We just had our office holiday celebration party here and everyone loved it! As the planner of the party, I was relieved to find that the venue, decor, staff, service and food far exceeded my expectations! Definitely would love to have another event here!

The food was absolutely amazing ! Cudos to the chef, but the service was not that great. We was seated and the Asian woman that seated us didn’t really give much customer service. When our 2 hours was up she asked could she charge the card on file without giving me my receipt. I don’t even know the price and you’re asking to charge my card. Then my home girl and I signed up through the Eventbrite app and so we should have been labeled as having a reservation which costed $25 per person and would have went to the check but they were having a hard time finding it when we first entered the restaurant. When we was checking out the server said she didn’t have knowledge of the reservation, so I had to go to the host to make sure she could see that we had a reservation. Once she noticed that we had the reservation, the server approached us again asking to charge the card without providing a receipt . At this point I’m thinking something is up because why does she (the Asian server lady) keep trying to charge my card without giving me the receipt. She finally brought the receipt , ofcourse they automatically charged 18% gratuity when I don’t even feel like she even deserved it. She never checked up on us, and her customer service was poor . Despite all that the food was absolutely amazing !

Everything about this place was very nice the drinks was good and the food was delicious I had the Buffalo wings on pizza very tasty just right and my friend had a burger which he said was very good too. We all had a couples of drinks and the prices for Everything was very reasonable. Good service's. Music was jumping and everyone enjoyed themselves. I would come back again 🙂

On a Friday night 5PM to 11PM this is the perfect place to be to let the woes of the week go. The DJ was amazing at keeping the dance floor packed, the drinks were good and not overpowering, the food was well seasoned and filling. Thank you Taj for a great night xoxo

I have been booking Taj for our company Xmas party for several years. We had our event last night. The place was decorated so beautiful. All the servers and staff are excellent. The food was absolutely on point. Large menu to choose from and just delicious. The place is spacious and intimate at the same time. Chris makes everything turn key right down to the DJ! Who was also fabulous. I really can’t say enough good things about Chris or this venue. The employees love it and don’t want to go anywhere else. Even parking after 7 in that area is so doable. Book it and you will love it too

We just had our holiday party at this venue, and it was awesome! Everything from start to finish was spot on. Chris was amazing—he helped us plan the whole thing and made sure it all ran smoothly. The bartenders were super friendly and kept the drinks coming, the food was delicious, and the venue looked stunning. It’s such a great spot for any celebration. Everyone had a fantastic time, and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.

Amazing event space, we had our holiday party for the second year in a row and as always Taj Lounge did not disappoint. Chris & Rose are amazing they made sure me and my team had the time of our lives. The staff that assisted us during the event were very accommodating and helped with everything we needed. I can not brag about this place enough. Literally A+++ experience.

Taj Lounge in Manhattan is an intimate venue well-suited for hosting smaller events or gatherings, especially for those seeking a space with a cozy and stylish atmosphere. This place has a $10 minimum for all credit card purchases and no Apple Pay feature, so be advised to carry at least $40. It costs between $3 and $5 for the coat check and about each drink is about $18. It all varies what event is being hosted because sometimes food and drinks are all included and free with your entry fee. I've visited this spot about three times as part of the New York chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists, and each experience has left a positive impression. I have also visited one of their Caribbean vs Hip Hop nights and attended their senior nights. It is a small place so expect to bum into a lot strangers or having to say "excuse me." However, everything is well controlled. The lounge features a warm, laid-back ambiance with rich Indian-inspired decor that enhances its unique charm. The lighting is soft and inviting, making it ideal for networking events or catching up with friends in a quieter setting. While I didn't get a chance to try the food during my visits (as I was a student journalist at the time, watching my budget), the space itself left me intrigued enough to consider returning for a more relaxed evening or to host an event. I'll likely revisit soon and update my review to include thoughts on the menu. For now, Taj Lounge earns a recommendation for its welcoming ambiance, attentive service, and suitability for intimate gatherings. It's an underrated gem for those seeking a chill yet elegant venue in Manhattan.

