Red curry (so good!), some rice dishes, tom yum noodle soups, and Thai tea appear to be the main offerings at this hip restaurant.
From the outside, the restaurant looks kind of like a tasteful old shack. The vibe was very college-y, laid-back with some element of hipster. Loved the color scheme outside and inside.
We arrived around 1:30 PM and didn't have to wait. The restaurant was full and the patrons were on the younger side.
Wil and I ordered the red curry with pork neck (5*), a fried pork neck rice dish which arrived with papaya salad and a tasty medium-boiled egg (4*), seasoned duck egg (5*), and a cup of Thai tea with heaps of ice. Why did we order pork neck? It wasn't on purpose and we found that we didn't prefer the long strands of fatty meat though experiencing the squishy firm texture will not be forgotten.
The tea was wonderful, came with a charming bamboo straw, and I can't wait to order it again; next time I will order it with less ice. Too bad the food comes out at very different times with the seasoned duck egg arriving at the end of the meal.
We will definitely return for the curry, tea, and to try the tom yum noodle soup.
