I was in Walla Walla on a school break recently and the family I stayed with recommended I hit up La Monarca. Usually I'm wary of taco trucks, but they swore by its deliciousness, so on my way back to Seattle I stopped by to get some food. I got the Burrito Walla with beef and a chorizo taco.
The burrito walla was really delicious and filled completely with veg, walla walla sweet onions, and beef. The chorizo taco was pretty damn good, too, and despite the fact that I was totally stuffed after eating all that, I actually would have eaten another one. I also had a bite of my friend's chicken burrito walla, and I have to say the chicken was fantastic.
We were there on a rainy day, so service was quick and the food came out quickly. I didn't see any chairs around but I wasn't about to sit out in the rain to eat, anyway. They give you plates, so it's not too messy to just eat in the car.