Had a great experience here for brunch! Although I was alone, I made a reservation for unlimited mimosas that paired with an appetizer and entrée. I had the French fries to start off (wasn't that crispy) followed by steak & eggs as my entrée. The highlight of my meal was the pitchers of mimosas I received. I'm fond of places that allow you to be interchangeable with the beverage options; I was able to get a pitcher of bellini as well. Hookah, great music, and drinks; can't go wrong with that combination.

My company rented this place out last month for a company party so I'm reviewing based on that. The food was delicious so flavorful! We had crab cakes and spring rolls, chicken bites and more and everything was delicious. The drinks were strong and the bartenders were sweet and kept the drinks coming. The place itself was very cute but small. The upstairs area was pretty small not sure if that's a VIP area when the club is open. The workers were nice and we had a great time!

I came here for the "melanin & mimosas" brunch day party for my friend's birthday. They charge $20 at the door after 5pm. They also have a mandatory $5 coat check, which I thought was foolish. My jacket was part of my outfit, plus I'm anemic and get cold very easily so I was not happy about this. Brunch comes out to $50 per person, since tip is included. The mimosas and Bellinis were bottomless. They only offer orange juice mimosas and some juice that our waitress wasn't sure of for the Bellinis. Both drinks were "premade" and extremely flat. My group of 3 had about 6 carafes and left completely SOBER. We were just drinking juice. My friend came from out of town and described the entire experience as a $75 chic-fil-a and juice (except the sandwich wasn't as tasty as chic-fil-a)! The crowd was interesting to say the least and we would never return to this establishment.

I came here for my cousin's birthday for brunch. The lounge was really nice and big inside. We sat right by the DJ in a booth. We ordered bottomless mimosas and 2 hookahs for the table. For my meal, I ordered steak and eggs. The food was mid. It definitely wasn't the best steak and eggs I've ever had. The DJ played really good music and my whole party was dancing. We were taking pictures. I really liked the vibes. I had so much fun! I just wish the food was better.

Came for my sorority's fundraising event and this place is beautiful; limited decorations were needed. We ordered classic margaritas and 2 thumbs up to the bartender who made them! I was mingling when our food arrived so of course forgot to take pictures; however, let me share: -Jerk chicken wings: family said needed either more jerk seasoning or more salt -Chili garlic chicken wings: family said needed more seasoning but just ok -Miso salmon: very delicious, would order again -Fish fritters (my order): would definitely order again but also ask for a little more seasoning, and the dipping sauce was good (don't tell me what's in it just let me enjoy) Perfect spot for a party or to just grab a drink!

I was mentally prepared for Taj after reading the reviews so honestly, they surpassed my expectations - more like 3.5 stars. I went for someone's birthday for their bottomless mimosas event. Something to be aware of is there is a mandatory $5 cash coat check - including sweaters and light jackets. There is also a 15 minute grace period before you are seated. We didn't know this and practically missed our reservation, but staff was great and got us seated as soon as half of our party I was there. They got us set up pretty quick with bottomless mimosas for our party of 8. They were okay, nothing to write home about. I got the chicken and waffles, which again, was a pretty solid dish. Waffles were a bit too soft/cakey for me but that's more of a personal preference. The chicken was nice and crisp. The rest of the table seemed satisfied with their meals. Service, however, was a bit sparse as it was just, and it took a while just to get a cup of water. We stayed long enough to hear 2 DJs play. The first one who played who was pretty good and had a nice mix of Latino, soca, afrobeats and oldies. The vibe shifted after he finished, so we made moves to the next location. Overall, not a terrible experience. Definitely worth considering if you're looking for a moderately hype brunch.

Christopher and his team at Taj Restaurant & Lounge are unmatched for customer service, party planning and value. He is always available for working out details and making suggestions. The team has helped me with multiple company holiday parties through the years for 100 to 270 guests who rave about the environment, food, and music. Open bar, passed hors d'oeuvres, buffet, DJ, photo booth and even the lighting, security and coat check were managed expertly and impeccably under Christopher's watchful eye. When we unexpectedly had additional guests, he worked with me to accommodate. I would recommend this team to anyone.

