and happenin' setting. But finally it happened - a taco craving as I was running errands in downtown Vienna. Finally my chance to see what all the hype was about. Honestly....after trying it that day....still scratching my head why this place is rated so highly. :( LOCATION: Great location in the Vienna Shopping Center (corner of Maple & Lawyers) where the old Magruder's used to be. Foster's Grill still there; MOD Pizza next door, across Maple from Money & King funeral home - far enough down from the heart of old town Vienna not to be a traffic nuisance. AMBIANCE: I did like the interior ambiance, vibe and decor of the place. No issues there. It was neat and clean and well cared for. Lots of open seating with tables spaced nicely apart, not cramped. Order and pay at the back of the restaurant, find a seat and wait for your order to be called. I liked it not being full service. There's also an outside covered "patio" seating area overlooking the beautiful parking lot lol but hey, it is what it is. MENU: I took pics of all the menu sign boards so check them out. There's a pretty wide selection of things to order - from traditional to specialty tacos to other light-type Mexican fare including quesadillas, street corn, chips & queso (more on that later) and guac. They even have a bfast menu. I like that you can order tacos a la carte without having to commit to a platter or combo meal. We were a party of 2 - I ordered a single specialty taco and my buddy ordered a chicken quesadilla. We shared chips & queso (as I said, more on that later) - we didn't have to break the bank for lunch. Oh - full bar with cocktails, beer and wine served - so that's nice. PRICES: Generally, not break the bank prices though some items do get up there. Decent / okay prices for being able to order a la carte. Check out my menu pics for prices. But....even with not break the bank prices, you be the judge - is the food you get worth the price - even if you're not shelling out huge big bucks. I say no. :( FOOD TASTE / QUALITY: I don't doubt the ingredients are fresh. I just wasn't enamored with the taste and flavor combos of the food we ordered. And we ordered pretty basic, hard-to-get-wrong items. The fried shrimp taco, though beautifully presented, was just meh. The fried shrimp weren't piping hot and the combo of flavors in the taco was...weird. The chicken quesadilla was meh. TB, stop trying to be too cute or avant garde or fusion with your menu. And as for the chips & queso, the chips were fine but the queso! Oh the poor rubbery, congealed, room temp (!!) glob of queso in the smallest of plastic containers. HORRIBLE. Disgraceful. So bad in fact I hadddddd to take a video of it - check it out. Queso here is a HARD PASS until they have the decency to not sell it and pass it off as quality food. smh. Throwback to when Chipotle started selling queso and got meme-ed for their fail. I mean, Taco Bell's queso beats TB's. Okay okay enough enough - you get it. Buyer beware. Taco Bamba does have SOME things going for it and it IS a trendy casual spot to grab some subpar food masquerading as trendy mex-fusion (nice try) and to throw back a few cocktails or beers in a relaxed setting. So in that sense, this place serves a purpose. But imo I wouldn't come here for the food. (If you ARE looking for creative yummy Mexican street tacos for similar a la carte prices as TB, my go-to still remains Senor Ramon's.)

Yelp
I love this place (although I have only been twice) -- Last day of school I stopped by for celebratory tacos and a beer. The Oh My Squash is my FAVORITE taco of all time. I love the goat cheese and the squash --- Sat at the bar, enjoyed a beer and tacos and toasted to the summer starting!

Yelp
This might be my favorite Taco Bamba location so far. This one almost always had parking and the shopping center isn't ever too busy. The staff has been very friendly and in some cases delivers the food to your table for you. Also probably a great amount of seating/space. The menu has changed a good amount since they last opened but it's always pretty consistent quality wise no matter what it is. Most recently I've been loving their Meadowlark Calamari, Bulgogi Bullfight and Palestinian Chicken tacos. All flavor, big portions, and just delicious across the board. I'll probably be back within the next two weeks.

