Taco Bell

I ordered a veggie power bowl and veggie taco. They forgot my power bowl and I had to go back threw the drive thru. When I got it, it was literally just rice and lettuce. No beans. Barely any sauce. I paid $10 for rice and lettuce. It says right on the receipt, "no beans, add beef" to the tacos. I'm a vegetarian. I can't eat what I ordered. It was like $40! Taco Bell is expensive now they literally always get your order wrong. I deleted the app, I'm over it.

My order was good. I just gave it a 3 star because customer service could be better. The lady who took my order was really rude. She had an attitude when I was ordering and when I paid for it. I waited there for my receipt because she was taking someone’s order. Once she was done, she turned to me and asked why I was still here. I wouldn’t go back just based on customer service alone. You want to feel welcomed there not uncomfortable. If you chose to go there, the person who took my order was an older lady there.

If you like waiting 30+ minutes, hearing the staff bicker and curse, and get incomplete orders because of broken equipment - look no further than this location. I love Taco Bell food, but if you’re looking for fast food then avoid this location. Go to Irving Park and California, you’ll make up for the extra drive time and frustration by a long shot.

Just ordered a Mexican pizza 5/13/24 7:15 got home for it too look like a complete mess. Ive worked for the company as a teen the food isn’t difficult to prepare yet adults that work there seem to have a tough time doing simple task. I understand why I see the always hiring all positions bc you have incompetent employees.

My order was $26, and I was literally missing $10 of it. They also had us wait for our mobile order for over 10 minutes in the drive-through. We’ve gotten orders wrong before from this location as well as a couple of others, but this was seriously uncalled for and this person should be let go. Normally, I wouldn’t make comments like that, but seriously this one was so wrong and half of what I paid that it’s enough for me to never come back. I have food sensitivities to spiciness due to cancer, so I literally ordered two what I can handle, and none of the things I could eat, were given to me. This was enough that we will not be returning ever again.

I’ve been going to this Taco Bell for almost 15 years. There was a point in time where I would legitimately state this was the best TB in existence. To say they have strayed would be an absolute understatement. Every. Time. I. Go…there is an issue now. Most recently (today) I asked for a soft taco with no beef as I’ve done my entire life. Instead of a bean taco (which is again what I’ve received my whole life), I was provided a taco shell with lettuce in it. No beans at all. If this was a one off issue, I wouldn’t care that much. But the fact there is somehow a new, unique issue to deal with every time I go to this place baffles me. Today was my last time - I’ll drive to the chaos of the Wrigley location instead - at least they get my order right.

I haven’t been to a Taco Bell in ages. I had a little sticker shock when I was told it was $14 for 3 soft tacos and a drink. These are Chipotle prices for lower quality of food. That said, I am giving this location 5 stars because of the cashier Valencia. Such a sweet, nice girl both in the drive thru and at the window. Give her a raise!

DO NOT COME HERE! Used to only like this location. Drive thru line was long so went inside to pick up the mobile order. Waited 40+ minutes while they took care of 20 cars through the drive thru first. Got yelled at when we said we’d just go through the drive thru too if we’d finally get it and was told not to go to the drive thru and wait inside. They said they’d finally make it but ended up waiting an additional 30 minutes. NEVER coming back. Do not come here. Can’t believe they yelled at us, customer service was the worst I’ve ever experienced.

Went around 8pm on a Saturday and the service was great, really friendly drive thru employees and order was perfect. Sad but I normally expect crappy service at fast food joints on weekend nights but was pleasantly surprised.

Are there employees at this store? This location is hopeless, I have never received a correct order from them. On weekends, they don't even allow drive-ups, it's all delivery. This is very strange, because even only doing delivery, they make drivers wait 20-40 minutes, even on a Sunday night. I've had two drivers cancel because I'd ruined their night, stuck at Taco Bell where no one would help them or answer their questions. When I do get an order, It is never even close to being correct. I just got an order that left out 5 items and got what was there wrong. I'm worried DoorDash will stop processing refund requests, that's how bad this location is. I don't know how a location with this high a volume, in this good a location, could mismanage it so consistently for so long. If you own this location, you should be aware that you're basically lighting your cash on fire and dumping it in the river.

