"For good spicy beef noodle soup, we’re willing to go on a road trip. Going to Quincy may not actually qualify as one, but we’ve screamed with the gusto of a five-year-old more than a few times on 93 - and not always internally. The noodle soup is our mainstay here, but the sweet and sour pork chop, beef brisket in hot claypot, and dan dan noodles are all great as well." - Joel Ang

Google
My family loves this restaurant for their authentic Taiwanese dishes. We tried a few new dishes each visit, but there some dishes we ordered all the time like crispy corns, spicy duck, and whole fish with cabbage. Tonight, we tried a new spicy chicken dish. It’s a yummy dish, but it may numb your mouth for about 10 minutes. There might be a wait if you stop by during peak hours. Parking shouldn’t be an issue. You can park on the street or park at the city free parking lot across the street. Lastly, their servers are super fast and friendly. Two things that I hope the restaurant can improve: 1. May want to use Jasmine tea for their hot tea 2. Try different version of chili oil Overall, we are happy with this restaurant and highly recommended!!

no matter you eat in or take out, Taipei Cuisine never let you down! I am Taiwanese and I am telling you even many stores in NYC can't match their dishes!!! Yep, THAT good! service is friendly, and price is fairly in the pricy world right now especially for the lunch combo. I tried almost everything and I just love everything we ordered! Do try it, you are going to love it! Parking is a bit problem since the area is getting really busy now but not as bad as in Boston Chinatown.

We stopped by for dinner on Sunday. It was busy. Make reservations in advance. We got the cucumber in chili sauce. It was a good hit of sour and spicy. The cabbage dumplings were flavorful and juicy. The scallion pancakes were crispy and not oily. We got the Dang dan noodles with peanut sauce. I'm a bit disappointed. Lack with flavor. We got the grilled fish with tomato sauce. The fish cooked perfectly. The tomato sauce compliments the fried fish. I would definitely order the grilled fish with tomato sauce again.

I love love love the food, especially the salty egg yolk corn. The restaurant atmosphere wasn’t bad, just a little crowded. Everything was clean and well presented. When we were done, they offered to pack our leftovers for us, but when we got home, we found out they put liquids in a styrofoam container that leaked and got on our car interior and our house floors before we noticed. It wasn’t packaged properly, so if you can, try to pack it yourself. We were really disappointed in this because it was gross and messy. Otherwise, great food.

I went here for dinner and everything was amazing. The menu is huge and has an impressive selection of dishes. The quality of the food and the portion size was great. This place is perfect for a big group with different tastes because the menu will have something for everybody. The service was also impressive - the staff are very attentive and made sure to check in often to make sure we have everything we need. The food came out very quick - I started eating after 10 minutes of ordering. We will definitely come back again for dinner! Highly recommend ordering the eggplant with basil, sichuan-style stir fry lamb wrap in foil, beef with scallion roll in scallion pancake, and dry pot pork.

If you are putting Taipei Cuisine in Chinatown area, they would taken all the guests from other places The restaurant was my last minute decision after a long tiring day, so no expectation there coming to the place. The staff was very friendly even though it was later in the day. I thought I would have to wait for a long time for food but they came our Quick ! everything was delicious. The beef scallion cake made me fall in love, the beef and potato pan was perfectly spiced. And people say you cannot mess up the fried rice, here they brought it to the next level. The bill at the end was good, a little bit more expensive than your typical chinese food but please have a look at the portion. I fed myself another day.

First time here ,the food was so good, tasty, came with good amount and the restaurant looks clean ,atmosphere is homey. It felt like eating at our parent’s home in our hometown ,very satisfied Ps.I love Clams with basil dish so much❤️ definitely will get back because of it

We been coming here for years. The food has gotten better. We love the double Fish in tomato sauce. It is crispy and moist . The spicy beef in scallions pancakes is bomb. Soup Dumpling is so soft and juicy inside. Overall a good time. A bit pricey but everything is now

Yelp
Taipei Cuisine has comforting soup dumplings of a variety of flavors including crabmeat and pork, sea cucumber, and traditional pork. I enjoyed all these flavors and loved the roast beef rolled in scallion pancake appetizer as well as the comforting beef noodle soup (which I wish I had asked for more spicy) If you're in the area, Taipei Cuisine taiwanese restaurant will serve you great comforting dishes at an affordable price, and I definitely recommend visiting Service was quick and there's lots of seating as well

