This place is delicious. We are visiting from Vancouver Canada and have come here every day of our trip… sometimes twice… yesterday 3 times. We’ve had other great food in Austin too (we have tried elsewhere!) but the Al Pastor (add pineapple!!) and the beef fajita tacos are undeniably the best. The staff is all so friendly and nice as well - I already miss this place! Plus the convenience store next door has any drink and sweet treat you could need!

It’s one of these place, :worth to drive:: the taste is so tasty and delicious, with good salsas, El pastor tacos, beef tacos, Tortas and the list so long , the important ‘SALSAS’ They have a very good collection of them , :Don’t forget: to add them because it taste delicious :. 👍

My husband and I are here at least 2x a week! I love their breakfast tacos, check em out! They don’t skimp on portion size either and a good price.

Another edit: breakfast not as good as before. Down to four stars. This is Tacos Las Amazonas on South Congress. Start with this. Really nice people working here. Covered area to eat. This is the way flour tortillas should be done. Not too thick. Crisped up a bit right before plating. Really, really good. Let me chime in here early...the yellow salsa (not the tomatillo one) is pretty spicy. Beware. I did the chorizo and egg and bacon and egg, as usual. I hate the cheese on these, so asked them not to do it. Really good. Both. The bacon was more substantial than most. Lots of eggs in both. Previous review. NO CHEESE IS KEY. Had chorizo and egg and also sausage and egg. They added cheese to both. Ask them to NOT add cheese. The cheese is pretty bad. Sausage taco is a pass.

I'm extremely disappointed with the service and food from this restaurant. Despite verifying my order three times over the phone, I was forced to make a 45-minute trip to pick up my order, only to find that it was grossly incorrect. Instead of the 15 tacos I ordered, I received just 3 tacos and 1 torta. The tripas tacos were a disaster - they tasted like charcoal and made me sick immediately. It's clear that they don't listen to orders over the phone and frequently mix up orders. What's even more appalling is that I've been a loyal customer for six years, and their quality has only deteriorated over time. To add insult to injury, when I requested compensation for the hour-plus we lost due to their mistake, they refused, claiming it wasn't their fault. This is unacceptable and shows a complete lack of accountability. I will not be returning to this restaurant again.

A good truck located in a gas station on South Congress, they serve okay food. It's hard to believe the pricing but I guess it's the new reality. Mediocre food, high price point. The quesadilla for $9 plus was very average tasting. The salsa offered was not great, expected more. Also ordered the queso birria tacos which had more flavor and taste. Overall, nothing to rave about. A very average food truck serving average Mexican tacos and fare.

Tacos were great, but no lime or radishes like the menu said. The flavor of the tacos are great, mild spice, but the smoky Roja salsa is fantastic. Really it's just the lack of garnish that was disappointing. Barely any cilantro on my taco. I would have asked for more or double checked but was my first visit.

Excellent late night spot with amazing service. We ordered tacos and a gordita. Our top two tacos were the suadero and pastor ones. Loved the grilled onions on all tacos and the green, creamy salsa. Friday night was packed but we got our food in less than 15 minutes. The atmosphere was jovial and generous. Muchas gracias por el excelente servicio! Nos volveremos a ver muy pronto!