It is exactly what you expect from a lounge really fun environment with great music. Screaming to the waitress what you want because no one can hear and decent food. Honestly I was really starving when I got here so the burger was absolutely delicious, but if your just regular hungry then you may think differently. The servers are usually really busy so ask for what you need all at once it's gonna be hard to get them back. I had an amazing time it was really fun and the 90s theme brunch was great. SUGGESTIONS They don't allow you to bring coats inside and you have to pay for the coat check so just be aware of that.

This place has been my favorite for years for Salsa Mondays with live band and it is a great community of dancers. Food is also great

I had come here for their R&B Sunday Brunch. The live DJ was probably one of the best brunch DJs I've seen in awhile. He mixed songs well, changed songs based on the vibe of the audience. He was great! As for the food, I had ordered the chicken & waffles which were fantastic. The chicken was very tender and the red velvet waffles were aesthetically pleasing and soft as well. It was a prefix brunch of $45 for an entree and unlimited mimosas (though after the Gratiuitiy they add to the final check, tax, etc. Came out to ~$60pp). We had received a carafe of cranberry mimosas and another of regular OJ mimosas. Both were strong and surely bottomless. We had stayed there for 3hrs just enjoying the pretty space and the music. I plan to come back for another Sunday brunch

I cannot begin to express how impressed I have been with Taj since I booked it for my son's Bar Mitzvah over a year ago. We just had the party this weekend, and I couldn't have been happier!! Chris and his entire team has been nothing but amazing to work with. From the venue to the food, everything was perfect! I couldn't believe how great the place looked when I walked in from the temple service -- everything was set up for me better than I could have imagined! The staff made everything so easy for me -- I didn't have to worry about a thing! We had a few dietary needs, and Chris and the chef made sure each of them were taken care of! I have been getting messages and calls since Saturday night from friends saying how much they loved the food and everything else about Taj!

I had my retirement celebration at Taj this past Friday and thanks to Chris the manager and Courtney our waitress everything was AWESOME thanks to their hospitality and top notch services throughout the night! We All had an awesome time.

We hosted our Wedding after party at Taj, we booked the upstairs Mezzanine and it was the best decision we could have made. From our first reach out up until we arrived we received awesome customer service! The set up was perfect, the food was great, the team on site was great and we had the best time! Our guest loved it! We had a 5 star experience with Taj!

We had a great time at the Taj Lounge. All your staff were great, and the venue was great. Chris was very responsive and easy to work with--a special shout out to the manager for the evening, Rose and DJ Kaos. Party was turnt! We had a great time.

Back for another Sunday brunch. Got here at 7:02p for a 7p reservation. And as expected there was a wait. I wasn't mad cause the place was packed. The hostess was asking for grace which I obliged. She seated us at 7:32p the waitress came over at 7:44. But again, considering the place was crowded the wait was expected. The waitress came took our orders and brought us over 4 carafes of Bellinis and Mimosas. Our food came shortly thereafter. The music was everything I expected as the DJ is from Power 105.1 DJ Will. Sunday brunch is a real vibe. The food was very good. The best part was the fries were hot and fresh so I know they were just cooked. I ordered the fish sandwich which was very good. I'm sure I'll be back again.

I had the best time at Taj. We headed there for brunch to celebrate my sister's birthday. Taj's brunch is def where you want to be, especially if celebrating a birthday. The DJs have the music flowing for R&B Sundays and the waitress' make sure the unlimited drinks don't stop. Don't get stuck sitting outside cuz you'll miss the entire vibe. We danced, ate, drank, smoked hookah and had the best time. We tried: -Chicken & waffles -Rasta Pasta & Chicken -Tacos -Bacon Mac & cheese -Hookah pitchers of mimosas, Bellini, & sangria The food was just ok (hence the 4 stars) I'd definitely pass on the Mac & cheese. But hey you can't just eat everybody's Mac and cheese. The Rasta pasta was a bit on the greasy side, but still tasted good. Like I said it's all about the vibes, drinks, hookah and decor.

