Tacos Mexico

It had been a long time since I last visited a Tacos Mexico, and I’m really glad I came across this location. I ordered the asada plate, which came with four tacos piled high with onions, peppers, cilantro, and all the right trimmings. Each taco was flavorful and satisfying, and I paired them with a refreshing Jalitos tamarind soda that hit the spot. The staff here were warm, welcoming, and provided impeccable service, which made the whole experience even better. On top of that, the restaurant was very clean and well-kept, which gave me confidence that I was in the right place. Between the delicious food, the kind service, and the spotless environment, I left full and happy. This is definitely a spot I’ll be returning to again and again.

Chorizo Tacos ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ they made it fresh Asada burrito ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Carnitas ⭐️ (they were very dry ) like over cooked . Horchata was fresh but it’s on the sweet side . The salsa they make is Bomb.com The cilantro is fresh & lemons are fresh as well I’m coming back for the chorizo for-sure !

Everything was great except for the CARNEASADA can not eat it. It tastes like meat from sitting around and hard as a ROCK, probably from yesterday. I think they get rid of old meat to people who order to go so they don't have to come back. But guess what? I have pictures to prove it. I'm not going there ever again. $14 dollars for that?

I stopped by because I really liked the joint it gives you 60s vibe Service was good and fast and people were very friendly unfortunately the food is really bad The tortilla was probably 3 to 4 days old meat was overcooked and very chewy I got the carne asada tacos at 1.90 each and they are very very small I can’t say it’s worth it. And it’s takeout only for now.

I like the pollo tacos here. The diced chicken is soft and edible. The food didn't blow my socks off but it is a reliable option, especially if I get late-night hunger pangs. At $1.50 per taco, not a bad deal.

Since the pandemic I get alot of fat and Gristle more than meat. I used to love going here because they never would disappoint. I really hope things get back to normal for alot of the businesses ? horchata is delicious

I'll be the first to say that the restaurant itself doesn't inspire much. The building is old, and the seating could use an upgrade. But I was here for the tacos and burritos, and Tacos Mexico did not disappoint. And the fact that the young lady at the service counter was extremely friendly and polite, I really couldn't care less about the atmosphere here when the service was incredible and the menu items were as delicious as they were.

Employees are great, food is great, prices are great and service is great! What more can you ask for 😀

Came to Tacos Mexico to get some Tacos ended up getting a Carne Asada Burrito. I also got some Churros, I don't know what it is about Taco Spots but they always have Fire Churros. The wait for food was super quick. The churro WAS SO GOOD! But $3.30 for 1!? Insane. The burrito was so delicious! Meat was flavorful. Best tasting carne asada I've had in a while. The restaurant was clean, it wasn't packed in the cashier was friendly. I recommend.

Lady in the front is super rude and will fight you over some salsa I paid a dollar for extra salsa, but wouldn't give me the salsa that actually comes with the meal which is fine, but she was being so rude about it.!

The only reason I recommend this place, is for the food, but their customer service sucks, everyone seems to not want to be there and are annoyed when you walk in to order, staff is not friendly at all, and they look pissed.

There's nothing wrong with this place. It's a standard taco Mexican place. Great place to grab a quesadilla or some tacos. Lots of options to choose from.

This is a good little place for a fast bite. It's a hidden gem that serves up delicious Mexican food at a great price. They have almost everything - tacos, burritos, enchiladas, Chile Rellenos... the options are endless! They also do menudo that's also not too bad. For those looking for a spicy kick, their menudo is a great choice. I normally do the asada but the el pastor is also good. The asada is tender and flavorful, but the el pastor, with its perfect blend of sweet and savory, is a must-try. If I had one downside to this place it's that they do not do à la carte - which seems like a missed opportunity. If you want the enchiladas or any other entrée, say taquitos or the such, you have to get the plate - you know, beans, rice... It doesn't make sense to me, as I'm sure many customers, like myself, don't want the extras. I don't get it - you could make way more money by saving food people don't want and just sell them what they do want. Offering à la carte options would take this place to the next level. Overall, go for it. Despite the lack of à la carte, the quality of the food and the generous portions make it a great value. Just be prepared for a filling meal, as the plates come loaded! I'll definitely be back for more of that amazing el pastor.

