Very nice restaurant! We were so glad this place opened and wanted to give it a try! We liked the atmosphere and they had live music. The food was good. We liked the chip bar. Everything was lovely…but there were a lot of FLIES around the dessert bar. We tried to get some frozen desserts but oh my, too many flies. They need to do something about this because it was nasty to see flies over food 😔. It took away all the joy when we tried the dessert. And we paid over $9 for just a cup of mangonada. That’s insane! We all agreed we won’t come back unfortunately!

Google
A really neat, fun, bright restaurant that serves delicious, authentic Mexican food. You get huge portions for a good price. There is an ice cream counter as well. The staff is super friendly. If you leave hungry that's your own fault.

First time eating here and it was wonderful! Tried several different kinds of tacos with rice/beans and couldn’t believe the chips bar is included with your meal. There are probably 15 different toppings for the chips that you can choose from. Employees were nice, friendly and inviting. When you pull in and park and they’re grilling meats out front, the smell is to die for. I will definitely be telling more people to try it and I’m definitely going back!!

Meh 😕 Order at the counter (of course they want a tip?) Generous portions but my wet burrito was mostly tortilla. Beans and rice were nothing special. New chairs with the shipping plastic falling off. (why is it still on?) Soft drinks only (No margs) and nearly $4 each. Salsa bar with tiny cups holding a teaspoon at best. Entrees served in foam with plastic utensils. Best as a lunch destination or carry out not date night. They do have several televisions and fun colors/neon. Taped notes on the windows/ doors look terrible 😔

I got birria tacos, and my friend got shrimp - both were excellent! I liked being able to grab toppings and salsas at the salad bar to customize to our preferences. This was my first time here, and I will definitely be coming back.

Let me first say that I absolutely love the Grand Island location, and it's one of my favorite places to recommend in Nebraska. I visited this a while ago and ordered some food, and it all was presented pretty well food wise. The building looked pretty awesome, though it looks like a lot of the chairs were kind of falling apart or had weird plastic sticking out of the sides? Anyway, I started to dig into the food and opened the container for the consume for the Taco Tijuanas, and I would be lying if I said it looked appetizing. It was discolored and had tons of oil drops on the top of it. Me being me, I still tried to dip it in and was like, "Maybe this is just how it is here," and the tacos just weren't even close to what was in GI. So much so, that I only ate one of the four tacos when I usually blast through the entire four at the other location. The staff were still incredibly kind, so dont get me wrong. We will only stick to the GI location for now though.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 A Flavorful Fiesta at Tacos Los Hermanos! If you're craving authentic Mexican food that hits all the right notes, look no further than Tacos Los Hermanos. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by a vibrant, colorful atmosphere that feels like a celebration of Mexican culture—bright murals, festive décor, and a warm, welcoming vibe that instantly lifts your spirits. But the real star? The food. Every bite bursts with flavor and tradition. The tacos are nothing short of perfection—freshly made tortillas, tender meats, and salsas that pack just the right amount of heat. The carnitas are melt-in-your-mouth delicious, and the al pastor is smoky, sweet, and perfectly spiced. Even the rice and beans are standouts, clearly made with care and love. What sets this place apart is the authenticity. You can taste the heritage in every dish, and the staff treats you like family. Whether you're grabbing a quick bite or settling in for a full meal, Tacos Los Hermanos delivers a culinary experience that’s both comforting and exciting. Highly recommend for anyone who loves real Mexican food served with heart in a setting that’s as colorful as the flavors on your plate. 🌮🎉

I don’t know how to put into words I love this Nebraska born family business! They started in Grand Island. Then had a food truck in Lincoln for a while , now they have the restaurant! They have daily specials, ice cream, Mexican candy, a salsa bar. And the best part it’s a AFFORDABLE and DELICIOUS! Got a Thursday special the other day for dinner and I had it for lunch the next day! The picture is from a previous visit.

Yelp
Food was great, one of the best taco spots in town in my opinion. Was greeted with a smile and great customer service.

