Takahachi Bakery has a cozy and elegant vibe with beautifully made Japanese-style pastries. The matcha cream roll and red bean desserts were light, balanced, and not overly sweet — you can really taste the craftsmanship. Everything looks picture-perfect, and the staff are kind and polite. Prices are a little high and some popular items sell out quickly, but the overall quality makes it worth a visit. A lovely spot for anyone who enjoys delicate, well-made pastries

Mango pudding? Yes, mango pudding. Delicious, creamy, lusciousness. Also tried a mango specialty drink, refreshing, palate cleansing. Had just smashed half a chorizo burrito from Derrick2 food truck(it was amazing), and needed a good palate sweeper to clear the hot sauce before trying the pudding. We also split a ham and onion pastry, not sure what it was called. Thin sliced high quality ham, caramelized onion on a flaky pastry, nuff said.

I hate having to leave a negative review, but the last time I was there it left me expecting better. It wouldn’t hurt them to say if they’re busy and that they’d take a little longer to make some orders, but I don’t like being left to wait guessing whether or not my order was lost and feeling like I’m in the wrong for waiting longer than other customers for one thing. I get if I’m not a regular or spend a lot here, I think their service needs to be better, because their food is good. Their attentiveness needs some improvement, and I don’t see myself coming back, despite being the few (or only) Japanese bakeries in the area.

Everything I’ve had here is delicious and I plan on eventually trying everything!!! The sandwich was a favorite. Also the fish pastries are incredible. I love the huge pot of miso soup as well. 🥣

Absolutely incredible bakery, I could tell the moment I stepped inside. Everything on display tastes as incredible as it looks- I tried a beef curry pan and it was one of the finest things I’ve eaten, so I got a bunch to go. The pastries were incredible and I’m excited to try more when I return. The prices are also absolutely a highlight. Definitely merits a trip across the city on its own!

ABSOLUTELY FAVE SPOT!! I just came back from Japan so this place was such a blessing to stumble upon and rid me of my post Japan blues. EVERYTHING is amazing there and well priced. I would eat here everyday for the rest of my life if I could… but unfortunately they’re closed on Mondays

My family and I came in 20 mins before closing, mind you there’s 8 of us and still greeted with smiles. There was a few people inside as well looking around. The place is so cute and everything we’ve tried has always been good. Today was especially nice because the guy at the register gave us two free pastries. I couldn’t take a picture of all the food (we bought like $35 worth) but this is just some, love their soft serve!! They have sweet and savory, and both vary in different flavors and level of sweetness. Shoutout to the guy on the register for making us feel so welcome!

It was very lovely coming to a spot I never thought would be so close to me! There were so many options to choose from, food wise. They I got karaage chicken (apologizes spelled wrong) along with a matcha latte and a strawberry with red bean paste and mochi! Next time I must try the sakura bread, which is shaped like a sakura cherry blossom. The options for food are endless :)

Easiest lunch experience ever, yummy and fresh options that you can just grab and go with (after paying of course) or you can grab a tray and eat right inside! Beats the whole foods hotbar any day! Be ready to stand and eat!!!

Affordable and a genuinely potent matcha flavor. I would come here again for the icecream. This place is no frills in the best way, limited seating but clearly is good at what they do

Super cute stop with very tasty small breads. I got an iced hojicha and it was just a regular iced tea basically. Service was super quick.
