The Very Best Tacos Around Miami | Eater Miami

"While many people are convinced that tongue tacos are the thing to order at El Carnal, this hole-in-the-wall in the heart of Little Havana also serves up traditional varieties like steak and chicken tacos for just $2 a pop." - Olee Fowler

Tacos El Carnal Review - Little Havana - Miami - The Infatuation

"The small Mexican restaurant in Little Havana makes some simple, delicious tacos. They serve all the hits here: al pastor, carne asada, lengua, barbacoa, and more. They don’t skimp on the filling, and give you a small mountain of cilantro and onions on the side so you can sprinkle to your liking. It’s the kind of classic taco Miami needs more of. photo credit: Cleveland Jennings" - Ryan Pfeffer

Google
I recommend the guacamole and chips here it's nicely made , and las gorditas , and naturally made drinks are very good, as well as the service, however the atmosphere could use improving, and the rest of the food was ok. Come by to try it out ..u may like it you may not...

Food has never been a problem I’ve came here for years but they’ve always been very stingy with their Horchata. If you ask for no ice, you would think they’ll fill it up to the top. No, they’ll literally put it to where how much it should be with ice. 😂 whatever

Google
Authentic Mexican served by mostly Spanish-only speaking staff. Try the excellent horchata! A little bit of a walk from the Airport convention center, but worth it.

Coming from Los Angeles where we have the best Mexican food, I was skeptical about eating Mexican food in Miami. But my friends who lived there said it’s the best Mexican food in town. So I decided to try it and they were right, this place is so good! First off, if you’re staying in South Beach, this place is far! It’s in Little Havana so be prepared to drive. Inside of the restaurant was like a loud fun party and our server was great! She didn’t speak much English but had someone come to us and explain everything if we didn’t understand. I came in a group of 4 and we ordered guacamole, 3 carne asada tacos combo, tacos pollo, taco camaron, taco fajita de res, burrito pollo, and ceviche de pescado. Everything was really good, but the guacamole was exceptional. If I’m ever in Miami on this side of town I will visit again, but it’s not worth driving 30 min from Sobe. Still very good!

Fantastic Mexican restaurant with a delightful ambiance and lively music! Google Maps led me to this gem, and I couldn't be happier. The atmosphere is vibrant, the service is excellent, and the music adds the perfect touch to the dining experience. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Mexican flavors in a lively setting!

If you're in the mood for authentic Mexican cuisine, Tacos El Carnal is the perfect destination. This charming restaurant offers a warm and inviting atmosphere that's perfect for a night out with friends or a family dinner. The menu is packed with delicious Mexican dishes, from tacos and enchiladas to fajitas and burritos. But what really sets Tacos El Carnal apart is the attention to detail and authenticity in every dish. The ingredients are always fresh and expertly prepared, resulting in bold and flavorful dishes that are sure to satisfy. But the food is just one part of the experience at Tacos El Carnal. The restaurant is filled with colorful decor that creates a festive and lively atmosphere. And on Sundays, they have an authentic Mexican band playing music, adding to the already vibrant ambiance and making it the perfect destination for a fun-filled weekend outing. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, creating a comfortable and enjoyable dining experience. And with a wide selection of tequila and other Mexican drinks to choose from, you're sure to find the perfect pairing for your meal. Overall, I highly recommend Tacos El Carnal for anyone looking for a delicious and authentic Mexican dining experience. From the mouthwatering food to the lively atmosphere, it's the perfect destination for anyone who loves good food and a good time. So come on down, grab some tacos and enjoy the lively atmosphere while listening to the authentic Mexican music!

My friend has been trying to get me here for a while and he finally made it happen. We went on a late night run after some drinks and it didn't miss. Chips and guac were very fresh. I had the shrimp tacos which were good. Service was friendly and the late night atmosphere is what you would want if you're looking to keep the vibes going.

