Tacos El Carnal

Decent late night food spot. They are always open late and decent prices. The horchata and carnitas tacos are super delicious. The staff is somewhat attentive and the food portions are decent. Take the avocado sauce and give it a try. Other than that it's just a normal late night taco spot. Enjoy it!!

Tacos had very little meat, way too much onion and cilantro. The carne asada torta has almost little to no meat, the meat had a metallic taste to it almost like eating liver. And what made everything worse was the attitude the staff (I’m assuming the owner and her daughter) had towards a new employee. I felt so uncomfortable listening to the way they talked to her for not knowing prices off the top of her head and not knowing how the credit card machine works. I will not be going back.

They steal your money. The menu says guacamole with salsa and Pico de gallo that they charge you 8 dollars for! It only came with guacamole and chips and they claimed the salsa was the hot sauce on the table that's usually free and the free "Pico de gallo" that looks like a regular sauce they left outside. My husband and I are vegetarian so I asked them if they could put guacamole inside my burrito instead of meat and she said yes but then tried to charge us extra for it. The burrito's were supposed to have rice in it and had like 3 grains of rice. Literally! It was basically a bean burrito with white sauce. Service was horrible. My uncle ordred beef tacos and the tacos only had one tortilla instead of the two that every mexican place puts. The meat inside the tacos were small squares it was mostly cilantro. So dissapointed! Then they tried to tell me the burrito had guacamole even when I showed them it didn't have it. And didn't want to take it off the check until we complained to "the manager" (the cook). I have never been to a Mexican restaurant that doesn't even give you chips and doesn't have salsa. We came to visit from New York and had a horrible experience. Don't waste your money. You will leave hungry and unsatisfied.

This place its a good mexican rest for a quickly bit, so they chance the name for "El norteño" but its the same administration, so if you want a good taco or some quesadilla amd you are in little Havana you need to go there

This place was delicious and reasonably priced! They have homemade flour tortillas. Excellent!

Not much to look at but the tacos and tostadas are delicious. Highly recommended authentic Mexican food.

Honestly, the tacos are ok, but after being out drinking and this being the only place open they're acceptable.
