Tacos El Tajin Owner Tomas Lopez Has Died from COVID-19 - Eater Seattle
"Tacos El Tajin became a staple in the South Lake Union area over the past 10 years, known for its gregarious owner Tomas Lopez, who served food even during a traffic jam. It received national attention and was beloved by the community for its excellent al pastor and Lopez's warm personality." - Gabe Guarente

The birria tacos were so juicy and flavorful and the service was fast. Can't wait to eat there again!

I had the veggie green wet burrito recently. The food was tasty and the service friendly. I wish the veggie burrito had fajita veggies or avocado or something apart from rice, beans and cheese. The cost was the same and the meat was just excluded. The habenero salsa that I tried with the burrito and the green sauce on the burrito were both delicious.

It used to be really tasty, I tried it today and it was so bland. Looks like they are trying to save money by just putting rice and lettuce. Barely saw any beans, pico, avocado. Definitely not even close to being 13$. I would pay 5 bucks for this.

I rarely write reviews but this place deserves one, easily the best Mexican food I’ve ever had! Especially the birria tacos. But they do simple stuff also so well it’s unreal.

Great team and very friendly. Food was delicious obviously. Get the salsa and habenero.
The quesadilla was well cooked with the cheese nicely melted inside. Most Mexican places aren't as good at doing this. Definitely check them out.

While I do have a pretty low expectancy for Mexican food in Seattle downtown, the so-called "Pollo Taco" with nothing but bland boiled chicken breast is still at the next level. You gotta have to pay me to eat that again.

Got a burrito on 6/2 at the food truck on Westlake. Delicious as usual but whoever wrapped it needs guidance. I have no idea how to wrap a burrito either so when it fell apart I just used a fork. Still yummy