Yelp
Was looking for an authentic place to get some tacos after a long drive from Key West. Walked in and the ambiance was nice and the staff was welcoming. My first impression is that this is the cutest Mexican restaurant. There are three tvs and the main one was playing a nice Mexican music concert. FOOD: Tacos are amazing. We ordered carne asada and Al pastor. Both were so good but the Al pastor was so flavorful and delicious. Highly recommended! CAUTION: The extremely important thing that I would like to add is the at there are peanuts in the salsa at the table. As our second time visiting Miami, we're not familiar with all native cuisine. From Cali, we frequently eat Northern Mexico cuisine and orange salsa is popular. We are aware of mole having peanuts, but never heard of salsa de Cacahuates. Unfortunately, my husband is extremely allergic to peanuts! It's sitting on the table as an orange sauce with no labels. Please consider labeling or removing it from the table. As he started getting a severe allergic reaction, we left quickly to get his medicine. Luckily we didn't have to call an ambulance.

Yelp
Great food, pricey add-ons. The 3 tacos for $7 is the go to order to save money and get a good meal. Incredible carnitas, and birra. Definitely a worth while place if you're craving some authentic tacos in Miami. Service is always great, but a little slow sometimes. If you wave them over, there are no issues though. You're always treated well, and they can accommodate fairly large parties. Recommend highly for their tacos and limonada.

Yelp
Tacos El Carnal has quickly become my favourite Mexican spot in Miami. The decor is authentic, food is always delicious, the music is always perfect (all Mexican, all the time) , margaritas are strong & the service is fantastic; everyone is SO nice! I have been here no less than 15-20 times since discovering it & always had a wonderful time. Have brought many people here & they are also blown away. Do yourself a favour & come on a Friday or Saturday and get treated to live music by their amazing singer dressed in full mariachi regalia!

Yelp
One of the my favorite Authentic Mexican restaurants. Servers are nice but not super friendly or chatty, but everything comes out quick & correct. Which is the important part! Mexican music is always playing in the background and decor is bright and TVs always playing. My favorite has to be combo #1, which is a hefty mix of two crunchy flautas, a loaded chicken tostada, and a cheese quesadilla for 10$. Parking is complicated and limited, so be warned now!

Yelp
I had such a great time stopping by Tacos El Carnal for a last minute dinner. There was no wait (thankfully, because we were starving) and the staff was very nice and attentive. It was the middle of the week but all the staff was so energetic, even though there were only a couple other groups sitting. With the music, it really brought up the vibe. We ordered the queso fundido which was soooo cheesy. I ordered the burrito but I couldn't decide if I wanted green sauce or mole, so the waitress brought me some tasters of the sauce to help me decide. I went with the mole sauce and the carne asada burrito which was delicious.

Yelp
It was just ok. The food, the service, the prices. It wasn't that authentic and it isn't that affordable. The only thing is that the place looks like you are in a cheap establishment in Mexico, but not in a good way. It was disappointing because I wasn't under the impression that the food was real authentic Mexican food, but it wasn't that good.

Yelp
Our server was great! The food was delicious and authentic. As authentic as you can get. I felt like I was at ABUELA's house! Food tasted so fresh.

Yelp
First time at this Taqueria.....very authentic and very reasonably priced, we went on a Tuesday so it wasnt very busy, they have live music on weekends, would expect busier atmosphere. Server was nice and polite, had to call her over a couple of times, they tend to mingle near the door. We had the chicken nachos as appertizer, a couple of combination meals and all were delicious and portions were just right. Complaints 1) Speaker music was to LOUD, 2) Parking is a problem 3) Some of their social media sites have their old Flagler and 26 Ave location, told the server and she said "Oh yea we know"..WHAT...and they dont do anything about correcting the info???? Will still go back to the restaurant Bueno, Bonito, Barato.

Yelp
Came here with a party of 3 and ordered a carnitas nachos and the 4 taco carnitas combo meal. Both were amazingly made and came out fast. We were the first ones in on the dinner rush, and my waitress was very good at refills and asking probing questions on what we needed. 10/10 I'm definitely coming back!

