"In late June, David Lee closed the Nob Hill location of his fast-casual Korean-Mexican fusion restaurant Tacorea, telling the San Francisco Standard that “a perfect storm of everyone leaving, tourism down, [and] working from home” made it impossible to keep selling tater tot-stuffed burritos in the city." - Lauren Saria

"Great taquerias are all over town, but Tacorea is the only one serving burritos stuffed with kimchi and tater tots. This small counter-service spot mashes up Korean and Mexican flavors for bulgogi beef tacos, meaty nachos, and rice bowls overflowing with spicy pork. And because service is efficient, you’ll be in and out quickly so you can get back to more pressing activities, like climbing hills." - Lani Conway

Super fun menu with Korean ingredients. Lots of flavour and very indulgent. Massive portions! The wet burrito is an interesting alternative to all the other burritos in SF. Much easier to eat with a fork and knife. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Big smiles all around ☺️

Great little hole in the wall. Super casual spot to grab a bit on date night or with friends. The vine was relaxed with pop music playing. The cooks are right there in the front making the food fresh. The food's freshness and flavor profile was unbelievable! Definitely stop by here if you're in the area.

What the hell did we stumble upon? This place is delicious. 15$ each thing on the menu, and they're all amazing looking. I had the California Wet bulgogi burrito. Fu** yes. How have I never thought to combine the two when cooking at home? It's amazing. And my beautiful partner had the spicy TaterTotchos (tater tot nachos) and they were full, fantastic and delicious. There's a sign outside that reads "If you're in a hurry and expect it fast, you're at the wrong place" fully support this sign. Let's eat.

Ordered the El Super Burrito with bulgogi and it was delicious but it could use a bit more seasoning. Portions were huge - I would suggest sharing with a friend. The nachos and salsa were also delicious. My friend also ordered the Super Tater Tot Nachos with carnitas and the tater tots were incredible - so crunchy and delicious.

Just commit to either getting Korean food or Mexican food. Pretty average. Wouldn’t come again. It doesn’t taste Korean at all, nor does it taste like an actual burrito. The beef Bulgogi is too sweet and overpowers everything in the burrito. Also, wish they used more Korean ingredients, it just tastes like a below average burrito that someone put Bulgogi in. As for the kimchi burrito, it was a little better, but still leaves me wanting stronger flavors that aren’t overpowered by the rice. Also don’t think black beans are the best choice of beans in the burrito. Also quality is not that good, I found a bay leaf in my burrito.

Google
I’d rate this one of the top meals of my life. It was so good. I had the spicy pork bowl and had some kimchi on the side to try. Heavenly Korean taco fusion. Go here. Arrive five minutes before opening to be guaranteed a table. Your food will come out piping hot and super fast. Seriously, go here. You won’t be disappointed.

Korean Tex-Mex fusion (Chinatown Outlet) Interesting combination of Korean and Mexican flavours. The staff are super friendly and the food was filling and tasty. It was really wonderful to see them making up the salsa verde from scratch in the store!!

Google
Tacorea is a very unique spot for some delicious fusion cuisine. The spicy pork was delicious and it worked well in a taco. The burrito was large and the spicy pork rice bowl had really good portions. Also, tater tots with salsa kinda slaps, didn’t expect that combo to be so good. I like the easy going vibe of the restaurant with a mix of indoor and outdoor seating. Definitely recommend making a pit stop here for a quick bite. The staff was very friendly as well, kudos to their creativity.

Yelp
The food and people at Tacorea were awesome. Always a great experience and good vibe - sad to see it's closed.

Yelp
The end of an era. A bit ago, Tacorea announced they would officially be closing in SF so I was able to visit them on their very last day within 15 min of their final hours. Typically my go to order has always been a California burrito, sub bulgogi instead of Kanye asada. Due to limited available ingredients, they only had asada California burritos available, which I ordered wet with a Jarritos. First off, the burrito is huge. On top of that, it's well loaded with a proper portion of ingredients. I rarely ever get wet burritos but this time, it seemed right. The salsa on top was flavorful with a mild heat. Chip accompanied the burrito and dipped perfectly in both the salsa and chunks of burrito that fell off while eating. Even though it was Tacorea's final moment of being open, the energy inside seemed very positive. The staff was energetic around all the customers and still ensured a high quality of service was available. Thank you Tacorea for the 5+ years I've had the opportunity of enjoying you!