This used to be my favorite Taco Bell in the city but in the past year it's really fell off. Number one they stopped serving breakfast which is crazy because their giant ass sign is all about breakfast. Number two if you go to do a mobile order most of the time you are not able to get simple menu items like cheesy potatoes or a cheesy roll up. I really don't understand that because I know you have the ingredients for these items they are staples to the store. I've also had on multiple occasions my soda be just sparkling water. This location used to be my favorite but like I said for some reason they don't give a shit anymore. It's really upsetting honestly bc there aren't many Taco Bell's in the city and this one used to be SO GOOD, I will say tho if you order ahead they are pretty quick with your order. I think it's the lack of menu options that gets me

Considering this Taco Bell is technically still in the city, it's a decent location all things considered. The beans are usually fresh and our orders are almost always right. And if not, we are able to have it fixed pretty quickly. I think we have only had one instance when the workers were rude but that is usually not the case.

Driving by and had to get something to eat so I stopped here. Wow! I haven't been to Taco Bell in half a decade or more and I know prices have in general gone up but holy cow, they're expensive. And am I a jerk or would it be nice if you were even acknowledged rather than a bag just being handed to you? I know that isn't always the fault of the employees since they have to take orders whilst running the drive through, but... I didn't reduce this by any stars for that reason but it would be nice. Luckily this Taco Bell stop was one made out of necessity since I had to get food whilst unexpectedly running hours worth of errands, and I rarely visit a TB. Even if I wanted to I couldn't since I'd have to take out a loan to cover a Taco Bell habit.

It's a Taco Bell. 'Nuff said. Actually, I wanted to leave a brief review because I came here with my family after we bought a new car, to celebrate! (We needed to eat economically after just dropping so much coin... ;) ) The staff here were really kind and attentive to us, as the only people in the dining area. We started our order on the digital menu and ran into complications, so the staff helped us to transfer the order to the register so that they could help. The other thing was that the heat was turned way up, so we were super cozy from the 20 degree and windy elements outside. Last thing is that we are happy that Taco Bell continues to offer economical options, especially for our family of 5. Though they've had to increase the prices on many of their items (just as every other fast food chain), they still consistently offer a $5 combo option with plenty of food. At the time of this review, I believe it included: a chalupa, burrito, crunchy taco, cinnamon twists, and a medium drink! Unreal! Thank you Taco Bell!

I had the most terrible experience ever. I didn't receive my chips and guacamole which I paid extra for, I didn't receive my burrito, and I got delivered the wrong freeze. I ordered the midnight freeze, and I got the strawberry freeze, which I do not like. I can't even touch it. On top of that, a cinnamon twist was in my nachos (i didn't order any cinnamon twists) which I ordered for my friend, but she is allergic to cinnamon so we had to throw the whole thing away. That could've been a deathly experience for her if she didn't notice. I also randomly received an avocado ranch sauce that I didn't order, it seems like my whole order is just a mess. I tried to contact the Taco Bell location, but they did not even respond the two times I called them and they were still open and not close to closing. Worst service I've ever seen. Overall, this order was absolutely horrendous and I would give it 0 stars if I could.

Taco Bell is solid and super cheap. This location was super fast and my food was out in like 3 minutes. In and out no problem.

Walked in and placed my order. Took 30 minutes to get my food. The employees were only taking care of drive through. There were other customers waiting just as long. Jen we questioned staff they said drive through comes first. No apologies. Then they messed up my order. Oct 2. 6:35 pm. Never coming here again

Okay this is a really bad Taco Bell location. I think we waited close to an hour to get our food which was good by Taco Bell standards but by the time it came out I was so hungry that anything would have been amazing. Also delivery orders from here often get canceled

made me wait 25 minutes for a cravings box and multiple other people who came after me got their food before i did.

