Very friendly people. They will always get your order out as fast as possible. The food is always on point. They have the best house made taco sauce. Try some with your order and if you like it, buy a bottle to take home. You won’t regret it. This place fills up fast during lunch. It has a dive kind of vibe and because of their business model, they can and do keep prices reasonable. There is something special about those soft yellow tortillas. Cool group of folks- always happy.

Old school original local eatery. Great food in general. I've been eating the Sancho almost my entire life and never tire from it. Be sure to include their taco sauce. This is not a fancy place, but they're usually busy since they focus on serving great food.

If you are in a hurry, this is not place for you. It is Cash Only. Limited seating as a lot of people with to-go orders take up a few of the seats. But, the food is good, prices are good for what you get. Will definitely make this a regular stop for lunch during the work week.

Go just for the nostalgia, smells moldy upon entrance and now extremely overpriced for just seasoned hamburger served different ways. Today's taco special is more pricey than authentic tacos anywhere else. Sorry tacoville, was once a regular-never again.

Omg a friend at work brought it for lunch and gave me a burrito. It was amazing and it wasn't even fresh fresh. I cant wait to go myself in person. I just looked at the menu and prices have me hooked already!!!

This little hidden hole in the wall has been here for over 50 years,you will see all walks of life in this joint,from suit and tie to possible homeless…great taste,I highly recommend the “Sancho” burrito and the “Nacho Supreme w/peppers” the hot sauce is the same I remember from 20 plus years ago,so tasty,you’ll have to put a drop on every bite!

I went in with high expectations and a big appetite. 🌮 🌯 🌮 The reviews I read and their Facebook page bragging on having the "best nachos in Oklahoma" really had me stoked. We ordered 6 tacos 🌮 and 2 chalupas and of course the nachos and a large beverage. Prices were low and 💸 CASH ONLY. 💸 A handy ATM was conveniently located in the restaurant. As a expert "Mexican food eater" (My whole life) I would rate this food as "alright". Not much different than Taco 🔔 Bell or Taco Mayo. As far as having the "best nachos in Oklahoma", I wonder "who exactly voted on this?!?" They were borderline equivalent to the aforementioned "Mexican food" places. For this type of "Mexican food" I will go to the tried and true fast food "Mexican" food. The prices maybe slightly higher but the packaging 📦 and presentation and even the factory made taco sauce is better. That is MY expert opinion!

It’s a small dinning area and I notice many patrons coming and going while I enjoyed my lunch. You ordered at the counter, the staff is super engaging and friendly. The food is a home run; crispy tacos was excellent with flavorful ground beef topped with fresh ingredients and the sauce is addictive lol. (Also available for purchase) I tried both the mild and jalapeño and simply put, it was great on my palate. Also had the flat nacho combo which is a flat corn tortilla with beans, meat and cheese and sauce (order more than one). This is a cash only establishment so make sure to have enough for the second order lol

Fantastic cheap eats spot This little cash only hole-in-the-wall establishment serves up no frills down-to-basics Mexican food and I'd happily recommend it to friends any time. It feels like a place stuck in time in the best possible sense. I get the sense it hasn't changed much over the years. You order at the counter, pick up at the counter, get your own drink and find yourself a table. It can get busy, but there always seems to be a place to sit. The prices are great and so is the food, just how it's served. It's not the kind of place you go if you are into a lot of customization of your order. It's more of a this is what it is take-it or leave-it kind of establishment. I love getting a few of their traditional beef hard tacos for lunch or dinner. They have awesome chalupas and their burritos are great, too. The ingredients taste fresh and they offer a wide menu of options. They serve several house sauces which are spicy and wonderful. If you are in the area, it's a great and affordable meal option. Tacoville is one of my favorite cheap eat places to eat in South OKC. I go there as often as I can. I can't believe it took me so long to find it. I heard about it word of mouth, so happy I did. July 2022

Holy Shit... ... I've been wanting to try this place for years....and it was worth every year I passed them by ...until today. Tacoville, accept my sincerest apologies for spending my money at taco chains all these years. While this place is cash only, you've been warned, they do have an on-site ATM so you can fulfill your taco fantasies. First and foremost the staff is exceptional. Friendly and informative. If you're not sure what you want, just ask. The restaurant is quaint and clean...despite the proverbial "hole-in-the-wall" appearance. I went gentle on them with my order, 4 plain tacos (hardshell). If they can't server a decent taco, why order anything else? Tacos were absolute perfection. Not to mention, their house-made salsa had just the right amount heat, body and flavor. Damn you Tacoville....I'm a patron for life! Hope to see you guys again in my last 50 years!