Yelp
On the hunt for tacos after moving here from Los Angeles. So far, it's the closest I've found. Pastor tacos were on point. Carnitas were juicy and delicious. I got a rainbow of salsas with my order. The only disappointing one was carne asada, kinda dry, but not enough to make me take off a star. Will be coming back!

Yelp
Some friends invited us for some dinner and told us about this authentic Mexican cantina style restaurant off Flagler. We arrived and it was packed but with a simple atmosphere, they found us a great table close to the Mexican tenor with great vocals. We ordered their cheese dip with chorizo bits, beef nachos, steak quesadillas, and several tacos. The cheese dip was delicious with the right amount of gooeyness and the chorizo was bursting with flavor. The nachos were also very good with good chunks of beef and the right amount of cheese. The steak quesadilla had a nice crunchy exterior with tender steaks and cheese inside. When I thought this meal couldn't get any better than came my tacos, I decided to mix it up by ordering shrimp, fish and pork tacos. It was a spectacle of flavors and freshness, the shrimps were nice plumped, the fried fish moist and the pork had no words. For desserts we ordered their bunuelos which were seem like tortilla chips coded in cinnamon sugar with a vanilla strawberry ice cream with chocolate chips, a perfect way to end our meal. It looked like we found a great option for Mexican that does not break the bank.

Yelp
I was staying around the area and was not familiar with the area. Checked out the reviews and found this place . Had a cold draft Modelo beer and three Al pastor tacos. It had been a while since I had some good tacos. I sat at the bar. The service was quick , fast and efficient. Parking was a little challenging but manageable. Ask for Angel.

Yelp
New taco spot for our household! I've been meaning to try tacos el carnal for weeks now and today was officially the day. Started off with the guacamole(not pictured) I thought the medium was rather large even splitting it between 3 people, I would definitely get the small next time. The tacos were the star of the show!!! Every single one I tried was mouth watering and delicious... they all tasted extremely fresh as well. I will 100% be back.

Yelp
Was on the hunt for some late night tacos and somebody recommended this place. After arriving past midnight I was shocked to see how packed it was. Because of that we opted for take out instead. I got the barbacoa tacos while people in my party got chicken/carne tacos with queso fundido. The tacos were honestly average in flavor but the queso fundido was not what we expected. We had to reheat it at home because it wasn't that hot she the cheese was so difficult to eat. It practically broke your chip each time you tried to dip it. I don't see myself coming back as nothing really stood out but it's good if you get a late night craving.

Yelp
Service was great! Food came out very quickly. Prices here are very low, unheard of especially in this economy. 3 tacos for 7.50-11.50 depending on the meat. The modelos were $4, margaritas are 8.50, sangaria is 8. The tacos in my opinion were a lot better than the softas. Good hole in the wall type of restaurant.

Yelp
Delicious authenticMexican food that also has reasonable prices. Service is friendly and professional. This is the first of many many more times we plan to visit. I highly recommend. We chose this restaurant out of many in the Miami area, and glad we chose it.

Yelp
Our favorite taco spot in Miami! This is one of those businesses that has been a real treat to see thrive. They sure deserve it. They started out as a food truck and then had a quirky little restaurant on Flagler near 8th street. I went every single week and having lived in Mexico, found it to be super authentic in taste, service and decoration. I knew I had to come here forever one día de Los muertos where the owner was serving the calaveras food and we were all crying in the restaurant watching Coco. We sadly don't come here as often since it's further now that they moved to a new location but it's bigger, more sophisticated, has way more parking and has live music on weekends! The prices only went up a little but it's still cheap compared to most tacos in Miami. For $20 you can get yourself 4 tacos and a strong margarita. We always go for the Al pastor and carnitas with a side of guacamole. They have the freshest restaurant guacamole I've ever tried!! It's incredible. They have really great combo deals to share with a homie. The micheladas are also recommended and the nachos are a perfect meal if you're solo. Make sure to load it up with one of 4 housemate salsitas that they have table side. We miss the paletas! But besides that, I'm really proud of this spot and it continues to be the best tacos we've ever had in Miami! We'll follow you guys to the end of Miami if we had to!