Got 54 dollars worth of tacos . Came here at 9pm . The lengua wasn't cooked it was still pink!!!. The asada tasted nasty . The service was the worst . The girl who took my order was really rude and had an attitude . I asked how much the drinks were all she did was look at me and point at the board .

I just want to say Ana is an awesome worker, nice sweet and alwayswithan smile. Sadly yesterday she had an bad experience with an very aggressive customer just because of a taco really a . This guy got on her face taking video and picture not cool. And as he's leaving he's laughing and yelling " you are going to get fire" not cool at all.

This place is the best! Came here with my girlfriend for a quick birthday dinner bite cuz I was so hungry and the lines for everywhere else were so long on a Friday night and I was so glad we came. Tacos Mexico never disappoints. Their horchata is so refreshing let's start with that! Their meat in their tacos are so juicy and tender. And their wet burritos are EPIC! So BIG with beans and cheese and so much meat! And avocado on the side! Yummmy!!! I don't understand how this place can have low reviews. I've been coming here for years and I've never had one bad experience. I lived in Orange County and would drive to Long Beach for this food. So just know that. This is the spot.

Two stars due to food aint thT great aint so bad either but could be better lady working in the front is rude and stingy with sauce but overal food taste was so so

This location used to be very good but I tried them again last year and it was subpar. Thinking it was just an off day, I decided to give them another go today and my husband went to pick them up. This time they were nearly inedible. The tacos tasted a little funky and the meat had no seasoning to it. My husband and I couldn't finish these despite being very hungry. There are other chains with halfway decent tacos that are better than what we received here. So very disappointed and won't be back unless major changes are done for quality control. In that case I'll try it and I update my review accordingly. Tacos Mexico was my go to for years before these experiences.

FOOD was ALRIGHT . but got me was the pricing . For avocado and cheese it was 2.00$ each per taco . It shouldn't cost that much if I'm not getting a whole avocado and light drizzled cheese .

This is a good little place for a fast bite. They have almost everything tacos,burritos, enchiladas, Chile Riano's they got a lot. They do the menudo that's also not to bad. I normally do the asada but the el-pastor is also good. If I had one down side to this place it's that they do not do À la cart if you want the enchiladas or any other entrée say taquitos or the such you have to get the plate you know beans rice I don't get it you could make way more money buy saving food people don't want and just sell them what they do want. Overall go for it.

I do not recommend this restaurant. They do not wear gloves when they cook your food. They're touching your food with their bare hands. The lady that works there on the weekend a young girl is rude. They charge you more when they sit there and they count your fries basically when they put them in your your tray if you order Kan Sada fries, measuring the meat now the young lady that was there the night. She was so rude and disrespectful. I told him I would not come back here. I've been coming here from the 80s now that they have a new owner. I won't go there no more that young lady needs to be fired

Didn't like the place. I asked for a buche and tripa burrito, and I asked to make sure to have salsa inside. All I got was a tripa burrito with no sauce inside! And the tripa was so over cooked you you couldn't taste anything. So I just ended up with beans and rice burrito with some tasteless tripa on side. Don't go and waste money. By the way they also charged $2 for to add cheese in my gf's burrito. I find that outrageous for a sprinkle of cheese.

So I just drove 7 Miles for these tacos and the hours posted says open til 4am! And I'm so pissed I came And it's 12:04 and it's CLOSED! Already! I'm mad! I'm really am! Cause these tacos are BOMB ASF!!!!!!!

i don't understand how this place has a low rating. been coming here for years and the food and customer service has always been great. i love their tacos, wet burrito, and my mom loves the menudo. easily one of my top spots and well priced!

Best Taco Tuesday!!! I highly recommend trying for yourself. Just remember to bring (CASH) if you don't want to pay a fee to use your card. I believe it's a $.50 fee when using card. FYI- Parking is hard to find at night depending on the time you go. Parking lot gets full because of the bar nexts door. Hope you enjoy your Tacos as I did.

Food here usb great!! Staff is super friendly and you don't have to wait forever to get your food. Carne asada burrito and nachos are usually what I get here but the tacos are amazing too!!