We used mobile order and waited about one hour and no food was ready. Ended up getting food somewhere else. When I arrived there were 3 people waiting at the counter already and they looked annoyed. One dasher told me she was waiting for one hour. There were 2 workers on the line making food. 1 worker breaking down the other line and doing dishes. If you're swamped that's the last thing to do. That third employee should jump on the line and help finish the orders. It seems like the workers had no idea how to make the food and how to push out the orders. They only make drive through food. Don't bother ordering in or using the mobile app. I've worked for another location for 5 years and this is by far the most disorganized store. I hope the RGM (if they even have one) hires employees who get the job done. People are out there hire the right ones. I'd suggest getting rid of some of your current employees. One made racist comments towards a door dasher. She said no cheese no cupo de cheese. That's not even how you speak Spanish. She had a rude demeanor towards him. He was just asking how long will it be by showing the dashers order on his phone. She then yelled out loud to the lobby that she's got no food and about to shut down the store. Ok so shut down the drive thru and prioritize the app orders and the customers who already spent their money. I'd love to talk to the manager about how they can problem solve cause clearly there's a lot of issues. Don't order from here don't use the app here and don't go thru the drive through. I'm sure the food isn't up to code if they got two people only cooking and struggling to make one order at a time. Literally these girls made one order at a time. Don't waste your time.

Well, it is Taco Bell so I'm pretty confident everyone can relate to my review from the get go. I love Taco Bell and crave it all the time but only treat myself a few times a year. Was pretty excited for that day to come but was less than impressed with the outcome. First thing, they have the dining area roped off with hand sanitizer available. It was very clean and the the kiosks were in working order. Problem was, you order and pay via kiosk and then they told us they were out of nachos. They didn't offer to give credit back but asked if we wanted another taco. Little bummed, because we already ordered tacos, we said Ok. They brought us the drink we ordered and then put our order in the bag, left it on the counter and walked away. We then asked for sauce and napkins and they brought sauce and left. We waited and eventually flagged someone down and gave us napkins. We then went outside to sit at one of the Tables and they were pretty dirty. We found little spot and opened the bag to see our nacho replaced taco didn't make it. Figured no big deal, but then opened all our other items and they were about half full so we left hungry. Food was hot and obviously made to order but just rather incomplete. It's frustrating when Taco Bell's prices have increased so we paid $18 and were less than satisfied. Way to clean, but maybe display a sign if you can't update your kiosks if you're out of things. Of course I'll be back, because we can't stay away, but I'll always remember.

Literally made it with 20 mins left until closing time...I went through the drive through...lights all on even the drive through and put my window down and the guy says welcome to Taco Bell we're closed. I asked really we made it before closing. And he said yes. Then there was a girl on the intercom and she said, "yes we're closed, we have nothing left." Um, what.?!? Then Turn the lights off! Ugh! We just wanted tacos!

I Do recommend this place! Their food is always on point, and the manager is really nice! I had an issue and she resolved it with a really great attitude!! Happy about the service!

Late night service is very slow, on top of that I had an order with 2 items that I had to wait 10+min for and they got it wrong, they gave me something completely different. Of course that after waiting for so long I didn't care to check in the bag, please do better to make sure that consumers are getting what they asked for

Hands down the best Taco Bell in Chicago. This locations prepares the food correctly and made sure I picked up the right order (two orders with same name) Most other locations in Chicago aren't so great but this one is the exception.

Food was wrong and uncut, staff was rude and wouldn't fix mistake. Will not be eating at this location any time soon. Order something simple that doesn't need to be cut if you come here... also there was a male who was making remarks to me and my father just sitting down and eating. Nothing was done about the man. He was being very loud and disrespectful. This is the worst experience I have ever had at a Taco Bell. Coming from being an assistant manager at a restaurant and as a person who has been coming to Taco Bell's for years and more years to come. I would never expect to have an experience like this.

Terrible service. Waited over an hour for my food, and came out cold. Never going back, and will tell everyone never to go here.

Don't come here if you are in a rush. Super slow. A full service restaurant is faster.

I am not a Taco Bell employee. I am a delivery guy. It is not my job to pour the drinks and put sauce in the bag. I have to wait there for 10 minutes for a order because you guys are slow and lazy. You don't deserve to be working it is again it is not my job to get the sauce and drinks. Next time you want me to do it you can pay me.