Yelp
I came here for lunch right around 11 AM when they opened. The place is clean and fairly spacious. I was seated right away. Service was fast and they serve tea once seated (I love that). For food I got: Beef rib dry pot--Very so slightly numbing in spice, so good and addicting. It's not spicy to the point where you cannot eat it nor does the spices build. The short ribs were thin like kalbi. There were tons of potatoes. I do wish instead of just potatoes they would have veggies like cabbage or something else. I do recommend this. Next time I'll have to try other dry pots. Cabbage dry pot--They use Chinese cabbage which is surprisingly better than expected cause it is slightly sweet unlike Napa cabbage. The flavor is sweet and slightly numbing. Definitely a must order if you want a veggie dish. Fatty Beef Noodle in Sour Soup-- If you like hot and sour soup this is very similar. I do think it is a bit too sour (too much vinegar). This may be bias opinion since I normally do not like hot and sour soup, but my bf who does also thought it was a bit too sour. I was not a fan of this dish, and will not be ordering again.

Yelp
Another visit for family bday dinner. Staff is always quick and nice when we eat here. Foods definitely always good, better when you come when it's slower (more prep time for the kitchen imo) today everything was spot on. Will continue to be a regular customer here! Little bit of everything with some dishes we didn't try before. Got the usuals Long horn pepper beef Crispy intestines Twice cook fish Gen gaus Soup dumplings Some noods and rice.

Justin L.

Yelp
Got the pork chop noodle soup! Pork chop was nice and crispy, soup felt really "clean" ( no oil.... ). Plenty of noodle for a satisfying dish!

Rovingaile P.

Yelp
Came back for a third time to get my favorite beef scallion pancake (still delicious, though the marinade on the meat was a bit too sweet) and to try a new dish - braised eggplant and string bean. Seasoning was perfect and sautéed well to make the eggplant juicy but keep the string bean somewhat crispy still. Added to my staple dishes at this place for me!

Lizzie Y.

Yelp
Taipei Cuisine is one of my go-to spots for dinner or a quick lunch. Their lunch is a great deal, served from 11am-4pm daily, ~$30 for 3 dishes. My favorite dishes to order include: roast beef scallion pancake rolls, seafood stir fried noodles, dry pot beef, and either the preserved veggies fish fillet or mala fish maw. Service is decent for a Chinese restaurant and the food always comes served steaming hot and flavorful. You honestly cannot go wrong with any of the dishes on their menu... everything is super tasty & you won't regret it. Great spot to try if you enjoy spicy (especially Szechuan/Sichuan style) mala !

Yelp
We were craving Taiwanese food and found this place while exploring Quincy. We arrived around 3 PM and were greeted by a hostess who simply asked for our party size and seated us. She served us hot tea, which we assumed was complimentary. However, since it was around 85°F outside, hot tea wasn't exactly what we wanted. The waitress who took our order had a similarly cold and curt demeanor. When we asked about the protein in the vermicelli dish, she seemed annoyed and responded with "huh?" After repeating the question, she listed pork and some vegetables. I ordered the spicy sour fatty beef soup with vermicelli. At around 3:20 PM, we noticed the waitresses, hostess, and kitchen staff eating lunch. Our entrees arrived about 10 minutes after ordering. The beef in the soup was not the fatty sliced beef we expected but rather quite lean. The soup base was spicy and sour but heavily loaded with MSG. The Taiwanese vermicelli was decent, although the portion was small. We signaled for some ice water, and the waitress mumbled something in response. Throughout our meal, no one checked on us or offered to bring the check when we finished. As we had parked on the street and were approaching our parking limit of 90 minutes, we wanted to leave. We tried waving down the staff for the check, but they didn't notice until we walked toward the register. One of the staff members commented, "Wow, they're leaving without paying" (I understand Mandarin). While we were glad to try some Taiwanese food, the service was terrible, and we won't be returning.

Yelp
I found this place from Yelp. I came here on lunch hour, to my surprise they gave me large table for 8 people for myself. Servers are nice and friendly. I ordered crabmeat & pork dumplings, braised pork belly with steamed buns, and spicy beef noodle soup. Noodle was thick and al dente, beef tendons were soft and easy to chew. Dumplings came with a surprise as I didn't expect they were soup dumplings. Pork belly buns are also great for appetizer even though they can add more slice of pork belly in the bao. The restaurant is overall clean and was a bit noisy during lunch hour.