Yelp
This has been my favorite taco spot for years! I used to go to them when they were on 8th St & 10th Ave and I continue to come to this location on a regular basis. You can't go wrong with anything here! Their chicken tacos are so simple yet so delicious! The sauce they marinate it in makes it my favorite taco. The staff is fantastic too! Everyone is very welcoming and the owner is normally there as well making sure things are going smoothly. I've also ordered their catering and they make it very easy to order and coordinate the pickup time. Highly recommend!!!

Yelp
Is better than going to denny's late night. Great place I highly recommend. Sometimes we are meant to stumble. And this time my stumbling. Did me some good found a hole in the wall. Thought that I was going to regret it. When We first arrived we saw the restaurant was packed and parking was not available. About fifteen minutes later, one of the patriots exited the parking and we were able to take his spot. This is a very small place that has a beautiful decorated bar to the left hand side and mid section. We were instantly greeted and told we can sit anywhere we wanted to. Service was outstanding and Quick. The waitress recommended the cheese with Chorizo. As a starter and let me tell you she was correct. The cheese was not greasy and the Teresa was not salty, very good. It was a company advice handmade chips. Then to our surprise we had a singer as you can see on the videos. The ambiance was authentic mexican. Ordered a couple of beers a steak burrito and five different types of tacos. The food was great perfectly seasoned not salty and presented very nice. Overall this is a great place to go relax listen to some good Rancheras. I highly recommend going to this place. And it's very convenient that they're open until four a m on fridays.

Yelp
En Ingles: The food is SO good. The waitresses are so kind. Classic mariachi music is playing, just the right volume. It feels like home. If you have been looking for authentic Mexican food and haven't found it in the Coral Gables/Miami area, you're in luck. This is the place. The Al Pastor is marinated so well, and the pineapple is tender. The corn tortillas are soft and sturdy. A slice of lime for each taco. And actually reasonable prices! The horchata is made by somebody who knows what they're doing. The food comes out so quickly and the quality isn't compromised. Not to mention they are open until 2:00 AM even on weekdays! I'm in tears. Since being in Houston, I have looked for a taco that were as good as the ones I tasted there. This is it. Thank you Tacos El Carnal. Gracias Tacos El Carnal.

Yelp
Found this spot late night. There wasn't a wait to be seated. The waitresses were great and came by to check on us frequently. I ordered a Combo #1 that came with a cheese quesadilla, 2 flautas and a chicken tostada. It also included guacamole, crema, and onion on the side. It was a great sized portion for $9. The flavors were really good. Definitely tastes homemade and fresh! I'm looking forward to come back and try some tacos.

Yelp
Great authentic Mexican food at a decent price. The only thing to not have it be 4-stars. The staff didn't speak English very well at all and the to-go containers were not of the quality to reheat. Thin paper and aluminum foils. Otherwise the food was great.
google avatar

Charli C.

Yelp
Good tacos and great service! I've dined at the other locations over the years and my first time to this location. Tacos served with corn tortillas which I love. Taco served with lettuce, pico de gallo, but you can order additional things like cheese, crema, guacamole and so forth for extra $. They have four different salsas to choose from. I enjoyed the orange colored one. We ended with churros for dessert and man were they delicious filled with caramel and served hot with chocolate drizzled on top of all that cinnamon goodness. I'll be back again.

Yelp
Was a late night in Miami having flown in for work and needed a bite to eat. Looking thru my phone for places still open I stumbled upon the list to Tacos El Carnal. Was close and still open, so I risk it. Was not a mistake. This is authentic mexican tacos. A small place in a strip mall just south of Miami International on Flager, not only are the tacos great, they are open until 2:30 am. So even late at night, you can get some great mexican. The primary language here is spanish, but who cares when the food is this good. I ended up having 5 tacos, they were all excellent and authentic. I sat at the bar and the bartender was very pleasant nice and attentive, as were all the staff it seemd. Round that out with a decent beer list and this place is a winner.

