"Tacos vs Burritos is a casual Mexican spot on 79th Street Causeway. You’re not coming here for the best Mexican food in Miami, but this place does the trick if you’re looking for something casual, affordable, and quick. There aren’t many surprises on the menu: tacos, burritos, quesadillas, tortas, sopes, and more straightforward Mexican dishes that are a little inconsistent, but mostly OK. The best part about this place is that it’s convenient. This was the perfect stop on our way home from the beach! The chips and pico de gallo salsa were fresh and fantastic. It was fun to be able to go to the sauce bar and pick out a few different things to try. The pickled onions and pickled jalapeños were great :) we got a Carne Asada burrito and a El Pastore burrito and both were incredible, especially with the different sauces that you could add! The piña habanero salsa was our favorite, it had a nice sweet kick. We also really enjoyed the Agua Fresca and the Horchata! We absolutely recommend checking it out if you are in the area :) the place has its own parking lot, so it’s stress-free parking as well!

Food is great and delicious 😋 Casual lunch , breakfast or dinner !! Variety of tacos 🌮 o choose from!! I had Caenitas and Al pastor taco and an Elote!! Super rico!! This was our 5th pr 6th time there and we are definitely coming back!

I've been here a bunch of times and never left a review. This is an amazing spot for mexican food! Great food, great prices, breakfast all day, and their salsa bar is a must try! Their hot sauces are to die for. I love the Arbol, piña jabanero, Avocado spice, chiplotle . .. all of them! Also, they have a dirty Horchata which is amazing.

Recently tried the tortilla soup and it’s all I think about. They have some taco Tuesday specials but no matter what the prices are extremely reasonable. My favorite is the chorizo burrito and the unlimited trips to the sauce bar which include pickled jalapeños and onions, cilantro sauce and habanero! So much to choose from, check this place out.

We came after a late flight in and had a craving for authentic tacos. The tacos were solid but didn’t come with pico de gallo, just protein and cilantro. There is a sauce buffet which is cool but my husband who has a hunger for spice, wasn’t that impressed with them. 8/10 tacos overall! Very cool ambience though.

I love the food! Never a miss. But honestly, last time, I tried their dessert and oh mama mia 😩🤤🤤🤤 Tres leche was so good.

The food is great! I'm 7 months pregnant and craving the birria tacos, so I came to try this place. They were flavorful, and meat was tender. However, it was served a bit cold. I will definitely go back to try other things on the menu.