Yelp
Though I tend to visit this spot during the dinner rush, they've got some yummy dishes on their extensive menu - plus, food usually comes out fresh from the kitchen pretty quickly, despite how busy this restaurant can be! Definitely one of my favorite spots in Quincy, with their snug little ambiance - which frankly makes it easier to go family-style with their dishes, in my honest opinion. Anyway, food-wise, I'd probably say that I enjoy their dry pot dishes the most - with plenty of the flavors of what's being cooked simply seeping into the crisp potatoes and savory veggies. If anything, I'd definitely recommend trying out their dry pot, not only for its lovely tastes but also for its cute lil display. Would come back for more

Yelp
Spicy Beef Scallion Rolls 3.5 the scallion rolls itself is delicious, a side of curry would be perfect for it. You can order the roll with or without the jalapeños, which can be overwhelming. Normally order takeout because the restaurant is usually packed and a bit loud. Takeout orders are normally packed quickly.

Yelp
I was staying at a nearby hotel in Quincy. On the way back to my hotel, I got off at the North Quincy Station to check out this restaurant. I arrived at an odd hour between it being too late for lunch and too early for dinner. The first lady that seated me and took my order was pretty nice. However, the lady that brought out my food and gave me the bill had a very sourpuss face! It was as if she was using her facial expression to say, "how dare you disturbed my break! Why are you here at this odd hour?" :) I ordered their spicy beef noodle soup. It was not bad. They had free WiFi with the password at the entrance.

Amy M.

Yelp
Roast Beef w. Scallions Roll in Scallion Pancake - this was really good. I would reorder this dish but I think I'd get the spicy version next time for more spice. Had a good amount meat filling. Beef with scallion - this was decent and the beef was tender. There were a lot a onions in this dish.

Yelp
It's been tough trying to find an authentic Taiwanese restaurant in the Greater Boston and so I'm very glad I found this spot! Definitely my go-to for Taiwanese food. They have quick service, and food comes out fresh and quick. Everything had great flavoring like I would expect, and was given lots of food. A small hole in the wall, but feels like a comforting, homey spot to come to for a sit down meal. A few favorites: - Stir-fried Rice Cake with Preserved Veggie and Shredded Pork - Oyster pancake

Kevin L.

Yelp
Food came out quickly and was delicious. Those soup dumplings were really juicy. Prepare for splashing.

Yelp
Taipei Cuisine is a gem for food in the Boston area. My go to at Taipei Cuisine is a delivery meal just because I live in Boston with no car and getting to Quincy is its own adventure. Their (online) Pick 3 lunch special from 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM for $38.95 is a steal and it feeds me and my partner for minimum 2 meals. The first few times I ate at Taipei Cuisine, I was heartbroken to see that it was just out of my delivery radius, as I'm based in downtown Boston. There can be a wait on the weekends, but on weekdays, it tends to be quiet outside of peak lunch times. Then, I discovered they expanded their radius! UberEats has a fee to be delivered to me but it's well worth it! I usually order the stir fried rice cakes with preserved veggie and shredded pork. There's bamboo in the mix as well and the rice cakes are tender and the dish shows up well packed and hot despite the far distance it has to travel. Additionally, I order the Pick 3 - most recently, I ordered the Szechuan Spicy Fish, the Diced Chicken with Chili Pepper, and the Salt and Pepper Pork chop. The Szechuan Spicy Fish gets devoured immediately. The Diced Chicken and Salt and Pepper pork chop reheats excellently in the air fryer. The meal also came with three small to-go containers of white rice, and three small soup. I've had a bone broth with seaweed and egg, I've had hot and sour soup. Everything shows up well packed with little pieces of cardboard inserted for the bag to maintain its integrity for such large orders. I highly recommend Taipei Cuisine. It's where I take my parents when they're in town.

Barbara K.

Yelp
This place is small but cozy. Fast service and fairly clean. The food is very flavorful and the price is very fair. A good place for a quick hearty meal

VietCitron T.

Yelp
I love the xiao long bao here, not the thinest skin but the flavors were on point. I always love their bitter melon & chinese yam w/ salted egg yolk, so refreshing. The fish fillet in chili oil was a huge portion and quite good in flavors. Overall, we do enjoy coming here for family dinner when my Taiwanese in-laws are in town. It's great stop in Quincy!

