Best Tacos in Phoenix, Arizona | Eater Phoenix

"This East Phoenix favorite proves that vegan food doesn’t have to be health food — it just has to be delicious. Tacos Veganos serves up soy-based takes on classic street taco fillings like al pastor, pollo, and asada, all piled onto griddled tortillas with generous toppings. A taquería purist might be skeptical of a taco spot offering vegan versions of time-honored, perfected dishes, but Tacos Veganos delivers flavors that stand strong on their own. The Cauli Baja Taco, a beer-battered cauliflower taco, is a gem; the crispy, cheesy quesabirria dorado gets paired with a side of rich consomé. Everything here is plant-based, but it’s comfort food through and through: bold flavors, messy textures, and zero compromises. Tacos Veganos delivers traditional Mexican street food with the creative flair vegan dishes deserve." - McConnell Quinn

Phoenix’s Best Vegan and Vegetarian Restaurants | Eater Phoenix

"Phoenix has no shortage of taquerías tucked away in unassuming strip malls, but Tacos Veganos is here to fill the vegan taqueria niche. Owner and founder Jose Bojorquez started selling vegan tamales out of his trunk and slowly expanded his vegan fare until it eventually landed him this brick-and-mortar location. The result is a colorful and true-to-form taqueria, complete with an all-vegan menu. Try out any staple taqueria dishes with a reinterpreted soy base like asada, al pastor, and pollo, or opt for the Instagram-favorite-but-actually-tasty-dish, quesabirria tacos with birria ramen, made with a jackfruit base." - McConnell Quinn

My project while I’m here is trying everything on the menu and I haven’t been disappointed yet! Super high quality, well prepared, great presentation, and just absolutely delicious food. You must try it immediately!

Oh my goodness this place knows what is up!!! The flavor is 🔥🔥🔥 and the choices are top shelf. The consume was thick and PACKED with flavor. What a treat! I know I will be eating here again when I come back this way. Plus you know they have this down to science when they send you an eight ball of onion and cilantro on the side.

Google
Nestled in the mean Streets of Southeast Phoenix, this little gem is quite the find. Having been there before as another restaurant, I already knew whereabouts it was. The food. Here is amazing, the staff really knew their menu well and made good recommendations. Even if you're not vegan, this food is amazing. The Birria was fantastic, made with jackfruit. The nachos were good, and all of the dishes were large. I would highly recommend this restaurant, whether you're vegan or not.

Google
The Birria here is some of the best vegan birria I’ve ever had. I do think the price is a little high as I pay about $20 for a couple birria tacos and the caldo. So for me it’s a treat because I usually prefer to stay cheaper when possible.

Google
Very good! I had to torta with birria "meat." If I didn't know it was vegan, I thought I was eating meat! Color, texture, and flavor were all on point! The drink was like a Christmas treat with (what tasted like) cinnamon and vanilla. It was all delicious!

Imani

Google
When you go do yourself a favor and order the quesa birria special! The consome (prepared) is so delicious I could literally eat it by itself. Pricing is a bit expensive (but worth it) and the serving sizes are generous. We will def be back!

Google
Fun, friendly, authentic Mexican and vegan. Double win. Free parking, limited. Birria taco was generous street taco, so smaller tortillas. Tasty and hot with lots of dripping sauce. I added salsa for extra yum. I loved their Cauliflower Taco. Larger, the tortilla was slightly crispy. The Cauliflower, battered, fried was delicious and reminded me of beer battered fish. The cabbage tossed with cashew cream totally made it worth every bite, and the zing of fresh sliced red onion mmmmm mmmm mmmm. Yeah, the cashier said it was her favorite as well. I took a bite of the AZ Burrito. It's 4" wide. The tortilla is lovely and fresh. If you love birria then you will likely enjoy this Burrito. Everything was hot and fresh. My Jamaica Hibiscus beverage was not too sweet, just right. The kitchen was super happy. The happiest, most jovial I've ever experienced. Lots of laughter and chatter as they cooked. So cool. Authentic music. Outside seating offered. Locals kept coming and going. Lots of pick up for take aways. Definitely a win. Bon Apetit!

