Nice little craft drink bar. We didn't realize its been open for 4 year, but excellent drink and the menu looks fantastic. We will definitely come back.

Discovered my new favorite drink there - Great place for well made cocktails. Place had a great vibe. Boozy Taylor, so crisp and clean. The bartenders were so knowledgeable and recommended drinks for me to try based on my preferences. And they made my French Blonde fresh and yummy. Atmosphere is great .. cool and hip. Everyone was so kind. Love this place. Will totally come again when I’m in town.

This place is super hip. It is the ideal atmosphere to enjoy high end imaginative cocktails. The bartenders are well equipped to provide those. Plus the small plates selections were great quality and delicious. I can't wait to return.

The best cocktails around! We started our night here every night! Their old fashioned is so perfect and the sewing machine stamped ice cube is such a cool touch! Bartenders are friendly and polite and the glassware is so sexy! Didn’t have any food but everything that went by looked amazing! Definitely trying a meal next time we are here!

An unexpected find in the desert! This bar would be expected in a large metropolitan city like San Francisco or New York City, but it's surprisingly here in Palm Springs. Expertly crafted cocktails and the moody-chic interior design makes for a memorable experience. Drinks (5/5) This bar has an extensive and elevated cocktail list that are on the higher end in terms of the price point; however, each cocktail is handcrafted with a higher degree of details and skills that you cannot find in the Coachella Valley. In a previous visit, I ordered a color changing cocktail which really made a big impression on myself because this was before the color changing drink trend started going viral. In addition, if you're feeling more in the mood for a drink that is less sugary, they have a large spirit selection with numerous bottles of whiskey available. Service (4.5/5) I arrived right at opening so my experience is a bit biased because there were not that many other guests inside with me so the service was attentive and fast. The cocktails do take a little bit longer to make than usual but the drinks require more labor compared to a typical bar (definitely worth the wait still). Ambiance (5/5) This bar is more like a speakeasy because it's hidden away on a side street off of Palm Canyon. The exterior is deceiving because the windows are blacked out and the curtains hide any potential view of the interior. The interior is like a step into high end NYC bar with the posh furniture and the breathtaking illuminated centerpiece bar. The space is on the small side, but this place is meant for a more intimate experience.

The Taylorshop is such a good find! From the moment we walked in, the staff were incredibly friendly with zero attitude. The drinks? Absolutely on point. Thoughtfully crafted, balanced, and strong enough to remind you you're in a proper speakeasy. The ambience is swanky, dark, and intimate. It's the kind of place that makes you feel cooler just for knowing about it. Great for date night or a chill hang with friends. Can't wait to come back!

Cute craft cocktail bar with indoor/outdoor space. You don't have to have a reservation to get in (we saw them take several walk ins while we were at the bar) but reservations do help. I ordered two different cocktails and both of them were good, although I was a little sad that they were out of the ingredients for the one I originally wanted to try. Service was fine, a little slow at times but staff was friendly. I would come back the next time I'm in town.

What a spot. Like a quiet spot with a spot of be with your group? This a great spot to do just that. Tucked away, slightly off the busier street, offers a quiet and beautifully lite and comfortable spot to just hang out. Drinks were superb. Old Fashion was made spot of, whiskey forward. The bartender was gracious and super informative about different drinks to compliment the palette of my wife.

I absolutely loved the ambiance, esthetics, drinks and service here. One of my favorite places in Palm Springs. It felt upscale, clean and intimate. However, the food options are limited.

Cool and moody atmosphere with great service and a cool vibe. I like some snacks with my drinks and their varied and delicious menu did not disappoint, particularly their cheese board and tuna crisps. Loved the bar staff, they were helpful in choosing drinks and welcoming!

Very disappointing. When we ordered we mentioned we had dinner reservations in an hour. Knowing they were craft cocktails and they could take a little while we asked for the bill which we prepaid. Half an hour later after two trips to the bar the waitress finally brought our drinks. Purposely tipped one of them over slightly and spilled on us, didn't bring napkins, and was pretty rude. The drinks were good though.

