Yelp
Wow! most amazing taco experience so far. This is my new favorite after Pedro's and puesto in Bay Area. Quinoa salad love love love and I also tried veggie tacos one with tofu and one with sweet potato and kale. Hats off to chef ‍ I definitely see myself coming here many times.

Yelp
$13.25 for a small portion of queso, $17.50 for a Cadillac margarita, $7.50 per taco. Gulp. Service was good outside on the patio and the food came out quickly. The carnitas tacos were so salty but the shrimp tacos were tasty. We miss their cheese and nopal tacos!

Yelp
I've been to Tacolicious a few times, and recently went back for the first time in over a year to pick up a takeout order. My friends and I ordered a variety of 10 tacos, guacamole, queso, salsa, veggie chips, and refried beans. I placed the order online and it was very easy! The order was ready when I arrived (and I'm going to be honest, I was very glad about this because I had double-parked and was trying to get out of there ASAP lol). Everything was packaged very well and held up through the 30-minute drive to my friend's house! We really enjoyed all of the food- especially the carne asada, chicken, and carnitas tacos, and the queso! We also loved how they provided plenty of chips to go with our dips. I also really liked the veggies they have available as chips- it was actually really delicious and refreshing, especially with the guacamole. During my previous dine-in experiences, we have ordered margaritas, and we always order pitchers because they are so good! The ambiance inside is very cozy and fun, and there is also outside seating available which is nice on a day with good weather. Overall, a great place to meet friends, or great for takeout!

Yelp
TL;DR: Solid, fancy taco spot with something for everyone. A tad bit on the pricey side, but fun atmosphere and tasty food (don't sleep on the $13 guacamole) to justify a 4 to 4.5 star review. Came here this weekend to watch March Madness and was able to sit immediately at the bar. Make sure to have a reservation for a Saturday night if you have a big party unless you want to wait an hour. In addition to the free chips and salsa we splurged on the guacamole, which was more than good enough to justify the price. Perhaps the beat guacamole I've had in the Peninsula. After stuffing ourselves with chips, we ordered 6 tacos (pictures attached). They are quite filling; two were enough for my girlfriend, and I was full by the time I finished my third (and I can eat a decent amount). The carne asada tacos were definitely my favorite. Overall, this is a fun spot to check out on a date night or with a group of friends. We spent just under $100 for the two of us, which would have easily been more had we both ordered a drink. If the food was a bit less expensive this would merit 5 stars, but I think Tacolicious is in the same quality and price class as a Puestos.

Yelp
It's been a long time since I've had such a delicious meal. We stopped in as Happy Hour was beginning. Superb tacos, and the soup was a highlight. For non-alcoholic delight, try the Mia. Spicy and flavorful, hit the spot. Service is attentive and prompt. Lots of Gliten Free available too! Parking was easy on the street. Eat inside or Al fresco near the heaters. A+ in every way.

Yelp
My colleague and I grabbed dinner after work during a weekday around 8 p.m. Ambiance There is a good amount of outdoor and indoor seating--a modern, vibrant, and relaxed vibe with the decor and furniture. Service We were seated quickly since we arrived an hour before closing. The staff were attentive and quick. FOOD -Margaritas x2 -Guacamole -Four tacos (Baja fish x2, spicy shrimp, chicken tinga) The complimentary chips and salsa were good. The guacamole was fresh, albeit lacking onions and lime. It was pretty bland. The tacos were disappointing. The Baja fish had no flavor whatsoever. The only thing you could taste was the heavy-handed cumin crema, albeit you could not taste a trace of cumin at all. The spicy shrimp was overcooked and dry. It was not spicy or even a hint of mild spice. The only taco that tasted decent was the chicken tinga. Overall, the food was presented beautifully, although very mediocre and lackluster. This is a solid 3-star place to catch up with a friend over appetizers and drinks. Pass on the tacos.

Yelp
Fish tacos are mine And my daughter's favorite. Used to have some albondigas as an appetizer was my favorite, I wish they would bring those back.