My awesome friend who has been a Tacoville customer for years recommended Tacoville. Cheerful decor, very friendly customer service. You order and pay for your food at the counter (cash only) and will be called to pick up your order when it's ready. In-door limited seating. We ordered 2 crispy beef tacos (ground beef, wine, lettuce, cheese to buy) where does the one Sancho supreme (ground beef, lettuce, cheese, chopped onions, sour cream, mild red sauce on a 20' yellow flour tortilla) one Chalupa supreme (crispy corn tortilla with ground beef, refried beans, grated cheese and their mild red sauce). Their ground beef was not to my liking (mushy and lacked flavor). The refried beans on the Chalupa were very good and plentiful. They have a good menu, very reasonably priced.

Been coming here with my family for generations! My grandparents used to bring me here all the time I absolutely love this place and will forever be being my future kids and grandchildren here!! Service is always amazing everyone is so nice a sweet! TACOVILLE hot sauce is immaculate!

Quite positively the greatest hidden gem I have found recently!! Cash only, cheap taco restaurant that seems to always have a line built up (impressive!!). Despite there always being a mine and there being few seats - but the time you get your food there's a spot for you! The hot suave is so perfectly balanced I actually enjoy the heat. We've turned this into our hidden gem lunch spot. Can't wait to keep going back

I rarely come here but when I do, I enjoy it everytime. Good food, a short wait and friendly staff. Can't ask for too much else.

This place has always been a staple in the community and the best "fast food" for nearby workers and students. As my family has grown apart to different state. Me and my children in Denver,CO. My brother and his in Knoxville, Tn., When traveling back home to Oklahoma we've always reconnected at this restaurant. We pray this staple and landmark in Oklahoma City shall always stand and serve the community with the absolute amazing family secret recipe food we all love. Thank you to the owners, staff and cooks! I was searching for a hole in the wall type of place. This was recommended in a group I am a member of on Facebook. Definitely a hole in the wall in a very rough part of town. That did not deter me. Atmosphere was what you would expect, service was friendly & prompt. But the quality of food did not impress me or my family of four. It was below average. Taco Bueno blows it outta the park. We spent $45 trying various items. Nothing "gross" per say excluding the chicken soft taco...goosey and unappetizing. My daughter refused to eat it so I gave her my food and tried it. It's a nope! Not certain what all the hype is about. Even drove on the other side of town to try it out. Oh well.

Loved this place been a regular for decades. Very unusual menu with some all American favorites as well as Tex mex if you're in the area give it a try I bet you'll find something you'll come back for.

Tacoville falls into a very unique category of food that's pretty much exclusively Oklahoma City. And the food is good but over priced for what it is.

Everytime I'm in OKC I stop by if I remember. Quick fast service! Closed Sunday and Monday. Rough area - but food is delish and reasonable price. Burrito Supreme is my favorite. Nice friendly service. Yellow Burrito - we call it. Been coming for years !!! Taco sauce -- buy you a bottle it's worth it.

This place is such a hidden gem!! Looks are deceiving. Be sure to try out their guacamole on Wednesday and Friday but you need to get there early because they sell out quick. The sancho is a must try along with their nacho supreme. The chalupa supreme is also really delicious. Their hot sauce has a kick but it is so good!!

Best little hole in the wall for tacos. I've been eating here for 35+ years. Take cash because they don't accept cards. Limited seating for dine-in but their takeout is fast. Don't go for the atmosphere, go for the food.

This place is a hole in the wall it's an old gas station in a shopping center converted. From the outside it looks grubby and you'd probably never stop, BUT you'd be missing out. People are super nice, super quick service and super delicious food. Think about Taco Bell, but home-ified and 1000x better, the burrito supreme is the - seriously, so huge and so delicious. This place is also dirt cheap, but cash only so come prepared.

My family has been going here since The 70s. changed a lot since then. And here recently not for the best. I understand they get busy quickly. But the attitudes are a bit much.

Good friendly service. Hot food . Kinda like a home made Taco Bell, lol , that's the best way to describe it. Oh, with beer and you can buy a case to go ! Great chalupas and tacos. Tacos are regular and jumbo sized. Supreme chalupas and great rice and beans . Cheap too! But a sketchy part of town. 29th and Newcastle . Ehhh it worth it. Lol a lot like bobo's chicken.

This is a dive. The area is horrible. The store front is scary. The parking is tight. That being said, the food is really good. It is not fancy. It is not "presented" well. You do need the hot sauce, but it is the best part. Go for the Habanero if you like spicy. I love the taco burger and the tostada when it is loaded with hot sauce. The giant burritos are really good too. Important Tip: Bring cash. If you are in a group, have someone grab a table as soon as you can as there is limited seating and they fill up super fast!

Tacoville has been in business since 1967 and it's obvious why they are so busy! Wide variety menu, quick service, eclectic, friendly and food is fantastic!! Highly recommend when your in OKC!