Google
The food was pretty good. Service was ok. The atmosphere was decent. I would eat there again but I wouldn’t go out my way to go there. The atmosphere was good and the food came out pretty fast

Yelp
"Tacos Veganos" means exactly what you think it does - you're about to imbibe upon some vegan tacos (and other typical Mexican food staples). You place your order at the cashier and then they will call your order number when your order is ready. So that's the cue to go pick up your delicious meal! Every time I have been to Tacos Veganos, I have opted for tacos... and will continue to do so! The Al Pastor and Quesa Birria are my two favorite gluten-free "meats" and both truly addicting! I don't normally crave vegan food, but I do crave tacos... and when my vegan friends want to go to Tacos Veganos, then I will always be a "yes!" Overall rating: *****FIVE STARS***** Gluten-free rating: ****FOUR STARS****

Yelp
Really like this place!! If you're looking for vegan fast casual, this is it. They have a variety of tacos, burritos, plates - with multiple fixings and spiced vegan protein - Some of the best I've ever had. Have come back here at least 5 times and haven't been disappointed! The only gripe (and why I took a star off) was because they aren't very equipped for really busy times. We got there at 7, waited 17 minutes to put in our order because of the lines, and waited a full hour to not get our food - we had to get a refund on our order because they hadn't even started it. Was really frustrating because we live 40 minutes away. Could tell people around us were visibly (and sometimes audibly) frustrated too. So that's something to work on given how great this place is.

Yelp
They have nailed the Birria!! Thank you for soul fulfilling consommé. Jackfruit filling was well spiced and wholesome. Excellent and fast service.

Yelp
Good is so flavorful and I am TELLING you, it tastes and feels like real meat. I've had their Al pastor torta and their birria plate so far. DELICIOUS! Truly. My husband likes their birria ramen and their burritos. My 2 young boys also like this place and they agree that it tastes just like chicken, they don't even miss the real chicken when they order here. The girls here are also very friendly and they have a clean location.

Takinah A.

Yelp
I will continue to come back! Best jackfruit tacos I've had. I travel over an hour for these tacos cause they are that good.

Yelp
Trying to eat healthier, but still crave tacos? Congrats! You've found the right spot. This is a casual dining spot with counter, table and outdoor bench space--pick your preference. Service is fast and straight forward.. order at the counter, then wait a few minutes for your food to be called out. I tried out the Baja Cauli tacos and Birria. Both were good, but I nearly inhaled that Cauliflower taco. So good!

Yelp
Im not even vegetarian or vegan and I love this place. Tried it for the first time today and got the AZ Vegano Burrito with chicken and it was awesome!! Great location and nice new clean building that's great for a lunch or dinner drop in. Highly recommend.

Yelp
My wife and I looooooveeee Tacos Veganos. I've never found a vegan mexican restaurant that has so many options. Multiple protein options, and the jackfruit is delicious - and this is coming from someone who doesn't normally like jackfruit. I would highly recommend the birria tacos. Service is fast and the staff has always been kind and accommodating. I'm excited to try the birria ramen.

Yelp
As a vegan food nerd visiting Phoenix my mission during the trip was eat only at vegan establishments, so clearly I needed some vegan tacos. Tacos Veganos is delightful - friendly, knowledgeable staff, clean, no-fuss interior, plenty of seating, and AMAZING FOOD. We sampled: -The taco plate special: 3 tacos served with rice and beans. You can choose a different filling for each taco; ours were asada, al pastor, and pollo - all delicious. -Quesa birria dorado: a truly inspired situation of crunchy taco, melty cheese, and birria. -Consome regular: birria broth, because you can't have too much of a good thing. A little salty, but excellent flavor. Although everything was delicious, I am withholding 1 star due to cost/benefit as the amount of food for the price was slightly lacking. While I get supply chain issues and inflation, I do think $30 for fast food tacos (even delicious vegan ones) is a little steep. Despite this however, I would go back again and again, especially because I need to try the cauli baja tacos, Arizona burrito, mulitas, vegano fries, and birria ramen.