Yelp
I've been here twice now and both times have been good. The first time we ordered a medium guac with chips. It was a really big portion and very tasty. They also give you a selection of four sauces to dress things up as you like. Then I ordered a combo meal that included a cheese quesadilla, 1 chicken tostada, and 2 Chicken Flautas. I was not crazy about the tostada, and the flautas didn't really do it for me, either, but the cheese quesadilla was really yummy. I do not care for El Carnal's crema at all. It tastes more like mayonnaise, and has the same texture as well, so it's a hard pass for me. The second time we came I ordered a steak quesadilla and was very pleased with that, and my friend ordered 3 steak fajitas that looked yummy and I'd like to try next time. The prices are fair enough, and service is ok but is on the casual side. Our waitress did not speak English and as we started to speak she simply walked away. We were left feeling confused. Luckily she returned a minute later with an English speaking co-worker. This place is open very late night, which makes it a cool option for a late night meal after doing some drinking or what have you, and I would recommend a stop in :)

Alex D.

Yelp
Don't really recommend the place. I like my quesadillas toasted, not soggy. Ordering through the to-go window was pretty convenient though.

Yelp
Authentic Mexican food close to MIA airport and opened late! We dined in- the vibe was fun and service was super attentive. We tried a couple of different tacos, chips and guac, and a gordita. Would definitely come back, especially because there doesn't seem to be a lot of good late night food options in the area other than fast food.

Yelp
We were so excited to find an authentic Mexican restaurant in the area that we decided to go today even though it was pouring and thundering. Although the service we received from the waitress was ok, the prices and the food did not meet what we were expecting. The place seemed good but the food was not as good. We were charged even for the chips they served us prior to eating. The cachete tacos were not what we expected and seemed overcooked and extremely dry. The only two things we can recommend is the beef soup and the nicely chilled Corona beers. That was it. Beware - the starting tipping rate is 18% and above. Would we go back? - not in our wildest dreams. Do we recommend - nope, not at all.

Yelp
Food was mid ... to charge $4 for a taco that didn't even have a double tortilla was outrageous. I'm hispanic and speak fluent Spanish and the server had such a hard time understanding what I was ordering and brought out the food wrong. Our "appetizer" was chicken nachos that were $9 and it only came with 8 tortilla chips........ anyways. The main dish was tacos for both my partner , I asked for steak tacos for him with only cilantro no onion and still brought them out plain , forgetting the cilantro . The steak was not juicy and the taco was pretty small , again most places put double tortilla for that exact reason because the meat is juicy and this place did not. I've had better for much cheaper. Now moving onto the dessert . We ordered churros which were small in size and it was four churros for $4 . I asked her if they had ice cream and she replied "chocolate" so I'm guessing she meant chocolate syrup and asked if they had caramel. She again only replied "chocolate" so I asked if she could just put the chocolate on the side . Why I would think that she understood that ? Idk. The churros came out with chocolate drizzle on top and I took one bite out of the churros and did not like them so I asked if she could just take it off the check since we wanted to leave . She did offer to bring another set of churros the right way and I just wanted the check so I declined the offer. If you stuck around long enough you're going to enjoy the ending . The server seemed to be having a dispute with the manager about my check so I got up to see what the problem was. Once I stepped next to them I overheard the manager say "she's going to have to pay for them regardless since she ate them ." I interrupt and state that I did not eat all of the churros I only took a bite to try them to see if I liked them and I did not. She went to the table to see if I did eat them and stated that she could bring another set out . I declined the offer once again and stated we were just ready to leave . Manager said we would still have to pay for the dish and she could just bring a new set of churros to us or the server would have to pay for the churros since we didn't want to pay. That clearly made no sense because she was offering to give us new churros wasting $8 of food instead of just taking the $4 off. I told the server to find a different place to work because this manager was insane. Would never go back, hate that I had such a bad experience here :(