Yelp
This place doesn't have much seating so I usually take it to-go. Everytime I came here, I usually ordered my meals with the Korean meats which I recommend. Complimentary chips and salsa come with the meal. This time, I doordashed the kimchi burrito with the mamas spicy marinated pork and the quesadillas with the spicy marinated pork. I definitely enjoyed the quesadillas more especially with the salsa. For the kimchi burrito, I wanted it to order it wet, but the option was not available on the doordash app. I definitely will order it there so I can eat it on the spot. It is definitely very filling and tasty.

Yelp
Farewell Tacorea. :'( I saw on Reddit that they were closing this week, so of course I had to go out with a big bang and do a large lunch order to show them some goodbye lovin'. CALIFORNIA BURRITOS for everyone @ the office! The tater tots add a really nice crunch to the burrito. I actually think I like it more than rice. I hope y'all come back someday. :(

Yelp
Came here on a weekday, just a few minutes after opening. We just beat the dinner rush and managed to get some seats, which there aren't many of inside. Just a few minutes after getting to our seats, we saw the dinner crowd beginning to really line up. This place has a lot of great looking options, and I went for the California Burrito. I'd been craving some tater tots so this felt like a good choice. The burrito itself was great, with a healthy amount of those tater tots, meat, and guacamole in each bite with everything blending well together. I also had a bite of the kimchi burrito. Until then, I didn't know how much I'd enjoy kimchi fried rice in burrito form which probably indicates how much I like those 2 foods. You'll leave satisfied by the burrito size and side of chips. Overall, the burritos were good and Tacorea was definitely worth checking out.

Yelp
After walking for what felt like hours, we stumbled upon Tacorea by chance (well, by Yelping the nearest place for food). The small restaurant was somewhat uninviting, but the number of people coming in and out was reassuring, so we decided to give it a shot. I ordered the Bulgogi beef tacos. The order was finished fairly quickly, and the NBA playoffs were playing on the two TVs mounted on the walls to keep us busy while we were inside. The food was good! I was a little nervous about my order, as I'm not usually a fan of fusion items, but the Bulgogi wasn't too sweet and tasted great with the "zalza" they provided. Also got a side of tater tots, which I haven't had an a decade. All in all, I was pretty happy with my food. I wouldn't make a special trip out for it, but if I'm in the area, I wouldn't mind stopping by again.

Yelp
If I had to choose a "Best Burrito" in SF it would, hands down, be the California Burrito from Tacorea. (The Breakfast burrito is bomb, too!) Not to mention their salsa is also THE BEST in the city! California burritos are typically not my preference as I'm just not used to a burrito being so huge and full of everything! (I grew up on simple little burritos.) This burrito is full of steak (Kanye Asada), pico de gallo, guacamole, sour cream, and crispy tator tots that truly make this burrito so epic. This restaurant does not skimp on serving size and there's never been a time I've been that the owner is not working along side his employees. Service is always top notch, quick, and super friendly. It's really a neighborhood vibe and I love that. Seating is limited and there's still a parklet outside. There is a fun selection of sodas and beer to choose from and there's a tv that always has sports on. It does get busy during peak times so be prepared to wait in line or take your food to go.

Yelp
Limited seating inside. Bathroom inside kitchen. The Big Ricardo $18 // pricey but huge portions easily enough for 2 meals. It was good! I was not a fan of the sauce on top though, salty and doesn't add depth to the burrito. Salsa was a bit spicy and not good, basically had to just throw the chips away since I don't like it plain. My friend said the kimchi pork burrito is good too.

April P.