Got lucky with 2 open spots at the bar! Great ambiance feels intimate perfect for date night. Only tried the chicken dumplings and they were amazing! Such a cute little hidden gem can't wait to come back again and try more food!

Having visited twice now I won't be back. Incredibly slow service, two bartenders were more interested in chatting with people sitting at the bar than making drinks. If you want to wait 30 minutes for overpriced drinks, have at it...

Hip and modern vibes. Last drink of the night and was good but personally would have preferred a little less cinnamon in my drink. Otherwise very tasty and strong! Did have a nice touch of pairing the drink with a piece of chocolate that brought out the flavor of the drink. Nice extra touch. Server was attentive and pleasant. Would love to check this out earlier in the night when I have a little more gas left to try more of the cocktails.

We were excited to try Tailor Shop so the two of us stopped by for cocktails on a Saturday night. There were only two bartenders tending bar and serving, who were doing all they could, but service was still very slow. We waited for one of them to take our order for 10 minutes, and then waited 15 minutes more for the drinks, which were not worth the price or wait. We saw multiple parties walk in, wait, order, wait more, and leave without getting their drinks. It's also so dark in there that we had to use our phone flashlights to read the menu. Overall, it's a good space and concept, but they need to have at least three bartenders working, especially on a Saturday night, and each table needs the lamps which are provided on the bar.

After finishing dinner, we came here for a second round and a simple cocktail. The atmosphere is modern, elegant, and sophisticated, which I really liked. However, there was only one staff, so it took more than 20 minutes just to place our order, and it took over 30 minutes for our drinks arrive. Out of the four drinks we ordered, except for the wine, the cocktails were just average, and none were memorable enough to make me want to come back. That said, the ambiance and interior were quite nice.

My boyfriend and I went there a few weeks ago all the way from San Diego and so enjoyed this place! The vibe was so good and the bartender was lovely and professional. Knew exactly what cocktail we like! I recommend you all to try this place!

Best whiskey sour I've ever had. And the wait staff were so willing to chat and guide me through options. It's a small menu, but everything offered is delicious and unique. Great night!

This is a wonderful hideaway place. Very dark, wish it weren't quite so dimly lit. Service was better the first time I visited. This time, there was a very loud and disruptive customer who spent quite a bit of time behind the bar, touching a lot of bottles and equipment. It was disturbing. Only one person mixing drinks so drinks took a very long time. Too long to order another.

We were told to wait for particular seats at the bar, which we were happy to do because we didn't have a reservation. Once that party got up, the bartender sat a party of 2 that arrived after us (which had a reservation, but their table wasn't ready yet) right in the middle of the bar seating which could have accommodated 4. Instead of adjusting seats at the bar and making it work for everyone, the bartender just said we had to wait longer and he'll figure something out. Don't bother coming here if you don't have a reservation because they will treat you as not worthy.

BEST bar in Palm Springs! Isaac and Elliot are the power team. The 1st night we were there we had an amazing time speaking with Isaac. Recommend some amazing drinks not on their menu. All I can say is WOW. For all my girlies that are looking for a unique and delicious drink. You gotta try this spot! We came back right before our trip ended and met Elliot. The man behind the creation of these FAB drinks. This would have to be One of my favorite bars to come back too and recommend to those looking for a good time. Along with all that this bar is GORGEOUS and the details to every single thing. I just can't even explain. Tailor shop IS A VIBE'

We decided to try this place in March. It didn't disappoint. The meatballs were delicious, I would definitely get them. They are a little pricey, but so good! I got a mocktail, it was very good. My husband got an old fashioned. It was a bit pricey don't get me wrong, but the drinks were good. Service is alright. They seemed a little stressed, but still nice. The ambiance though... I want my entire house to feel like it feels in there. It's like a dark academia theme in there, and I'm in love! I would definitely go again!

