For a chain , I am quite impressed, the restaurant has amazing food, I didn’t eat there but I have been there for pick up , the restaurant is clean and the staff are great. Horchata can be better, Food is amazing steak taco is awesome and the elote was beyond my expectations. Highly recommended

Delicious!!!!!! And when I say delicious I mean that authentic and everything is fresh their salsa is on point 🤤🤤🤤🤤 this is my new spot! Meat was so tender and favorable The veggies were so fresh and their chips and salsa mouth watering!

Ordered for delivery, have eaten inside in the past and ordered before. Felt compelled to leave a review because this cup of corn was sold to us. If you look at the photo, it tastes like what it looks like. Watery unsweetened corn. $7 on ubereats 😅 won’t make this mistake again. As for the taco dinner, it was ok. I always know order tacos for delivery is a big risk as the tortillas get soggy or it gets cold easily. In this case, the tortillas were undercooked and chewy along with the steak. Eating in the restaurant was a much better experience but that was a year ago so maybe something has changed.

This is the worst hot sauce I've ever tried. I had tried the sauce before and it was better, better tasting, but this one seems like it's packaged. I won't buy tacos there again until they change those sauces. I thought the green one was better, but it's worse, or the same as the red one. It's also terrible.

Nice little corner store for late-night $10 burrito. Clean environment, friendly staff, my order was ready very quickly. The ground beef burrito was above average and to make it better they are open quite late. Will return for a cheap bite.

Got the lunch special to go… There’s tons of space in there with a full bar, a few sofas abs the food is amazing.. Utterly love their protein bowls.

If you are looking for good Mexican tacos… this is the place! We love the steak tacos 🌮, quesadilla and the brown sauce… 🌶️ The place is clean, comfy and nice … plus it is open late night 🤩 Service was fast and friendly. 🫰🏽

Solid burrito place. Got the steak burrito with cheese American style. For the price, good size and quality ingredients. Both sauces are great, with the red being very spicy and green a good amount of spice and not as runny. I asked for sour cream too which was forgotten I think...oh well. It had avocado in it which I didn't expect but it was super ripe and delicious. The beans also had great flavor. Def be back again.

First time today. A stranger told me about this " Welcome" addition to Hyde Park. I ordered the taco combo beans and rice. When I saw the grilled strip of pineapple on that pork..I knew I was in for a Treat. Absolutely delicious super fresh ingredients and the Rice and Beans were the classic style. This place for the 2nd time didn't open at 11. I was told the owner said don't open because the staff was late. This guy will not be in business very long! Go eat at Dos Bros!

A more authentic counter service version of Chipotle. Tried the barbacoa burrito - - it was piping hot and came with salsa and chips. An amazing value given the portions and extras.

I'm so sad to make this review because Taco Pros used to be my go to taco spot, but changes in their food are disappointing. I ordered my usual- 3 Barbacoa tacos & received three dry and cold tacos with pale colored meat. I genuinely thought they gave me pork because I've had their barbacoa so many times, these were unrecognizable. The service was great and they offered a replacement because I thought I received the wrong order but when they gave me 3 fresh new tacos it was the same thing- very dry pale colored beef. Barbacoa should never be dry! The salsa verde has also change and is now not spicy but creamy? As someone who has ordered here for years I hope they bring back the original recipes.

Chicken burrito was a great deal for $9ish It even comes with avocado free of charge. I walked in and ordered over the counter, they got my order wrong (I wanted beef) but the chicken burrito was still very tasty. 1 bowl and 1 burrito total was $22

I've been to other Taco Pros and loved the food. The Hyde Park location was a big disappointment. The chicken tacos were overcooked and bland. The manager's shirt was dirty, and that was a turnoff. I will not go back.

Ordered the shrimp tacos and was pleased on how fresh everything tasted. There are many other protein choices to choose from. You can order just tacos, or even upgrade to a combo meal. Prices were reasonable

Pretty good. I've ordered from Taco Pros a couple of times, and it's been fairly decent. The barbacoa tacos are my favorite, but the carne asada are okay too. The latter aren't the most flavorful, but they're decent. I didn't care for the chicken tacos at all, though. Those were bland. I did like the rice and beans, though. However, my sister didn't really care for the food at all, so there you go. She thought it was so-so. Order at your own risk. The buy 1, get 1 taco dinner offer is pretty sweet, so I'd continue to order from them.

The tortilla chips were bland. Guac tasted weird. The burrito was mid. But great promo. Buy 1 burrito get 1 free.

It's a bummer they changed the quesadillas to tacos for some reason ‍. The Barbacoa and green salsa aren't the same any more either. We use to come here weekly for lunch but I guess that's over.