Mia L.

Yelp
I can't get enough of this place! Their food is mouthwatering. You've got to come and experience it for yourself.

Shaun L.

Yelp
Tired of going into Chinatown and going to the usual spots, we decided to try the Taiwanese fair in north Quincy. This was a nice alternative although parking is getting more difficult in the billings road area. It was pretty clean, not a huge restaurant but has plenty of seats. The service was fine. Not spectacular but not awful. They have a pretty nice lunch deal of 3 rice plates for $30 similar to other Taiwanese restaurants in Chinatown. The food was overall good but some were better than others. In order of favorite to least was the spicy fish, lo mein, the beef scallion pancake, spicy wontons and the soup dumplings. I'd get the first three again, the wontons were good but I'd try something else. The soup dumplings were fine, but not amazing. The spicy fish had loads of fish and wasn't overloaded with schezuan peppercorns which is nice. I don't like biting into them, the taste lingers too long and affects the flavor of everything you eat. The beef scallion pancake was crispy and the fresh scallions brightens the fried pancake. The lo mein was surprisingly good, I didn't expect it to be. Most places go through the motions but the chefs knew what they were doing. The spicy wontons were yummy, although the hot oil wasn't very spicy. The soup dumpling skin wasn't too thick, but lacked that delicious soup flavor.

Yingjie Z.

Yelp
I think they added more Sichuan style dishes to the menu. We tried three spicy dishes, taste just a bit salty.

Juan Y.

Yelp
Good food for taking out! Nice boss, nice employee We will order the food next time, I like your vegetable fried rice noodle. Easy and quick with the foods.

Hanna G.

Yelp
This is my parents' favorite restaurant. Without fail we come here every single time when meeting up. Street parking can be tricky during peak hours, but we've always found something and there's a parking lot across the street. They have lunch specials everyday (not just weekdays) and my parents love this deal of 3 for $29 where it comes with rice and bone soup. We all get to choose from the smaller subset of the menu. Honestly the food there is fairly tasty for a good cost so I can understand why they continue to return. Some of the favorites have been - Roast Beef w. Scallions Roll in Scallion Pancake - Salted Crispy Chicken - Dry Pot Beef We've also tried the soup dumpling which was fine with the mixture of crab but it wasn't a showstopper. Then again I could go without the parking nightmare of going into Boston/Chinatown. I always enjoy getting leftovers to continue for future meals. The interior of the restaurant is a modest size and they have your regular 4 person tables and larger circle ones with your standard lazy susan wheel, which a staple for sharing family style. If you're in North Quincy and want to try this Taiwanese restaurant I am sure you'll find something you'll like here!

Ryan C.

Yelp
We ordered beef chow fun, Taiwanese Stink tofu, and pan fried buns. The beef chow fun didn't have much color or flavor and the portion was rather small. The pan fried buns were normal buns that they pan fried, which resulted in a much thicker bun than traditional pan fried buns. The buns also had minimal flavor. The stinky tofu wasn't very fragrant but the sauce was decent. The pickled cabbage that usually comes with the tofu came in a rather small portion. Overall, the meal left us underwhelmed. It's certainly better than Chinese take out but doesn't come close to satisfying a craving.

Cindy H.

Yelp
I have grabbed take out a couple of times and it has always just been OK. The lunch special portions are quite small but pretty good bang for your buck. I absolutely adore Szechuan food so I was disappointed to find a lot of their "spicy" dishes bland. The dry pot and fish fillet barely tickled my tongue, but I won't say they were bad. It is just hard to come here because there's no particular dish that I love and the prices are quite high. They do have some unique Taiwanese dishes that are hard to find, so that might be the way to go. Staff is not that friendly but they always seem to be super busy when I come in.

Christine W.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite taiwanese restaurants in Quincy. I came here with a friend for lunch and got their lunch special where you got to pick three items for ~35 dollars. The lunch comes with soup and rice as well. My friend and I got a cauliflower dish, picked greens, and a pork dish. We also got the Roast Beef with Scallions Roll in Scallion Pancake. The service was really good. It was quick, the staff was nice and was able to give us suggestions. Of the lunch special dishes, my favorite was the cauliflower dish. It came on a hot plate and it was very flavorful. The other dishes we got were okay and not very memorable. The roast beef roll was also very filling and my friend loved it. Overall, it was a nice lunch spot for taiwanese food.

Yaya Z.