Once upon a time this used to be a legendary Taco Bell location. Back in my DePaul days around the early 2010s, this establishment had 1500+ reviews and a 5 star rating. You'd drive up, and in the most welcoming heart warming tone the employee would ask you how your day is. There was sincere politeness and care in them simply taking your order no matter the time or day. And they almost never got it wrong, if they did, going back around for your correct items would be a non-issue. Those days are long gone as it seems the original GM of that nostalgic time period has moved on. I thought this TB was forever going to be special in every way, but time has proved that to be wrong. Similar to many of my ex-girlfriends, this Taco Bell ended up turning out like the rest of em. I should have known you would end up as just another average fast food restaurant.

This place here has turned into complete garbage. The indoor dining area was "closed" or the workers just don't want to open to clean but the workers said drive thru is open so we go there. The operator was very rude. I wasn't done ordering and when I said I was done she sighed In annoyance. In the end we didn't order anything and went elsewhere. But this place has turned to a completely garbage place. I wouldn't come here again after that rudeness! If I was able to I would give zero stars

The manager and awesome employees of this location make it one of the best Taco Bell locations in the City of Chicago. As a local resident, I often frequent this location, and on the very few occasions there has been any issue with my order, it was resolved promptly. Ignore the reviews from drunk kids, I have never been anything less than impressed with this location.

If I could give zero stars I would. I have a "only positive Yelp reviews" policy, but this Taco Bell has gone above and beyond to deserve a zero ranking. My friends threw me a surprise 30th birthday party at a Taco Bell. That's how much I love the place. But this location - which I live 100 meters from - has instilled in me the deepest rooted hate for an establishment that I thought was beyond my capability. This evening I placed an order online 45 minutes in advance. We got in the drive thru line, waited 20 mins to the ordering window only to be told they would only be accepting Delivery orders. Stuck behind multiple cars, it was another 20 minutes before we got to the food delivery window for which they offered us zero consolation other than a phone call to the police. I wish I could say this was the first negative experience here but this is about the 20th in the past two months; that's how often I attempt to support this piece of shit establishment. The experience highlighted above is not a one off. And on the occasion I've been given food, it has been riddled with meat despite the fact that I don't eat meat and make that explicitly clear when ordering. This location is an absolute embarrassment and though I live across the street I vow to never give them another penny. Don't waste your time and energy on this shit shit of an establishment. You will waste a lot of hard earned time and energy only to be disappointed. I hope you go out of business soon to be replaced by a place that knows how to run a business and value it's customers.

This is the worst location ever, I ordered tonight from DoorDash and they made my driver wait over an hour and never gave the food. Easily the laziest, no good, bum employees to ever walk the face of the earth. Everyone working should be fired, terrible staff, and if you can't handle a job then don't do it.

Good, busy Taco Bell. Service was slow due to business volume, but employees were friendly and efficient. Met my late night fast food needs.

This store frequently closes during the day with no explanation. This sucks when you place a mobile order and can't get your food. This is one of the stores that charges extra for red sauce on tacos & burritos. Most stores the extra red sauce is free.

I used to go here a few too many times a week before they shut down for remodel so when they opened back up I was super stoked. The quality has just been so terrible every single time I've come here since they've reopened. Food is cold, rice is hard, bottom of the bag on nacho fries with just all of the cold hard little pieces. I don't know many, at first I thought I just had bad luck, but this is becoming pretty consistent. Today I ordered a spicy potato soft taco and got 6 little potato's and some lettuce and cheese lightly sprinkled on a hunk of raw tortilla. I used to work food service so I know what it's like to have a bad day here and there, but poor quality is becoming the status quo for this location.

LOW GRADE DOG FOOD. That is what you get at Taco Bell. It is the lowest quality garbage prepared to look like Tex Mex food. Do yourself a big favor and do NOT trash you digestive system with this dog food.

Last two times I went there the credit card reader was down in the drive-through line and the very last time they simply said we're not taking orders at this time. Does this mean not at all? very odd. I didn't have time to go inside. Just have a bad taste in my mouth which unfortunately can't be cured by tacos

When we hear that "hello hello hello, what can I get for you today boss" we get so hyped! The manager has given such great customer service and the food is always fresh. The hard work and great customer service is exceeding our expectations. Hector always gives outstanding service and being the taco bell addicts we are we are always so happy to hear him on the intercom! Thank you Hector!

