Delicious food. 🤤 We had an assortment of the buffalo tacos, shredded chicken, carne asada, beans and rice. We finished off with the sopapilla and that’s a MUST when you visit. Food was definitely ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ We were also really impressed by the staff and how gracefully they handled a rude and aggressive party, offering to accommodate their requests as much as possible on a busy Tuesday Taco evening. The hostesses really handled the party’s obnoxious rudeness and insults like pros. All that to say, this should be your next food stop 😉

It was such a pleasure getting to know Peter (the owner), while working on the beautiful flooring at T/ACO! We installed a concrete stain and epoxy finish to revamp the space, and it really complements the vibrant atmosphere he’s created. We love seeing local businesses supporting each other. Be sure to check out the amazing food, and maybe take a peek at the floors too, haha! Highly recommend stopping by T/ACO for both great eats and a stunning space.

I’ve been in Boulder for 10 years and I absolutely love this restaurant. Aside from the great service and awesome food It’s where I met my last girlfriend. We both love coming here so much that it’s where I asked her to marry me 2 years later. Peter, the owner, makes it obvious how much he cares about the food he serves, the people who create it and the especially the people who come to enjoy it. T/aco consistently has some of the best food and the best service in downtown Boulder.

There was a dog literally standing on the bar the entire time we were there. Even if it’s a service animal, that is still a health code violation. Additionally, the bartender pet the dog and then immediately went back to making drinks without washing his hands. The manager walked by. Multiple employees saw it. Nobody did anything. Completely killed any trust in the cleanliness of this place. Won’t be back.

What an extraordinary place all around!! My first experience was for dinner, the moment my group walked in the door we were warmly welcomed right away. It was so amazing I met the owner Peter personally and gave him a hug as he and staff quickly found a place for 7 ( including 4 children) the wait staff immediately brought out drinks and were friendly, patient and knowledgeable with our questions as we had never visited before. They worked together as a team it was cool. When people are being paid well and treated with respect it shows up in the service and quality of food and I really felt that here 🙂 We ordered many different flavors of tacos made with daily homemade tortillas and the variety of options is wide , the meats are so flavorful and tender Wow. The queso with carne asada was a huge hit for everyone including the kids, I would absolutely recommend ordering a large because everyone will want more. The chips are fresh and crispy with an array of salsas to choose from and the Margaritas are so delicious with unique recipes. The interior was fun, we sat under tall ceilings and enjoyed festive decorations for the holiday. Top Notch place in my opinion. I next want to mention how positive my second experience was at T/ACO, so this time was lunch and my friend brought her dog along, YES they're Pet-friendly, yay so we asked to sit on the patio which is a neat location with views of the mountains and Broadway. Our pup was brought out a water bowl and a little shredded chicken it was so nice of them. Also the food was brought out promptly and fresh, with service that went above and beyond again. It's such an affordable price for the great quality and atmosphere . Happy hour is also offered every day of the week. Places like this help bring people and community together, Thank you for serving Boulder!

If you’re in Boulder, you have to stop by T/aco! Their tacos are absolutely amazing—packed with flavor and perfectly made—and the margaritas are just as incredible. The customer service is truly 5-star; every single staff member made us feel welcome and taken care of. The vibe is perfect too, with a mix of indoor seating (including a lively bar) and outdoor seating that’s ideal for soaking up those gorgeous Boulder days or enjoying a cool evening. What really sets T/aco apart is the people. The owner personally came by our table several times to check on us and even brought over a complimentary sauce for us to try. But the moment that completely won us over? As we were finishing lunch, we noticed a homeless man sitting near the entrance. Before we could even offer to buy him a meal, the owner walked out with a burrito and a drink for him—no hesitation, just genuine kindness. Businesses like this deserve our support! T/aco isn’t just serving up incredible food; they’re making a difference. Don’t miss it next time you’re in Boulder!

Oh my my my!!!! Taco Tuesday is THE BEST! Don’t miss out on trying everything on their menu in one night with the price you can’t beat anywhere else. They are sooo delicious. I’m really happy with their menu change and new tacos in the past couple months. We’ve been coming every other week if not every Tuesday for the past 2 years and still are obsessed with them. Only suggestion is perhaps revamping the space? Make it more fun, maybe some better music, or live entertainment? Other than that the vibes of the food are on point, the margs are killer, and the service is friendly!