Yelp
My favorite lunch value menu place that offers authentic Chinese food! You can't beat the lunch deal.

Olivia M.

Yelp
Everything was really yummy and the service was fast and quick. I took advantage of the timing and ordered from the lunch section so the portions are a bit smaller than the typical serving but they were still VERY generous portions and plenty to share. The pork soup dumplings were my favorite, Haven't found better ones in the quincy area yet!

Deja V.

Yelp
Never had a chance to write my review for this great authentic Taiwanese food place . Used to to come here alot for the great food . Their juicy dumplings just is up there as one of the best . The fish are excellent along with the longhorn beef , the 3 cups chicken and the corns . Everything turns out perfect and such an enjoyable meal.

Melanie W.

Yelp
I wanted to order their chili wonton and corn with egg yolk for take out but checking the price... I won't be ordering take out or dine in again. I know they increased their price after their renovation and reopened few months ago. I know most of the restaurants increased their price but not this crazy. Corn with egg yolk used to cost $14, now $22. They used can corn from the can too... I know any food used egg yolk as flavor are expensive... even snacks sell in egg yolk flavor in market are pricey than other flavors. This dish price is crazy.

Lucy L.

Yelp
This is the 2nd time I've been here since they chance ownership. Maybe it's because the lunch time is over and it's during break time when we walk in. They greeted us with tea and seated us, went back to the table for their "side work". I grabbed their attention and asked to order, one of the servers came over and offered some ice water then proceeded to walk away back to the table and had a full conversation with the rest of the crew. This place used to be one of the best taiwanese place in the area, now they just used the name Taipei. Dishes are nothing taiwanese like, the level of service is also sub-par. I feel this may be my last time visiting this old legendary place.

Amy P.

Yelp
Food taste so good, if you are looking for Szechuan food( spicy) , you should come to this place. It's better to make reservation cause the place get so busy on weekend. The service need to get improve.

N L.

Yelp
The prices have increased quite a lot recently but I suppose that's to be expected Food remains high quality and overall worth the price.

John H.

Yelp
Solid place for takeout when you are craving quick Chinese food that is more on the authentic side. Prices are on the higher side for the portion side. We went pig heavy and ordered the pork fried rice, pork with dried bean curd and Chinese celery, and pork and leek dumplings. The food was less oily and not as salty as most places (which is a plus). Despite being on the pricier side, food met expectations but I wouldn't say it blew me away hence the 3 stars. Note they appear to be closed on Tuesdays now.

Helen H.

Yelp
I wish we had gone with a larger group so that we could have tried more dishes. We loved the very flavorful crabmeat & pork dumplings, perfectly fried crispy tofu, and pan-fried dumplings. We also enjoyed a platter of noodles. The service was very fast even though the restaurant was packed with diners.

Lydia L.

Yelp
I went to Taipei Cuisine for dinner with my grandparents again. We ordered a bunch of dishes, and my favorite was definitely the Salt & Pepper Pork Chop. After another visit, I really enjoy, again, how fresh everything tastes and how I don't go into a food coma from overly seasoned foods with tons of msg in it. Overall, compared to most Taiwanese restaurants, the dishes are a little pricier for a much better quality. I think its definitely worth it. Here are details about each dish that we shared today (I ranked from personally best to worst): 1.)Salt & Pepper Pork Chop - I always love salt and pepper pork chop but the pieces they gave us were pretty meaty, perfectly seasoned, and crispy on the outside. It is not anything special though, just a very solid pork chop. (I am just biased on this one because its crispy pork chop) 2.)Shredded Pork, Bamboo Shoots with Dry Bean Curd - This delicious dish was unique looking and really good. It is well seasoned and is great on top of rice. It was one of our saucier dishes and was the greasiest one served among the rest. 3.)Braised Eggplant with String Beans - Great vegetable dish with soft and tasty string beans. The eggplant was cut small enough to really get that perfect bite it with the string beans, meat, and rice. 4.)Mini Juicy Dumplings with Pork - These are simply solid mini soup dumplings. There was a good amount of soup inside. The only strange thing about these dumplings was that the meat inside tasted more like chinese turkey meatballs, and wasn't as compelling as a normal soup dumpling. However, they put a good chunk of meat inside each dumpling. 5.)Fish Filet with Sour Cabbage & Vermicelli Soup - There wasn't much fish inside, but it was a pretty subtle soup. This soup is a bit more vinegary (or sour) if that's your preference. We finished that dish pretty quickly despite the huge bowl they gave us. 6.)Stir Fried Pork w/ Calamari in black bean sauce- This dish was good but there was a ton of celery which could've been softer to eat. This dish looked similar to the "Shredded pork, bamboo shoots with dry bean curd" but was a little drier, which complemented the rest of the dishes pretty well. 7.)Pan Fried Pork Buns - These looked really yummy but when we cut them open, it was mostly bread. I was expecting more meat inside, which would've evened out the texture. The pork buns were also really greasy. 8.) Taiwanese style Stir Fried Vermicelli - I did not try this but my family did not comment anything special about it. I'm assuming it is just an average Vermicelli dish.