Yelp
This place is so amazing! One of my favorites if NOT favorite place to go! I have been coming here for years and their food never disappoints! it is definitely my go to place! The service is also always REALLY good here! They are usually fast and prompt! Their fungi nachos are absolutley AMAZINGGG! As for the rest of the menu, they have a wide array of tacos with so many different kinds of meats and so many toppings to accomodate a variety of different dietary needs! I would recommend the spicy shroom taco! amazing! I have been getting it for years!! It is esentially the fungi nachos in taco form! The ambiance is pretty cool! It is pretty unique not like anywhere else you have been before!

Yelp
I love this place!! Everything I've ever ordered tastes delicious! My favorite is the chicken quesadilla and the Arabe taco. The quesadilla is juicy and has the perfect amount of cheese. The Arabe taco is sort of Mediterranean style and has a nice sauce that goes on top. I also really like ordering any type of fish taco too. I've tried the shrimp and I do think the shrimp taco can be a little dry. Another one of my go to orders is a carne asada taco dirty style. They have different types of sauces you can choose from at their sauce bar. All the sauces taste great and help the drier tacos taste better. They also have a bar so you can order drinks as well! It does get super busy, especially on the weekends or during dinner. It can be hard to find seating inside. Overall the restaurant has a casual vibe. I will say the music can be quite loud. The service here is amazing every time. If my order is ever messed up they fix it quickly. I've never had any issues with the service here. I knocked one star off only because the music can be too loud, but overall I highly recommend trying this place out if you're in the mood for Mexican food! I'm not sure how authentic it is but overall the food here tastes great

Yelp
The food is great! I love eating the arabe, and my kids love the steak tacos. The quality of the food is also great!

Yelp
Not a great experience. Very disappointed. Food took too long ( I was on my lunch break). Guy that took the order only ordered one taco instead of three, as I requested. I waited for 45 mins total. Carne Asada tacos "street style" are covered in ketchup. Tasted like a greasy steak and cheese sub. I threw them In the trash, where they belong.

Yelp
I can't believe I've never reviewed this place. It's by far my favorite Mexican place. The spicy shroom tacos are absolutely incredible, and the Palestinian chicken is amazing. I'm also a big fan of the Barbacoa quesadilla. Really you can't go wrong here. So much amazing stuff on the menu. Highly recommended!!! PS - I see a few negative reviews and I have no idea what these people are talking about. I've been here dozens of times and NEVER had a bad meal. Probably the worst thing that ever happens is maybe the Barbacoa might get a little dry? But that's rare, and the abundance of salsa they have more than make up for it when that happens. Give this place a try!

Mary

Yelp
Delicious taco served with Mexican coke. Love it. We come here occasionally with our fam

Yelp
Very good tacos,Pollo Al carbon is my favorite. The music is very good.Very calm people, and I like how they sometimes bring the food to your table.

Yelp
Way too salty. Every taco just seems to be coated in salt to the point where you cannot even taste the actual meat's flavor. Chips and guac are pretty good, but tacos are not great at all. After my most recent meal here, I felt so sick and nauseous from the overload of salt mixed with oil mixed with spice- it's just too much. I really wished I liked this place seeing how popular it is, but it just doesn't live up to expectations.

Yelp
Taco Bamba in Vienna. First and foremost, this place is freaking popular in the area bc the parking lot is always packed. With that being said, they have some great tacos. Some better than others but the menu is so diverse that it's hard to really get to try all of them unless you go like four separate times. With that being said, they get a good number of customers for happy hour too. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and a sauce bar for spicy sauces for your tacos. It's a self service style restaurant so it's pretty casual. I've yet to try all of the different tacos but so far I haven't been disappointed with most of the ones I have tried!
google avatar

Yelp
The most tasty taco tried - the fish and camarones taco. The spicy shrimp was VERY spicy. Nice juice selection which tasted fresh. My main complaint for this place is ow loud the music was. You couldn't hear anyone else speak and it made it tough to visit this location with our baby (she normally doesn't mind noise but this music was so loud I needed to use her ear muffs to block out the music). The people were friendly enough though and the cashier was helpful. Not sure we will ever go back except for take out due to the overly loud music leading to a bit so pleasant atmosphere. Good music choice though!

