Their tacos and horchata are yummy! I tried their chorizo and bistek and both are delicious and juicy. Service was also fast for our group of 6 at night. Everyone enjoyed their food. They can also make the corn tacos crispy if you asked for it. It was only $18 for everything. Super affordable.

This place has authentic Mexican food. We ordered one chicken taco, the gringa Al pastor, the Alambre which has bistec, bacon, cheese with green peppers and onions. The food was delicious and tasteful. The prices and customer service were great as well. We’ll be back soon.

Tacos El Barrio is truly a hidden gem! I live an hour a half away and come up just for the Tacos de Pastor. Leticia is the server during the day and she always greets me with warmth and she knows my order. The food is hot and delicious!! Hands down the best tacos in North Central Texas!! And if they decided to go up on their prices, it would still be worth it!

Finally had the opportunity to swing by and check out, “Tacos El Barrio”. I had heard many great things in regards to the family friendly service and most of all the authentic food served. Got the chance to try out their Tacos al Pastor, Torta de al Pastor alongside a couple of Mexican cokes, and Aqua de Horchata. After the first bite I knew I would definitely be coming back for another visit. From having your own personal green & red salsa to the exemplary customer service, “Tacos El Barrio” is the place to be!

Tasty food at great prices. Came by during a nasty storm with a tornado watch over the local Haltom City area. The food warmed me up and put us at ease. I had 2 Pastor, 2 Cabeza and 2 Tripas. We also ordered 3 bistek. The front of the building shows it's age a bit, just as the rest of the area where the restaurant is located. Don't let the storefront image discourage you from coming in and enjoying some great food by the kind people who work here.

This is a place my boyfriend and I like to eat frequently! Although it is very hole-in-the-wall (literally there are some holes in the wall), the food is so fresh and delicious, the staff are nice, and we never have to wait long for food. It is good value for what you pay. If you don't mind a sticky table or TV playing in the background, get yourself some alambre, lengua tacos, and an horchata. You won't regret it!

The service is great. The food taste awesome. Or like my kid say its bussin. They have a good selection of meat choices. Try it and you will definitely go back

Super excited and nice front cashier. Super happy in life and she was fantastic. Food was fantastic!!! Alambre she recommended for a hungry man like myself. The bacon with the steak was pretty awesome. Would come back even though they don't sell a burrito

Great service and great value! Yummy pork tacos for around $2 each. They come with pineapple, meat, onion, cilantro, sauce, and salsa. My torta sandwich came with LOTS of chicken! I had 1/2 the sandwich left over! Everything was super quick, fresh, and super delicious! Check this place out for authentic and delicious tacos and Quick mexican food!

Amazing tacos away from the stockyard crowds. So delicious, friendly service and really clean. They are my new taco joint.

Easily the best street tacos I've had, and the alambre was great too. The corn tortillas had to have just been made - when served, they were too hot to pick up. The best corn tortillas I've ever had anywhere. The pastor taco was flavorful, full of meat and pineapple, the steak taco tender and delicious. The alambre was something I'd never even heard of before, but it is going to be a regular on my menu from now on. Steak, bell pepper, bacon, and melted cheese with just made tortillas? Yes indeedy. And again - the beef is of a much higher quality than any of the other taco joints I've tried, and I've tried dozens. This is my go-to place from now on. My wife is very picky, and she thinks as highly of it as I do. They blow every other place away.

By far the bes tacos in DFW. The tortilla is small like it should be and the meat is fresh. I drive 36 miles one way just to eat at this place.

Great customer service!! The food was on point. We order chicken tortas. The bread was as super fresh, meat wasn't fatty and had bomb flavor.