Stopped by the Tailor Shop for pre drinks before dinner at their sister restaurant Sandfish Sushi nearby. A very cool speak easy vibe and loved the colors. Service was very friendly and made great beverage suggestions. So much attention to detail throughout the space and in their beverage creations.

Pros: Nice and dark and quiet. Bartender was super approachable and down to help us figure out what we wanted. We told him what we liked and he made us his own creations and they were super good. Cons: Oof, drinks are SPENDY. They ask if you want still or sparkling water and the still was $10 and tasted like tap. Would have love to have known it was ten dollars ahead of time. We got two drinks each and the check was $90. To be fair, though we didn't order off the menu, the drinks on the menu were all about $18-$20something each but for some reason it was still a little shocking. There are no real signs to find it so it's a little confusing. If you've got cash to spend, or are celebrating something special, this is a great spot!!

Trailer shop seems to have a upscale dive bar kind of aesthetic. I loved it. Great playlist and delicious cocktails. We are only in town for the weekend and our waitress was very welcoming. She took our orders on a timely manner and send us a round of shots. My type of customer service! I'm only in PS once a year but I'll be sure to spread the word about this spot. My group loved it.

Loved this place! The vibe was exactly what we were looking for! Dark, light music, fancy cocktails, seating available. Cocktails were delicious. We had great service. They seated us right away and were quick to get our drinks and recommend drinks. The server gave us great recommendations for other spots to visit.

I rarely write yelp reviews but I felt it necessary after seeing the negative reviews on here because the Tailor Shop doesn't deserve any of the hate or poor reviews that its getting. I've been here 4 times in the past 2 months and this easily has become my favorite bar. The atmosphere and décor is exactly my kind of vibe (low light with soft music). It has a really interesting feel and theme to it but its not a very big bar by any means. I've been here both during the week and on the weekend. During the week you can probably get away with not making a reservation, but on the weekend I would highly recommend it. This is not the kind of bar that you can just walk in, stand at the bar, and order a drink. Everyone is given a table and its essentially treated like a restaurant that serves alcohol and appetizer size dishes (the meatballs, chicken dumplings, and spicy tuna tostada are amazing). If you're looking for a club or a typical bar that you can just walk into and wander around don't come here. They want their customers to have a personalized experience and excellent craft cocktails, both of which they are great at. Every time I've gone I've had the same bartender, Elliott, and he's phenomenal. He's an excellent bartender and knows how to make great drinks, or even just how to put a twist on a classic. You can literally tell him what type of alcohol you like he'll make something up off the top of his head. Every cocktail he's made for me and my friends has been delicious and you can tell that he takes pride in his craft. He's very kind and personable and has always made us feel welcome, so much so that he remembers us and our drinks every time we go. He along with the other bartenders and the hostesses have always been very friendly and attentive. Don't listen to the negative reviews on here because they're far from an accurate representation of what the Tailor Shop is like and how your experience will be. If nothing else, give it a try for yourself and you'll see. Yes, its more expensive than a regular bar, but the quality is beyond comparison and you're paying for the bartenders' knowledge and expertise. You're not just paying for a drink, you're paying for an experience.

The decor and the vibe is also very intimate. I would highly suggest this place, but make sure you get reservations as it could be tricky to get in there.

Really was one of my favorite places to go when in town. As a testament to how much I loved this place, I've probably taken over 20 people here over the last year or so. Visited last night after Village Fest and what a joke. Profanity ridden music was blasting, was welcomed by a nice woman and advised to sit anywhere. Bartender was so busy talking with two other people at the bar we were basically ignored for 10 minutes. Mind you, it was 6 patrons in the full bar. Drinks came out VERY slowly - I get it, craft cocktails take time. But this was woeful disregard to making our drinks and concentrating all efforts to schmoozing some drinkers who were visiting from out of town. Finally had our drinks when another couple sat at the bar followed by a 4-top who sat in a corner. The next 30 minutes were met with hearing him talk with everyone else, check on everyone else's liking of their drinks, and even get refills for everyone else (plus serving a group of 3) before I had to just shout over one of his conversations to ask for the check. Again, I get it. It's a craft cocktail and can take some time. And that part of the fun is to chat with the bartender. But if talking to the same two people comes at expense of everyone else's service. No thanks. Also, why were we singled out to be ignored for almost the entire time is beyond me. Were we dressed too poorly? Not old enough? Whatever the case may be, the next time I visit and he's the bartender on duty, I will be popping over to the tiki bar next door instead. P.s. 2 stars for 5-star drinks. -3 stars for absolutely horrible service.