Consistently great food, amazing service, and delicious margaritas. We love the guacamole starter too. This is a great taco Tuesday stop. Several vegetarian and pescatarian options. My favorites are the veggie taco and the shrimp taco. And I always love the strawberry margaritas, but the traditional version is also delicious. T/aco is our go to taco spot in Boulder!

Decent restaurant with really good taco Tuesday prices. I had the Buffalo chicken, Barbacoa, and cheese with steak. The chicken and Barbacoa was dry. The chicken one was interesting and had a pretty good spice to it. The cheese with added steak was probably the best but I wish the cheese was crunchy for a different texture since their tortillas were super flimsy and not great. The chips and Queso was pretty good, the Queso texture was a bit too thick and seized up even though it was still hot. Service was ok, they were super busy though. Also it was pretty loud inside, we needed to basically yell for a lot of the night.

This place has a very cool atmosphere and a great vibe with just the people, the music and the inside decor. It's kind of divey but not if that makes sense. I met up w some old high school friends. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and the portion was enough for 3 people. It's was very cheesy and tasted okay, it definitely could use some more seasonings! For our appetizer we got the chips queso and three different salsas. I really liked it a lot. Our server Kevin was beyond amazing and just such great customer service. We had a few hiccups but he IMMEDIATELY rectified it. Overall a cool place but I probably won't be back just cause I'm super picky w my Mexican food. But great atmosphere. Oh I almost forgot I got the sopaphias those were soooo good

Ordered some tacos for a late lunch and it was just a pleasant light meal. The tacos are decent and my favorite was the shrimp taco. I love the dipping sauces for the chips. We used it to dip our tacos too. The place overall is cute with a nice outdoor area which is perfect for the summer. Our server was awesome. She was incredibly attentive and cheerful the whole time.

Dark and loud, no indoor voices here. More of a fun party vibe. They have a good happy hour and decent margs. The street tacos are very good. The service was very good, friendly and fast.

I've spent a lot of time at restaurants all over Colorado working on multiple sides of the food and beverage industry. And this place has it nailed down:) incredible food, great service, affordable and effective drinks. The owner (I think Peter) came and chatted to us and was helping his team bus tables during a busy lunch service. A great place to swing by with your pup and your best friend after a hike and a dip in the creek

3.5 stars. Driving back from Estes Park, my partner and I stopped by T/ACO for some... well, tacos. Interested by the name. We found street parking a few blocks down and walked here. Got chips and salsa, as well as steak, chicken, and pork belly tacos. They weren't especially memorable, but service was quick. I'd come back again just to try more options on the menu and take our time since we were in a rush this visit.

The wait staff and food as phenomenal! We loved the happy hour street tacos and the avocado and tomato version of guacamole was amazing. We also got a salsa trio and everything was just yummy and plenty of vegan options for me, and my daughter loved the chicken happy hour street tacos and said best she ever had!

Fantastic tacos and the salsas, guacamole very delicious too. All of the people working there super friendly and created a great atmosphere and experience!

T/ACO was a fun place for a Friday night dinner. The wait staff was super friendly. The tacos, chips and guacamole were all super delicious! The trio of salsas and margarita was just ok.

WOW, one of the best Mexican street taco restaurants I've tried! Once seated (may be a short wait on weekends), the service is super friendly, accommodating and SO efficient - just be ready to eat when you order as their freshly made foods are served within minutes, no kidding!! Excellent house made fresh and creative Street Tacos, Chips and Salsas (mild to spicy), Guacamole, Queso and more; whether GF, Vegan or traditional, they have a wide variety to please all! Overall, 4.5 rated experience for me - loved the casual ambience and tasty eats, delicious! Expect to pay a reasonable $5-15pp depending what and how much you order. Plenty of beverages and Margaritas too. Tonite started with a couple Boulder IPA brews, and their fresh chips (bag full) and salsas. The Pineapple jalapeño with a touch of sweet and spicy, and their Habanero salsa had a nice kick. We tried 6 varieties in all from mild red, to salsa verde to spicy chipotle - all different and fantastic! The Guac was freshly made and chunky style, so good! Dinner was straightforward ordering a variety of street tacos. We tried the Duck, Pork Belly, Carnitas, Cojita Vegetarian, Fish and Shrimp. Each was unique and flavorful - personal faves were the Duck, Fish, and Cojita Vegetarian, YUM!! If you enjoy tacos in a relaxing atmosphere, smiling and great service plus a quick meal, T/ACO is not a place you want to miss. Cheers, ENJOY!!!