I came here alone. If course dress properly. In my purse i had a pair of Christian Dior slides. The lady at the door told me i needed to check my purse because of the slides. Soo I'm supposed to check my 1500 dollar purse with a pair of 600 dollars shoes and trust that I'll see either again? Question? Say i did agree, where was i supposed to put my money when i was wearing a silk dress with no pockets? I politely decline and walked out. These people must smoke meth

They're definitely serving fake liquor. Booked a section for $1400 and none of the "top shelf" actually tasted top shelf. The way. We were sick after explains it all. Don't trust establishments like this.

I celebrated my 57th Bday with my Cowboys and Cowgirls outlaws. We enjoyed the food, music and drinks.

Sooooo it's has been super long since I ventured here ! Years in fact.. I came for a birthday event .. brunch ..I must say I had a great time .. the space is decent enough as a lounge ;however it immediately became overcrowded..in which turned my experience left ..because it's a lounge --right ?! There were a couple of birthday's being celebrated in which the DJ was immaculate..The vibes were dope and music was all around for EVERYONE. There was hookah ..the food came out very fast . I was in a large party/ group, I didn't eat..however I asked around the group and from what I got the "Shrimp and grits " was a hit..the portions looked massive as well..I had whiskey and ginger ale which was not overtly priced ..under twenty dollars..I could actually taste the alcohol. The staff was very busy but super attentive ..this was definitely a vibe on a Sunday afternoon / evening for all ages ..I will return

Manager was completely incompetent and absolutely rude. The music was good, the bouncer was kind, coat check was smooth, and the servers were doing their job. MANAGEMENT specifically needa more training and they need to work on developing skills that allow them to run a better business. The Female manger present on 2/3/24 (2-3pm) should definitely not be working in an industry where she is required to have good customer service skills and communicate with consumers. Additionally, 15 minutes into getting our food. We were required to start wrapping it up :). Needless to say that myself and the party present could never give our business to this location and any future sister location, disrespectfully. Fortunately! we found a better location to give our service to and we were able to save the birthday party vibes.

Came on Saturday for Melanin and Mimosa Brunch. It's pretty good. I had fun. The drinks were the right amount of Champagne to orange juice ratio. I liked the red one better. My coworker had the Rasta Pasta, which was good, her friend the fish and chips, and I had the steak and eggs. The steak could've been a bit bigger, and eggs could be more to supplement for the lack of size of the steak. I asked for medium well but got well done, and they added too much cloves; I also didn't care for the sauce on the side, but the potato thing was good. The dj was hitting, and the crowd was good. The host was awesome. Sorry I didn't get his name. I will definitely go back there for brunch.

I would give it 10 stars if I could!!! We hosted my son's bar mitzvah party at Taj Lounge and it was literally PERFECT! We had the MOST AMAZING NIGHT!!! Christopher runs the tightest ship and left no stone unturned! Service, food, drinks were all fabulous. Our guests were complimenting everything all night and the next day! Next time I have an event to host Chris will be my first call!

Service was ok. The dj was 7.5/10 but I did have a good time. Just prepare to stand if you don't get section. Even empty sections the bouncers act like somebody is going to pay $ to get there

I went for brunch for my cousin's birthday. It was a nice vibe, good music and good food. Even with the reservation, we had to wait but not too long. Definitely a younger crowd. I would go again.

This place was by far the worst restaurant experience I ever had. I'm completely traumatized and it's been years since visiting I honestly DONT know how they're still in business. Believe the other One Star Reviews! I'm telling you The waiter took over 45 minutes to take our order and then with I finally got my food I could tell it was leftover food from the day before that Didnt sell. The plate was ice cold (confirmation that it had been sitting in the refrigerator for a while) they waiter said "yeah sometimes we do that". and there was a Huge Horsefly in it the size of a coin on the burger. The waiter swapped it out but at that point I had lost my appetite and gave it to my friend. She eat everything and said the replacement was nasty and left it there. I left a good tip and never came back.