Yelp
Bulgogi kimchee burrito Sub rice for tots Generous on size Good for 2 meals worth the $15!

Vanessa M.

Yelp
Decent place for takeout / quick bite of Korean/Mexican fusion. Expect burritos / bowls. Food (3/5) - Got the spicy pork bowl. Two others in my party got the wet california burrito and another got the kimchi burrito. My bowel was decent, the egg was just runny enough and the fried edges were crispy. Portion was large, could've made two meals for me, probably. Price (4/5) - Around 15 per dish, pretty decent as far as SF goes. Ambiance / Service (4/5) - Typical taco place, fairly clean, has a bar for sauces, a few high tops and a big booth. They have outdoor seating as well but it didn't seem heated. Staff are friendly, service was pretty fast.

Yelp
Came here on a rainy Saturday. Parking was a bit of a challenge but is a given when in the city. The place was cozy but also had a park let. We we're greeted warmly as we entered the restaurant. The employee was friendly and efficient. We ordered kimchi burrito and totchos. Chip, nacho, and meat ratio was good. Flavors were on point. However, the spicy meat was not as spicy as I had anticipated. Overall, good food and good customer service!

Yelp
Mediocre is what I would describe my one-time experience as, and I honestly can't recommend this place. As a Korean person, I was excited to visit a fusion Korean-Mexican place. I checked out all the photos and reviews online and decided I'd get either the California burrito or Big Ricardo. I arrived at the place a few minutes after they opened at 5pm. There was no line, so I asked the server whether the red enchilada sauce was spicy. He said "no not at all, it's tomato sauce". Really, tomato sauce? I thought it was made with red chilies. He then went on to say yes red chilies but kept saying it was sweet. I also asked him how spicy the "hot salsa roja" was and he said "not very spicy, in the middle". I played it safe and chose the California burrito ($15 including tax), and asked the server once again whether he recommends the steak "kanye asada" it comes with, or beef bulgogi. He said the steak is better and the bulgogi is sweet. (I mean for a Korean-Mex place, shouldn't you be advocating for the Korean BBQ meats??). I followed his advice (to my demise) and got the order to-go -- it was ready within minutes. The salsa was given to me on the side and thank goodness because it IS SPICY (and this is coming from someone who's used to Korean spice). To my disappointment, the burrito was very average tasting - the "steak" was really low-grade chuck: tough to chew and chunky. It was practically bland and the flavors overall were very muted and plain. Nothing special about it. My burrito was also missing any cheese. The flour tortilla was also very tough to chew, the toughest I've ever had for a burrito. Coming from the East Coast, I thought Mex food would be better in California. This place doesn't quick steam their tortillas like the burrito places do in Boston which makes it 100% better. The steak meat I've had in burritos on the East Coast are also more tender than here. Tacorea also has 1000+ reviews but I noticed after the fact that most of them are from 5-6 years ago so maybe this place has gone downhill in quality since then. Portion wise, it'll fill your stomach but I think it's really lacking in flavor.

Alice S.

Yelp
I've gotten the kimchi burrito here a couple of times (both dine in & to-go), and this burrito never disappoints! The bulgogi is nicely marinated, and the kimchi adds a punchy flavor to this deliciously executed fusion item. My partner also enjoyed his carne asada super burrito, and the tots we shared were tasty as well. Complimentary chips and salsa also come with each order. The salsa roja was a bit underwhelming, not spicy, and tasted like mass produced store bough salsa. But hey it's free, so no complaints!

Michelle K.

Yelp
This place is the perfect fusion between Mexican and Korean food! I think they do a great job at incorporating both into one dish and it tastes so good. I tried the Kimchi Burrito and the Wet Burrito! I love spicy pork and bulgogi so that's why I went with these two. All burritos come with a side of chips and salsa! I've tried several Mexican and Korean fusion restaurants before and this was definitely my favorite! The flavors are so good and the meat is delicious! I would definitely come back for their Kimchi burrito. Each dish is around $15. A bit on the pricier end but the portions are huge! I also appreciate how nice the workers and the upbeat and lively ambiance of the restaurant.

