I have to admit, walking into a restaurant and being the only non-Asian can be a little daunting, especially when said white girl has very little knowledge of Asian cuisine. As nervous as I was upon entry, that feeling of fear quickly passed when we were warmly greeted by co-owner Miss Bo. She made it known and felt that we were in for a treat in her lovely restaurant. I instantly felt transported to a small New York deli (the red and white checkered tablecloths) in Chinatown. Even finding this spot tucked slightly behind the bustling streets of Las Vegas' Chinatown got me excited for a culinary adventure! Note: we chose to visit after 'the Food Mayor of Las Vegas' Las Vegas Fil said it was a testament to the food and owners that they were the best Taiwanese spot in Vegas for over 20 years! After being seated and perusing the menu, Michelle, the friendly/attentive/somewhat silly waitress helped us to start choosing items to make sure our meal was varied and would suit our American tastebuds. We chose a few items, and as we ate a bit, more options were given to keep the fun going. Everything, and I mean everything, was absolutely lovely. What fantasticly fresh food. Hot and spicy, cold and juicy, all kinds of flavors and creations. I will list those items and prices below. The best way I can describe my experience was best summed up by my husband who stated "it was like going to Grandma's home for a meal." I couldn't agree more. Everyone made us feel so comfy cozy and just like family! ❤️ Basil Shaken Chicken $11 Pork & Napa Dumplings $17 Diakon Cake $8 Beef Roll $13 with pickles (Taiwanese kimchi - incredible mixture similar to Kimchi that was absolutely out of this world! Both sweet and sour!) Steam pork bun (same filling as dumplings) $3.25 Red Bean bun $3.25

This is a warm and loving restaurant that feels like home. I first came here four years ago and was immediately impressed by how delicious everything was. The food is carefully handmade with fresh ingredients, and the flavors are so authentic — truly reminiscent of Taiwanese and Fujian home-style cooking. Over time, this place has become my go-to spot for both breakfast and lunch — almost like my own little cafeteria. One time, I accidentally left my jacket on the chair after eating. I called them, and they had already taken great care to keep it safe for me. When I went back to pick it up, I hadn’t even finished my sentence before they warmly handed it back to me. This is more than just a restaurant — it’s a place filled with love, care, and real human connection. I genuinely love it here.

Google
Traditional & authentic Taiwanese & Chinese breakfast place! They open early from 7am and onwards. Service has improved quite a lot. We ordered a lot for 2 ppl and ended up taking things back to eat later… The restaurant will add 15% tips automatically to the final bill so you don’t need to tip again. The senior lady who served our table was very good!

Google
This is a family-run hole-in-the-wall with zero decor—just a few large tables scattered across a dimly lit dining room that carries that distinct old-diner smell. Most customers are elderly regulars. They sell frozen dumplings and wontons, and the drinks are all pre-made and stored in a fridge. The portions are huge—that's the biggest plus. The other advantage is that the food comes out fast. Beyond that, there's not much to praise. One visit was enough; I wouldn't go back. Feels way overhyped.

Google
Visited today for breakfast. We stood at the door for awhile until we were noticed and seated. The food was not great. Popcorn chichen comes in little tiny pieces not a lot of chicken. Because they are tiny, the chicken is overcooked and dry. The dumpling skin is very thick, making the part that seal together undercooked. Ordered a few dishes for dine-in, then ordered 2 more dishes to go. Was given a bill for the whole thing and charged 15% service charge, even on takeout. Had to ask for separate bill to have the charge removed.

I was really excited about finding a Taiwanese place in Vegas, but was disappointed with the poor decor, food quality and overpriced menu. While they tasted ok, it lacked flavor.

Google
Nice family owned Taiwanese restaurant. The service was fast and friendly. We got the Beef Rolls, Radish Cakes, and Basil Shaken Chicken. All were good and the prices were fair. The chicken was not as crispy as anticipated.

Google
Authentic Taiwanese breakfast. Fast service. A bit pricey but still reasonable. Got oyster omelets, stinky tofu, salty soy milk and chive pockets. I didn't speak any Mandarin and the waitress didn't say much in English but the menu had English and Mandarin so it was easy enough to point. An automatic 18% gratuity was added.

Yelp
We had an excellent experience here! Our server was so kind and patient, leading us through the menu suggesting some really great dishes. The owner came to our table to chat and share stories of how her restaurant journey began. The food was delicious and we were made to feel so welcomed and taken care of. You need to eat breakfast here!