Yelp
Excellent service, delicious tacos and drinks, what is not to love about this place?! We went for a team dinner and everything was great, highly recommended for group events.

Aidan G.

Yelp
Seriously good food, but I almost badly hurt myself on this piece of metal in the guacamole. Completely unacceptable.

Izzie L.

Yelp
The tacos were big portions! My boyfriend and I ordered 9 tacos between the two of us and it was quite a mission to finish. The meat to shell ratio is nothing to laugh about-- they definitely use a heavy hand when filling these up! It was mostly meat and not a lot of flavor, I wish they integrated some more sauces in the tacos in favor of less meat. Unfortunately when we went, the service took more than 45 minutes after we ordered. We had to check in on our own order after 30 minutes. The restaurant was also empty, and the couple that sat down 10 minutes after us received their tacos almost 10 minutes before we did. Overall a decent place for tacos. :-)

Sarah C.

Yelp
Great 10/10 customer service! Great food and clean restaurant. Highly recommend. Big long bar for wide drink options

Avivi W.

Yelp
Very disappointed at the quality of tacos here, they were SUPER overpriced (one small taco smaller than my palm was $8, a very small bowl of guacamole the size of my palm was $14), the taste was so mid and all the salsas literally tasted the same. Not authentic at all and do not recommend. Service is not great and also, when it comes to tipping the waiter literally stands right next to you staring at you, and the only options for tipping were 20%, 22% or 25%. We ordered 6 tacos and 1 guac and the bill costed like $93.

Peter S.

Yelp
As it relates the food, the tacos, chips and salsa are great awesome. Additionally, I found the strawberry agua fresca to be very refreshing! However, the service was a huge miss which is the reason i'm giving 3 stars. Two friends and I dined here late on a Friday night. We were seated right away which was good. But my main gripe is how long it took for us to get our drinks, chips and salsa which came out almost at the same time as our taco entrees were served. Typically the chips, salsa and drinks come out first and served shortly after sitting. Lastly, I enjoyed the agua fresca so much that I ordered a second one but unfortunately it was forgotten about and it never came. In the end the wait staff made it right by comping our drinks but I would've preferred to just have better/consistent service to begin with.

Taufiq H.

Yelp
Wow, what a wonderful place you get some amazing salsa and chips to start decent beer on tap and amazing amazing tacos!! It's not cheap, but it's well worth it in the service is awesome

Bianca L.

Yelp
We're regular diners at Tacolicious! Always enjoy the free chips and salsa before our meal. All tacos are great - my favorites are fish, mushroom, and birria. All their mocktails are pretty good too. This time the kitchen was backed up and our food came super late. Good thing the chips and salsa kept flowing . Our server, Omar was also kind enough to offer us free margaritas next time we come back!

Rohan B.

Yelp
Stopped by during the Happy Hour on Friday. Complimentary chips and salsa was nice. Happy hour margarita was ok-ish and Happy hour Sangria was horrible (we barely finished couple of sips) Veggie sunshine taco was ok. Although we intended to have dinner but we left after this. Nice ambience and plenty of indoor/outdoor seating.

Moshabeer H.

Yelp
I ate here with 7 other people. The tacos were pretty expensive and bland. Each taco does have a lot of meat, however it was overcooked for both carne asada and chicken. My main gripe here is that there was a hair on two of the four tacos I ordered. I asked the staff to take the two tacos off the bill. I did not ask for them to replace the tacos since I lost my appetite. Just before leaving I asked the staff a 2nd time if the tacos were removed from the bill, they confirmed. Upon reviewing the bill, we were still charged for the tacos. The ambiance is nice inside. They did make some great margaritas. But besides that, I did not think this place is worth to go to for a group dinner.

Devi K.