Yelp
Been to taco bamba a couple of times but this time was the best experience ever! We went in the morning around brunch time and it's not crowded. You can inside or outside, it was nice weather so we chose to sit ourside. Got myself a hibiscus margarita, beef tongue, taco bamba taco . Portion was enough and the drink, the drink was AMAZINGGG! Love the look but also love the taste. My favorite dish was the beef tongue with some of the spiciest salsa on it and you are set! Took about 10 minutes for all our food to come out which is pretty quick. Service by Jarel was great!

Yelp
Interesting, tasty, fresh food. Reliable every time. I always feel that I'm getting what I want. And I love supporting this local business - glad to see it expanding! (Bring back Aquaman chips, please!).

Yelp
Loved all of the tacos we tried - especially the goat birria and lengua because they are so unique for a chain. The tacos were well filled and I loved the salsa bar for added flavor. Also tried horchata which wasn't the best I've ever had but was good in a pinch. The service was pretty fast and the restaurant seemed to operate like a well oiled machine - it was crowded but our food came out quickly. I will say the restaurant is fairly small, but it does have a full bar and outdoor seating. But we decided to get our food to go because as soon as we walked Metallica was absolutely blasting and it would have been unpleasant to stay to eat. I'd like to come back and check out the bar but it'll definitely be dependent on music choice if it's as loud as it was. Honestly the only reason I can't give 5 stars!

Yelp
How is it possible I haven't reviewed this place? I feel like I eat here both as often as possible and not nearly enough. For the most part, we order online and pick up ... but a couple of times we've eaten there. The food: absolutely stellar. The variety of taco (and other) options are seemingly endless so it's totally worth coming back and exploring the menu. I seem to be particularly drawn to their namesake taco ... three of those paired with the dark red salsa it really hits the spot. The rest of my family seems to prefer the two-taco and some chips & guac approach. As side note, I prefer flour to corn tortillas so I always swap them out. I'm glad they have the option. One other recommendation I have is their sangria. Sometimes (admittedly this has been inconsistent) it comes with some fruit that you can toss in your glass at home. I don't know what they put in the thing but wow does it hit the spot. Finally I would be remiss if I didn't mention they have catering as well. We've found it works really well for parties at the house, kids events, etc. There are several packages to choose from and it's easy to get a selection of options that will disappear in no time.

Yelp
Taco Bamba is pretty good, but not anything special. We ordered three different tacos (i.e., taco bamba, el gringo, and sweet 'meen') and a chicken quesadilla for around $26 total. The tacos were average honestly. They weren't anything special and didn't live up to the hype that I was expecting them to be. The flavors didn't really work that well, and they tasted strange to me. My favorite taco was the sweet 'meen' out of all of them, but I did not find them worth it at $4.50 per taco. On the other hand, the chicken quesadilla is pretty good. It really satisfies all of your cravings and is great when paired with the variety of salsas. But again, the value is debatable. One quesadilla will probably cost you around $8-9, and for me, I would just go home and cook my own quesadilla. Very good, but not worth it. Overall, a place to try just to try. It's a good place if you want tacos right away, but you should just cook your own.

Yelp
Ooooooo baby these tacos are SO good. Great eclectic menu and mastery of both classic and creative creations! Love the cutie salsa/sauce bar and appreciate the vegetarian options that are incorporated into the menu as thoughtfully as the meat and fish options. I was HUNGRY and went with a pescado taco, a squash taco, and the titular taco: Taco Bamba. I think the fish taco ended up being my favorite, but really they were all simply delightful. I don't think you can go wrong with anything you order, though I recommend trying at least one from the "staple" menu and one from the more out of the box side. It is rare that places do both really well and Taco Bamba hits the mark. This location was not super busy when I went at ~3pm and I would love to go again and try one of the gigantic tortas. Don't skip this spot!