Celebrated a birthday going to brunch & where do i start: The seating layout felt a little all over the place. People are dancing within the aisle of your table (if you're like me, i don't want people all in my space eating). I thought thankfully we were seated in the back BUT getting a waitress attention was STRESSFUL. You couldn't tell who worked there. Any chance we needed something, I felt like we were playing a game of Where's Waldo? The food was okay. I'd ordered a chicken sandwich and asked for NO tomatoes and guess what's in the sandwich, tomatoes! Getting someone to come back to the table to correct the order wasn't even worth it. One of our guests at the table also didn't get her food when everyone else got there food. One of our guests had to walk into the kitchen i believe to grab someone to notify them that we are missing a meal! Lastly my food wasn't hot or at least room temperature. Refilling our pitchers for bottomless mimosas was also stressful because we couldn't find the waitress. You don't want to think about chasing someone done for refills when you're with a large group - of course drinks are going to be flowing. That's why we wanted bottomless. Now let's end this with a vibe check - we were dancing and singing the entire time! The DJ, music, photographers and people really made up for the lack of service and food. We were having a ball vibing to r&b and dancing. Everyone was in there to have a good time. No bad energy was in there! I'd come back for drinks and kick it at the bar but I'd pass on going with a large group.

Best place!! We had our son's bar mitzvah here. It was half kids half adults and a FANTASTIC party for all! Everyone had the best time and the manager Chris made everything smooth and stress free. We loved the atmosphere. We didn't need to bring extra decorations because it already looked great! The food and staff were amazing and everything ran so smoothly. We loved the drinks too. I can't recommend this place enough! Even afterwards Chris was sending photos and videos of our night. He is fantastic. Highly recommend for any event!

I went with two friends for salsa dancing. We had dinner, food was very good, service was very efficient & friendly. The band was excellent great dancing people there to have fun. I'd highly recommend this place.

THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE R&B BRUNCH ON SUNDAYS! This is going to be a long one... A promoter rents out the space on Sundays for a R&B brunch which you can see from their separate IG page @rnbsundaysattaj. To make a reservation, you have to DM the promoter in which you send them $50 to reserve your reservation through cash app or zelle. The $50 is applied to your bill which is good. I was skeptical because I've been places that are more professional than DMing and sending money to someone you don't know. I confirmed it was legit and sent the money via cashapp. The promoter was very nice and answered my questions in a quick and friendly manner. Fast forward to today, I reserved for a group of 6 at 4:30pm. The promoter will tell you the different time slots so you can choose whatever one. He let me know prior that the reservation is held up to 15 mins and if it's past that I can lose my $50 and the reservation so I made sure to be on time. I got on the line around 4:20pm with my boyfriend and the bouncer stated i needed at least 3 people to be seated which was annoying because I wanted to make sure my reservation was okay. My group was late so I didn't want to be penalized. As I was waiting for my friends, the line got longer and longer as all the 4:30pm reservations were arriving. They must've been standing on the line for over 20 mins which doesn't make sense since they stated there's a 15 minute grace period. I noticed there were a lot of people upset about reservations. The host was very dismissive but helpful at the same time if that makes sense. She was nice to my party but was snapping on other people. You can tell she was stressed out as everyone was trying to get her attention so they can get seated. The bouncer scans your ID (no vaccination cards were needed), the host crosses your name off the list and then she seats you. PSA - the dress code is a JOKE. They kept promoting that heels were mandatory but I saw chicks with flip flops, slides and sneakers. Make it make sense. My 2 stars are solely for the music and our waitress, Naree. Music was hip hop, R&B, club, soca, etc. The brunch menu is pretty limited tbh. Bottomless included mimosas, bellinis and sangria where they bring out 2 pitchers at a time. The sangria wasn't good but the mimosas and bellinis were okay. Let me rewind a little, our reservation was at 4:30 and we were seated at 5. We didn't start getting drinks until 5:30. While my friends and I were vibing, we noticed the food was taking forever around 40+ minutes. After checking on the ETA of our food we finally got it. They serve everything in plastic and to go boxes which quicker to throw out and replace so I respect that. My other friend arrived around 5:40 so she was able to walk in and get seated. A couple minutes before our food came out she ordered. I ordered the catfish fritters, my bf ordered the burger and my 3 other friends ordered steak and eggs and chicken and waffles. My friend who ordered the steak and eggs was disappointed at what she received; it was so small! She tried returning the order to re-order something else but the waitress stated it would be another $45. I understand when some things are out of the waitresses control but the customer isn't happy with the food and being that she's paying $50+, she should receive a plate of food she's happy with. She wanted cheese on her eggs which she told the waitress and didn't get that. The waitress stated that the kitchen couldn't do that but she never told my friend so communication was lacking there. My bf said his burger was good, my catfish was decent and my other friends chicken and waffles were dry. At this point, it's 6:30 and my friend that arrived a bit late still hasn't received her food. Since the time slot was 4:30-6:30, they were clearing tables for the 7:00 reservations but since my friend didn't get her food we had to wait. At 6:30, the last person on my reservation arrived and the host wouldn't let her in since it's past the reservation time which is understandable since it's 2 hours later but the host was rude to my friend which made her pick up and leave before her food arrived. My boyfriend had to talk to the waitress to get her tab off the bill which she was able to. A couple of drinks later, we got the bill, my $50 reservation was deducted and my friends tab was deducted. Total bill came out to $190.97. Taxes were $15 and gratuity was $45. OH AND FYI - they need an ID and card to hold the tab which they don't tell you when reserving. And they don't tell you gratuity is added. Since my card was already on file I told the waitress to charge it and then we left. PROS - this spot is definitely a vibe with the music and the hookah. The venue is nice too. Our waitress was quick and made sure our table had drinks. CONS - waiting forever on line. food was OK. It was hectic outside while waiting. Didn't like that certain things were left out when making the reservation. Dress code is a joke.

Me and the girls came out to hang. When I arrived I parked in a reserved spot. I walked in and the security coming in was great. I found my girls and we were served by Kenny and he did his best. The drinks were good but the problem we ran into was one of the security guards was acting weird. I told him when our time was up we had another table to go to but he insisted on throwing our drinks away and was kicking us out of the table as if we were resisting. I don't remember his name but he had small dreads and he was terrible. The music was good and Kenny was good but security at the end was terrible.

Had a great experience here with Christopher and the whole team while planning a buyout for a work event. Very reasonably priced and delicious food!! Drinks were flowing and our guests had an amazing time. Would love to return!

Came here for my friend's birthday party: Lit environment. Had the rasta pasta with shrimp and the fried chicken sandwich. My man had a upset stomach after the sandwich.

Wow!! What a great place. Had 40th high school reunion at TAJ. The service was outstanding The manager Chris was amazing. Anything we requested he provided it. We asked for certain drinks and menu and was very pleased with his input. Also late need for a DJ and he was there to help The staff was also very good. They made all feel so special Rachel and Andy served drinks lightning fast and kept the glasses full. Any and all needs were met. Taj Lounge was a remarkable venue for a party for our daughter. Everything was planned and executed without a hitch. The food was delicious (especially the skirt steak crisps my favorite) and our guests were impressed. The service was impeccable and the venue for a lot of energetic kids was perfect with a great dance floor for both adults and children. I highly recommend checking out Taj for a special occasion. You will be as wowed as we were.

Came with a group friends and had a great time. The waiters were very friendly. We had 2hr bottomless mimosas and I ordered the Chicken and Waffles - very tasty. The waffles are red velvet and the chicken was very good. Would definitely recommend. I will say that the music was a bit loud. The DJ was playing some bangers but if you're coming with a big group it's virtually impossible to communicate with people at the other end of the table over the music. Just something to keep in mind.