Yelp
A couple of us came here for dinner last night after attending a Yelp event. I never knew/heard of this spot until one of the girl's introduced it to us. The restaurant isn't big, but it can sit at least 10 inside. There wasn't a line when we arrived, which was great. I was debating between the California Burrito vs the Kimchi Burrito but ultimately ordered KB because I wanted to try their kimchi. For the price that I'm paying, I was expecting the burrito to be bigger but I guess we have to consider inflation + SF rates? Other than that, it was very tasty and the rice was very soft. I normally don't order burritos because I don't like how dry it is, but I'll definitely be back again to try another item on their menu.

Yelp
Korean Tex-Mex fusion (Chinatown outlet) Interesting combination of Korean and Mexican flavours. The staff are super friendly and the food was filling and tasty. It was really wonderful to see them making up the salsa verde from scratch in the store!!

Yelp
Beat food we had during this short trip to San Francisco. The taco plate was excellent, the Ricardo burrito was amazing, and the kimchi burrito was really great. A little spicy and some really tasty spicy pork inside. The guy at the counter was super friendly and the food came out really fast. We sat in the outdoor seating and that had a great open air feel. Can't wait to eat that again.

Benny W.

Yelp
This is a nice divey place for lunch or dinner. I ordered the Tacos and Tots, California Burrito, Super Carnitas Burrito, and the Tacorea Kimchee Burrito with Carnitas. I didn't use my Yelp Check-in prize, which was a free hug from one of the employees. My wife would not approve. The items were all freshly made to order. They have a couple of big screen TV's so customers could watch the game. Indoor and outdoor seating is available.

Janine C.

Yelp
Being new to the city is so exciting because you get to try new places - find a hole in the wall, discover new flavors and of course meet new people. One of my friends mentioned this place and shared how this place is one of the best places in the city for burritos. Now, I'm not a burrito girl but I do love potatoes (which this place has plenty of), nachos, tacos, etc. On my first stop I grabbed a quesadilla to play it safe. Now that smacked. And the portion was so good, at the end of that meal I had plenty of chips still and one slice of quesadilla left. Also there was a cute cashier there but that's another story (and you know I had to come back). I finally had time to come back last week and was pleasantly surprised to find that they also serve rice bowls. I contemplated on getting the burrito but opted for the bowl because how could I say no to a runny egg yoke? Highly satisfied and the prices are moderate. Only downside was that cute guy wasn't there but I believe I met the owner. And to that owner I want to say thank you, you have such a great storefront (indoor and outdoor seating), friendly and happy staff members, and of course, high quality food. See you soon!

Yelp
Clever name and clever meal options. I didn't even realize the meaning behind the name until I saw their sign indoors. Super cool Korean-Mexican fusion restaurant that was perfect for lunch! Most menu items are $15 (Yelp prices seem to be outdated) but you definitely get your money's worth. Only thing is that I only got a small handful of tortilla chips with my California Burrito. Forgave that, though, because of their salsa. Atmosphere overall is pretty cool. Great music and nice decor. They have a retro coin op sticker machine up front by the cashier. There weren't any available when I visited 12/12/2022 (unclear if high demand or just low supply??). The stickers they have for the shop look super fun and I hope to grab one soon! The few that I saw around the shop had some NYC/hypebeast vibes which I sur3 was a fan of. Very happy to have stumbled upon this place via Yelp. Will come again! Check in on Yelp for a fun treat (definitely the most unique check in perk I've seen)!

Paolo B.

Yelp
First time trying this place after walking by it a bunch of times and decided to go with a the super burrito with the spicy pork. It also came with a side of chips and small container of salsa. The burrito itself was good, the spicy pork was flavorful and the fusion of it all definitely shined and was one of the better fusion burritos I've had. It says there was was supposed to be guacamole and sour cream but it was super minimal and barely noticed any of it so the burrito ended up kinda dry. While it was still tasty, not a meal that I'd crave on a regular basis $15+ tax &tip, definitely normal for SF prices. Paying for my meal felt kinda sus, considering they were only taking venmo OR cash because allegedly the payment system was down. Using venmo to pay for a brick and mortar restaurant feels off, but when I didn't have enough cash and I was hungry, it got the job done.