I thought their tacos were pretty good but more importantly, their salsa was really good. Salsa can either make or break a meal. In this case, the tacos were alright but with this salsa , they became really good. They have red salsa and a green tomatillo salsa. Neither of them are particularly hot. They have .89 tacos on taco Tuesdays and the food is still pretty inexpensive otherwise. Excellent horchata !

The tacos de carne asada here give you diarrhea. On 2 separate occasions it has happened. Someone must not be washing their hands or is not handling the meat how it should be. DO NOT BUY.

Food is great service sucks only 1 person cooking and for a Saturday they need to have one more waited almost 1/2 for my food. But this is my favorite spot

Lets start with the good. The hot sauce is decent. That was all Will not be coming back. The Girl taking my order had her headphones on listening to music and was changing her songs while taking my order interrupting the process. Food was mediocre at best. My burrito was served with sauce and fillings pouring out of it so I had to use a knife and fork (good thing I ate it here, if I was on the run I would not be able to eat it) my drink had ice filled up to the top. Over 5 flies flying around the table area inside. I left feeling very dissatisfied with the whole experience. Come here at your own risk.

Carne Asada Tacos are disgusting! Worst I've had from a restaurant, I've had better from taco trucks. This place failed me because: 1) Asada meat was tasteless, very bland taste. 2) Asada tacos had lots of FAT, every bite was filled with a tasteless mushy texture, didn't know if I was eating asada or stomach. 3) Hardly any meat in the tacos (not like I wanted more meat in the tacos) but if you were a fan of the meat, these tacos didn't have much in them. All in all, your better off going to a taco truck if you like being cheap. If your looking for quality tacos go with King Taco, if you want quality tacos and not want to wait in a line, go to Taqueria La Mexicana.

Taco Tuesday .95 tacooossss so bomb i only come here on Tuesdays for the special and they are so good. green salsa is the best. they wrap the tacos in foil so the juices and heat stay in so after like 30 minutes wrapped up they will be a little soggy, nothing that would change my mind about coming back next Tuesday wooooot woooot

This spot is walking distance from my house. I decided to try the menudo for my hangover. The menudo was tasteless and the tripe was rubbery. I would not recommend the menudo for anyone to eat?? Also there was no hominy at all!!!

TACO TUESDAY This is our go to... I love the carnitas, my girls get the carne asada and shredded chicken and red salsa all around.... YYYEEEEEESSSSSS

Very disappointed in the tacos I got tonight. Whoever the cook was is trash. I've had tacos here and they're always good always on point. But when you change the cooks be careful. And whoever was cooking the shells today was not good

Ordered from here twice. Both times, they got my orders wrong. Trying to call and get a hold of someone is another disappointment when no one answers. Beyond frustrated.

I ordered for delivery through post mates. On the post mates app I order the Asada Fries. It does not say it has beans on it on the description. Bummer , I don't want beans on my Asada fries

They have the BEST HORCHATA here. Not the 'bang horchata' like other Mexican food spots. The asada tacos are good here as well. It's very close to my house so it's also convenient and their prices are pretty decent :)

Can't ask for much more from this place . Great affordable Mexican food and quick service. I usually get the sopes de carne asada and it comes with rice and beans with two sopes which are well served. Prices are really affordable and they also Offer aguas frescas .

This place used to have .50 cent taocs on taco tuesday now they went up to .65. They aren't too great. Ehh okay. For they east coast they would be amazing (and probably cost like $2.50) lol, But we're in LA, holmes! You best be stepping up your taco game, essay! Ok, passable in a late night pinch.

My cousin told me about this place and said to never go here because she and her boyfriend had a bad experience awhile back ago. My boyfriend wanted to try it out himself and brought home a burrito last night. Before I even got to bite into it, my little sister warned us that our cousin and herself had diarrhea from this place. I had a few bites. It was good and spicy--enough to fill the both of us but after awhile our stomach was getting warm. And I can handle spicy, believe me! A couple of hours later, I had the runs. Never again. Update! WARNING. TMI!! 19 hours after the original post. My boyfriend is telling me right now his butt-hole is burning from having diarrhea. Just saying.