Na L.

Yelp
My fellow foodies, do not waste your money on this restaurant with the worst customer service. The food is mediocre, the waitress is poorly trained. One waitress rolled her eyes on me, talk shit about me in public in front of me and behind my back with the kitchen staff simply I pointed out one of the dishes were not up to the standard. If you want to be scolded for advocating for your own right as a customer, then be my guest. Or else stay away from this hole in the wall.

Sovana P.

Yelp
The food was good, the atmosphere was nice. The service great. The menu had great option. But I wish they would bring out all the plate plates all at once. It's a lil over priced. I wouldn't go back.

Hannah C.

Yelp
It's very accessible, only ~6 min walk from North Quincy T station. Spicy beef noodle soup- a lot of beef which was a nice surprise. Great flavor; however, I grew up eating spicy food and this wasn't spicy at all to me. Also unless you can eat a lot or you're sharing with others, there'll be leftover noodle. I'd order this again! Lunch special (it's $11 for 1 entree) bok choy- I had a few sips of the soup that comes with the special and didn't like it; I hate wasting food, but I couldn't eat it. And bok choy did not have much flavor Fried rice with chicken- bland, found it hard to keep eating after a few bites Overall, I would visit again but only to try other items (would not recommend ordering bok choy or fried rice)

Elyse O.

Yelp
So delicious!! The dry pot, both beef and frog were amazing. The Taiwan buns were hot and fresh, the pork filling was very nice and had large chunks of ground pork. We devoured the wonton with chili oil.

Rachael Ann W.

Yelp
Food was 5/5, hands down. We ordered the crab Rangoon, juicy dumplings, roast beef rolls, and pork buns. It was plenty of food for three people and far superior to anything I've had up in china town. Staff was not incredibly attentive, but we didn't feel at all rushed either, so we got to chat and catch up. Definitely stop by here if you're looking for some tasty Asian cuisine.

Tiffany Y.

Yelp
We did takeout from Taipei Cuisine and were really impressed. The service is no frills but friendly. The portions are large and prices very reasonable for the area. Most importantly, the food was amazing and the flavors on point. We ordered beef noodle soup, jia jiang noodes, dumplings, and buns. They did justice to some of my favorite foods!

Coe B.

Yelp
Sour fish soup is great here. Dining room is very small but staff is nice and prices are good. Parking is on the street. The main language is mandarin, but they can speak enough english to take your order and payment at the end. I do highly recommend this place and have eaten there many times. Tell em knee how when you walk in, they will appreciate it.

Bob L.

Yelp
Came here to dine in with the family and wanted to compare this location to Taiwan cafe (which is my go to for Taiwan cuisine) in Chinatown, Boston. There were quite a few of us so we were able to sample quite a few items. We started off with a few complimentary chicken soups that came with some of our lunch special dishes and it wasn't too bad. The spicy fish fillet with vegetables is good especially if you like your food spicy. The fish was tender and the spice gave the whole dish a nice kick to it which I enjoyed. The shrimp and egg dish is standard fare. Shrimp was well cooked and seasoned though ultimately nothing special. My parents ordered pig intestine as it's a Taiwanese specialty but I didn't partake since I'm not a huge fan of it but they enjoyed it quite a bit. Definitely a "adventurous" dish to try! Chinese watercress with garlic is my go to vegetable dish that they made well here. I enjoy the crunch of the vegetables and when mixed with the sauteed garlic, it really brings out a smile in me. I was pleasantly surprised by the roast beef (spicy) rolled with the scallion pancake. It had a lot of flavor and wasn't dry at all (something I found at the Boston location). The spiciness definitely added to the dish and I really enjoyed this. Soup dumplings I find were fantastic. The soup and pork filling was delicious and the skin isn't ridiculously thick. Comparable to Taiwan Cafe. I would definitely order this every time! The beef noodle soup is another Taiwanese classic and they do it well here. The beef has a lot of flavor and is tender. Not dried out at all (which is a huuuge sin when making this) and contained a very flavorful broth with noodles that were cooked just right. Definitely a thumbs up from me. The pork buns were also delightful. The bun had a nice texture to it and the pork filling had a lot of flavor to it. I was quite surprised as to how much I enjoyed this dish. All in all I thoroughly enjoyed my meal here. All the food listed above came out to ~$70 not including tip which isn't bad at all for 6 people! We were all happy and stuffed so I say a job well done. Wait staff was okay. They cleared out empty dishes when they happened to come by but our waters were left unattended unless we flagged one of them down. This place can be packed during the lunch and dinner rush so I won't fault them for not being more attentive. You'll have to be assertive if you need something!

