Tacos La Roca

I loved the quesabirria! I ordered three tacos, but two would have sufficed - they are large and stuffed with meat. There are some tables in the parking lot if you want to eat there, but most were getting it to go. My wait for my order wasn’t too long.

I had the Asada fries and they were really good 👍. Huge portions!!! The service is good. The atmosphere is okay as it is a taco truck with outdoor seating, so not the best atmosphere but is acceptable for the establishment.

The food here tastes great—no complaints about the flavor. But the wait time is consistently frustrating. We’ve experienced this same issue way too many times: we place our order, then watch several people who ordered after us get their food and leave long before we’re served. It seems they prioritize quicker, easier orders first, which leaves some customers waiting 40+ minutes for just a few items. That kind of delay, especially at a food truck, is hard to justify.

The quesabirria is my absolute favorite! Though everything we've tried has been delicious and their green and red sauce is full of flavor! Very popular so expect a longer wait, especially during peak lunch and dinner hours. It's definitely worth the wait though!!

They did a great job with our large order of 10+ meals ready in less than 30 minutes and packed very well for a large group. They clearly labeled everyone's food and labeled it with the price so that we could pay back our food runner. Then there was the quality of the food. Everyone was very happy with their food. I personally ordered the nachos. I thought they would be enough for two meals given the portion, but they were so delicious I finished them in one sitting.

Wife and I tried this taco truck during our weekend get away, and it was fantastic! Food was ready quick and it was delicious, best Mexican food I’ve had in a while! Would definitely recommend if you’re in Chelan!

Honestly this is our all around favorite place for mexican. We eat here 1 meal per day of our trip to Chelan each summer. Our favorite is the Asada Alhambre with rice and whole beans and the Quesabirria. Their homemade corn tortillas and guacamole are amazing. If you are gluten free make sure to ask for the corn tortillas gluten free or they may be dusted in flour.

After a week-long journey through the PNW we were desperate. You know that look people get in movies when they crawl through the desert and hallucinate an oasis? That was us--except instead of water, we were dying for tacos. Enter Tacos La Roca in Chelan, WA. We went in skeptical. Border-state trauma. Too many bad burritos in bland places. But Tacos La Roca? They understood the assignment. The birria burrito? Life-changing. The quesobirria tacos? The kind of experience that makes you rethink your entire relationship with cheese and beef. And the green salsa--dear God, the green salsa--wasn't just good. It was soulmate-level good. Like if beef and cheese had a wedding, that salsa would be the officiant, the best man, and the DJ all in one. Authentic, rich, and straight-up delicious. If you're in Chelan and missing real-deal Mexican food, Tacos La Roca is what you need..

I would never have expected to find incredible tacos from a food truck behind a Les Schwabb. Tacos La Roca is a real gem. I can see why the locals love their food! I ordered the trio plate. The portion is filling, and all of the tacos were delicious. My favorite was the quesabirria which paired perfectly with the warm and flavorful consommé. You may expect to see a line during peak meal hours, but the wait is worth it. Such a great place for a meal in Chelan!

chelan is lucky to have tacos la roca and if you're a local or someone who comes to this area enough to be in the know, then you know to navigate here whenever the cravings strike. we stopped by and waited in a line which moved quickly. we got two beef tacos and two sopes (and just know, it's easy enough to order some things on their menu without any meat option, which i did for the sopes.) fairly quick service given how many people were there. super friendly and packed well to go however we decided at the last minute to eat at their picnic tables. if you do that and it's later than noon, know that you may be fighting a bit of the typical wind gusts but i was wolfing down those sopes so fast it actually didn't matter. they were doing a steady business in the early afternoon of a weekday and i'm happy to help support a local business that cares about their customers' satisfaction and the food they're turning out. i will definitely be back! and for those who are first timers to chelan, i'd say get here early or prepare to wait (especially during the summer season) but you won't be disappointed. locate the les schwab on the edge of town on the way towards walmart and drive behind the tire bays. it may seem crazy but tires and tacos could be a new mash up that none of us ever imagined would go so well together! les schwab should coordinate with local taco trucks in all their locations and they'd have even happier customers.

Best food in all of Chelan! The tortillas are fresh, the meat is tasty and juicy and the salsa/peppers are delectable. Can't wait to come back here next time in Chelan!