Yelp
It's really cool to see a local grow. I last visited Tacos Veganos on a hot summer day several years ago. At that time, they had a truck parked in an alley between two businesses. Ar that time, one couldn't miss their logo and that big black taco. I remember waiting so giddy to have their tacos under the sweltering and oppressive heat of the desert. My order was ready and I ran to the cool confines of my brother's truck. Here's a tidbit about me, I despise eating in any vehicle. I enjoyed every bite and favor that day. Fast forward to a couple of days, I returned to the Valley of the Sun and discovered that Tacos Veganos had taken over the Beaut Burger location. Sad to see to Beaut go but ecstatic for Tacos Veganos to inhabit that space. The bold and brightness of the truck is all over the inside of the space. It's inviting and easy to order at the counter. The menu is 100% vegan with emphasis on Mexican Street Tacos made available with different protein options. Non-GMO soy is one of the options as well as Jackfruit. I ordered the Birria tacos and Vegano fries. We sat down and a short time later our order was ready. It came with two bottles of sauces. One red and one green. Both are good but I prefer the red as it is slightly more spicy. My Birria tacos with the consume were authentic and packed with flavors. One could blindfold 100 taco experts and I would wager to bet that no one would know that they were eating vegan tacos with Jackfruit. It was that good. The consume was spectacular, greasy, juicy, messy, flavorful, hot, and spicy. If you go this route, you're going to need a handful of napkins otherwise suffer the fate of consume juice on your fingers and your mouth. The Vegano fries were good but I think I like order more tacos next time. I could have eaten another three or four more tacos and really empty the well of the consume. Moreover, glad to see that Tacos Veganos is thriving and cultivating their fan base. Their tacos are bussin and the whole experience slaps. To the team at Tacos Veganos, Bien hecho y Felicidades. I may have to look at Alaska's and Southwest Airlines deal page for trips to Phoenix to get my cravings satisfied at Tacos Veganos.

Yelp
If you are looking for authentic tasting Mexican tacos but Vegan, this is the spot. Everything is vegan but it doesn't taste Vegan We decided to try a little bit of everything. Asada Taco- This was my favorite out of all of them, it taste just like carne asada and the texture was perfect. Chicken Taco- Like shredded chicken but it did taste like soy, but delicious nonetheless Birria Taco- Top two for sure. Has the flavor of Birria and consistency. Al pastor Taco- I wasn't a fan of this one, it was too sweet in my opinion Chicken Nachos- the tortilla chips are nice and crispy. I'm not sure what the "cheese" is but I could eat it by itself. The portion is pretty big too!

Yelp
Stopped in for lunch after a friend recommended this place. Sooo I said why not right. Upon entrance we were greeted and the order was taken. Inside there is plenty of seating and the average lunch crowd. They also have a patio area for seating also which is nice when AZ wants to start cooling off. Food came out hot and quick. We ordered the taco plate- comes with rice and beans and three tacos of your choice. We ordered the Arizona burrito. We also tried the quesabirria taco. For the tacos we tried-asada, al pastor, and Birria. I know, it's a vegan joint how can they possibly get an Al pastor and Birria taste. Simple THEY DID, they are delicious and worth the hype. The Al pastor I cannot wait to try again and is most definitely, was my favorite of the choices. The tortillas were good too, if you are a taco foodie at that you know the tortillas also make the tacos. The burrito should be noted is massive! Let's talk price. $4 for a quesabirria taco, $3 for regular tacos. I had two tacos, a quesabirria, drink $20 for lunch. The taco plate is $10 which is also a deal at that. Prices are definitely reasonable. Now to come back for the rest of the menu as they have mulitas, tortas, quesadillas, nachos, fries, sopes, and a beer selection. I tried the Jamaica which was good, perfect taste and not too sweet.

Yelp
uesday, but make it vegan Our vegan coworker invited us all out to try @aztacosveganos last night. Yes, there was sTaco Tuesday, but make it vegan Our vegan coworker invited us all out to try @aztacosveganos last night. Yes, there was some pushback and some meat jokes made, but in the end, we were all willing to try. I had the Quesabirria taco, with asada, and loved it. Texture was softer than real meat, but the flavor was there! I also tried the special Baja Cauli taco. Basically, it's a fish taco with the slaw and sauce but with fried cauliflower. It wasn't anything outside-the-box crazy, but I enjoyed it. The margarita was sweet and counterbalanced nicely by the Tajin rim. Overall, I think we were all pleasantly surprised and had a fun night Instagram: @msbusyblonde

Yelp
Finally got to try Tacos Veganos at the Vegan Social on RoRo! I got their tacos and tasted their al pastor, asada and pollo flavors. They were great and I loved the textures and flavors of each. They came with spicy red salsa and a salsa verde, both which added some heat and dimensions to the tacos. Service was friendly and my food was ready quickly. I look forward to visiting their brick and mortar location and trying more menu items!