I'm seriously questioning the palettes and honesty of every review of this place. This is my second time trying Taco Pros and this is by far the worst tacos I've ever had. On a scale of 1-10 I'd give it a 0 considering the fact these are the most flavorless tacos I've ever tried. Even if you add the green and red sauce the flavor is lacking and you end up with a hint of spice and rubbery fatty bits of steak. The cilantro also leaves a bad aftertaste. As stated this is my second attempt at trying this place out. Both times I placed multiple orders, some which were duplicates (ex. 2 SEPERATE ORDERS OF THE SAME THING) heavy emphasis on the separate and both times they decided to place all the tacos into one container. I realize a lot of their business is hospital staff but not everyone is sharing their lunch. Both me and my friend were going in separate directions and didn't notice until we were already gone that they'd boxed our food into one container. The only reason I finished these tacos were because I was extremely hungry and also didn't want to waste my money. I also haven't written a review in quite some time and felt this place needed a review. I can say the establishment appears clean all the time, the cashier is friendly and prompt but both times didn't listen to get my order correctly and did what she wanted while packing the orders without first asking to see if I wanted everything into one container. She means well and this review isn't about her, it's about the subpar food I just indulged and the minutes of my life I can't get back writing this review and eating those tacos.

placed an order that was never delivered. called four times and they would not help resolve the issue. finally had to call my card company and dispute the charges. they will never get my business again.

Best steak burrito in the city. Solid customer service. If you go in person it's especially great being fresh AND then you get their amazing homemade warm salsa with chips.

Had taco pros delivered through my corporate lunch service, fooda. The burrito was the perfect portion, size and ingredients were fresh. Standard rice and beans on the side with the combo. Whatever the green sauce was was delicious. Overall a great lunch, and very filling for a reasonable price of around $14. Thanks taco pros!

Maybe these people are pros at making tacos, but I ordered a quesadilla and a burrito and it was some of the worst food I've ever had. The chicken was extremely dry and cut up into tiny pieces. There was no amount of sauce that could have covered up this dryness of chicken. I'm not sure if there was cheese on the quesadilla either. TL;DR - chicken is dry

Happy Friday everyone, I just got done working, I had a craving for some authentic Hispanic cuisine. I went to Taco Pros and I saw they didn't have chorizo on the menu and I guess it wasn't on the menu for a late afternoon order, however they allowed me to get chorizo with the torta. Best Hispanic food I have had for awhile really good bite. Seating is available in all the locations as well as take out.

Ordered takeout. Food was meh, and not worth the $20 for four tacos. Can't speak to the customer service, but the ambiance of the place seemed nice enough.

I've only ever gotten delivery and the days that it's but one get one carne asada taco and they are so good !! All of my work friends and I highly recommend this place . We're all picky Mexicans .

I never leave reviews but the food was so ridiculously bad i had too. Worst rice, beans, tortillas, and meat possibly in the entire state. If you hate well seasoned food this is the perfect place. Everything tastes and smells like it came from under the sink especially the beans.

The steak tacos from here were super yummy. They come with onions, lettuce, cilantro, and diced tomatoes (can ask for without of course). If you choose a meal for $12.99 you can get a side of fries and a soda or beans and rice. You order your food at the counter, but they'll bring the food out to your table. When you eat in they also serve you with a bowl of chips and salsa. Took off some points for the peculiar salsa. It came boiling hot, with steam and everything!! We also had to ask 3 separate times for a cup of water. The first time, the girl gave the water to the wrong table, second time she approached us and asked what we were waiting for, and then she sent the manager whom asked us the same (what we were waiting for).

I discovered this place two weeks ago and I think I've already been there 8 times at least. Lol. For price and quality, this is as good as it gets. At some point in recent history, every place in my neighborhood thought I'd be a good idea to change 6 bucks for a taco. I blame it on the trendy joints like Big Star, Antique Taco, Takito, etc. None of which are traditional. Like why are you putting radish on my taco? And for whatever reason traditional places around here followed suit. I typically travel to Pilsen to get my fix. But then came my saving grace, Taco Pros! For the record, it takes more than a reasonable price to patronize me. Their food is excellent and consistent . The meat is quality. Always comes out hot. Good cuts. I love the way they lightly fry the tortilla. Large portions. The last time I was there I ordered a nacho and I was only able to finish half of it. They bring you chips and salsa which are also delicious. I honestly have a hard time believing a place like this exists in my area. With the price of everything skyrocketing everywhere, this place feels like I walked into another dimension.

We used to spend a lot of time in Mexico City, and this place is pretty much on par with the best tacos we have had there! The staff at this location is great, and the tacos were just amazing - flavorful, great portion size, and with all the right accompaniments - lime, onions/cilantro, and even chips and salsa at the beginning. The tortillas and the meats felt high quality and we will definitely be returning to this location. One thing to note is that the other locations don't compare and are just average. They didn't bring out the chips & salsa at all, as well as the accompaniments - lime etc. The staff & atmosphere there felt less professional and not really up to standard. However, this Ukranian village location is a gem. Keep up the good work!

I decided to try this place even though it looks cursed (it's always empty and Taco Pros is such a boring mall food court type of name) and the tacos were.....extremely okay. The chips and salsa however, were exceptional!! The chips were super well seasoned which I was not expecting, and the salsa was warm? I've never had salsa served warm but it was realllllllly good. 5/5 chips and salsa 2/5 tacos

Great Tuesday value. $5 for two tacos. We each got an order and shared order of rice and beans. Came with incredible chips and 3 delicious salsas. Entire food bill was $12.50.