Sabeena B.

Yelp
We found this spot while roaming around the city before we got drinks. I got the lil Kodak quesadilla which had tater tots inside of it which is something I've never seen before. This place revolves around tater tots which I think is pretty unique. I enjoyed my quesadilla but it felt like it was lacking in the freshness. The salsa that came with the meal was the real star of the show for me as it had so much flavor that worked well with the quesadilla. The space itself was small but had decent seating. The service was also good!

Tien N.

Yelp
Really enjoyed the Korean and Mexican fusion here! We spent 2 hrs sitting outdoor and chatting. Food are delicious and filling. The tater tots nacho with Bulgogi was tasty. It can be a bit oily for one person to consume all. The burrito was yummy. I loved the salsa and crispy chips. I would totally come back here again to try other dishes :)

Gabe P.

Yelp
The concept of Korean and Mexican fusion hasn't occurred to many, but when executed in this fashion you wonder how it's not more popular! The bulgogi is sweet and savory and about as good of a protein option as you could offer for any dish. Talking breakfast burritos, why wouldn't you use tater tots in it? Best breakfast burrito you can get. I recommend with guac and do it with half bulgogi and half bacon. Not the typical taqueria because it's TacoREA and it's amazing. (4.7 Stars)

Andrew R.

Yelp
My friend recommended this place, and I was pleasantly surprised with how great the food was! I ordered the tater tot nachos, and they were delicious! I loved the unique concept and fresh ingredients, and the tots were perfectly crispy and never got too soggy. I will absolutely be back to try the burrito next time, because it looked amazing. The staff were also so friendly and the food came out lightning fast, and the outdoor seating is a great addition to the restaurant. 10/10 would recommend!

Brian F.

Yelp
After bar hopping since 2pm it was finally time for some dinner and I was starving, and a burrito usually cures that. Tacorea is a Korean and Mexican fusion spot that serves burritos, quesadillas, and bowls with a variety of Korean meats. Located on the corner of Bush and Mason, they have some indoor and outdoor seating although it's not a big place. They also have a second location closer to the Chinatown and North Beach area. I got the California burrito ($14.70) that replaces fries with tater tots which is their specialty. The first impression that I got was that it was a very creamy burrito. It's definitely not dry between the crema, the salsa, and the guacamole. It was on the pricier side but was a good burrito that hit the spot. To be honest, the name of this restaurant is so clever I can't really get over it. Between the combination of taco + Korea as a play on words signifying Mexican Asian fusion or the fact that it's a homophone of taqueria, it might just be the best restaurant name of all time. It's just perfect.

Matt Y.

Yelp
We came to Tacorea after cocktails nearby at Wilson & Wilson. I had heard of this place some time ago, and was intrigued, as I like both Korean and Mexican cuisines and prior to visiting only imagined how wonderful their synthesis would be. It turned out to be wonderfully glorious. My wife is a quesadilla aficionado, and asked the server what the best meat was for this. He suggested the spicy pork. And he was correct. Her spicy pork quesadilla (which she lovingly shared with me) was the best quesadilla I've ever had. I was more exploratory in my order (andalso wanted to continue my quest for the city's best carnitas), so I ordered three tacos, one each with carnitas, kanye asada, and bulgogi. All were good, but the bulgogi was the best (and I would be curious how this would taste in a quesadilla). So long story short, this place is delicious and I recommend it (especially after some cocktails). I intend to come back and experience what magic they do with tater tots.

Claudia P.