This really hit the spot. We traveled since early AM eastern time and needed a quick pick me up dinner. Service was fantastic and the tacos tasty and some very creative. We especially liked the. Queso and chips that we ordered. They arrived at the table as we were still ordering. Nice touch!

Awesome atmosphere. Great location. The best service from our hostess, waiter, servers, and bartender. Chips and salsa are wonderful. Chips were warm and salsa was amazing. I wish they would jar up the salsa and sell it. Shrimp tacos and mushroom tacos were so good we had to order more. Skinny marg was delicious. Lots of marg flavors. Fluffy air pillows for dessert are a must! Outdoor seating. The staff is amazing. Fast, friendly and attentive. When we left, the Hostess ran out to give me my shopping bag I almost forgot under the table. So nice!

Went for taco Tuesday and it was fantastic! $2.75 per taco and amazing options to choose from. Service was quick and patio was busy but lovely!!

Had such a nice time at this restaurant! The staff was super great with helping us decide which tacos to get. Loved sitting outside with all the pretty lights, it was a great ambiance. Would absolutely recommend coming here.

Never been to a place that charged you $3 for chips when you order a $5 guacamole and had 3 tacos and the homemade tortilla were are mush not sure I will be back here

Service was 5/5. Guac was 5/5. Ambiance was 5/5. Food looked good but was bland and not very good. Would not come again.

I'VE BEEN to this place a couple times and immensely enjoyed it, along with my friends. The raw wood decor and informal atmosphere remind me of small town restaurants I've been to while traveling through Baja. The tacos are authentic and incredibly varied. Margaritas are enormous and strong and best of all, their well tequila is 100% agave. I love that the owner introduced himself and lends a hand wherever it's needed. You certainly don't see that very often in downtown Boulder !

We ordered the following tacos: Shrimp Fish Carnitasx2 Duck PBLTB Our favorites were the duck & carnitas. My husband said he could drink the pineapple salsa, it was so delicious. The chips were salty goodness. Friendly, fast service If we had stayed in Boulder longer we probably would have eaten there again.

Quick service, great variety, perfect for a quick pre-show meal. I got the upscale margaritas, it did not disappoint.

A fabulous little restaurant featuring great tacos in both an indoor and outdoor setting. Parking nearby can be a little tough, but the parking garage across the street is inexpensive. We had fish, duck and carnitas tacos, and all were wonderful, and each quite different from the other. High quality ingredients, great flavor combinations, and a varied menu -- this is about as good as it gets. The duck was amazing, the carnitas had a great combination of pork, pineapple and veggies, and the fish tacos were good too. Yum! 5 tacos for $23.43 plus tip ... we'll be going back the next time we're in the area.

Being from Southern California, I can be super picky about tacos. Even though these are not so authentic, I'm giving you all 5 stars because the service was on point and fast, the food was decent for the homogenous community of Colorado, and the ambiance was decent. I had the fried shrimp, pork, and beef tacos. All were fine. I even ordered a quesadilla to-go! Overall, it's fine for what Boulder can offer.

Great spot in the town of Boulder! It was a Saturday so we thought we come here for an early dinner. It's a little place so we had about a 45 minute wait. Once we were seated the waitress couldn't have been more attentive! We ordered the House margarita which was perfect! We each ordered 3 tacos and my daughter ordered the quesadilla. Unfortunately they were out of the duck which I would have liked to try. Ask for lots of napkins because they are bursting with goodness!

Excellent food and service. Not a chain type taco joint. Very eclectic and tasty! I had three different tacos and some frijole beans with extra cotija cheese! And a fantastic margarita!

T/Aco is a great place to get tacos! We have a taco tuesday each week for our work team and everyone on the team enjoys the treat. My favorites are the lengua (tongue) and their red snapper but there are so many choices that everyone can get their taco desires filled completely. The staff is always friendly and helpful and the drinks are on point. If your in the need for some terrific tacos, spicy salsas and some downright incredible queso you should definitely try out T/Aco!