I don't know why it took a while for me to find this spot on line... BUT so glad I found it hidden behind Churche's Chicken while driving to our best friend's home! These are the most ECONOMICAL, AUTHENTIC & TASTY Tacos around! They have a special of 4 tacos and a drink for under $5. Their Horchata is THE BOMB, if I do say so myself!!! My son LOVES their chicken and beef enchiladas... the rest of the fam likes the Carne Asada Tacos. I have to load them with LOTS of green Chile(SAUCE), lemon with a side of Pepinos (cucumbers) AND the best part for ME... PICKLED carrots and jalapenos! Yes, I'm a TRUE Mexican =) The place isn't much to look at.. it's just a little whole in the wall.. the service has a lot to ask for BUT HEY... the tacos are like .80 each when you get the combo! When our non Mexican friends visit and we want to shock them a little AND they don't judge a book by its cover... we like to introduce them to Tacos Mexico! You get a lot of bang for your buck!

I love right around the corner from this place, use to love going here. Lately the past 3 times I've gone everything has been horrible. From the food, drinks to the service. I've found flies in my horchata and lemonade. When I ask them for no Chile they add more as if on purpose. The beans were rotten on my super fries. I kept trying but today I had it never going back. Especially when the men are working there, no sirve ya este lugar.

We came here because the Mister's vanpool buddy told him they had cabeza and lengua; his two favorite kinds of meat for tacos and burritos (since the one he goes to only have the basic carne asada, pollo, etc.) We came, we ordered, we ate - nothing stood out to me, it was very basic like any other taco joint. As for service, not that friendly, they just do their job; they take your order without a smile and call out your number when it's ready.

The food here is a really good. The service is mediocre at best. Trying to place a simple takeout order and the clerk kept saying "we don't offer that", "it doesn't come this way" etc She seemed very annoyed about having to do her job.

This is probably one of my favorite places to go to. I'm a huge taco fanatic and this place has truly satisfied both me and my cravings! I usually go on Tuesday's where their tacos are eighty five cents each. The people working there are very nice and friendly. I also love how there's a to-go option and they'll pack your food nicely so they'll still be nice and warm by the time you get home. They also give you extra sauces and a whole section of condiments and limes which you can grab at any time. Everything is so delicious and fresh! I recommend this place to anyone looking for great street-styled Mexican food.

It was the worst experience at a taco Mexico in my life. Growing up we always went to a tacos Mexico so I figured gng to this one would be a pleasant experience. The carne asada was so gross, it was mushy and non asada looking. As if it were some other meat .i would never eat there again I get grossed out just passing by.

Usually don't write reviews but I actually like this spot. First time going today and it was great. The girl was very helpful and sweet. The food was done fast I was in and out in no time. Taco Tuesday for the win. A young lady came in asking for water before me it looked like she had been crying and going through a hard time and hungry. When she was walking out the front door the girl behind the counter called her back in and asked her if she was hungry she would buy her a burrito. The young lady agreed and I saw 3 employees pull out of their own money to pinch in to pay for it. I definitely will be coming back.

Waite a minute! What is going on people of Yelp! I think you have made a huge mistake on your rating of this place. So, I have been here a few times but never bothered to check on yelp as far as reviews go. I came here to write a great one and BAM! Y'all hit me with these low rating smh! Anyway! This place is delicious! The meat had flavor!!! My favorite is the pastor and carne asada. Omg!!! The green salsa was also a hit! I have tried the burritos, quesadilla and tacos. All bomb.com on Tuesdays their tacos are 95cents. Besides king taco which is way on the other side of town, you can't find another spot with more flavor then Taco Mexico. Yup! I said it! Lol. But for real you have to try this spot. I mean if your trying to go for the ambiance, then maybe this isn't the spot for you. But if want some good food, you need try this spot! One last thing i want to add, the people working there are awasome. Helpful and kind.

Very gd spot I always see this place and overlook it and the one in Compton well now it's a spot to hit but idk about the wet burrito I was warned that it was spicy man that shit hot af lol atleast to me but I pushed thru and killed it money well spent ....happy tummy

After the change in management I seen a difference in the quality of the food. The people working are so nice and give you the best service. The prices are okay probably typical of a Mexican restaurant. The food is decent but combing the service and the food I give them a 4.

Sick of trying to eat here. Been by like 3 times when the open sign is on but they've been closed for hours. Why are u still here 2 hours after your closed w the open sign on. Tired of it prob will never eat here cause they won't serve me. Was down to spend some money guys. L8R