Its a very basic place. Some mish mash tables and chairs and decor. I ordered the chicken burrito. It tasted good and was a really big burrito. Much like the decor, the food is simple...but not a bad thing. The price is definitely right. The girls behind the counter were very friendly. Nutshell: not a place to go out of your way for, but for a cheap filling lunch its perfect.

We do not live in OKC, but every time we come to the "big city", we always come here. We love the Combination Burritos and buy enough to take home and freeze for later (if they make it that long)! I have been coming here since I was a tot and never disappoints! Don't forget the hot sauce! Mmmm!!!

Excellent tacos at low prices. Most importantly, I witnessed a man walk in who obviously had Alzheimer's. He repeatedly asked questions about his meal. The staff treated him with kindness and dignity. This is all you have to know about this place to appreciate it.

I have been here many, many times over the years. The food is always tasty and served quickly. The folks who work there (looking at you Nadia and Verna) are always friendly, have a smile on their face and ready to make lunch at Tacoville the best part of my day. The combination burrito or Sancho are usually my standard then add items to compliment the burrito. Items such as soft tacos, Chalupa, nacho supreme, taco burger and others IU cannot remember. A little hot sauce to spice it up a little. I have had the tamale platter a few times and it is very good, too. Guacamole is served on Wed & Fri only. Everybody loves this place. Blue collar. White collar. Construction and oil field workers. Police and fireman. Lawyers and admin assistants. Delivery drivers and healthcare workers. You will see all walks of life coming to get some good food here. It is always fun to take Tacoville virgins here. It is not the best neighborhood, but who cares! The food is good. So good, in fact, that the former virgins will be planning their next trip before they have left the parking lot. May the taco be with you ...

Bring cash.....ask for extra sauce it's very hot, but so good. Best tacos in the world. Husband says their refried beans are the best. Either way you can not go wrong with ordering 1 of each. Looks are very deceiving.

My family grew up eating here. It's a local institution. The guacamole is especially good but only served Wed and Friday. The taco shells are always crisp, never stale. The fresh chopped lettuce and hot sauce make TV stand out. You can be snotty and go to big truck tacos if you like.. but you'll be missing out. They only take cash.. but have an ATM if you need it. My favorites are the crispy tacos, Sanchos and chalupas.

One stop shop for cheap tacos and a 12 pack of beer. Kinda sketchy but if you like good service and hot sauce this is the place. We arrived right when they opened and the line was out the door 5 minutes later.

The Mexican food at this place was AWESOME! Yes, it's a "hole-in-the-wall." Yes, the food itself was cheap. But GOOD? Darlin', it was WONDERFUL! You can say it has an eclectic feel. You order your food from a big board and they yell out your name when it's ready. And the sauce may be indescribable, but it made my nose run and that's a GOOD thing. If you're in or around OKC, definitely check this place out! Did I mention it was GOOD? Cause it is... GOOD that is... REAL GOOD!

Staff was friendly, food came out fast, restaurant was clean. That being said, I ate 3 bites of the burrito I got and threw it out. It was bland, boring, and almost tasted like a stale tortilla. I will probably not return.

Interesting place, not sure why all the hype. The look of the place doesn't bother me at all. The food is just bland. I'm guessing since it's an institution, it just is what it is. Beef, beans, melted cheese on a hard corn shell... nothing fancy... also not a crumb left behind! Ha! Will I come back? Dunno.

It's located in the worst part of town, and this place is falling apart. A huge renovation is needed to get this place looking halfway decent. I don't appreciate the buggy ATM just to be able to pay. It's 2017 - news flash - no one wants to use cash. The food is gross, too. I can honestly get better food at Taco Bell, which isn't saying much. My salad had so much cheese that I couldn't even see my lettuce. It tasted cheap and old. Would not go back.

Awesome. They steam everything. The beef is fantastic. Their burritos are HUGE. Tacos are so good. Haven't had a bad item or experience here.

If you are into greasy ground beef tacos that come in a crunchy fast food taco shell, then this is your place. I don't consider myself a professional taco guy by any stretch of the imagination. However, I do have basic expectations when it comes to Mexican food and it starts with fresh ingredients. Also, when I asked for carne asada and lengua, they had to go find an employee who could speak Spanish to interpret this to the staff, even though I explained it in English to the lady at the counter... WOW... I will not be returning to this establishment. As for the two guys who recommended this place and took me here, you have lost all credibility you had with me! Adios Tacoville!

Great mexican food and cheap too! The combo burrito was one of the best I have tried. Went with co-workers in a large group (7 of us) All enjoyed the food. Place is small, get there early!

Grew up right around the corner from this place and it's my absolute favorite! Hot sauce is on point and staff is very engaging. Definitely looks intimidating, but great atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Dont mind the look of the place or the random people buying beer (you'll see what I mean) this place is good and the homemade sauce is tasty! I know for a fact that certain local tv personalities frequent this joint so EAT Up!!!!