Yelp
I love Taco Bamba -- every time I come home to visit my parents I insist we go there because the tacos honestly are some of the best I've had (which is crazy for a "chain"). I always get the barbacoa tacos & then the mexican corn. My mom LOVES their guac as well. The service is fast, streamlined and easy to navigate; everyone is always working really hard to get your order out quickly. The inside is cute too.

Yelp
Taco bamba is probably the best taco place in my opinion. Food - Great, the taco bamba is my favorite. It is still somewhat spicy even if you remove the spicy peppers. Service - Good Parking - There is parking outside. Overall, this place is great.

Yelp
When my fiancé takes this place up as one place he really enjoyed as take out with his coworkers, I was eager to try and compare to the experiences that we've had in California. At best this place is on the somewhat acceptable, but the absolutely awful experience we had for dinner this past taco Tuesday leaves such an awful taste in my mouth that I'm hesitant to return. 1) we ordered a variety of items: taco bamba, birria dirty style, Al pastor, carne asada, barbacoa. The tacos were somewhat decent. Fairly pricey for almost $4-5 a pop. Our dinner came out to about $30 for 7 tacos. 2) while we were waiting for our order, they SKIPPED our order number and when my fiancé came to check on its status after waiting a while, the lady at the counter TOOK our receipt and said she would look into it. Another 10 minutes pass and we're still waiting for food. 3) when she managed to scrounge up half our order, we asked about the missing items and she asked us for a receipt to confirm we weren't lying about the things we ordered. Ultimately we couldn't oblige because she had ALREADY taken the receipt to give us half of the order in the first place. After a little while, we did get the other half of the items. For the price that we're pay at almost $5 a taco, when it costs them pennies to make, we should at least be getting our order in a timely manner and getting all the items we ordered without having to arguing with the staff. For me, the tacos are no where near good enough to put with these shenanigans and with their asking price, I'd be better off going to a mom and pop taco place, bar taco, or El Paso. Tip: keep your receipt and check it here to make sure you're even getting your order.

Yelp
Super busy on the weekends! It can get confusing to order as there's lots of things going on inside, but there's a menu on the wall on the left hand side and a menu straight back near the cash register. The food came out relatively quick. There's indoor and outdoor seating as well. Parking is a bit crowded, but wasn't too bad. Carne taco: 8.5/10 Taco bamba: 8/10 Shrimp: 8.5/10

Yelp
The food is delicious I can't complain about it, I'm gonna complain about the service I literally feel the racism in my face , I ordered my food at 15:35pm and it was 15:55pm and it wasn't ready it's just enchiladas I'm Mexican I know that doesn't take longer time in been cooked there was two guys after me and their food was ready so Quick why is that ??? And just to they tell me my order wasn't there because like someone else took it,who is gonna took an order that is calling by a number?? They didn't make it that's all . I literally wait 30mnts just for a freaking refund??14:06pm

Yelp
FOOD The food here is great. The portions could be larger given the price, but the quality here has a good number of competitors beat. We ordered the tinga quesadilla and tacos. They tasted good by themselves, but the sauces definitely highlighted the flavors tenfold. They offer 4 different types of sauces-- verde (mild), taqera (medium), chile arbol (hot), and morita (hot). Sauces are unlimited and are stored in pitchers, so you can self-pour directly onto your meal or into sauce containers. AMBIANCE The restaurant provides a family-friendly atmosphere with tables, a grab-and-go vibe for those who wish to do so, and a bar area for adults to drink and dine should they so wish. SERVICE The staff here are very friendly and patient. We came during dinnertime, and the line to order was VERY long. Even as the cashiers up front went through orders quickly, the line just kept on going as more and more people piled into the restaurant. It only serves to say how popular the place is even on weeknights. PARKING There's ample parking in front and at the side of the plaza that is shared among several stores. Parking can fill up fast, but there are always a couple of spots available even by mealtimes. Overall, Taco Bamba is a great location to visit for a casual dining experience or take-out. It's family-friendly and also has a nice ambiance for a finer dining experience with the bar.

