5 Restaurants to Try This Weekend in NYC - Eater NY

"After hearing about its charm for months, I finally made my way to Tailfeather, a Clinton Hill natural wine bar from the owners of Brooklyn Kolache. It added food recently, which makes it easier to warrant the trek if you don’t already live in the neighborhood." - Eater Staff

Tailfeather Review - Clinton Hill - New York - The Infatuation

"Tailfeather is a wine bar in Clinton Hill that specializes in natural wine. Glasses start at $9, and there are a bunch of options from places like Greece, Georgia, and the Czech Republic. There’s also a whole section devoted to chilled reds, in case you need a cold drink but have a phobia of white or rosé-colored beverages. It’s an interesting selection, and the friendly bartenders will help you find something you like. Try this place for a casual date, use it as your go-to neighborhood spot for a weekday glass of wine, or make a trip out if you’re especially into natural wine. The space is one big room with dark-gray walls and plenty of tables, and there’s a little patio out front where you can hang out with some wine and cheese." - Bryan Kim

I really wanted to like this place... And maybe it was just bad choices after one another, tasted the house red wine and it's not drinkable. Got the rosé house instead slightly better. I should have go fancy on the wine list I guess. Pizza arrived pretty overcooked, see pic. Ordered a beer, but after a good 15 min I had to walk up to the bar to remind them and pick it up. It wasn't busy at all for an early Friday night...

A fantastic wine bar in an unassuming location. High quality, natural wine, well curated by the staff. You can find some of your classics done up, but really this is the place to find new wines to tease your tastebuds.

Google
Wonderfully diverse (but not overwhelming) wine list, rosemary cashews are a treat, cheeseboard is on point, and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Beautiful decor, too.

My ex dragged me here to try to win me back, but I would NEVER because I have SELF RESPECT. Beautiful bar and nice ambiance and I will be back soon. Upvote this if you think I should give him another chance? I can’t do another winter alone

Google
If you’re looking for a fine wine bar to taste the best wines and have a great night either for a date or your friends, do not hesitate. Also do not miss their pizza and the rosemary roasted cashews! Andreina is sweet and very friendly, she is the vibe! Ryan makes the best pizzas, he is a very cool chef. You will come back here, enjoy!

Google
Great wines and you can tell they were thoughtfully selected. Tons of wines owned by women. Very interesting wines from East Europe which I thought was very cool. The decor was beautiful. I had lots of fun when I was there.

Love this place!!! If you are looking for a fun, stylish, place with great food and drink 🍷- look no further! Even for people who are avoiding alcohol, they have some yummy drinks - I had a shrub and I LOVED it. I could finally hang out with my friends and participate! 😆 The owner is very kind and professional and she has a knack for picking out the best quality items - had the cheese plate, the bread, and mozzarella and tomato salad was the best I’ve ever had... I think it’s seasonal, though... The service is also great - I liked the decor and the vibe... Good music too. I could see this place being the type of place where everybody knows your name... I highly recommend Tailfeather!

Google
we went relatively early in the evening, and found a cozy and friendly wine bar, with a lovely bartender who is genuinely excited to share information about the wines on rotation and to set up a tasting. try the chilled red selection on a warm summer evening!