Yelp
Taiwan Deli] Taiwanese breakfast and street food spot with 2 locations in Las Vegas. This one was the Spring Mountain location. They open very early with a mom&pops shop vibe. Lots of authentic Taiwanese classics. Service was insanely fast. Ordered a lot of the classics: soy milk, oyster omelet, turnip cake, rice roll, wonton soup, beef noodle soup. Everything was so good and the food was cheap. Returned me back to my childhood. Overall, 10/10. https://taiwandeli.com 4300 Spring Mountain Rd #116 Las Vegas, NV 89102

Yelp
Honestly, if it was just based off of service, I would give 5 stars! All the aunties and uncles were so friendly and really made sure to take care of us. They were so attentive and made sure we had everything we wanted, even constantly making sure our waters were full. And the food itself was really good too! We got Soy milk - I'm not the biggest fan of soy milk, but my friends liked this dish a lot. It came in a huge bowl that stayed warm for so long. I do like that you can customize your own sweetness level though! Taiwan sausage - Like lap cheong, but a little sweeter, this was really good. But it does get pretty greasy pretty quickly. I was surprised by how big the serving was though. Preserved egg lean pork porridge - this bowl of porridge was so warm and comforting. But it felt like a lot of the preserved egg yolk was the egg white part instead of the yolk part, which I wanted more of. Chinese donut - Really crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, no complaints here! It wasn't too greasy either! Yi mei rice roll w/ mustard green - such a nostalgic dish for me! Although I wish it was bigger because it was so good, the ratio of filling to rice was perfect. Hot & spicy wonton - this dish was really good too, but also didn't really stand out to me. Original beef noodle - another hearty dish, perfect for when you want something hot and soupy. It did still have a little spice to it which I enjoyed. The noodles were cooked perfectly and I really liked their texture. They had a good mix of tender and chewier pieces of meat too.

Yelp
Did family style breakfast: - Dan bing: 5/5 - super eggy and "Q" dough - Radish cake: 4/5 - really crispy on the outside but could be less mushy on the inside - Fan tuan: 4/5 - flavor was good but you tiao was cold and soggy - Oyster pancake: 3/5 - too thick and rough to chew - Hot soy milk: 5/5 - nothing more to say

Yelp
I always enjoy a Taiwanese Breakfast and this place was pretty solid. I love Taiwanese Sausage, but this one was a little too oily for my preference. I got to try the Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup and that one was pretty good too! Flavorful broth and the noodles had just the right amount of bounciness. The spicy wontons were delicious as well. I tried the soy milk, but I would need to add sugar since I like it sweet. The aunties and uncles were all super friendly with us and so sweet. Bring cash to avoid a credit card fee. Plenty of parking too!

Yelp
Yummy and affordable comfort food. Perfect meal on our way home from Vegas. My favorite was the oyster omelette. The beef rolls were surprisingly tender and moist. Service was efficient. Restaurant was clean. Will come back whenever I'm in town to get my Taiwanese food fix.

Yelp
My go to Taiwanese food in Vegas. Perfect comfort food after a night out. Waiters spoke in Taiwanese and the shop is giving mom and pop vibes.

Yelp
**3.5.** We had some time before our flight and decided to get a quick breakfast. Who knew they had this little gem nearby, in the heart of Chinatown. We were immediately seated in the back booth. The place was almost full. My Mandarin wasn't the greatest but managed to order food. The server also spoke Canto so that helped. As always, ordered too much food. Salty rice roll, hot soybean milk (sugar at the table), 1 Chinese donut (wasn't too gigantic like other places), egg pancake (had an option add pork or beef), daikon cake, leek pie, Taiwanese sausage, wintermelon drink. Food came out pretty consistently. The rice rolls was not too big, enough to share with 2 others since we were sharing family style. It was good but nothing that wowed me. Egg pancake was thin and not too greasy. Egg was fluffy inside. Soy bean milk was good. Wasn't the best but a warm drink for breakfast. Just added a tablespoon of sugar was enough. Chinese donut was crispy, a tad bit oily. The chew was crispy but nothing like in Asia. The sausage was really tasty but I was too full to eat more than a slice. Leek pies didn't have much flavor. Needed some umph. Pie pastry was nice and tender. The ladies were nice and made sure we were good. They have frozen dumplings in the ice fridge, not sure if there for sale or not.

