Since they expanded, there’s room for a full bar and enough tables that you rarely have to hover to snag one. This counter-service spot in Smyrna still keeps things fast and casual with a giant menu that includes all the staples (tasty tortas, sopas, burritos). "Wave after wave of people bring life to this relatively quiet Smyrna shopping plaza during the lunchtime hour. They’re here for the affordable corn tortilla tacos from Tacos La Villa. With 13 protein options, our favorites are the tender lamb and chopped steak. The tacos are small (we’re talking like three large bites). But the prices range from $1.80 to $3, so we gladly compile a taco collection to take to our table. "Tacos La Villa in Smyrna is another all-star in our taco hall of fame. This counter-service restaurant does traditional birria tacos very well, too, but we’re big fans of their pizza birria. Mounds of shredded beef and a hefty amount of melted cheese are sandwiched between two giant tortillas. It really does look like a big meat pie—so huge they put it in a pizza box. And at $18, you get eight slices, which are bigger than a single taco ($3.50).