Yelp
I rate this place a 4.25! There is a topping station where you can build your tacos the way you desire. There was radishes, cucumbers, red onions, white onions, sour cream, cheese, three kinds of salsa, and more. There was plenty of meat and more than enough food. We got 7 tacos, chips and salsa for 30 dollars. You are paying for the atmosphere and the sit down experience. The service was friendly and helpful. The food runners were polite and extroverted as well. The building was popping on the Friday night we decided to dine here. The only way this place could improve to a 5 is by improving their meat quality. I thought the steak was a little chewy. I prefer a more tender cut that is grilled well. My favorite taco we got was the chorizo (although my boyfriend's favorite was the el pastor)!

Yelp
There were 4 of us intending to have dinner. The 2 of us had never heard of this place, although we were told the food was "good": It was a Saturday evening, about 7 pm. There is ample food given with each order. More than 2 of us could eat. I ordered a 'wet' burrito, my wife was looking for a chimichanga but they didn't have this. She settled for a type of taco. The couple we were with seemed to enjoy the place and the food. Our opinion greatly differed. Consider 'fast food' Mexican. Have been trying to think of something similar. Imagine Mexican McD. Set in a Sports Bar with several exciting football games on every screen. LOUD. So loud 2 of the 4 of us couldn't make out what was being said. The was genius. I had beef burrito. There was a very generous portion given, but whoever cooked the beef made sure it was fully cooked. However, while I don't like very spicy this had little a lack of flavor. Her opinion was the same. As we drove away, my question was.....would you want to go back there sometime? "NO"! Why? For the cost, which was about equal to a few Mexican places we do enjoy......why would I go someplace where the food is below average, by a great deal at the same cost. She then gave an analogy of alternative places if we wanted a cheap burger.

Yelp
Food is excellent. They have a great salsa variety! All of the people working there are really nice! What could use some help is the avocado salsa. It has little flavor, it needs a boost of avocado and some salt. And the music is far too loud. We tried sitting in a couple different places but we had to yell to talk to those sitting at our same table. The only reason I don't give it 5 starts is because of the loudness. I overheard each time we visited, people complaining about how loud it was. When we were there, I asked if they could turn the volume down and they did it right away! So if they keep that at a lower volume, it will always get 5 starts from us!

Yelp
Delicious tacos, great toppings bar. Fun vibes. I loved the music. I would come back again.

Yelp
WOW! Incredible, we went here on a Friday late lunch and found one of the last parking spots! This place was SO PACKED! The vibe is so fun and menu is extensive from tortas, quesadilla birria, birria tacos! I got Al pastor, birria, asada tacos! The Al pastor was salty, but asada and birria was amazing!! We also got the California burritos you might want to share this one, it's the size of a bag of flour! Everything we had was great! The topping bar was so convenient for those who like more or less toppings!

Yelp
I've always liked Tacos Los Hermanos since they started in Grand Island. Still good authentic mexican tacos. Although priced have climbed while quality and service have diminished.

Yelp
Hands down best tacos in town, fresh and full of flavor, they overload each taco with delicious Smokey meat, Asada, Birria, pollo, chorizo, al pastor, all amazing, a nice addition is fresh salsa and toppings bar to load your tacos. Very colorful and fun inside, haven't tried the desserts and ice-cream but all look very good. There is a 3.99% service fee if you use a credit card, no additional fees for debit or cash. Will be a regular here!!!

Yelp
A lot of reviews have been saying that they are being overcharged but as soon as you get to the counter, there is a sign that says pay cash and save, they pass on the credit card fee to the customer. It is pretty black and white, pay cash and save, no biggie! Pineapple agua fresca was pretty good and the food was decent! Pretty cool place inside and has plenty of options for ice cream and snacks!

Yelp
Good variety of food including a condiment bar. Service is excellent. Wide variety of desserts as well. Food portions were just right.

Yelp
I took my dad here after always driving past it, and was not disappointed. Food was delicious, service was great. Birria dip is to die for. I had to try their horchata to gauge this place, also to die for. 10/10 will come back.

