The 38 Best Restaurants in Tel Aviv | Eater

"Local star chef Yuval Ben Neriah surprises with a seafood-driven small-plate journey through Southeast Asia at this award-winning “Asiaterranean” restaurant. If nothing else, sit at the bar to try its creative cocktails, alongside pastry chef Ana Shapiro’s latest desserts, which nimbly combine sweet and savory: fresh fruit flavors with curry, exotic spices, and saffron discs. Meanwhile a classic institution TLV's culinary scene. I've been back to it after many years of absence (though I live basically next door). Was worth to visit. The atmosphere is chill asian vibe. The menu consists of multiple sections - maybe a few number of dishes too much. I like when there are around 20 dishes not 30+ - but it serves customers that come regularly and do not want to always eat the same. Dishes were delicious and yummy. My friend recommended the 'spoon dish' with is veal sweetbreads in a dumpling - but I found it the least favorable. It's just a very strong taste. The fish carpaccio was quite good and the butterfly sea bream was amazing - even at its cost. The dessert we had was ok Service was good, but not outstanding.

Outstanding restaurant!! Creative and surprising food, great wines. For Israeli standards exceptionally good service. Pricey but totally worth it. Will definitely be back!!

An expensive high quality restaurant. The food and service are great. On Saturdays you can't order from the regular menue, but must order one of the fixed meals, starting from 200 NIS minimum for each person. Every dish that we ordered was tasty.

This is in my opinion the most overpriced and underwhelming restaurant I have been to in Israel. The menu is amateur with repetitions of the same curry powder coconut milk and chilli powder in 4 of the dishes we had. It’s just lame and not creative. The white chocolate (you guessed it) and coconut dessert is seriously disgusting and we had to send it back. Service is ok, not bad or good. The server asked me how much I want to tip him as he held onto the debit machine- this is of course very polite and normal . I enjoy loudly stating the amount of extra money I want to give a server.

Taizu offers an exceptional fine-dining experience with its high-quality, contemporary Southeast Asian cuisine. The menu is built around creative and unique dishes, thoughtfully blending flavors and techniques inspired by the five classical elements. Every plate is meticulously prepared, delivering complex, delicious, and deeply satisfying tastes. The overall experience is elevated by the excellent service, where the staff is knowledgeable and perfectly attentive. While dining at Taizu is not cheap, the superior quality and unique culinary adventure justify the premium price tag.

Great atmosphere, delicious food, friendly and attentive service. I’ve been coming here every few years when visiting Israel, and it’s consistently an excellent experience. Perfect spot for couples or small groups (3–8 people). Our visits usually come out to about 250-350 ₪ per person.

My fiancé and I came to celebrate our engagement and had a fantastic time. The food was as delicious as it was beautiful. Our waitress Yasmeen was one of the best waiters I’ve experienced. I would definitely recommend dining here (and asking for Yasmeen as your waitress!).

Highly recommended, probably one of the best asian restaurants in Tel Aviv. We had the brunch there, the food was delicious and the portion size was just right. The table service was highly professional as well.
