Taco Empire

The food was good and definitely hit the spot for lunch. The service was great. A little pricier than expected (if complimentary chips a salsa was provided the price would be right in line), but no complaints on taste. The only real glaring issue was how hot it was inside which sounded like a common occurrence, not the best setup for dine-in, especially during summer. That aspect alone might keep me from coming back when it’s this warm out. I give it a 4 based on the overall experience, taste alone a 5. I would consider going back if I wasn’t willing to drive further.

Best vegan street tacos ever!! Mangorita was so good. Love the atmosphere here and staff was great. Food prepared quickly. Excellent place. This is our new spot for tacos and margs!

Can’t say enought good things about Taco Empire! We had their Dip Trio, which was incredible and we had lots to take home + extra chips! I had the steak salad bowl and it was a very generous serving size, very delicious!! My husband got the pastor torta and an adobado taco, both of which he had great things to say about. The horchata was tasty as well. Our food was brought out very quick and all the employees were attentive and helpful.

I finally stopped in for takeout at Taco Empire after passing by it so many times, and I’m glad I did. My girlfriend and I both got the steak burrito along with a small chips and queso, which actually turned out to be more than enough for two people. The chips were the standout—super thick and crunchy, way better than what I’m used to. They were a little salty, but honestly so good you could snack on them plain. The queso was also great, though there were definitely more chips than dip. As for the steak burrito, it started off a bit drier than I’d hoped—probably would’ve been better with one of the sauces they offered, so I’ll definitely grab salsa next time. That said, the flavor built as I went, and the steak itself was delicious. What really pulled it together was the cheese—perfectly melted with a great taste that brought the whole thing to life. Overall, I’d absolutely go back to try more from the menu and definitely get more of those chips.

Taco Empire serves amazing authentic Mexican food, and it’s delicious! Their menu offers something for everyone, from mild to spicy. The prices are also very reasonable, and everyone working there is friendly. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. They also have a punch card program where you can earn free chips and queso. We will certainly be back as often as we can!

One of my favorite taco place in OKC, My favorite is the steak tacos! And thank you for catering for Paycom, this is how I came to know this place! Love the special taco wrap!

Ordered the steak tacos, queso and corn and rice and beans. Everything was phenomenal! Service was great. Restaurant was clean and atmosphere was great.