Yelp
I'm not sure why this main chain has lower reviews than their sister chain. We first went to their sister chain and had a horrible experience there. I ordered a cold soy milk which went sour and when they gave me a second one, it was still sour. Found out today that they bring their food from this place to the sister chain so maybe that's why the food here is so much better. The egg pancake with dry pork and tea eggs were my favorite. They were both so flavorful and kids definitely liked eating these. The porridge with century egg was okay for me. The beef noodle soup was also good, 4/5. Overall, the Taiwanese breakfast here is good.

Yelp
I always wanted to try an authentic traditional Chinese breakfast, perhaps I really need to travel to China to compare because this wasn't good to me at all. The customer service was non-existent. You pretty much have to advocate for yourself with seating, ordering, and obtaining your bill. I saw people literally standing in front of the register signaling to the staff they were ready so I mirrored that. The food was bland. No flavoring at all. I chose the traditional tendon and beef noodle soup and not even the broth was flavorful. The chinese donuts were very oily no taste at all. The plum juice was not what I was expecting. Instead of sweet it was quite Smokey, bitter, and thick. It didn't pair well with my choice of breakfast items at all. All I can say is, I experienced something new , which is always a fun thing to do however, this is just not for me.

Yelp
I thought the place was pretty good, authentic and fast. Service was decent also (many aunties) but need to ask for water. Preserves egg and pork porridge 皮蛋瘦肉粥was sooo good!! Flavorful and super thick. Was very filling. Topped with the seaweed 海带丝 and homemade chili oil chefs kiss You tiao 油条 Chinese donut need to be dipped into the soy milk. If eating alone, ofc it doesn't have much taste. 卤肉饭 was different, instead of chunks of meat, it was 肉燥like bolognese textured meat. I thought it wasn't very cheap either, considering the environment and the casual cooking.

Yelp

Yelp
Super busy place! You know it's good when they have buses drop off their chinese people before making the trip back to LA. The whole restaurant was mostly Asian. So now for the food part! I chose to do take out because they were packed! Also they charge 15% tip and 3% for credit card use. Food is good, very authentic and everything reminded me of home tastes. I got salted soybean soup, rice rolls and 3 pork and veggie buns. So good, so hungry, sorry no photos!

Yelp
This family-owned restaurant is located in a plaza within Chinatown of Las Vegas. The owner is a woman who's been running it her entire life, after it was passed down by her father. She was swinging by to chat with all the customers which was sweet. We had come just before they closed but they were very kind to serve us anyways. We ordered a variety of items from noodles to beef rolls to soy milk and Chinese donuts. The food came out very quickly and was very yummy. I will note some of the items such as the noodles were on the pricier side. The beef rolls were also a little smaller than we expected although they looked packed in the photos.

Yelp
Everyone was so nice and explained the menu. They made sure we were happy with the food. Then, they beamed with pride when we said we liked it!

Yelp
Craving a traditional Taiwanese breakfast and this place hit the spot with the hot soy milk and Chinese donut. It's so simple but nostalgic and satisfying. Oyster pancake was decent enough too. Service? Kind of iffy... they accidentally sent our entire order to another table so we had to reorder... and they got one of the orders wrong again. The ladies are polite and tried to fix things but maybe English isn't the best way of communicating with them even if they seem to use it ok.
google avatar

Yelp
Was looking form some Chinese breakfast and stumbled to this spot. This place is very busy and had a long line on Sunday around 10 in the morning. Ordered to go and the only good items were the rice roll and the bao. The soy milk was very hot and burnt. I tasted the burnt flavor and there were chunks of burned soy milk. The scallion pancake was not good. It was very chewy, hard, and didn't taste fresh. The rice roll was good and has good pickled vegetables in it. The bao was steaming hot which was great.