Fabulous food! If you like Mexican food, don't hesitate. My husband raved about his tacos which were also gorgeously presented (see the photo). Lots of flavors. I had a veggie burrito- the avocado was perfectly ripe, the tortilla was very light and delicious.

My friend picked up take out for us when we arrived into town! So glad he chose this place! They were very nice and able to accommodate a gluten free diet. I ordered a couple different things and really enjoyed it. I ordered a birria taco, a chicken taco and a cheese pupusa. All were so delicious! Flavors were great! Prices and just overall was awesome! I was very full after my meal! The menu has so many great options! Would love to try more!

This is the best taco truck by far. I tried the cheese tacos and it was awesome. Drove 1hr just to eat here.

Everything here is amazing! My husband and I have come multiple times and ordered new dishes. Each one was delicious. Our favorite is the pork tacos - a must have! But my second favorite is the sopes. I'd highly recommend you order at least one sopes. Because it's deep fried, I can't eat more than one. So I get one sopes and 3 pork tacos. The jalapeños are so spicy but delicious! Plenty of outdoor seating. Staff is friendly and very busy. Food comes out so hot and fresh. This is my favorite taco truck I've been to!

If you're in Chelan, you must come to La Roca! The service was really efficient and friendly. Everyone is always very helpful, and the food? Best Mexican food around! It tastes very authentic and for a great price, too. The quesabirrias tasted amazing and were very filling. Johnny helped me with my order and was extremely helpful and kind. A must-try here in Chelan! You won't be disappointed. The outside area is really nice and pretty large, especially for a food truck. There was a lot of space to wait (even though the wait is short). Will be returning for sure

BEST SOPAS ever!! Hidden gem behind Les Schwab! Skip all the other taco spots this is the ONE! My family loved the Quesabirria's also! Very friendly staff, great outdoor seating.

Pretty darn good. Super burritos were excellent. Had the beef super burrito. Beef was tender and flavorful. It was supposed to have sour cream, but I couldn't detect any. But it didn't make much difference - still excellent. Portion size was huge. Quesadilla was OK. Had the chicken and pork. Flavor was about the same for both. Both a little on the dry side, but not horrible. Rice and beans on the side were standard fare. Excellent value for very good quality food.

Busy lunch crowd on a Friday. We ordered ahead of time, but when we arrived we still had to stand in line. At least it was ready when we got to the counter. I ordered chicken tacos (hold the onions). They came with a roasted pepper (no thanks), radishes and limes. The tacos were good, although nothing stood out. No too greasy though, which is a plus. Hubs got a super burrito carne asada. It was huge. Big enough to share unless you're starving and have an extra large appetite. The menu said it had sour cream - but we didn't see any. I had a bite. It's your standard big burrito. Good option if you're in the area.

they did not have vegetarian option on the menu . but they offered to make one for me. It was really delicious. The staff is very friendly. The service is great. I would love to go again.

Best food in the area, we travel every year to Chelan and stop by here every time. Best on the menu is quesabirria - 100% recommend to try. Other stuff we tried is good as well but quesabirria is 10 starts. Try it!

I've had Mexican food in a lot of areas in the country that have authentic cuisine and will vouch for this place. It was my family's favorite meal in Chelan. Delicious, flavorful, and a clear favorite for locals. You won't be disappointed! And the habanero salsa is legit!

Great sopes! They are gently deep fried and topped with generous portions of chicken, lettuce and radishes. Yum! Fast service and shaded eating areas. The best taco wagon in Chelan!

Hands down the best tacos in the town! Don't bother with the other trucks - drive your butt out to the end of the road, pull into the questionable parking lot that also serves as the tire center, and order up! Delicious tacos and grilled peppers to boot. Big servings and reasonably fast service, even during lunch rush. There are a handful of seats if you're not taking things to go.

Locals highly recommended this place so we went to check it out! All three flavors (adobada, carne asada, Barbacoa) were good but my favorite was probably the giant shrimp tacos laden with cheese. The salad side that it came with looked a little limp and paltry so we didn't eat it. They have a good ordering system where you can place your order, wait in the car and they'll announce your name on a microphone once your order is ready. On the whole we would come back again for a quick take-out meal to eat by the lake!

