Taco Bell Cantina Arrives on Boston University’s Campus | Eater Boston

"In the heart of Boston University territory, I visited Taco Bell Cantina at 872 Commonwealth Ave. (Brookline), the Boston area's first boozy Taco Bell; it serves alcohol alongside the chain's standard menu — burritos, gorditas, Crunchwrap Supremes — plus beer, wine, sangria, boozy slushes called “Freezes,” and a handful of appetizers, including chicken fingers that aren't available at non-boozy Taco Bells. District manager Jackie Boisvert told The Daily Free Press that the Cantina brand's success on Yale’s campus influenced this opening and that college-area Taco Bells tend to perform better; the restaurant has no relationship with Boston University and will not accept students' dining or convenience points. It's not yet set up on Taco Bell’s website for online ordering or delivery, so I had to order takeout onsite, though distanced indoor seating is available." - Terrence Doyle

Tacobell is located in the heart of Boston along commonwealth Avenue. I usually visit this location regularly and its being a fair experience . At rush hours and especially the weekends it can be so busy that you might wait hours to get your food . Apart from the long wait times, it gets my fair assessment. The store is clean and the workers are polite . Parking can be a little issue due to the location and the influx of delivery drivers taking every spot. Nevertheless you can't go wrong by ordering ahead of time or takeout whenever its busy.

Delicious Mexican Food in town. The service was fast, and there were clean restrooms. There were plenty tables to dine in, and I really loved the sauces. I ordered the chips and guacamole, and they were so tasty and savory. They were fitted to fuel ur day. The staffs were kind and friendly. U could order beers in the cantina, so don't forget to bring ur ID. Yeah

When The Bell hits, it hits. When it misses, it's an abomination. The taco team at this location struck out hard at 3:30pm on Sunday, Oct. 26. The cheesy gordita crunches I received were carelessly constructed disasters. I shudder to think of the hate crime I would have received had I ordered my standard crunchwrap supreme, a much trickier creation.

Came here at 2 am on a Sunday/Monday and the place was immaculate and the portions were huge. Must be a good time to come, best taco bell I ever had, which isn't really saying much.

Nelson and his team were super efficient. Despite a busy restaurant at 2:30am, the food was fresh and came out quick.

Dirty dining area, drug addicts standing outside the doors . Staff very unprofessional and rude. Second time visiting this location and both times was a let down. That's why I am making review. I had to put an formal complaint into customer service. I do NOT suggest going to this location especially to eat in. I will never go to this location again and definitely not impressed.

It is nice, clean and love the idea that the kitchen is out which you can see while your food is getting prepared. The chalupa masa was really dry and it tasted like if it was sitting there for days. The chicken was good, lettuce and tomato were fresh but not the masa. The service was ok! You order your food at the kiosk. They’re was 2 cookers doing the food which they all looked like they weren’t allowed to talk to the customers because the didn’t say a peep! They looked like if they were forced to come into work but were staring at the two other employees that were sitting. Then there was one more employee that was serving the drinks that didn’t stop talking to another girl but did not interact with the customers at all. They were two guys there that were sitting doing paperwork and in the computer which one had the Taco Bell cooker uniform one older and one younger that acted like if they never saw 2 women because they didn’t stop staring🤦🏻‍♀️ The older bold guy was just weird and every time I looked he was staring while I was eating. It was uncomfortable and unprofessional on their behalf if you ask me!