Completely annoyed, that I have to check in my jacket a leather jacket at that. This place has no maturity. The fact that you have to check in your jacket just shows how much this place has not grown. I spoke to the owner about why do I have to check in my jacket and she even had a jacket on so it just didn't show any type of leadership in your establishment. I turned right around and realized this is not the place with me and I didn't think that businesses were still doing this.

I usually go to Taj on Friday's afterwork to support Wayne Maxwell, but I wanted to try R&B Sunday's Brunch. I highly suggest you make a reservation at least a week in advance. If not, you still enter, but you will most likely have to stand at the bar. From there, you can wait for someone to move once there table party arrives, or when they are done eating. You can then sit down, and proceed to order. The Brunch cost $45 per person including 2 hours of unlimited Mimosas, & Bellinis. The Steak & Eggs, or the Chicken & Waffles are both good choices. They give you enough food. It is definitely worth the price. Along with the good food, the music is flowing with R&B tracks from today as well as throwbacks. I really like their Sunday vibe.

The receptionist on 6/11/23 couldn't even have a causal conversation without getting frustrated so easily. I was trying to inquire about my table reservation and if there was anyway they could still accommodate my party of 13, even thought they set me up with a table for 10. She even went as far as to ignore me and requested to only speak with my co worker. I think she needs to be trained in customer service. She was clearly having a bad day and brought it to work. I asked for the manager and this receptionist, she really looked away and called for security. Meanwhile the entire time I'm just talking, no tone, no attitude just conversation. In conclusion, nothing was resolve due to the lack of customer service. My 13 guest and I had to leave ‍ I wouldn't waste my time at Taj, a birthday was ruined and I wouldn't want anyone to experience the same situation at this spot. Definitely wouldn't recommend for a special day.

Came here for brunch for a party of 3 with no reservations. We were able to sit down very fast the customer service was great the food was great they kept refilling on time for the mimosas, they have hookah no free refills, music was very good No real complaints

Was drawn to book tickets when I saw there was free entry through Eventbrite for a Saturday night with R&B, Hip Hop and Afrobeats. Turns out after midnight there is a $20 cover per person - this is not at all communicated on the Eventbrite tickets. We had to wait outside in the cold in a disorderly line for a ridiculous amount of time. People with tables reserved are prioritized but even they had to wait a long time. Once we finally got in, they forced us to check all bags and coats $5 each including light jackets we preferred to keep on. The space was smaller than expected. The one positive element was the music. Otherwise the staff - from bouncers, coat check staff and staff collecting cover fees were unfriendly, pushy and rude.

Mandatory coat check - $5 per item Make sure to get on some guest list, so that the cover is waived because whatever the cover may be, it's not worth it. Make sure to reserve a table/seating area because there is literally nowhere to sit if you dont have a reserved area. Saturday night entry as a birthday party guest included 2 free drink tickets for house liquor which were good for use until midnight. A Hennessy neat and a Captain Morgan with coca cola came to $35 with tip already included. No need to dress nicely. I saw both men and women wearing work boots, sneakers, and the most interesting outfits (body suit with a mesh skirt and keds!) all on a Saturday night. This is a great place to celebrate for someone in the 21-29 age range and the idea of popping bottles excites you. Or if you're in the 29-40 age bracket and you want a flashback to when you were 21-29, this is your spot. The wooden floor can be slippery at first if you're wearing stilettos or pumps, but after being doused in the alcohol that people will spill, you will be fine. They did make an attempt to keep the floor clean though. Bathrooms are all the way to the rear by the exit sign. Great mirror is available in the ladies room, and the place itself was pretty clean considering. The staff was composed of some curt characters but overall everyone was nice. The table service was very accommodating and available. I cannot truly comment on the value of pricing as someone else was footing the bill. Hookahs were quoted at $40, if that is your thing. If you purchase a birthday package it ends up being a better price and does include a lot from what I observed. The DJ was pretty good and played a bit of everything in a way that kept everyone moving. The coat check at the end of the night was great. The young lady working the coat check was quick and efficient (she wanted to go home too). It's not my kind of party but it may do for you.