Yelp
Taiwan Deli is absolutely delicious, and if you're lucky enough to have Michelle as your server, your experience will be taken to a whole new level! Michelle isn't just a server--she's the MVP of dining experiences. From the moment we sat down, she treated us like family. Michelle is funny, attentive, and so incredibly charming that we were ready to nominate her for Server of the Year by the time we finished our meal. Our cups were never empty, our plates were perfectly timed, and she gave great recommendations. I'm not joking when I say I'll call ahead next time to make sure Michelle is working because she MADE our visit the best! *5 Stars for Michelle* The Taiwanese Pickled Cabbage was tangy perfection, the basil chicken was crispy and seasoned just right, and everything else we ordered was equally delicious. My brother ordered two plates of Taiwanese sausage and earned the funny nickname "Sausage Man" from Michelle! The dumplings were juicy, and the rice/peanut drink was a refreshing treat. Every bite was a delight! The restaurant has a fun and cozy feel to it. The round tables with picnic-style cloths, the cool Taiwanese artifacts, and the TV in the background gave the place an authentic and welcoming feel. Even though the restaurant was busy (because everyone knows how good it is!), we didn't wait long at all. If you love amazing food, a fun atmosphere, and next-level service, Taiwan Deli is where you need to be. And if Michelle is working- You're in for an awesome experience.

Yelp
A very good spot for Taiwanese food for a decent price. It does tend to get crowded after 8-830am so we usually try to go early to beat the crowds. Their service is very straight to the point and they came to take our order very quickly. All the food came out relatively quickly and was full of flavor. They're very generous with their portions and with amount of meat that they give. The dumplings were packed with filling/meat and the oyster omelet had lots of oyster in it. The Chinese donut was the only item that was not as exciting because it was a little cold and more soft than crispy.
google avatar

Yelp
Stopped by this Taiwanese deli around 9:30 AM on a Saturday, and the place was packed with locals--always a good sign, especially since the location isn't super obvious. We decided to get take out since there wasn't much seating available and there's an additional 15% gratuity if you dine in. Tried the radish cake with egg, and while I wish it had been a little crispier, the flavors were on point. It also came with a special sauce that was absolutely killer--wish we knew what it was! The pork and leek dumplings were just okay. They arrived hot, but the skin was a bit too thick for my liking. One downside was the service, which felt a little lacking. Hard to say if it was just a busy morning or something else, but it definitely didn't feel the most welcoming.

Yelp
I'm always surprised when there's a Taiwanese breakfast place in the places where I visit, and so I had to try this place out. We came at around 9am on a weekday for a party of 3 and the place was already bustling. We waited around 15 minutes before being seated, so I recommend coming earlier as at 10am, there was a huge line out the door. - Salted Bean Curd with Peanuts - I've only had salted soybean milk before, so I was excited to try this version as I love bean curd/tofu. This turned out to be the best dish of the meal as the tofu was extremely soft and I loved all the salty ingredients, which gave the dish so much flavor and texture complexity. I would highly recommend it! - Yi Mei Rice Rolls with Mustard Greens - Eating this rice roll was so much nostalgia for me! I loved how much mustard greens they put into the roll, which paired well with the pork floss. - Egg Pancake - I love the sweetness of the eggs that never come out when I make this dish at home. The pancakes were on the softer side, but paired with the soy sauce and chili oil, it was perfection. - Spicy Beef Noodle Soup - This beef noodle soup was okay. The soup was quite spicy and the beef was not super tender. I would recommend getting the breakfast items instead of this one. Overall, absolutely fantastic Taiwanese breakfast place! Reminder to bring cash as it is 3% off if you use that instead of a credit card.

Yelp
Great customer service. Good food. The aunty was so kind. And they had really beautiful atmosphere and designs!!

Yelp
The reason for the great review is because Michelle had great hospitality and helped us choose items that we liked. I went with my sister and Michelle helped us order excellent dishes like the Egg pancake, lobo gao, meatball soup, cucumbers, and green onion pancake. Everything was pretty authentic. It's our go to in vegas for taiwanese breakfast. Michelle made the visit even more special!

Yelp
What a joke! LOL They charge a BOX FEE of 5% Meaning YOU NEED TO PAY FOR THE STYROFOAM BOX the food comes in along with any other materials they use to pack the food. Times must be hard for this establishment. We always come here and dine in, we will not come back again. Not only did they raise their prices (which is fine) but now they have the customers paying for an expense that business owners are responsible for. They actually charged us for 1 styrofoam box and we ordered 7 rice rolls that came in aluminum paper. Portions are smaller and the food quality isn't the same. Support other local businesses than this one because they clearly are money pinchers. Who knows what shortcuts they are taking with the food in the back. Tables are always oily and eating utensils are always filthy. Pancakes are bland and soggy.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is a very casual breakfast joint! The inside has a nice older style feel to it? I'm not sure how to describe but it felt cozy to me. Service - There's an obvious language barrier but they did their best and just pointing to what you want on the menu helps! They were nice and helpful. Food - I think Tea Eggs are so underrated and these were the best ones I've ever had! So flavorful and fragrant. It has inspired me to try making it at home myself!! Plus, the marbling you can get with them is so pretty. Vegetable roll was average! Since there's nothing but veggie floss and the chinese donut, it's extremely dry. You'll have to eat it with some sauce or ask if their pickled veg is actually vegetarian friendly and add it in. I originally thought it would already be in the veggie roll but it wasn't. Overall, I think this is a decent breakfast spot if you don't want to keep eating American breakfast options.