Yelp
We enjoyed lunch here today. The complementary chips and salsa were delicious. We ordered 6 tacos (they are very small, but we were already filling up on the chips and salsa, lol) - our absolute favorite was the mushroom with crisped kale. The tacos were served with pickled onions and 3 amazing salsas (habanero, chipotle and tomatillo). The cod, carnitas and cauliflower "chorizo" were all pretty good. Horchata was delicious, and the Mucho Gusto cocktail was also tasty. Outdoor dining is pleasant. The music inside is WAY too loud for indoor dining. Service is mixed - long wait for spicy salsa, some wait staff are odd/stilted, bordering on rude. Prices are high for teeny tacos served in a single taco layer, but it's Palo Alto :). Overall a good experience. I will be sure to return for those mushroom tacos!

Naina M.

Yelp
I got a bottle of salad dressing from them for 10 bucks because I liked the dressing in the Marina girl salad. I asked them until when it can stay in the fridge... they said one week. Can anyone finish a whole 12oz bottle of dressing in one week?? They didn't tell me about the shelf life when they charged me 10 bucks. What a waste. Also the vegetarian taco options are abysmal. Service was also not great. No water refills. P.S. Check your credit card charges after you eat here. Our credit card got charged $39 for the salad dressing instead of $10. Luckily we checked the credit card statement. We called them and they corrected the mistake. Hope this is just a one off!

Tim H.

Yelp
Got the 4 tacos for $25. Ranked from best to ok: Guajillo Beef, Carne Asada Vampiro, Fried Cod, Carnitas. Nothing was bad or extraordinary. Tacos are small, but loaded with meat. Comes with 4 sauces which they just described as mild to hot as you go down the row. Complimentary chips and salsa were decent. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Typical downtown parking. Overall, I would not go back. Over $6 a taco is overpriced and I feel like the cheaper tacos at any reputable taco truck or taqueria are just as good if not better

Ben H.

Yelp
Good tacos. Fun atmosphere. It's really that simple. It's a great spot for a quick bite to eat at the bar, or a larger meal with friends and co-workers. The staff is helpful and accommodating, especially for big taco orders with different mix-ins.

Ana V.

Yelp
I came here with a bunch of friends. There are some nice staff and the ambience is nice. However, it is just okay. Tacos were over 5 dollars each and nothing special and you would need 3 to 4 each. Soup was too expensive for just a regular "bowl". Also, I needed a toothpick and they had none, so it was just not helpful. It was clear that this place is a chain with workers, did not have a lot of soul.

Miriam A.

Yelp
Tacolicious is one of my favorite places to come for delicious tacos and a tasty margarita! They tend to get busy on the weekends so I would recommend making a reservation ahead of time to skip the wait. Great place to catch up with friends in downtown Palo Alto! I like to try their different tacos but will always order their Baja-style Pacific Cod because of how perfectly battered their fish is with their added cumin creme on top for lots of added flavor. For the avocado lovers, you MUST TRY their Fried Avocado taco which is something I have never tried anywhere else! Overall, their entire menu is filled with rich and tasty ingredients.

Reena L.

Yelp
First and last time unfortunately. This place was very hectic and not too accommodating for our large party of 14 (90% of our group have disabilities, so call in beforehand and let them know that information I guess). Our waitress only checked in with us once in a span of 35 mins. She had only brought chips and salsa to the table. I made it super easy and simple for her by writing everything down before even arriving to this place to make sure everything goes smoothly and there's no confusion but apparently they could not accommodate our orders and suggested we take them to go? Uhhh. It was just very unpleasant all around.I believe their seating system is also an issue. Our waitress was running around very flustered and when she finally got to us we were able to order and I asked if she could please remove the plates and cups at our table because we did not need them and they were just taking up space and she replied with "I'll get to that when I can, I'm hella busy". Just a very weird and odd experience.

Bill F.

Yelp
The tacos and salsas were tasty, no complaint there. The ambiance was hip and cool. Most of the drinks were good but the "Mia" burned the throats of everyone who tried it (something is off with that one). Service was slow; even though we ordered drinks first, they arrived when we almost finished eating. Most galling was the $4 "Employer Mandate" charge on the bill. This appears to be an additional fee for no particular reason. As if $7.25 tacos, $7 sodas, and $13.25 guacamole aren't enough to turn a profit, they add an "Employer Mandate" charge too? I imagine they hope people just won't notice, but it's the kind of thing that's off-putting to customers and I hope they stop. Raise your (already high) prices if you must, but don't just add fees that don't equate to any product or service provided.