Yelp
This place is absolutely phenomenal. The ambience is super nice and a great place to get some tacos. They have a bar so you can get drinks at the same time! Don't skimp on the salsa bar after you've gotten your order. They have samplings of all their sales to meet all your taco needs. The first taco I got was the taco Bamba. How else are you supposed to start off the menu without the namesake? The skirt steak was beautifully tender and the minced chorizo added a nice contrasting texture to fill in the gaps. I love pickled onions and the small acidic and sweer crunch in between bites just added to the flavor. The San Diahhhgo is another taco that exceeded my expectations. The fish fit perfectly within the taco shell to allow for salsa and condiments around it. The fish had a very satisfying crisp texture on the outside but warm flaky goodness on the inside. I highly recommend this as it puts other fish tacos to shame. I had to finish the meal off with the Crunchy Shrimp, Hidden Drewno. The kitchen really knows what they're doing with the deep fryer as the tempura coating on the outside protected the plump juicy shrimp on the inside. The condiments served with really gave it a nice twist on a taco flavor. A little bit of heat was added in the form of candied Chiles so it was a nice surprise to get a small kick every other bite. I got so addicted to the salsa I had to get a side order of chips to try them all out. The salsa Verde is a classic for people who want a mild but refreshing taste. The Taquera salsa is a must for people who like a little bit more acidity in their tacos. The Chile arbol has a savory garlic taste with a heat that sneaks up on you. The Morita has a nice smokiness to it and is my personal favorite. Use the Habenero saps if you think you need to add some sweetness to your tacos.

Yelp
Food is ok, nothing special. The service is awful. In one case, my guacamole was missing and the servers ignored me trying to wave them down until someone finally stepped up. The ambience is miserable it has always been heavy metal at a high volume every time I have been there. These experiences have been consistent over several visits.

Yelp
This is one of my few favorite casual taco spots. They not only have a variety of tacos, but they also have bowls, sandwiches and many other specialties to choose from. We tried the Carne Asada and Tinga tacos. They were both very flavorful and the portion size was pretty generous. Their selection of salsas definitely made it more delicious! They were busy during happy hour, but the wait was reasonable. The staff were very efficient and friendly. The parking does tend to get filled up easily in the front, but there are more spaces towards the side and back of the store. They also have $5 drink deals during happy hour!

Yelp
Do not order online in the evening. People who walked in and ordered got their food long before we did. Are they in different queues? Got a text that the food was ready, and it didn't hit the pass until almost 15 minutes later. And the order was wrong. Good times.

Yelp
Casual spot for meaty tacos and some good vegetarian options, the Oh My Squash and Rza-Touille tacos. Hubby and father-in-law always enjoy the beefy Bamba and Carne, and the chicken Tinga tacos. The delicate house-made double-stuffed tacos perfectly tucks in the toppings, so nothing falls out to my delight. So glad that Taco Bamba had expanded its menu beyond tacos with Torta overstuffed sandwiches, enchiladas, bowls, and chilaquiles loaded nachos. Nice to see more vegetarian dishes added to the menu! The Oh My Squash butternut squash taco is bursting with flavor from the goat cheese, crunchy pepitas and almonds with a touch of brown butter. The veggie medley Rza-Touille taco is stuffed with roasted squash, red pepper, burnt eggplant mole blanco, pickled red onion, cotija cheese, basil. Along with Oh My Squash, it's among my favorite! The Ra's Al Ghul cauliflower taco with raisin, yogurt, and cous cous was interesting. While not my favorite, it was fun to try! The Spicy 'Shroom taco has quite a spicy kick - my roof was on my fire! After conquering a full taco, I've retired from the 'Shroom. The Cheese Enchiladas are surprisingly flavorful with melted cotija cheese stuffed in corn tortillas topped with salsa roja, and sour cream with a side of refried beans and yellow rice. It's guac is definitely worth the $1 upcharge. Pack the Bowl is like salad bowl loaded with veggies, protein, and toppings. Definitely filling! The new El Bob Ross Veggie Torta is an overstuffed sandwich packed with veggies and very filling as well! The Chilaquiles loaded nachos were disappointing, very soggy and stuck together. Wish the tortillas were crispy and warm!  The nachos didn't seem very fresh and congealed. The Tres dinner kits are amazing particularly the Hongos mushroom empanada and Pasqualina Tart. The savory double-crusted tart is very similar to spanakopita stuffed with spinach, swiss chard, caramelized onion, ricotta, and truffle. Although I couldn't taste any truffle, the tart was scrumptious with a nice flaky crust. The Hongos was hands-down the best mushroom empanada I've had! The roasted maitake mushrooms and cheese filling along with the spicy mustard aioli truly tickled my tastebuds. My only regret was not ordering another one! Hubby and kiddo enjoyed the ham, egg, and cheese empanada. Tres dinner kit also has specialty cocktails - don't miss out! The Mango Thai Basil Margarita hit the spot and masked the taste of Mezcal. While the Mezcal Margarita was fun to try and prefer Mezcal over Tequila, the Mezcal was too overpowering and the cocktail needed to be balanced out. The boozy Foie Old Fashioned packs a punch and tastes just like an Old Fashion. The cinnamon milk punch cocktail Horchata Brandy was tasty with a potent kick from the brandy! I honestly prefer it without the brandy. The fresh Mango Aqua Fresca juice is quite sweet and delicious! The restaurant is cozy and can get really crowded on the weekends and prime dinnertime on weekdays. Monday evenings are the best time to go! True to its name, Taco Bamba is a taco feast and glad that it's branching out!