Yelp
Ive been to Taiwan multiple times and this food is not authentic or a good representation of Taiwanese food unfortunately. I think if you have never been to Taiwan before it's still cool to give this place a try. The stinky tofu was legit good here. Rice rolls came with very little filling, sweet tofu was not the right texture, and soy milk was average. Meat ball was small for the price. Very pricey plus the included tax and tip
google avatar

Amy P.

Yelp
The place is loved within Vegas Chinatown and inside a shopping strip. We went for late breakfast. There were ton of people waiting to be seated. The place was filled was all Asians, mostly Chinese so we knew the place was legit. We waited about 10-15 minutes. We ordered porridge, beef noodle soup, taro cake, ground pork with rice, stinky tofu, beef rolls and rice rolls with shredded pork. Everything was decent but I really enjoyed the beef noodle soup. The stinky tofu didn't taste the way I thought it would taste. It was sweeter and not very fermented than what I'm used to. The place is a great spot for authentic Taiwanese breakfast but not sure how non-Chinese speaking person would do well ordering here. The person who put us on waitlist spoke English well but all the "aunties" who took food orders spoke Chinese.
google avatar

Kal S.

Yelp
Nondescript hole in the wall joint that had typical Taiwanese breakfast menu items. Decent sized dining room and can fit relatively big party. Also offered frozen dumplings for purchase to cook at home yourself. Thankfully the servers spoke English as we were overwhelmed with the menu. Food was good but since we were not experts on Taiwanese food we could't say if it was legit or not. Warm soy milk could use some sweetness but maybe we didn't order it correctly. Ordered spicy beef noodle soup, Chinese fried crullers, and dumpling soup.

Yelp
I was really excited to finally get some Taiwanese food in the states, but I'm sorry to say it did not the spot. I got the preserved century egg porridge with minced pork. I should have known when it was first placed on the table that it is NOT the classic dish. It came very brown and dark colored. It's because they put the minced pork from ruroufan into the porridge. It make it very strong five spice flavor in the porridge. The egg pancake was salty and came wirh an oyster sauce base sauce. I'm not used to getting that when I'm in Taiwan. Overall pretty disappointed. I was hoping for some good light comfort food, but leaving nauseous and unsettled.
google avatar

Camie K.

Yelp
Overall I'd give it a 3.5 for speedy and efficient service. The food was OK so don't expect it to be the best thing ever. And do Bring cash. I was pretty excited to find that there is a Taiwanese place in Las Vegas. Apparently they have been around for 20 years! I found myself breaking the fast on a quiet Friday morning after rolling in around 9 o'clock. Luckily, the restaurant was not full. The wait staff immediately spoke Mandarin to me and asked me to pick any seat to sit down. During my time there, I hardly heard any English spoken except for a poor Korean gentleman who was trying to figure out what to order to go at the counter and certainly did not know how to read the Chinese menu. The menus were already on the table, along with the utensils. It Definitely looked impressive with the array and range, but I was there for my first meal of the day. I chose the rice milk served hot along with a plate of egg pancake and their signature rice roll. The rice milk was very nostalgic with hints of roasted peanuts and lightly sweetened. But The egg pancake was kind of disappointing for it was bland and flavorless. Luckily it came with the garlic sweetened soy sauce that had saved it. The rice roll was packed with Chinese fried doughnut, pork floss, and pickled mustard greens. It was made to order and came out hot, which warmed my belly. One of the servers was very friendly with me while the rest barely spoke a word to me. With the check arrived He was quick to point out that 15% gratuity was already included so I did not need to pay extra for tip. And since I was paying cash, I did not have to deal with a 3% extra fee. I walked out this restaurant with my belly, full and satiated. I do plan on coming back in the future since there aren't that many Taiwanese options in the area.
google avatar

Yelp
If you're looking for a variety of Taiwanese dishes, this is the place to come. There's a lot of options to choose from. The rice rolls and preserved vegetable and pork noodle soup impressed with their flavors and textures, while the crispy popcorn chicken was a delight. However, please not that the prices are a little higher than expected and there is a mandatory gratuity charge regardless of party size, and a credit card fee. Also when we went, there was only one person working, so it took a while to have our order taken. So please be mindful that you'll have to be patient when you visit this restaurant during busier times!