Yelp
Excellent Service and Food! Ambiance was perfect! So glad I went to this restaurant. If I'm in the are again I will definitely go back. The house margaritas are delicious. I loved the shrimp and carne asada tacos too.

Becca R.

Yelp
The service was great in the beginning. Lots of different servers checking on us. Our appetizer and drinks came out fast. But then.. After waiting for 20 min, we asked to check on our food and found out the server forgot to put our order in. Service went downhill from there. Our meal was then brought out quickly. You could tell it was thrown together. My friend ordered tacos and I ordered the bowl. The quinoa was crunchy in the bowl, not cooked at all. We then were basically ignored. The check came and everything was charged, we were hoping something would be compensated. They did give us a coupon for one free taco but with an expiration date of a week. I don't think I'll be going back even to get the free taco.

Qinnan L.

Yelp
I came with a few friends to watch the US vs. England World Cup game, and had a great time! Tacolicious is showing all US and Mexico games, with some special food and drink menu options. The restaurant has two TVs above the bar and a good sound system. The best thing we ordered was the nachos (a special for the World Cup) - heaping serving of nachos, cheese, guac, and flavorful chicken for just $9! We also ordered a selection of tacos (shrimp, chicken, fish), which were all quite good. The only disappointment was the Brussels sprouts - which was undercooked and lacked flavor.

Yelp
I am currently sitting here writing this . I had miscommunication with the bartender - he directed me to the manager (Samantha) - she was a doll, an absolute pleasure.. Samantha took care of me like I was someone she knew - like family. Samantha went above & beyond with her outstanding customer service.. Little did she know my brother has been in Stanford Hospital for 6 months... hence the reason why I was in the Palo Alto area to begin with. Her kind hearted soul really showed me that there are people in this world that are kind with best intentions.. especially when you're going though things in life .. Mind you she had NO IDEA what I'm going though. She was just kind as a person. Super sweet and genuine. Bless her heart. I wish nothing but the best for her. I will definitely come back just for her. As far as food, which is also amazing!! I love their chips & salsa - plus their happy hour deal do check it out. At the end of the day we ALL work soo hard for our money and we want to be respected...! If you think otherwise then this place isn't for you lol.. I'm all about customer service and good food. So if you're about that life then you NEED TO COME HERE!!! Thank you Samantha

Rickie B.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this place while waiting for my car to be fixed... came inside kinda warm, quaint vibe. Ladies enjoying the patio area, just the start of happy hour sat at the bar and the lovely Samantha (manager) served me a vodka tonic. Shortly after the A/C kicked on and the place cooled down quite a bit. If your looking for a nice vibe, cool patrons, music on point. Come checkout this place...

JoAnn Y.

Yelp
We came here in search of Sunday brunch. There was no wait and we were seated immediately. Service was speedy and friendly. The salsa with the complimentary chips and salsa was excellent! Not too spicy and well blended with a nice mix of herbs and spices. The kale salad had a nice kick to it. The tacos are smaller, but they tell you this. Guajillo beef and standard carnitas tacos were delicious.

CAScuba Y.

Yelp
Good taco, really good margaritas, spicy margaritas was the the best·。wish there are more meat choice for their taco, the place will be off the chart if there are lenqua and babacoa. Salsa was really good, ask for extra spicy stuff, they won't give you a bottle but some really good house made sauce. Great happy hour place

EM H.