Yelp
Went here on a Saturday afternoon. There was consistent traffic and service was still good. It was clean. It took about 7 minutes to get my margarita and 20 to get my 3 tacos. The margarita was good and strong! I love that you get the option to have tajin or salt on the rim. I got a pollo, an asada, and a birria taco. The tortillas were really good and tasted fresh. The onion & cilantro also tasted fresh. The taste of the jackfruit birria was really good. The asada and chicken kind of tasted like cardboard on their own without any toppings or mixed with the tortilla flavor. I spent $21 for the margarita and tacos which is not bad these days. If I came back, I'd get the margarita and birria. I would probably try the nachos too.

Yelp
These Michaela's and birria tacos and consome was the best I ever tasted. Delicious!!!

Yelp
This was by far the best vegan torta I have ever had, it was one of those times when I am like are they sure this is not real meat?! lol every element of the sandwich was great. The beans are nice and smooth. The lettuce was really fresh and by far the start of the sandwich was the meatless Carne Asada! I cannot wait to return to this place so I can try all of their tacos. After trying this I would literally try anything on their menu. My daughter and I are always begging my meat-eating husband to try vegan items, but I know that with this he would be impressed! Prices are reasonable and they have different specials on different days. I don't normally give food a 10 that's a hard one for me, but I literally just can't find anything wrong with this sandwich (maybe more meat)

Brianna R.

Yelp
Best vegan tacos in the valley! 100/10 would recommend you will not be disappointed. Service is great and they are very fast

Yelp
I recently started a vegan diet and did not feel like cooking today so I checked out Uber Eats and what they had to offer that was vegan friendly. I'm also not supposed to eat processed food but I needed a Mexican fix and I am so glad that I picked this place because it is outstanding, I ordered the Al Pastore tacos, and the Asada tacos. Both were incredible and both of the hot sauces. The red and the green are amazing. You guys definitely have a new customer if you gave this food to somebody who ate meat they would not know they weren't eating meat way to go.

Yelp
Came in on a Tuesday night during a recent vacation and it was busy, but not too busy that there wasn't an open table. This is a counter-style restaurant with helpful, friendly service. There's also plenty of parking, which is always a plus. I was excited to try the tamale special but they were understandably sold out by the end of the day. Instead I got the nachos as an appetizer and the quesabirria with prepared consome. The nachos were very large, our table of 3 struggled to finish them on top our our tacos. You can pick two "meats" for the nachos. We picked pollo and asada. I've never had non-vegan quesabirria, so I can't speak to the authenticity, but it was delicious! A deep umami flavor that's quite satisfying. But you will need to be prepared with napkins if you get the quesabirria. A great vegan taco spot, I would love to come back!
google avatar

Matt B.

Yelp
I visited on a Tuesday when they have a Taco Tuesday deal ($3-something per taco plus tax). I tried 1 of each of the 4 vegan meats they have. The order was ready within 5 minutes, and I enjoyed all 4 tacos, though 1 (bottom-most in the picture) was much too oily; the others were awesome. Great spot for good-quality, good-value vegan tacos. Highly recommended.
google avatar

Gustavo A.

Yelp
Full vegan menu! To my dudes that like Carne asada and Pollo or anything Mexican this place has a bite for you. You can add any meat to your nachos, or burrito. For my non full vegans this food is good! Least worth trying out! Drinks are delicious! Prices are fair and the owner worked up a chicharrón burrito Nothing fancy in the sitting area, if you want to catch up with an old friend this would be a chill spot. People at the restaurant are super chill and will give you their recommendations The vibe is more relaxed, a spot I'll be checking out again.
google avatar

Destiny K.

Yelp
Super delicious vegan tacos, birria and burritos! Service is always fast and friendly. If you're looking for a good vegan/alternative taco spot ...this is it. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Tawnie G.

Yelp
First, the fact a place like this exists is So cool! They were open u til 10, which was nice when everything else was closed. The portions were huge and quite good! Only thing I'd like is sauce on the pollo burrito. It said there was sour cream, but I couldn't find it, so it was definitely too dry. But otherwise, delicious!
google avatar

Meily A.

Yelp
Flavorwise they're really good however I was so dissatisfied with their portions sizes. Tacos are tiny. Normally I will only eat 3 tacos but with their size you probably need 4-5. I don't think meat is even missed because the tacos are tasty and the consistency is good. I made the mistake of going on 5 de mayo so it was really busy. We were able to secure seats fast but the order did take a long time. I think this is a good choice for vegans but can't give them a 5 star due to portion size.
google avatar

Paul P.