Yelp
This is a find. The street tacos are about $4 huge portion. Salsa bar biggest variety of fixings i have ever enjoyed. Hot hot sauce is a not killer hot but made me drink a bunch of water. Fine friendly folks (see facebook post they handed out free school backpacks with supplies- that alone is worth a visit) place was busy at lunch. Only draw back music is too loud..,. I'll be coming back again food is great

Yelp
I liked the service and all and everyone was very nice but I personally didn't really like the tacos which is very important. It is in the name after all. The meat was mushy and just wasn't all that impressive. I really liked the idea of the salsa bar and taco customization area though. The whole restaurant was really colorful and bright too so that's up to you to decide if you like it.

Yelp
Awesome tacos, crazy deserts. The staff is very helpful with explaining how something is prepared and presented. The condiment bar is great and well stocked. Portions are filling.

Yelp
The food taste really fresh and the restaurant has a pretty modern look and the service is honestly quick for the average restaurant too

Yelp
WOW! If I could give 6 stars I would!! Portions were so big we had a ton of leftovers, we got the Birria Plate and Birria Burrito and the meat was so flavorful and juicy! They have a topping station so you can grab your own sauces, limes, guac, sour cream, etc! They also have a huge dessert menu for Mexican sweet treats/ice cream! Staff were very nice and hard working, we got our food pretty quickly. The decor and design of the place was very modern and had a fun ambiance + very clean, definitely will be back!!

Katie G.

Yelp
Definitely will be making this place a regular in our rotation. It's a little pricey but the portions are huge. Soooo good!

Juan M.

Yelp
A little bit more expensive than other places in Lincoln but hands down the best place I've eaten Mexican food in Lincoln. I'm from south Texas so my bar is pretty high, this places is good!

Alex D.

Yelp
Spent 45 minutes waiting for food. Only to watch others come in after us and get served almost right away. The staff was unapologetic. I will not be returning.

Seth L.

Yelp
We tried to go the first nights open, couldn't even park in the parking lot and there was a line out the door both times we tried. Finally went tonight and was a little disappointed. The tacos were good, full of meat and the broth had flavour. Our side of beans was ice cold. The decor is a little over the top and loud. I looked at my receipt after I sat down and noticed the prices on the receipt were higher than the prices on the menu board. Asked at the counter and the girl pointed at this little piece of paper taped to the counter that said they add 3.99% to all transactions. Needless to say we won't be back anytime soon, this is a pretty sneaky business practice as most customers wouldn't even notice this extra 4% padding to their profits. I wish them luck in their new brick and mortar location, but I don't do business with people who play these types of games. Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me.

Michelle Y.

Yelp
The extra hidden charge of 3.99% they are adding to the total cost is not right. Prices don't match. Food was ok.

Pete B.

Yelp
The food was bland and cold. What really was a turn off was the hidden service fee and the pressure when ordering to leave a minimum 15 % tip at the payment counter. We gave it a try but will not be going their again. Many other Mexican restaurants in Lincoln with better food, ambience and business model.

Yelp
The tacos and meat were good. It surprised me that they didn't double tortilla their tacos, which is usually the standard IMO. Their birria is pretty darn tasty, but their chorizo was inedible. Tasted like straight up clove, and I've never had bad chorizo before. So that was a first. I hated that they didn't have hot sauce available at each table. I really wanted to add Valentina to my elote but there wasn't any available. Another standard they seemed to ignore. The salsa bar was pretty neat but makes the customer do some of the work. The salsa bar made this really loud noise every 10 min minutes for some reason, I think it was the cooler system triggering? This place is REALLY expensive for food that's generally pretty cheap. I think 15 bucks for a Torta is absolutely ridiculous. My wife and I went for lunch and ended up paying 50 bucks. Nobody should ever have to pay that much for a comfortable lunch at a Mexican spot. Save yourself some money and get better/cheaper Mexican food at Cielito Lindo on west O. By all means, please support the community and try it out, but I will not be returning due to its high prices and lack of standard items that should be included with the meal/visit. The interior is bananas and entertaining, but the shtick rubs off pretty quick once you see the prices.