Yelp
Yum yum yum yum yum. As a lover of good Korean and Mexican food this place seemed right up my alley. Fusion between the two with loaded breakfast burritos or kimchi burritos?!? Yes please!! My partner and I ordered both burritos, and the size and cut in half made it super easy to share and split so we got half of each. The tater tots in the breakfast burrito were amazing and the kimchi was so good in the other. Outdoor seating was a bit limited but it wasn't too crowded so we were able to get lucky grabbing a couple seats. Overall would definitely recommend and come back again and again!!

Misty L.

Yelp
Delicious Mexican Korean fusion food and good outdoor/indoor seating vibes for a casual night w/friends. Ordered the Super Burrito while my friend order the pork bowl. Large portions for sure, we both had leftovers for another meal. 4/5 Super Burrito: The Super Burrito was quite good!! Nothing special in terms of flavor, but filling and delicious nonetheless if you're looking for a classic, high quality burrito. 3/5 Pork Bowl: The pork bowl was also good. I'd probably prefer going to a Korean restaurant though in Japantown rather than here for a rice bowl if I had time. 4.5/5 Tater Tots: The tater tots were PERFECT! Crispy and comes with A LOT for sharing. A bit oily, but to be expected. Overall, nice spot for a full meal and for drinking, hanging with friends :)

Michelle H.

Yelp
I was extremely excited to try this place because it combines two of my favourite cuisines: Korean & Mexican! I ordered takeout on a Monday evening and brought it back to my hotel to devour (so please don't mind the lousy hotel photo). After MUCH deliberation, I ended up ordering the Kimchi Burrito because it seemed like the most "fusion" item on the menu. Though I was impressed with the size of the burrito and the fact that it came with chips and salsa, I was honestly a tad disappointed in the burrito itself. The kimchi / whatever Korean sauce that was used was far too sweet and it overpowered the burrito - in my opinion, the Korean twist clashed with the Mexican ingredients. I really wanted to love it, so was a little sad that I didn't. But this might be unique to me, because I'm ethnically Korean and also a little bit of a burrito snob. I still gave Tacocorea 4 stars because I believe this place has potential and I would still go back to try the California Burrito or Loaded Breakfast Burrito (which were my secondary choices and they sound like they'll be much more up my alley - tatertots inside of a burrito sounds like a hit to me)!

Vanessa D.

Yelp
Not good as I expected. I ordered the bowl with pork and beef. Both were tasty. Staff was super nice. Forgot to check in at the time, I would have gotten a hug if I had. I think next time I'd get a burrito rather than the bowl. It just wasn't spectacular

Renato U.

Yelp
Cool vibes, great staff, fast service, and generally very very good food. Tacorea delivers!! With some caveats. VERSUS!! Can't decide which to order? Loaded Breakfast Burrito vs Kimchi Burrito WINNER: Loaded Breakfast Burrito!!! So delicious, fresh and well balanced burrito. Top 5 breakfast burritos in my life. My biggest gripe with the Kimchi Burrito was the texture of the rice- it was a little bit too al dente. It tasted fantastic, and was beautifully crafted. Both had perfect grill lines and sharply cut. Service was fantastic, staff was friendly and super cool. Why did I dock a star? A bit pricey, $30 for two burritos is slightly expensive. I understand SF premiums and inflation, but it's about 8% too expensive. And I can't get over the rice al dente. I really wanted to give this place a 5/5 but couldn't. Also, don't forget to check in for your free hug from Jae.

Sandy L.

Yelp
In a pretty convenient location with a small dine in area. We stopped by around dinner time on Friday and luckily snagged a table. Friendly staff and quick service. Fun ambiance for a quick meal I tried the kimchi burrito and subbed the spicy pork for the Kanye asada. As someone who loves kimchi, I felt like the burrito was over reliant on the kimchi and I couldn't get any of the other flavors

Ewa U.

Yelp
Why not 5 stars: the prices are great, the meat variety ample (I'm talking bulgogi!) and salsas muy caliente! Bonus: the Korean fusion really does add that extra flavor we didn't know traditional Mexican cuisine needed. With cold beers for your taking- come here if exploring Sf's downtown area before heading out on the town. Service is fast and ambiance is low key but v welcoming. Cheers

Janice C.

