Meet the Icons of Taipei’s Renowned Street Food Scene | Eater

"A fruit-and-juice stall that expanded into hot meals to balance slower winter fruit sales, now offering fresh fruit juices, milkshakes and vegan noodle dishes alongside popular vegetarian mains such as lion’s mane mushroom ramen and coconut-milk pumpkin curry. Run by a couple who work long days together, the operation emphasizes healthy, natural ingredients, seasonal juice blends (carrot, pineapple, apple, celery, burdock root and beetroot) and kid-friendly treats like avocado pudding milk." - Chris Horton

got me a little nervous at first because i came alone and can't speak chinese, sadly the staff are not really friendly, they make me nervous that i scared to do something wrong until my order come. the food was okay, the curry taste have a strong spice and spicy, and the crispy pork is good to be combined with the curry. the thai tea was just ok too, they only provide the less ice that day but i think the taste is not really sweet so when the ice melted, the taste start to be watery. maybe will come back when not really busy so i can enjoy the atmosphere of the shop ;)

Very tasty dishes. But the staff didn't even pay attention to the guest's questions and just continued to act as if they didn't want to see it, which was quite inconvenient.

Tastes delicious & worth the price especially for Taiwan made. It's rich in flavor. The curry was so so but very soft and the portion was kinda big. Tom yum very rich in flavor but hard to eat because the seafood are mostly clams. Didn't expect there was a pork cracker topping but it was also good & soft. The green chilli really goood! I should've mixed it in the first place with the tom yam, it adds another flavor, a bit sour and kicks!

Although some of the ingredients were not really thai but I was really surprised how the food and even the thai tea was so similar thailand. Yes i know it’s a thai restaurant but not a lot of places in taiwan can do such a good job replicating thai food. Strongly suggest!

the shrimp fried pancake is very delicious! the thai tea is too sweet. the food was overall good! I don’t really like the meat option of tomyum, but the soup is really good!! I hope they can provide pork (not pork neck) or chicken breast. the price is average.

Feb 2025 Red curry (so good!), some rice dishes, tom yum noodle soups, and Thai tea appear to be the main offerings at this hip restaurant. From the outside, the restaurant looks kind of like a tasteful old shack. The vibe was very college-y, laid-back with some element of hipster. Loved the color scheme outside and inside. We arrived around 1:30 PM and didn't have to wait. The restaurant was full and the patrons were on the younger side. Wil and I ordered the red curry with pork neck (5*), a fried pork neck rice dish which arrived with papaya salad and a tasty medium-boiled egg (4*), seasoned duck egg (5*), and a cup of Thai tea with heaps of ice. Why did we order pork neck? It wasn't on purpose and we found that we didn't prefer the long strands of fatty meat though experiencing the squishy firm texture will not be forgotten. The tea was wonderful, came with a charming bamboo straw, and I can't wait to order it again; next time I will order it with less ice. Too bad the food comes out at very different times with the seasoned duck egg arriving at the end of the meal. We will definitely return for the curry, tea, and to try the tom yum noodle soup.

Was craving for authentic Thai food, specifically Tomyum seafood soup! This place was awesome, the presentation was a surprise. I ordered cherry coke n it was actually Coca-Cola + 2 stalks of sweetened cherries IN A BUCKET! How cute was that? Highly recommend to check out this place, good for value.