Yelp
Service is horrible. Location has parking challenges - that's what you experience first. The food is ok, in trend with the usual mexican fare, nothing outstanding. The service? -- that's where this review goes downhill fast. The server was polite, not rude, just seemed like she needed more training (and maybe common sense). We ordered Sidral but she didn't know what it was, ended up recognizing it as "de manzanita?" (the apple drink?); brought us two glass bottles with a straw and left, had to wait for her to come by again to ask for glasses with ice. We ordered tacos al pastor and chicken tacos and very clearly told her NO ONIONS ON THE TACOS, leave these on the side. We got two baskets of tacos drenched in onions. When we immediately told her we had said no onions, she paused, and asked "oh, do you want me to exchange them?" -- of course we do! We got tacos with no onions, but the wrong ones (got carne asada and chicken, no al pastor) - the problem is she would drop off and leave so rather than wait again, we just began eating. At the point when she did come by we told her she brought us the wrong tacos and she brought us the ticket and blamed the kitchen. We ordered to go tacos and again a drop off and leave. Had to wait to get her attention again to get the check. My bill was $47.35 -- she brought back my change back short 65 cents -- not a significant amount by any means, but a server should make certain that the proper change is returned, no matter what the amount is. Competition is fierce with Mexican restaurants like this. We won't be coming back here.

Yelp
Don't waste your time coming here. These have to be the worst tacos I have eaten in my life. The chicken tasted old, the tortilla had no flavor. Even the chips and guacamole had no taste.

Yelp
Went on a Friday night. I'm not a fan of this particular location because the parking is atrocious! However, once you go in, you're greeted by a live performer and welcoming staff. There was a language barrier, but the menu had pictures, and Google Translate went a long way. The food was good and pocket friendly. The decor is nice, and there are lots of picture worthy spots since the walls are decorated with various pieces of heritage heavy art. If it wasn't for the parking, I would have given this place 5

Jill A.

Yelp
The restaurant has authentic Mexican food with a large variety of dishes. Live music on the weekends. It is always full, you should talk to other places in front and their owners to facilitate parking.

Yelp
Classic tacos and reasonably priced... When I'm in the mood for tacos and in the area this would be the go to for tacos.. Very authentic and better than the tacos in Mexico

Yelp
My first time at this restaurant and the food was AMAZING! We got the 5 taco platter with guacamole and pico de gallo all the tacos were delicious ! The service was also amazing our waitress was knowledgeable of the menu and was very nice and patient with us ! The ambiance was a little slow due to it being Wednesday but they did advise Thursday -Sunday they have performers and the ambiance gets really fun! But they still had nice music you can jam too . Overall a good hole in the wall this is def my new spot to come for tacos !

Yelp
Always great attention, delicious authentic Mexican food and affordable. I've become a regular to this humble restaurant !

Went to eat here for lunch today. The food was very greasy and they did not have sour cream for my quesadilla so they added Mayo instead. The service was not that great either. We waited a long time for our check that we had to flag down our server. My father ordered 3 tacos and a tamale and only got the tamale. We will not be coming again.

Yelp
Cash only spot. So lets just get that out of the way before people get all bent out of shape. I wasn't expecting much and I will say I ordered tacos only. Some times were asking a lot for them to have all that stuff on the menu when really a good taco is what you need. So this place for me is A TACO SPOT. I will one day take the adventure into other items but for now the tacos are really good. I would love better tortillas but they use the same bleh tortillas that most taquerias in miami use. There are very very few with good or passable tortillas. These are whatever bleh. But the variety of meats is great and I wasn't unhappy with the salsas although I would prefer more and spicier. The service was fine, I am not being pampered but I am also not abandoned. They bring you your food and smize and keep it moving. Im fine with that but if you are looking to be catered to then maybe you won't like this. its casual, easy and good.

Yelp
Easy. Simple. Delicious. If you want a good meal and don't need fancy, this is the place. Service was quick and friendly. Perfect for take out too. Done both.

Yelp
The ambiance was great. Yet I could the prices very high for tacos and specially the quality. The guacamole was very very creamy seemed like it was bought and not made in house. Over all expensive place. Will not come back. But the life music was good.