I want to give this place a 5 star, but its a taco bell... HOWEVER, it is the best taco bell I've ever been to. I was extremely skeptical when my friends were talking about a 4.5 / 5 star taco bell in the wicker park / Chicago area. IT was a late Friday night (I was not drunk) and we went here. We ordered bacon chalupas nachos etc. If you have ever seen those taco bell commercials with awesome looking tacos nachos and chalupas etc, this is the taco bell that makes it like that. All the ingredients were fresh, and there was a perfect balance of sauce beans etc on the nachos and the bacon chalupas. Every single nacho had some type of sauce / bean stuff on it; I posted a couple pictures to show the ingredients in the chalupa. Unfortunately, its still a taco bell so ALAS, 4 stars. However if you want to try taco bell at its finest.... come here baby.

This Taco Bell is horrible. The portions are a joke. Save yourself the disappointment and go to another one. I gave it 4 chances and NOPE. Never coming back here again.

I have tried to go here 5 times in the last month and they always say "sorry our systems are down and we cannot take orders unless it's doordash." Very frustrating...

Rude staff. Went on 11/21 around 8pm and they were turning away anyone in the drive through, "COME INSIDE TO ORDER" was shouted ridiculously loud and in a rude, off-putting tone. Was not busy inside at all and the drive thru was clearly open and lights were on so not sure why it was necessary to be so rude

Best Taco Bell location EVER! There's not much to say for the food. It's Taco Bell food. It tastes the same as any other Taco Bell location. If you haven't tried it, you should. It's definitely not authentic Mexican, but most people don't come here for that. And you shouldn't, especially not here in Chicago where tacquerias are everywhere. I do like that tacos and burritos can now be ordered "fresco style" which is slightly healthier and more refreshing. I also like to try their new stuff, currently the Doritos Tacos which are pretty good I must admit. I also love all of their drink options, like the limeades and stuff. So why does this Taco Bell get 5 stars? They have the NICEST staff ever. I get better service here than I do at most sit down restaurants. They talk to you through the intercom. They care about what you have to say. They are patient when you ask for specific ingredients. And they always look and sound happy. One time I left my wallet at home and they gave me the food any way. Who does that anymore? I was really beside myself. It's one of the few places where I actually called the survey number and gave them good feedback. They really are just that nice and deserve some kudos. I wish all Taco Bell employees would treat their customers like the employees do at this location. In fact, I wish all fast food places would. But that's just wishful thinking.

This location is always closed for a handful of reasons and refuses to take orders during the hours of operation at the drive thru. Ridiculous. 5th time this has happened.

Taco Bell is at the tip of our town, and buying a taco is not that easy. Luckily, they have a delivery service for just a small delivery fee. Ordering food for a movie night with friends is always the best at taco bell. They always deliver the food freshly hot and right on time as what they set. They have the best pair of burrito and taco combinations along with favorite nachos perfect for six people. Movie nights are not perfect without a spicy burrito to eat. The delivery man will deliver the order in front of your home with the exact order you requested. Moreover, the food inside the carrying bag arranged accordingly, not messing up the tacos and burritos. Even before opening the bag, the smell immediately surprises you. The aroma is still fresh like it was made right in front of our house. The spicy taste and sourness are well balanced. Overall the food and the service they provide in their delivery is top-notch and highly recommended.

Sometimes the service is slow because they are a popular fast food restaurant in this town. Sometimes my meatless nachos don't have much beans. But today's did!

New staff new managers. Worse place of business I've ever been to. I don't say this lightly. I live on Taco Bell and we go here at least twice a week. Stay away from place. I called a manager to comment and ask why they have become so bad and the manager cursed at me and hung up. I went in last night to complain about the person taken our order in the drive through kept arguing with and interrupting my wife. The manager smirked at me and then walked away. Orders are always wrong, people are rude, managers swear at you. This is not a one time experience. Like I said I love Taco Bell. But stay away from this place.