Emily C.

Yelp
I've been here twice with my family. Their lunch deal, 3 dishes for $22.95, is a great way to try several of their dishes. Some of the items are better than others. Here's what we have enjoyed: Dry pot beef - Thin-cut slices of beef, potatoes that kind of taste like home fries, and tons of red chili peppers. So flavorful! This is one of the spicier things we have tried here, so have your water and rice handy. Eggplant in Garlic Sauce - The eggplant is soft and melts in your mouth. This dish is also a bit spicy, but less so than the beef. The sauce on the eggplant is salty, but I like this because it pairs well with the rice. Twice Cooked Fish Fillet - I like that this dish has a good ratio of fish to vegetables. Everything was cooked really well. We also ordered the soup dumplings. They were solid - thick dough shell, good pint of soup on the inside, and nice flavor. They were not the best I've had, but they work if you have a craving. Parking in this area is on the street, but we have never had a problem finding a spot when we come for lunch.

Yelp
Food came out so fast and everything was so delicious. They have soju and Taiwanese dishes I have never seen before. Can't wait to try more.

Yelp
Quincy has a surplus of Asian food, so when I saw the average Yelp star ratings for the restaurant, I went in with pretty low expectations in the food. The restaurant was actually pretty busy during lunch time on a Saturday and the food came out to be pretty decent! I came with a friend and we split 1 order of soup dumplings, the scallion pancake wrapped in beef and the beef flat noodle dish. The soup dumplings were just okay here; it was probably my least favorite out of the 3 dishes ordered. The scallion pancake with beef was flavorful and crispy. Although it had a lot of cilantro in it, so if you're not a fan of cilantro, you might have to pick it out. I personally love it so this dish was perfect for me. The flat noodles were good; they were flavorful and decent sized. The price here is decent considering the size of the plates. We were stuffed and ended up taking one whole meal to go.

Yelp
I usually only come here when I don't know really know what else to eat in Quincy. The service here isn't the best, which I get for the low ratings. They are not the most friendliest people. However, the food here makes up for it. I usually get the stir fried rice cake with preserved veggies and shredded pork here. Definitely give the roast beef with scallion rolls in scallion pancake a try though. It is one of my favorite appetizers here! Usually the only thing I look forward to eating whenever I come here. The restaurant itself is pretty crowded and small. It does get loud during busy hours as well. Do give this place a try if you're ever around the Quincy area!

Yelp
I love the food here and it's one of my go to spots in Quincy as well as for Asian food, in general. I find the portion sizes to be smaller than your average Asian family-style place but it's also the perfect amount. Every dish is so well made with the perfect amount of flavor. I've brought friends and coworkers here and have gotten them hooked on some of my must-try's here, like sweet corn with salty egg yoke, twice cooked fish filet, and deep fried diced chicken. I've never had anything like the corn before and I have never seen it offered anywhere else either. Other dishes that I normally order include salty fish fried rice, minced beef with cilantro soup, sauteed spinach with minced garlic, shredded pork bamboo shoots with dry bean curd, and dry cook string beans with minced pork - all so so yummy too! No doubt the food here is amazing but I knocked off a star for the very long wait times (it's always busy... but I guess that's a good thing?) and nearly claustrophobic seating. Service can be 50/50 depending on who serves you but, generally, they just want you to be quick about your order, eat, and get out. Fortunately, food comes out pretty quickly after you order!