Yelp
My first time at Tacolicious was with a couple of friends during Happy Hour on October 7, 2016. We didn't stay for very long; we had about one cocktail and one taco each. In all honesty, at the time, this restaurant didn't interest me much because I found the food to be too gringo. Since I began my love affair with Baja style fish tacos, though, I have had a recent change of heart after my second visit on September 25, 2021... The restaurant has indoor & outdoor tables, counter seating with two functional televisions at the bar, and an open kitchen with a view of the cooks busily preparing plates. Patrons will appreciate that the venue is well kept and clean. The wall that faces the street is made up of windows from floor to ceiling, providing natural light and a fresh air atmosphere. The tacos are, well, tacolicious. My personal favorites are the baja style pacific cod and the chicken tinga. Mom's favorite is also the baja style pacific cod. Surprisingly, she enjoyed the carne asada, but was not a fan of their traditional carnitas, a usual top choice of hers at other places. If you are big on beef, try the guajillo-braised beef taco. At $5 to $5.95 each, the Tacolicious tacos are yummy, but a bit on the pricey side. The drinks are not as exciting as the food, unfortunately. I ordered the horchata cold-brew housemade which was perfectly sweetened, but it was missing the fantastic factor. Mom ordered a watermelon margarita. She said that there was "nothing special about it." Service is very friendly and nice.

Jason F.

Yelp
During a Saturday stroll with coffee in hand, we practically fell into, "Tacolicious." Well, what do you know, they happen to serve some incredible chips and salsa. However, we were eager for something more to fill our bellies. Ordered a Chicken and Lime soup and a healthy Kale salad. Soup was a bit salty but salad was delish. Still leaning towards their signature crunchy tacos, we decided on the Filet Mignon and Quail egg soft taco. Impressed!

Giavanna A.

Yelp
Fun location in Palo Alto and quick service but left me wanting for something more. The carne asada tacos were delicious but the service was lacking. Asked to be seated a bit away from the speakers in a clearly empty restaurant around an early dinner time and was told they could not accommodate.

Todd B.

Yelp
Wife and I went to tacolicious today for happy hour. It was excellent. Oscar made our visit flawless and totally fun. We had the special tacos, dips, and a few glasses of the sangria. We were on the early side, just after the 3:00 start abs the service was at Tegra but not intrusive. We loved the queso dip and crunchy tacos the best!!! Will absolutely be back for more sangria and will sit outside next time. Thanks Oscar!!

Ranjan P.

Yelp
First time here, and we can never go back because other than the tacos, nothing is edible. The tacos save this place from being inedible. The tacos are good, but nothing else could I choke down. Their "guacamole" is a mashed avocado with no garlic, no salt, no shallots no onion, no lime juice, no nothing, no spices and absolutely no flavor. If you expect to get a smashed avocado, you'll be appointed. I am confused: how does this place not know how to make a decent guacamole? Isn't it basic? How do they run this place and mash up an avocado and have the nerve to cal it guacamole? And charge for it? I don't get it. Maybe I'm missing something here. I'm no cook or chef, but geex, my guacamole knocks it out of the park. Because it's not hard to smash up a beautiful avocado add a few blend of aforementioned spices, kick it up however amount of spicy notches your palate can handle--and voila! But this place can't handle it. Their chicken "soup" was dishwater with chunks of insipid chicken and slices of avocado floating on top. Clearly, avocados they got plenty of back in their kitchen. The watermelon tomato salad was mealy and yuck--insipid without sweetness watermelon and nothing about that plate begged for it to be eaten. I took a bite and left the entire thing. I didn't have the heart to send it back, because frankly, I would have at the point sent every. Single. Damn. Thing. Back. Awful. The grilled corn was peppered with a spice of some sort and not my thing. To be fair, there was nothing intrinsically wrong with it, just the flavors were not there. The beans were your average serviceable refried beans, as was the rice, nothing to write home about. The tacos--pescado, pork, chicken, and soy "chorizo/potato" were good, really good. The ;after, the soy/chorizo potato was too dry and needed more moistness, but other than that it was okay. Their pineapple coconut non-alcoholic drink was overpriced, e.g. basically pineapple juice in that I could taste zero coconut. The service is efficient and fine, the prices way too much for the quality of the preparation (or lack thereof), and the ingredients are fine, but geez, the first half of the meal I was sooooo hungry ... just something not right with this place. One positive thing: their little assortment of slasas they bring out, from left to right and from most spicy (habanero) to least spicy--a green avocado based salsa, I loved--ummmm, because it gave me a chance to get flavor on something.