Yelp
Feels like I stepped foot in Mexico. Only white guy in here haha and I love it!! Everybody was so nice and the food was sooo good!!! Accompanied by great Mexican music played on a good sound system which makes me very happy and speaks of their quality as an establishment. Clean restroom, friendly and professional staff. A+ on everything. It is amazing to find authentic Mexican food and it is every bit as good as the real deal. And the cheapest draft beers that I have seen in years!! I will certainly be back again.

Yelp
The food is very good especially their queso fundido & the churros for dessert! The tacos taste very good as well and the prices are very reasonable! I've tried the chicken fajitas & really didn't like it & I wish they gave you chips worn pico de Gallo before your meal or even as an appetizer but they don't give you pico de Gallo just the chips with some little sauces! Our waitress was very nice & gave us amazing service!

Yelp
I've been to this place many times after having a night out. Probably the only place open at 3am and they still offer a very extensive menu. The food is good and the service too. The waitresses are very attentive and have knowledge of the entire menu. I have tried many different plates and all are great. Worth to mentioned there is free parking and prices are very affordable.

Yelp
Updated Menu as of Nov 7, 2022 First time here, the restaurant feels homie. Will post about food after dinner.

Yelp
This is a little hole in the wall located in Miami.. I don't think their tacos are completely bad.. but my expectations about this place were bigger... Me and my best friend went on a Taco Tuesday. There was no Taco Tuesday special/deal on anything. This place ONLY TAKES CASH, there was an ATM inside the same restaurant which you can use to take the cash out (of course taking the atm fee and idk I just thought it was weird because that place looks like it's been there some time and only takes cash??) Tacos were OK.. I mean, not terrible you cannot eat but they were not as I expected them to be.. the steak ones were dry and the pork ones (al pastor) are usually my favorites but they were super soggy and the meat just felt weird. The carnitas one was the one I liked the most, they also were a little bit dry but they were pretty good actually. I actually did liked a lot the gordita. I ordered the steak gordita. It was delicious.. I recommend you, if you go to this place, do not forget to order the sauces they make (spicy sauces), specially the green one! That is the best one. Service was ok.. servers seemed not in the best mood.. My friend ordered many many tacos and she decided to change one of the taco orders right after she paid (not even one minute passed by) and be said she cannot do it, he was a little bit rude on the way be answered. Prices are good and it is a good quantity of food for what you're paying. This place is located on a Corner local with lights and a colorful sign so you can easily see it from the street. For parking, there is some street parking (it doesn't have it's own parking garage), not that bad parking situation but I guess because I went on a Tuesday it was pretty packed.

Yelp
Love this place! If you're ever looking for some fresh and yummy tacos. I was visiting my family this week and we came here three days in a row. That should tell you something. My family has never been here or heard of this place so when I took them here they wanted to know what took me so long! The staff is friendly and nice and the food never fails. I actually think it gets better and better after every visit.

Yelp
Their Salsa Taquera is so addictive--smooth, opaque, orange with the right amount of an assertive heat. Their Pozole Rojo is absolutely phenomenal with a rich broth with a fully developed depth of flavor and a hearty amount of tender pork. Service is kind and patent. I will be back 100%.

Yelp
Extremely underwhelming, and, frankly, mediocre food. This meal started off on the wrong foot right from the start when I noticed that our waitress was putting chips into our bowl without any gloves on. The chips themselves were extremely hard and dry... would not recommend. One huge downer is that you can't order tacos individually and mix and match. You have to order at least a 3-taco combo.. which is fine, but the combos come with 3 tacos of the same type... so you don't really get a variety. When it comes to the food -- the portions are somewhat smaller than I would expect at your average Mexican restaurant and the rice and refried beans were definitely nothing to write home about. The carnitas tacos were the only decent part of this meal and it's not like our waitress offered any onions or any other garnish to accompany the tacos. The service left much to be desired and frankly our waitress gave off the vibe that she just wanted us to hurry up and order and hurry up and leave. Would definitely not return here.