Yelp
Great tacos and appreciate the twist/flair they put on their special tacos. From torta's to ceviches they cover lots of ground. FYI, they BLAST the music. I get it, there's a bar area up front. Still way way too loud IMO.

Yelp
Title... Taco La la la la Bamba! First time actually sitting down at this establishment and it was great. Imagine a bar setting but with tacos instead. The people were nice and the atmosphere was great. Now the food, my gosh the food was amazing. Those tacos are definitely some of the best tacos I've had within the DMV area. I had 6 tacos and boy were they delicious. First time having a tongue taco, the thought of it was odd, but once I tasted it, I was sold! What that tongue do, ha ha! I'm joking. Pros: 1. Delicious foods 2. Nice workers 3. Food comes fast 4. A lot to choose from as far as menu selections. Cons: 1. The parking isn't the best. That's my little "tid bit". Take this information and do with it what you will.

Yelp
If you don't know about this place then stay away because I don't need the competition when I place my order.

Yelp
OMG - I can't believe I forgot how much I love this place!!! Taco Bamba was an almost weekly affair when working in Tysons Corner and now it has been two years since I enjoyed 1 (or 2 or 3 or 4...) of their scrumptious tacos. DON'T WORRY ABOUT THE LINE! There usually is one but, all good things come to those who wait :) -- besides, It moves pretty fast and they are just as good to go. Seriously though, I am not sure why I waited so long to go back. They were better than I remembered. Always delicious, their Sweet 'Meen' (I recommend a napkin or two with this one and a wet wipe) is by far my favorite... but their whole menu is super delicious with tons of unique flavors and combos. The Taco Bamba and Crunchy Shrimp, Hidden Drewno are my other go-tos and my husband always gets their Small Biggie Burger and Bulgogi Bullfight. The "Tacos Tradicionales" are also great. I LOVE any of the ones with the pickled onions... I might just really love picked onions?... but you seriously can't go wrong with anything on the menu! Their portions are generous, they don't skimp, so I typically get 3 different tacos with chips and their roasted guac - YUMMM!!!! All you need for a filling lunch or a great night out (or in... I said they travel well).

Yelp
Sangria, good. Al pastor pork was almost inedible, just dry granules of flavorless material. Birria had some flavor but nowhere near what is found in most independent places. Tongue was edible but nothing to dream about like versions available elsewhere. Tripe was not available on this location's menu. Eggplant dip was a tomato sauce with no detectable eggplant. Sauces seemed sweet. Corn tortillas were inedible. Guacamole was good. Churros were too dry and there was not enough dulce do leche in the cup. Music was too loud. Quesadillas were good. Overall, a useful place if nothing else is nearby, but most independent Latino restaurants far surpass it.