Can't speak on behalf of the food, however the cocktails were delicious! They were strong and made with love. The dinner speak easy vibe of the place made it cosy for a date night. We were seated fairly quickly and the staff was very friendly

my bf surprised me by taking me here after our goodbye dinner at Porto Via's. He assured me I'd love it since his coworkers raved about this speakeasy. We loved the vibe immediately the setting of the lights and playlist just uplifts your mood! nothing like it in palm springs and I have visited a lot of bars here. This is exactly what we need. Though I do wish the drinks were simple like a marg that's straight to the point teq/lime/ whatever fruit but they are going with a concept here and I appreciate that. Our bartender was attentive and kind. We enjoyed our night.

Came at a perfect time and found a corner spot against the planter wall. Good music and lovely dim lighting. The five of us had a very nice time and before we knew it , 3 hours had past. Drinks we had were the Vaspar, Espresso martini, dirty martini, margarita and a customized mock tail. We all enjoyed our time and will definitely be back.

OMG. Loved everything about this place: the food, the cocktails along with great service and conversations. We will drive 2 hours for a long weekend stay to come here again.

Quick update. They have a secret winter/holiday menu! All you have to do is ask. We had a pear sidecar, a pine Manhattan, an eggnog, and a peppermint white chocolate martini. All excellent. Drinks were made very quick on a slow Monday. Excellent service and exceptional drinks.

A sexy, dark, intimate vibe with elegant drinks. It was more of a quiet night cap or the start of a good night. I liked the drink selections but only had the spifflicated fly and that was fantastic!

My partner and I had a fantastic experience at Tailor Shop. The service from being seated to getting our drinks was great. The bartender is very knowledgable about the different drinks and ingredients making ordering easy. This is to say that we enjoyed every drink we had including a special test drink the bartender was working on. A drink we were lucky to have and we hope this drinks makes it to the regular menu! So. I have to call out this drink because it was absolutely delicious! A taste and texture that makes you want more. I can not recall every ingredient but I will tease you and say it contained Avocado and Gin. Alongside other things. It is pictures in one of the attached images. We will be coming back and looking forward to the success of this establishment.

I have to agree with Kimberly W from San Diego. The drinks were great but that was it. We had a reservation, after we were seated it took 15 minutes for the bartender to take our drink orders. We also ordered a 4 small plates, drinks arrived 20 minutes later, 2 plates arrived 20 minutes after that. Ordered another round of drinks and which took another 20 minutes to get. Finished those drinks, the 2 missing plates never arrived. After about 2 hours we decided to pull the plug, asked for the check and had to get the 2 missing plates removed from the bill. Would have given 1 star but the 2 bartenders were working their butts off. It seems like this place is just poorly managed. Doubt if we will go back.

Don't be fooled by the good looking bar. There's limited drink options. Only 3 vodka options; mid to lower end and a Japanese option. . 2 stars because the food was good. Everything else is trying to be better than it is.

This place is simply amazing. The drinks are excellent and the food is perfection. They have a cocktail menu or you can just let the mixologist "custom fit" a drink for you. We left the decisions for all of our drinks to the professionals and each one of them came out better than the last. The speakeasy vibe is on point and the staff couldn't have been better. The owner/manager came by the table to check on us and ensure we enjoyed his creation and explain the genesis of the speakeasy. If you are looking for a great place to come and have an experience, let the Tailor Shop "size you up!!"