Yelp
Arizona burrito with carne asada! OmG! This burrito tastes better than the real burrito. The burritos are huge, the atmosphere was lovely although I got my order to go. I will be back. Sa Say Bon!!
google avatar

LaMisha T.

Yelp
The chef out did himself, The food was beyond words that can translate how it made us feel. Real love was put in this food, Amazing. If they could get it to taste like this every night I would never have any money. This place is highly recommended for vegans and non vegans. 5

Yelp
I'm down to support vegan restaurants that take a spin at meat-conventional items, but after three visits here I'm not sure I'll be back. The good: full vegan menu of some of your favorite mexican staples: asada fries, California burrito, quesadilla, etc. QPD (quantity per dollar) index and therefore portion size is great here. The bad: All three visits have been really inconsistent with quality and flavor. The California burrito while huge, are predominantly rice and beans. Sometimes its good, sometimes three's no discernable flavor between the various ingredients. In addition the hype is unreal, so every time I've visited it has been pretty crowded.
google avatar

Lori A.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing! All of their food is incredibly delicious. We enjoyed the margarita as well. There's is such great variety on the menu and everything is vegan. You don't have to be vegan to enjoy the food though!
google avatar

Ben H.

Yelp
There were dozens of veganos that shared the same idea- go to tacos veganos for cinco de Mayo. It took 30+ minutes to be served, but it was worth the wait. The tacos were delicious and almost identical to the real thing. I ordered 3 tacos: pollo, Al pastor, and birria- al pastor being my favorite and birria being my least favorite. As delicious as the tacos were, they were bite size. I'd definitely come back. I loved the vegano energy and flavourful food, but I'd order a burrito or quesadilla as I believe that would be more satisfying
google avatar

Elianna J.

Yelp
Hands down, the best vegan food EVER! And I'm not joking. My first time trying their food was at this location. I've never looked back since lol.
google avatar

Johanna H.

Yelp
Wow! If the food isn't already DELICIOUS and above any tacos around town, you will also have the best experience of kindness and service by the staff. The birria tacos are top tier. Definitely coming in again
google avatar

Brionne D.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious! I'm not vegan but I do enjoy a good vegan dish now and again. Their Birria tacos were so good I got them twice in one week! Does it clearly have a vegan texture, yes. But also it's not meat, so I don't think that's an issue. The jackfruit was flavorful. The consome was wonderful. The beans were incredible. Definitely try them out!
google avatar

Taotao D.

Yelp
Tacos are great, burritos are just so-so. It was a disaster to bring kids together with us...I did not even get a chance to take pictures. Next time. In one sentence, tacos are highly recommended, while the burritos were not as delicious as chipotle. T
google avatar

Alex B.

Yelp
Finally! A vegan Mexican food joint that got it right!! Brings back all the memories of street food and their chicken taco was by far my favorite thing on the menu. I'm always a little cautious when it comes to vegan quesadillas and while this wasn't exactly the greasy fast food quesadilla I crave, it came pretty darn close (a little too much vegan cheese for me!) and salsa was everything I wanted. Cute place and straightforward customer service. Would've been back the next day had they been open on Sundays!
google avatar

Madison R.

Yelp
Great quality vegan Mexican food. Authentic ingredients you can tell were made from scratch. Everything we tasted was too delicious to stop-even though the portions are huge! Fast and friendly staff and good music playing that brings us back to South of the Border. The "meat" options were some of the best plant based proteins we have eaten. Tastes great!

Lola S.

Yelp
Wow, wow, and wow. Best Birria tacos and consommé I've had vegan or not! Although I prefer vegan. Staff was awesome. Great what they've done giving back to the community, and they're storied humble beginning. A MUST TRY!
google avatar

Sally C.

Yelp
Very authentic. Cauliflower taco delicious. The homemade mozzarella (plant-based) cheese was delicious. The Barrie taco was very spicy & too greasy for me. We will go back.
google avatar

Nooshi B.

Yelp
Great lunch spot! Lots of options to choose from; tacos, burritos, plates and sopes. I opted for the Cauli Tacos which were phenomenal- great texture and the pickled onions were awesome. My Sope was nice and the bread was tasty, but a tad lacking in flavor. I got the Jamaica Agua Fresca and enjoyed it as well. Clean spot and friendly service.
google avatar

Sat Daya K.