Yelp
Fairly good taco spot. I came here for the second time and I enjoyed my food.my only complaints is that I wish the taco itself was hot (since they make it fresh), the chips had wayyyyy to salty pieces, and the shrimp taco wasn't de-pooped and had a funny overly fishy taste to it. Other than that, I thought everything else I got was good. The Birria taco was good and I'd get it again.

Yelp
The food is always great. Service is super fast and accommodating. The music is super loud to the point that it's disturbing and everyone has to scream!

Yelp
Portions - small. I ordered a quesadilla and it was just two large slices. I don't think that's sufficient for 13+ dollars. Knocked a star for that. Flavor: it's really good food. The quesadilla & the sour crema were very tasty. Queso: no go. Grainy. The texture really was off. Would not order again. Overall the flavor is there for the food -- but portions need to be bigger. And as previously mentioned, the queso is not good. I will be back though because I was impressed with the quesadilla's flavor.

Yelp
Wanted to try this place for awhile. Ordered Tacos de Lengua ( beef tongue) and Carne Asada tacos. For some reason they fried the beef tongue. That would not be traditional. They are supposed to be tender and juicy. Not to mention it was extremely greasy. The Carne Asada was cut into big chunks, fried (Asada means grilled). Also very greasy and salty. My boyfriend ordered Carnitas Tacos. Again, very greasy and a weird spice in the marinade. When it comes to real Mexican food, please keep to tradition, not adding chefy "pops" of taste. We were spectacularly disappointed.

Yelp
Taco Bamba is my go-to everyday favorite place to eat. The first time I went to a Taco Bamba, in Rockville, I wasn't overly impressed because I thought my taco was dry. But I've been coming to the one in Vienna after dance classes and I have now tried several different tacos, all have been delicious. They are all good enough that I get something new each time I come. I especially love that they have breakfast tacos. 2 tacos is usually plenty for me, but even if you get three it's not very expensive. The ingredients are fresh, the sauces are tasty. And if you don't like the first one you try, try others. They have a ridiculous variety, you're sure to find some you like. There's easy parking here. My only mild beef is that they always play loud American rock/metal. I wish they would play Latin American music.

Yelp
We moved to Vienna last summer, and have heard so much about this place. We finally went a couple of weeks ago, and it lived up to the hype! Absolutely delicious tacos, and great combos of ingredients. The service was efficient and friendly, and the restaurant itself has a cute outdoor patio (along with inside seating). I had the pollo al carbon and the camaron tacos, and they were taco perfection! We will definitely be back, again and again!

Yelp
Parking isn't the best but luckily I've usually found at least 1 spot even pre-pandemic. Good chain place for tacos. I normally default to al pastor and carne asada with additional tacos based on mood/hunger. I tend to prefer tacos at the local taquerias but even as Taco Bamba expands, they're still great. I really value the simplicity in tacos aka just having a few components but nailing all of them and the components complementing each other. Great spot and definitely stop by TeaDM Mini afterwards if you wanna wash it down. You can get some steps in so you can claim you exercised to justify your food that much more.

Yelp
All Taco Bambas are great but the Vienna location has the fastest service out of the three locations I've tried: Ballston, Vienna, and Falls Church. Falls Church probably has the best menu but everything from the Vienna location was fantastic. It's also the largest of the three with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. There's a decent sized bar that's not too crowded either.

Yelp
Enjoyed sitting outside here for lunch today. I had my go-to taco, Al Pastor (pork & pineapple), and the Ra's al Ghul taco, which is a spicy cauliflower taco. They give you orange sauce on the side for the Ra's taco. It was a little too spicy for me. But it was delicious without the extra heat. Contained Moroccan spiced cauliflower, spicy yogurt, couscous, raisins, almonds, arbol chile, and mint. Really different, and tasty. I also ordered their cucumber mint agua Fresca, which was so fresh and refreshing.