For a food truck located in a random parking lot, they had a surprisingly wide variety of dishes to choose from! We had 2 vegetarians with us and they were able to customize tacos, burritos and other items to fit their dietary restrictions (without compromising for just beans and cheese). The food was pretty good too. The chicken was seasoned well and you could clearly tell that it had been made fresh. The lady taking orders were super sweet as well. And she was properly gloved and masked, which was a great sight to see since we hadn't seen anyone in Chelan wearing masks ever since we arrived! If you follow the Google Maps directions for their address, you should be able to find them easily!

Fire. Best tacos in Chelan maybe even better than any in Wenatchee too. Highly recommend the birria Torta or tacos

You expect great Mexican food in Central Washington and this place did not disappoint! Great asada, delicious sopes, and a creation called tacos al governador that had gooey cheese and shrimp that was awesome. Will return next time I'm in Chelan

Great authentic tacos! Beef tongue, chicken or fish were delicious. There is a reason the parking lot was full. Yum!

My daughter, son and I wanted to have some authentic Mexican food tonight so we gave this food truck a try. We all were happy with our choice, the truck is located by a tire store it has good parking but the main thing is that they serve some very fine tasting food, the prices are reasonable and the portions are good sized. We are on vacation this week but based on the feed back from my kids we will be returning.

Everything is sooo good here . The tortillas are so good I could just eat those alone . Every time I'm in Lake Chelan I have to come here . Try the Barbacoa

Absolutely the best food around if you enjoy Mexican food. Usually gets the chicken burrito or quesadillas.

I don't know where to begin... I should start by saying that I've been here 3x since my stay in the Chelan/Manson area. EVERYTHING here is bomb.com The best tacos in all of this area hands down! Homemade tortillas Homemade salsas Homemade chips I've had the mangoñadas, roca loca, and fruit cup everything gets 5 stars!!! If you have had the chance to visit this area you know that the Lake and Mountains are the prime reason to vacation here, now there is a second reason...la Roca. Trust me.

Service was good, professional and nice. They were busy but became even more busy after we ordered. They should stay open later, they close at 8pm, we arrived at 7:30pm. We ordered chicken tacos, asada tacos, shrimp special tacos-#9, and side of rice and beans. My least favorite was the chicken tacos but still good, then asada tacos and then my favorite was the shrimp tacos. My meal was the #9, I just tried a bite of the other tacos we ordered for the review. The rice and beans very good, as well! We recommend, and will come again.

They serve up pretty decent Mexican truck rodeo food on par but my biggest concern is I think they're the only food truck in Chelan so everybody goes there and at particular times a day there can be pretty lengthy wait times

Amazing tacos especially the authentic Taco Birria (off menu). We've tried several restaurants but Tacos La Roca is still the best authentic Mexican food!!

One of my favorite places to eat in Chelan. The super burrito is my guilty pleasure (it's really a couple of meals for one person!), but their tacos are also yummy. Be prepared for long lines and wait times, though you can call your order in ahead of time. ;)

Gem in this little town! Fresh and delicious. They season their grilled jalapeños .... SO GOOD! Their salsas are pretty mild, but good. I ordered a burrito and huarache- masa was well seasoned (something most places miss). Tacos were yummy. Rice and beans were a little under seasoned, but baby liked them! Overall really good option for a town full of burgers and fries.

We're from LA and vacationing in Chelan. These tacos are just as good as the best tacos I've had in LA. And we are always on the hunt for the best tacos wherever we go.

The food tastes amazing but the service is horrible! I ordered a couple tacos and a side of chips and salsa. Not only did I get no salsa with my chips I didn't get and salsa with my order at all :/ on top of the salsa fiasco which I realized after arriving home, they took almost 20 minutes to finish my order meanwhile people who orders after me were served within 5 minutes. What I got tasted amazing but the price is not worth the shitty service. :/

Best Taco Truck in the Chelan Valley. Don't worry if there's a line, they crank out the orders fast, and don't be scared away by the fact that it's in an old trailer behind a tire store. The location adds to the charm and makes for an authentic workin' mans lunch experience to impress your hipster friends back home with when you post a selfy with a Lengua Super Burrito.