Yelp
Oh hey Tacorea! You're conveniently located a stone's throw away from my favorite bar (PCH!) which means solid sustenance before the liquid imbibing that comes after. I chose the Tacos n Tots combo ($14) and it came in a sizable portion with two choices of meat. I just wanted a Bulgogi so I stuck with that. I loved the tender juicy steak with a hint of sweetness that's balanced out by the salsa verde, onions and cilantro. The tots are freshly fried and provided me with enough fats to soak up the 4 cocktails I consumed at PCH. I asked the amiable staff why they don't serve margaritas (licensing!) but they do have a fridge stocked with cold beer and water. I guess it's just as good that they don't offer margaritas since I would've been in big trouble the next day! ;)

Tabitha C.

Yelp
We just tried this place a few weeks ago and have had it multiple times since. Love mostly everything here! The burritos are HUGE, creative, and satisfying. I personally prefer the more manageable quesadilla. For the meats, I've tried the carne asada and carnitas so far. Carne asada was a bit tough and the carnitas were fantastic flavor-wise but dry overall. Still good, but not quite perfect. Nothing a little guac and pico can't fix though! Because most items have tator tots (genius), the items can get a tad bit greasy, albeit still delicious. This isn't a problem if you are able to eat the food immediately, but it really is not as good if you order it through DoorDash, etc. and don't get to dig in until it's already cooled down. The base price of each item is also multiple more dollars expensive via the delivery apps. Not worth it at all, just go in person. Service is very quick. The food here always makes me crave a bottle of Mexican Coke. They currently only have a small section of Jarritos a few little sad cans of soda. They definitely need to add Mexican Coke and margaritas to the menu! I would pack up everything and move in immediately if they did.

Yelp
After landing here in SF, I was really craving a solid burrito. Glad I came to Tacorea. + The sweet pork super burrito was filled to the brim. And as a side note, the way they wrapped it was artfully symmetrical & secure. I've never been so impressed with tin foil wrapping before. + The burrito itself came with a side of chips and salsa. It was more than enough food for my starved self after a 7 hour flight. The sweet pork definitely was sweeter than I thought it would be, which was good--just wasn't really what I was craving since I was going for spice/savoriness. + I was eyeing other people's orders and also really was interested in the quesadilla + the California burrito. If I return, I think the addition of tots in the burrito would have been a welcome addition. The super burrito felt pretty consistent in texture throughout and I wanted something larger/chunky in the middle to break up the eating experience. + They were attentive in their service. I ended up eating outdoors with my to-go burrito & they came out with water and a plate (to catch all of the rice falling out of my incredibly full burrito).

Yelp
I didn't want to go here as my first option because I wanted tteokbokki at this Korean snack resto nearby, but my little sibling brought me here and I'm glad I went. I got the super kimchi burrito. It was my first time trying a korean-mexican burrito, so I had low expectations. I was delighted to find that the kimchi and spicy pork blend really well together in a tortilla wrap. They provide their own salsa sauce as well as have a station for hot sauces (sriracha, cholula, etc.) The person working the register recommended getting the california burrito and substituting the meat to bulgogi, so I'll be getting that next time.

Yelp
Ended up picking up food from Tacorea - and really enjoyed what I had. I had heard of this place for a while and really enjoy Asian fusion food so thought why not check it out. Once there ended up ordering: *spicy pork quesadilla - this was delicious and also was filled with tator tots which I personally loved. It also came with salsa, guac and sour cream which added more flavor *kanye asada california burrito - this was delicious and one of the best burritos I have had- this was flavorful and I loved how the tator tots brought out some crisp and crunch Overall me and the boyfriend really enjoyed the dishes and would love to go back!