Xiaoying S.

Yelp
Came here for lunch with a big group of ppl to celebrate the end of our program presentation. We stayed here for quite a long time and ordered lots of food! My fav is certainly the watermelon cheese salad, with both good visuals and flavor. The rest of the dishes were ok but not impressive.

Brian B.

Yelp
Tacolicious in Palo Alto is a fun time! It's not a large restaurant, so if you come during peak hours (Friday and Saturday nights) you may have to wait before you get seated. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the margaritas here are especially tasty. I ordered tacos here (I felt obliged to do so, given the name of this place!) and really enjoyed my meal. This is a fun place to go to for margaritas or food with friends or your significant other. Plus, its located in Downtown PA so you can stroll the main streets and explore other places in walking distance.

Kurtis S.

Yelp
Solid 4 Star experience, to start our server was excelnt and was helpful with any questions we had! We tried a variety of tacos to really get a taste of the place but the Taco especial was our top choice of the night, while the fried Avocado taco was fun and tasty, the Baja Cod was fresh, both our beef and pork tacos (while flavorful) were a little dryer than expected - which we mentioned to the server who appreciated the feedback. The sauces they brought out did help enhance the flavors of all the choices but be prepared for spice with the habeñero sauce. The chippies were a crispy treat to start the meal paired with fresh salsa and our Mia (iced tea, guava, lime and agave) was refreshing and crisp. We decided to have fun and try the churros at the end and these were hands down some of the best churros we have had and paired with the chocolate dipping sauce enhanced their crispy/chewy texture. We'll likely be returning to try more and give more options a shot!

Rebecca C.

Yelp
3.5 stars Nice ambience. Ines (my 16-month old infant) loved the salsa music. Solid: Albacore tuna tostada - very tender tuna, love the crispy flakes on top. So-so: Pescadero fish taco special - fish was a bit too chunky for a fish taco. Definitely put salsa and onions on there to spice it up SKIP: Chicken lime soup: too sour. Not edible. I asked for hot water to dilute it down - 1 part soup, 2 part water and made it bearable. Probably should have sent it back in hindsight. Chips and salsa is great and complementary.

Rosa M.

Yelp
Love to come here to meet up with friends. It's a lively place with indoor and outdoor seating. They have great drinks and food! Staff is always super nice. Haven't been here for happy hour yet but their happy hour menu looked great

Marcela S.

Yelp
Okay this spot is mostly for drinking and socializing. Food is super expensive and not authentic and it's not good either it's just decent.. you may find it good if you don't know about Mexican or Latin food! I've only been there because someone invited me I would never spend my own money to eat at tacolicious

Tanvee S.

Yelp
I love this place!! Went here last night (for the second time) with a few friends during happy hour and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The margaritas are some of the best I have ever had and the food is super tasty and flavorful (with good portions and good sauce options) but Zach, the manager, is what made the experience great this time! He checked in on us personally numerous times, allowed us to order some more Happy Hour menu items even a little after six (because we had been sitting there a while) and came and hung out with us/took pictures with us! The COVID measures are very safe and well enforced! We had a group of 8, but they made us sit on two nearby tables of four and served us all at once, provided us with that "large group feel" but enforced that we had to stay at our tables! They did a good job of keeping us safe while letting us hang out in our group! Would definitely recommend this place! And definitely try their happy hour menu items!!

Tina L.

Yelp
Go Palo Alto Tacolicious! We will forgive you for not writing down all the names for our orders. Coordination must be hard during lunch rush. Poor colleague picked up our food and had to come back and write who the order belongs to. Not cool! As I am taking bites of my bowl, filled with shrimp rice and beans. Shrimp doesn't look fully cooked though so I hope the loot does not call my name later! Sauce drenched over, chili verde and the hot sauce over it all is pretty tasty. Expected more in my plate. The portion is definitely small but it's pleasant and I usually go for the tacos here but in SF. I'm a city homegrown native so trying this place out is the first and it's meh, not bad. I'm content for now. Happy April Fool's Day (~_~)

Alice Y.