Came after a hike with my friend and dog. We both have been in the industry for years and know a well ran restaurant when we see one. The food was 10/10, Kevin F our server was friendly, attentive, brought water for my dog, etc. the food came out so quick it was unbelievable for how busy it was. And to top of it off, the owner came to help bus our table. He stopped and took a few minutes to talk to us and ask how everything was. What a cool, grounded humble guy!!!!! Talk about a 10/10 dining experience... I'm so lucky we came across this place!!!!

Nice to finally stop in and check out T/aco and was glad to too. I thought this place was a good hang for some mid level light Mexican food. The veggie quesadillas were good and filling, which is exactly what I was looking for! I also had the buffalo chicken taco and enjoyed that as well. The winner for me was the white queso. It had a great mild flavor and great consistency. A great way to augment the main meals. I was impressed by the service too! They did a good job with everything even though they were super busy. Really an enjoyable Sunday lunch hanging out with my friend. Cheers!

Good guac that's about it My carnitas taco tasted like a gummy bear and the classic beef tasted like a pumpkin pie. There was a big piece of cartilage in the carnitas taco.

Went here for my friends 21st on taco Tuesday and it was AMAZING! Reasonably priced and the server and service was great! Will definitely be returning! The food was also amazing and super flavorful. This restaurant had a super cool vibe and I loved the experience!

The tacos though small in size are very filling and extremely tasty. The waiters are all funny and nice. Food came out great for my whole family of 5. It's a small restaurant with a big heart, definitely recommend.

I'm sure this place is great if you've never had tacos outside of Boulder, but if you have ever had any real Mexican food you should pass on this. The guacamole had no flavor, the chicken didn't even taste like it had salt & pepper. The carnitas was decent, it was at least seasoned, but all in all, it's Mexican made solely for white people that can't handle seasoning.

Nice atmosphere. It was busy but we had service right away and throughout our time there. They accommodated for our children well to present the meal in a way that they'd eat it. The kids loved the food and we all know kids can be picky.

Huge fan of Mexican but something here was just off. If you're planning on coming here for any reason other than drinks with friends on a Friday night- BE WARNED.

Great experience at t/aco! Our waitress was very attentive and our tacos came out minutes after ordering. I ordered the regular margarita, my friend ordered the coin style marg. The tacos were STUFFED and I was thoroughly impressed. Would certainly recommend and come back here.

Stopped for lunch here with my son after a morning workout. We sat on the patio which is a great location to look at the mountains. My son ordered a bowl while I went with fish tacos - every bite was wonderful - the ingredients beautifully complimented each other. Three tacos was at the limits of filling me up but I didn't leave any behind to waste. I would go here again soon!

This review i exceptionally late, but holy hell am I craving tacos and margaritas from T/ACO's right now... I found this place on Yelp (shocking, I know) in the summer of 2020 while vacationing in Boulder. I parked nearby planning on having a quick meal and scooting on home. I was not ready for this experience. There wasn't any seating for one, so the guy offered me a drink and asked if I mind waiting. No worries! Took one sip and wasn't ready for this religious experience...one may have turned into two by the time a seat opened up for Gastro Solo. I ordered a few tacos. Delicious, but I needed more. Ate more, drank more and than ate even more. Got to the point where driving home was not an option so Uber to the rescue. Work has me on the other side of the planet for the last year and I'm planning my vacation back to Colorado now. Stop one: HERE.

First stop in Boulder is T/ACO. We love the street tacos and hearty/ delicious margs. Staff is friendly, atmosphere is great (especially outside on a sunny Colorado day) Prices are reasonable and service is quick. Highly recommend

Awesome place! It was our anniversary and they made our table and experience extra special. The tacos were amazing and we got to meet the owner who was so gracious. We will definitely be back!

Great spot in Boulder! We stopped by here while passing through for the afternoon and we were not disappointed. Super friendly staff and really nice inside. We ordered the chips and salsa trio, our choice of salsas were the mild tomato, roasted verde, and the pineapple salsa. All three tasted super good and had a kick to them. For the tacos I ordered a veggie taco, the cotija taco, and the ensalada taco. All three were easily some of the best tacos I've ever had. Being from SoCal, I was excited to try this spot and was shocked at how good they are! My boyfriend ordered 2 chicken tacos and one veggie taco. Both of his were very good as well. The waiter was telling us the tortillas they use are all homemade, making the tacos taste super fresh! I would totally come back here if I ever find myself in Boulder again.
