Good tacos, but fine by CDMX standards.
Woke up way too early and went looking for food. I originally had another location near Roma Norte in mind, but since it was closed, I ended up here instead. This branch is open 24/7, and around 5 a.m., I was the only customer there. The kitchen felt a bit paused, but everything on the menu was still available.
I got the tripa, longaniza, and costilla tacos. Overall, they were just okay. The meats were a tad dry, and the tripa in particular didn’t work for me. It was crisped and seasoned so aggressively that it lost its distinct character and became hard to tell apart from the longaniza.
One thing I did appreciate was the salsa setup. They brought out a fresh plate with five different salsas plus pico de gallo. Not sure if all of them were technically salsas, but the variety was nice and more extensive than what I got at a spot like this throughout my trip.