Yelp
We really wanted to like this place but unfortunately the food taste was off. Everything was either bland or didn't have the right sauce to go with the dish.

Yelp
Authentic and delicious Taiwanese food located in Las Vegas Chinatown! My mother and I really enjoyed eating breakfast/brunch here after landing in Las Vegas. You know it's pretty authentic if you're seeing other Taiwanese people eating here craving for a taste of the motherland. Here's what we got: Stinky tofu Oyster omelette Fan tuan (rice rolls), one with mustard greens They all tasted great, and were as good as back in Taiwan. I'm always thrilled to find authentic Taiwanese spots overseas, and am happy to support being here.

Yelp
This review is only for Taiwanese breakfast. Pretty legit and authentic in flavor. I like its soy milk so much with a bit of soy bean burning flavor which is hard to find at most other restaurants, even in Taiwan. My husband said savory soy milk has very traditional flavor too. The wrap of egg pancake was soft style, not the thick one. The best part of the pancake was dipping sauce which is just the same you'd have in Taiwan. We saw many tables ordered fried rice noodles so we added this to our breakfast feast. It looked a little strange to have braised pork and egg on top, but the taste turned out fine though not too impressed. The service is great and quick. I strongly recommend you if you'd like to try Taiwanese breakfast.

Yelp
I came here for brunch on a Saturday and it was so good. The staff was so kind and warm, it felt like visiting a relative's house. The food was delicious and so authentic! Definitely recommend!

Yelp
I stopped by with the bffs to celebrate a birthday lunchy lunch. Located in a strip mall in Chinatown, I've passed by Taiwan Deli for years and never stopped by. The dining area was definitely a divey mom and pop Asian style resto. Chairs and tables were a little cramped but the restaurant was clean. Our server's English was broken but we were able to get our orders in with no issues. She was super sweet and checked on us through the meal. Here's the plates with the item #s that we tried. 93 Spicy beef Noodle - Savory broth and spicy flavor that was yum and not overhwleming. 68 hot & spicy wonton - My favorite dish. I ordered one for myself because i was hungry and greedy lol 19 Green Onion Pancake w egg - Great side dish for me. 63 pig ear with tofuin Chili Sauce - My first time and I'd do it again. Overall I had a great experience. I'd return for the spicy wontons alone but I'm ready to try other dishes on the next visit. Cheers!

The food is terrible! We came for breakfast a while back and decided to come back for lunch today. The service was absolutely chaotic and the food was almost inedible. The soy milk was burnt. The server told us that it is supposed to be burnt. I am like...really? We waited for our food patiently and finally the potstickers arrived. It was raw in the middle! Not only that, half of the dumplings were a different filling than what we ordered! Don't bother with this place. There are too many other options.

Yelp
A little oily than I would like. They speak both mandarin and Cantonese so that's good.

Yelp
This review gets 4 stars for existing and for their menu. They get 2 stars for service. So that averages to 3 stars. I'll give it a solid 3.5 stars because I want this sort of restaurant to exist and continue. Definitely come here! It is so hard to find seriously good Taiwanese breakfasts. Taiwan deli definitely had an authentic menu. This is the sort of food people from Taiwan crave for when they have been away from the island for long periods of time. I'm not from Taiwan but my family is and through them, I have come to enjoy such delicious and comforting treats! (Being a second language Mandarin learner, I know pin yin better than characters so forgive me for using the Chinese system on a review for Taiwanese food). We ordered Egg cake with Chinese donut (Dan Bing Jia You Tiao), Salted soybean milk with peanuts (Xian Dou Jiang), Chinese donut baked sandwich (Shao Bing Jia You Tiao) for the three of us. Everything was authentic and decently made. I do wish the soybean milk came in a larger bowl. In comparison to other Taiwanese restaurants, these were small bowls. But, my egg cake/Chinese donut was a generously eye opening and lip smacking solidly good size. And it was the best thing we ordered, in my opinion. Everything was great until the service went down hill. We wanted to order more. We asked for help 5 times and every single time we were left with "someone will be right back to help you". We had to ask FIVE times. We couldn't even get our bill. It was ridiculous. The bad service ruined the experience for me. Terrible! But, I'm Chinese and unfortunately, Chinese restaurants are known for bad service (why must it be this way). The running joke is if there is bad service and bad bathrooms, the food is really good because that is where the focus is. I didn't go in the bathroom, but based on service, this makes the food good here! Haha! I'd come here again but put on my armor of "bad service" on next time. Service was annoying. They wouldn't pay attention to us when we wanted to order more. With M&D Nostalgic