Yelp
Ate here twice last weekend on a spring training trip. The birria tacos and birria ramen are the best plant based Mexican i have ever had

Yelp
Tacos Veganos earns five stars with no hesitation! Best Vegan tacos in town!!! The best part of Tacos Veganos is that they now have an actual restaurant. We don't have to our meals in the car no longer or fight for a table at the previous brewery they parked at before! I challenge any carnivore to eat these tacos and tell me they're not good! They have a selection of different meat alternatives that are awesome! You're not stuck with one flavor profile! The Asada and Al Pastor are my favorites, but everything here is good! The AZ burrito is their take on the California burrito. Be ready to tap someone in to finish this burrito off. Try their Horchata, it will not taste any differently than the normal twist. I personally do not like my Horchata that is super sweet and (TV) is not on the overly sweet side. Tacos Veganos are run by a great group of young people! I am not their family, but feel proud of their climb to get to this point! They deserve our support and share their name with others! They are destined for more greatness and will feel great in my soul and belly when I enjoy my meal at Tacos Veganos!!!

Yelp
UNBELIEVABLE y'all! I'm a new vegetarian and the more I explore for vegetarian or vagabond friendly, the more I'm enticed by this lifestyle. I came in around 11am on a Thursday. I was order number 3. Friendly smiles and greetings from the cashier to the kitchen staff. My other was served rather quickly. Birria nachos!! The birria is made from jackfruit. When I tell y'all that I'm in heaven...they better be lucky I don't live close because I'd stop daily! Maybe weekly, but you get the point. The dining room was clean with two big televisions and floor to ceiling windows showing the day to day commotion. Great lunch vibe and amazing food. They served all plates with green or red salsa. I didn't use either because I didn't need to. Definitely worth checking them out.
google avatar

Reed B.

Yelp
Amazing food that should win over your non-vegan friends and family. Brought my wife in to try the carne asada mulita, quesabirria plate, Al pastor nachos, and AZ burrito with carne asada. Everything was delicious and served in large portions. I wish i didn't live 2 hours away because this would be a weekly trip for me. The staff are friendly and offered me recommendations for my first time. Plenty of places to sit inside and don't have to wait long for food. You would be missing out if you don't give Tacos Veganos a chance.
google avatar

Karina W.

Yelp
The BEST vegan Mexican food!!!! So far I have only had their tacos, burritos (chicken and steak), and horchata but I'm eager to come back!!!

Mario H.

Yelp
Taco was fine drinks was fresh but could've had music . Came in during 1pm lunch hour it was busy enough . Cold taco however . Beer was cold.

Yelp
My wife had the Fish Taco and I had the Asada Burrito. Both of them were so good, I highly recommend you check this place out, their vegan plant based options are amazing !

Jonathan S.

Yelp
5 stars! Great service with quick turnaround time from order being placed to receiving food. You will not be disappointed 3 words...delicious, authentic and flavorful. Absolutely engorged into this meal with my wife and wouldn't hesitate to treat ourselves with 2-3 meals per week with food from Tacos Veganos. We ordered a variety of options to get a best taste of everything. Not a single option was disappointing. I would recommend all the options again and look forward to coming back and trying even more. Thanks Tacos Veganos!

Yelp
Food: I came to this place with high expectations, looking at other ratings. We ordered the QuesaBirria Taco Combo and were utterly disappointed with the item. Please see the second photo on how much oil was there in the crunchy tacos. I get that they are deep fried, but the oil has not been properly drained as seen in the second picture. The smell of thawed raw onion was also quite off putting. The jackfuit was okayish. This taco is far from refreshing and doesn't have any refreshing coleslaw or sauces that complement the taste of fried jackfruit. Overall, I would not recommend this item. There was no cheese or queso on this item either (did not stand true to its name quesabirria). Service: We mentioned that that was our first time eating here. The special menu was not very visible, the person taking the order told us about this after we paid. We learned after placing order that they make taco ramen and baja cauliflower taco. Would have chosen the baja cauliflower tacos had we known earlier. Ambiance: This whole place had a fast food chain vibe with poor service. Would not recommend. Overall: This was my first time eating Quesabirria tacos and I regret trying this item. I later learned on google that it is supposed to have some cheese of some form (queso or cheese) both of which were not present in the food. Plus it had so much oil that was not drained off properly that it was not eatable. If I have an option to request a refund of the food, I most certainly will.

Yelp
Best vagan cheese on the planet! Every time I go to Phoenix I have to get my fix. Great service, and cool vibe too.