Yelp
Definitely worth a visit if you're ever in downtown Palo Alto! The servers are extremely friendly and the service is decently fast. The taco platter allows you to try different tacos and they give you free chips & salsa! Would recommend the beef and the spicy shrimp tacos The music is quite loud, but it's all part of the experience.

L T.

Yelp
We miss Tacolicious in Santana Row, so when we're in Palo Alto we always make a point of grabbing craft margaritas with excellent tequila, tacos, chips & salsa and guac. Yesterday the manager Samantha gave us an amazing appetizer sampler plate with my Marina Girl salad and Sal made the perfect margaritas. It's not just the amazing quality of the food and margaritas, it's the service that will keep us coming back!

Jeff H.

Yelp
This is a 3-star restaurant - the yelp ratings have got it right. Super bright lights, freezing AC (because the kitchen is warm I'm sure), greasy mediocre chips (good salsa tho!), flat beer. It's just so/so. 3 stars is accurate!

Leee D.

Yelp
Tacolicious is delicious!!! But who didn't know that? I have had two stellar experiences with Tacolicious. The first was in-person, and it was so memorable that I wanted to order from them again! For my first time, in-person experience at Tacolicious, I went with a large group of around 8 and Tacolicious seated us at one of their long tables with booth and chair seating. The interior design as well as outdoor seating area was beautiful and clean, and the ambiance at Tacolicious was very lively, happy, and bustling with people. (In general, every time I pass by Tacolicious, it is ALWAYS packed with people and all the tables are occupied.) The staff were super warm and friendly! The menu is very friendly for both sharing with others in a group as well as individual eating. I had tried Tuna Tostada Contramar-Style (tuna with chipotle mayo, avocado, crispy leeks); the Chicken Tinga taco with lettuce, cotija cheese, and Crema; and the Spicy Shrimp taco with chipotle, Crema, lettuce, and habanero-pickled onions. All their tortillas are made in-house daily using fresh, organic masa produced by their friends at Mi Rancho! Obviously, the Tacolicious tacos are delicious - I wish I had ordered more that time. To fulfill that lingering desire to have eaten more foods my first time at Tacolicious, I had to order from them again! This second time, I ordered for delivery their Chicken-Lime Soup - wow it really hit the spot! This fresh soup held tender pulled chicken, juicy cherry tomatoes, grilled corn, sliced avocado, rice, cotija cheese, red onion, and cilantro. The taste of all the individual ingredients as well as all together were perfect, the different textures from the components were pleasant, and the soup itself was visually inviting and bursting with color. The order also came with a side of tortilla chips and salsa. Consistent with their great service when I ate at Tacolicious in-person, the delivery came in a beautiful Tacolicious bag, and they took care to securely package the delivery. Not a drop of the Chicken-Lime soup, drop of the salsa, or crumb of tortilla chips leaked out during transit. I was thoroughly impressed. Tacolicious is a one-of-a-kind, fantastic experience that satisfies all your cravings!!! I'm not surprised that Tacolicious has also won numerous awards for their food, as well as for their service and community spirit in the Saucy Awards, which is an event billed as "the Oscars of food". I would definitely recommend going to, ordering from, or both going to and ordering from, Tacolicious!!! Update: I am adding pictures I took of what Tacolicious looks like in-person because I happened to pass by. These pictures were taken at night. You can see that Tacolicious is beautiful!!!

Yelp
Honestly maybe the most underwhelming meal I've had. I only gave it 3 stars because the service itself was good. Unfortunately, the food (aside from the free chips and salsa) was sub-par. I got the taco Tuesday special and it was $22 for 6 crunchy shells and unseasoned ground beef. We got diced tomatoes (not even pico de gallo), shredded lettuce, and some yellow cheese. It felt very much like a meal I could've easily made at home, and quite flavorless. There weren't even onions or cilantro. Even though the staff was so nice, and I ultimately had a nice time, I just can't recommend this place until they fix the menu.