Yelp
We ate here two breakfasts in a row! Service is a bit hit or miss based on the server that you get but the food consistently hit the spot. Great value too! We have not had Taiwanese breakfast in a while and the below were our favorites here: Hot soy milk Chinese donut Salty Rice Roll Egg pancake Beef noodle soup

Yelp
As authentic as it gets for not being in Taiwan. I ordered three dishes: stinky tofu, oyster omelet and beef tendon noodles. If you never had them before, it may take some getting used to but if you had them before, it's right in the money. If I hade more room, I'd order more but these three produced the just right flavors. Will be back another time, possibly even breakfast hour to try their extensive morning menu.

Yelp
food radish cake: 10/10 * crispy on the outside, super soft and flavorful on the inside (always recommend!) also texture reminds me of fish stir fried noodle w egg: 8/10 *s rainbow location tastes better for whatever reason* * huge portion and outstanding flavor from the minced meat. marinated boiled egg adds a nice touch steamed pork w/ vegetable bun: 8/10 * heavy on the filling and soft/chewy service mid. being able to speak chinese may be more forgiving but they do not particularly pay attention to you if you don't. i had to ask for water thrice?? fast and casual if you're on a time crunch ambiance homey for sure. cramped for the most part ALSO: tip is included in the bill -- which should be mentioned prior

Yelp
I'm ordered the egg cake with a Chinese donut (蛋饼加油条)+ soybean milk (冰豆浆), and found the egg shells in my egg cake (蛋饼). Very disappointed!

Yelp
Excellent authentic Taiwanese food! Don't even question it. I've dined in and got it to-go, all tastes good!

Yelp
We were planning a light breakfast but ended up ordering more than planned because they literally had everything Taiwanese that I remembered growing up. We started with soy milk and the "sau-bing-yo-tau" to dip, followed by daikon pancakes, green onion pancake with egg, oyster omelette (oh-ah-gen - my dad's favorite, will have to bring him here!), and stinky tofu (must try - so good). The service was excellent - felt really homey and welcoming. We spoke Mandarin and Taiwanese to them and they laughed at my fumbling Taiwanese ordering but were really nice overall. As we were leaving I s aw that they were selling a lot of frozen Taiwanese dumplings, sausages, and sticky rice bamboo wraps so we ended up getting some bamboo rice wraps for lunch for the week. Would have gotten the sticky rice "fan-tuan" to go too but we were already too stuffed! Will definitely be back!