Yelp
Food: 4 Decor: 3 Service: 4 Been here about a dozen times since I've lived in SF. California burrito, 10 Crispy tater tots, Kanye Asada, Pico de Gallo, Guacamole, Hot Salsa Roja, Shredded Cheese, Sour Cream Pretty good. My go-to order whenever I come here. The tater tots mixed in give it a nice taste and texture, and it's complemented well by the salsa roja and pico de gallo. Service was good, although it's a more casual spot and pick up from counter. Only issue is I sometimes get heartburn from the burrito.

Yelp
Love the fusion options and everything on the menu sounded good so it was hard to decide what to get! Got the California burrito and the tater tot nachos. Food came quickly and it was nicely presented. California burrito- so many ingredients and the tater tots gave it a nice crunch. The burrito overall had lots of flavor, so delicious! Tater tot nachos- got them with bugolgi, which was well-marinated and cooked perfectly (tender and not burnt). Tater tots were crispy and loaded with toppings. Really good price point for the quality and serving size. Will come back to try other items on the menu!

Yelp
Banging fast casual Korean Mexican fusion spot in nob hill. Burritos/Quesadilla with a Korean twist. The California Burrito was massive and can easily be split in half for an afternoon snack. I was able to sub the chips for extra tater tots and add extra veggies. The employee was also super sweet and brought out a plate when they saw I was eating it at a table outside instead of to-go. Highly recommend for a quick bite.

Yelp
Get the cali burrito with bulgogi instead of chicken. The flavor combo is unique and tasty for sure, and the place was quite crowded on a Saturday night. The burritos are overpriced for the size though (I was able to finish the whole thing where I can tackle only half a mission burrito on a good day) and I'd skip on the kimchi burrito personally.

Yelp
AMAZING! Two of my favorite types of food fused into one! The kimchi burrito is to die for if you like kimchi, poke or burritos! This will be a regular spot over the bridge for us to visit. My fiancé loved the california burrito. Everyone working was friendly and happy. Cannot wait to come back soon.

Yelp
David, the man, not a myth, but a pure legend when it all comes to all things Asian fusion. Tacorea has been the best place that has happened on Bush street for many years. It brought our NobHill community together, it brought people together through his food. The flavors from the first bite to the last makes you wanting to skip your diet and go for more. Every burrito made, has been made with love. Being able to also order a burrito (they have plenty of more options) and take it to other bars where they don't serve food has been a huge plus!! I wish more places were like Tacorea. Simple, easy, made to order, and perfect sized. I'll be buying a few tonight and freezing them for when I have not so great days. Please stay, we can't afford to loose you. You put Bush Street on the map and it wouldn't be Bush street otherwise. At the end of the day, GO GET YOU SOME TACOREA!!!

Yelp
Best Burrito of my life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In Vegas we're limited on good burritos. When I found this place on yelp the reviews looked amazing, but I was hesitant on fusion food. I was proved wrong in the first bite. First thought that came to mind in that first bite "BEST BURRITO OF MY LIFE" will definitely be coming here every time I am in San Francisco. Update: Went back to San Francisco and this was the first stop.

Yelp
I was staying down the hill from Tacorea and I was eager to try SF's take on Ko/Mex fusion. It was a Tuesday night but the place was busy without being super packed which I took as a good sign. My work was done for the day so I decided to eat there and they had a covered space outside. I went with the El Super with the 'Kanye Asada;' you can just say Asada and they'll understand and you don't have to feel dumb and I got a Jarritos from their cooler while I waited in queue. The burrito was ok, a little on the sweeter side. even for Korean food that often run on the sweeter end of the flavor spectrum. The hot salsa didn't have too much heat either, but it was filling and ok. It dawned on me later that with my choice of filling I ended up paying about 14 bucks for a straight Mexican burrito, no fusion involved which wasn't up to snuff and a bottle of Jarritos.

Yelp

The fusion of creatively creates an explosion of flavors that will leave you craving more. From their mouthwatering tacos to flavorful burritos, every bite is a delightful symphony of perfectly balanced ingredients. What's even better is that it is budget-friendly, proving that exceptional food doesn't have to cost a fortune. Treat yourself to an unforgettable culinary adventure without breaking the bank.