Yelp
I really really wanted to support this Taiwanese mom pop shop, and find something good here. We've been to both locations before. There's just always something off. I'm really picky with certain dishes so I usually try to off set that with slack, especially for mom pop shops. They are hand making things. Just they can't cook!!! Maybe they just need to become a B2B business instead...making food for other restaurants to buy and cook for customers? There aren't any other true Taiwanese places in Vegas (and not much in LA), so I usually keep my expectations ridiculously low or just expect it to be fusion Taiwanese food. But I expect the food to be at least decent quality or servings. Fyi, best to use CASH. 3% fee for using credit card. Strict close/no food served even 5min before their 2pm in between break. Service: Don't expect any. It does remind me of a Taiwanese Deli, just an extremely large version. If they just had 2-4 small tables, maybe the place would be more manageable for the 1-2 staff owners on the floor. It's a place that waving hand might not do. Just get up and try and order from the staff, or ask for the check. This is a very casual run down Asian establishment. Expecting too much western etiquette is just ignorance. We just came back from almost 2 months of living in Taiwan, so our taste buds to more has been recalibrated. Example of off: When something is off, you can hide it and guess maybe it's just fusion if it's still tasty, or decent quality. It's not the case for this place. This visit was for the purpose to determine if I should just buy frozen handmade dumplings from here vs transport it each time from LA. I also was determined a second time to find out this places' hidden specials. I avoid typical items reviewed on Yelp to not order. I avoided beef noodle soup cause it might not be warmed up enough, to breakfast normals even though this place seemed best as a breakfast joint. Works for me as I can't handle that much carbs in one day. #63. Pig ear, tofu in chili sauce cold dish appetizers $7.99. - Taste decent but saltier than expected. The meat gelatin was showing with the cilantro wet in it. Something served at home as leftovers but not served on this condition in restaurants. See what I mean by off? #8. Egg cake with Chinese donut $9.99 - Better than expected for the egg and wrap part. The wrap was thin and tasted like Taiwan. It can't be as thin or soft fresh but it was decent. The Chinese donut was soggy, and difficult to chew in that form. See what I mean by off? - If we had to come back or crave a Taiwanese egg pancake/wrap, I would order just the egg version (no Chinese donut). #120. Mushroom with pork bun $2.99. The meat ball was drier and more dense than expected. It looked homemade but it's a no for us. #111. Pork with Napa Dumpling $11.99 - Decent for restaurant dumplings. It's simple. Feels lighter in taste than many Chinese versions because it's Tawianese. And the wrapping is done well. It looks like what they say...like the ball shape of the oyster. I can see why people would buy their frozen dumplings. So would I buy it? - Our dumplings came with 1/4 already kinda poked or accidentally broken. Meaning they didn't pay attention to boiling or steaming it. And what I mean by off?? - For people who go through a lot of dumplings, yes I'd say you can buy to try it. I do eat a lot of home dumplings but I'm only 1 person. Those packs are pretty large. So I'm sticking to my LA place. If this place wasn't as run down, I wouldn't question if the quality is fresh. Our last time visiting: Notes was playing nice, and giving them the benefit of the doubt. Was just excited to find Tawianese restaurants in Vegas. # 25. Shanghai Rice wrapped with pork $4.50 - aka Zhong Zhi was decent. Rice was soft, and decent amount of goodies inside it. #22. Oyster Omelet $9.99 - small oysters. A little fishy but nothing abnormal. This is a difficult dish to find but pretty on point compare to places in LA SGV/626 to! # 44. Squid Fishbowl Noodle Soup $12.99. - Came extremely hot. And in thicker than expected noodles. We are use to the hair thin noodles. This dish was better than expected. The soup was comforting. Big bowl! -- Overall, this is the reason why my significant other and I just gave up on eating Taiwanese food in American haha We're at an age to avoid carbs, so hitting up Tawianese places with just one specialized dish (beef noodle soup) is not our thing. It has to be really good for us to go. None so far. We've become less adventurous in Taiwanese food searching... we're jaded. Again, we ain't looking for perfect or anything close to that. I'm very generous to most Tawianese to American Taiwanese places. It's just best to save up for the next couple years, and eat it in Taiwan lol

Yelp
Authentic Taiwanese Breakfast. True to its taste. It can be pricey but you are paying for the one of the few remaining authentic Taiwanese taste. Egg pancake is one of my favorite item there. As well as turnip cake. I did not try their regular lunch menu item but I assume it should hold the same standard. The food itself is worth 5 stars. Forget about the ambience and service.

Yelp
Went there with my brother and his wife last week for breakfast and it was a big disappointment. The place wasn't busy , but the service was slow and sub-par. The food was nothing to write home about. Chinese donut was chewy, and soy milk was luckwarm. Egg pancake was okay. I was hoping that this would be my family's go to place for Taiwanese breakfast, but unfortunately we have to look for another place now after the visit.

Yelp
0 Star, this place is over priced. The food was bad!! The Chinese donut is small and taste like rubber, they over fried. Tofu pudding, the menu said comes with peanut, but it is not. Nothing on it. So I asked the server, she said they mixed the peanut with the soy tofu???? (Which I don't think so). The beef roll is steamed not pan fried. Only 3 small beef rolls and come with pickles on the side, it charged me $11.99 for it! No water when you sit down, and charge you 3% if you paying with card and mandatory 15% service fee on each check! Please stay away this restaurant.
