I visited my favorite restaurant in Dubai with my father, who was traveling from Japan. We sat at the counter and enjoyed the combined course. When the chef prepares the dishes right in front of you and explains each one, the food somehow tastes even better. Sushi that is carefully hand-rolled piece by piece before your eyes is truly exceptional. The top-grade uni was especially delicious. I love this restaurant because it offers the highest-quality, luxury ingredients—on a level that’s hard to find even in Japan.

Takahisa is an absolute must-visit for the best authentic Japanese dining in Dubai. We opted for the à la carte and were completely blown away by the quality.Every dishes were beautifully crafted with great attention to detail.Each plate showcased the harmony between premium ingredients and the chef’s exceptional skills. Even the cocktails were works of art, expertly crafted and enjoyed with a beautiful view. I am truly grateful to the entire team for making my visit so special. Transcendent Omakase Experience: TakaHisa Bluewaters is Dubai's Finest My friend and I treated ourselves to the omakase course at TakaHisa on Bluewaters Island (Banyan Tree Dubai), featuring variations of A5 Wagyu beef and it was an unforgettable symphony of flavors and artistry. The serene, elegant setting and impeccable service from the diverse, joyous team (Philippines, Nepal, India, Japan, Myanmar and more) created pure magic; They were warm, professional, courteous! Dishes arrived as edible masterpieces: the tomato soup? A nostalgic masterpiece with a creamy swirl, elevated to sublime depths. Seafood melted on the tongue despite my usual caution; it had harmonious, revolutionary flavors. The Wagyu presentations were buttery perfection, from seared slices to creative sandwiches and broth-infused bites. It culminated in that divine yogurt sorbet with shimmering edible gold flakes and crystalline sugar glass. It was pristine, jewel-like, tasting like heaven. The staff were incredibly kind the type of hospitality that makes you feel like you’re being hosted at someone’s home, not just a restaurant. We tried Katsu Sando, Sukiyaki, Yakiniku, and Carpaccio, and every single dish tasted like perfection. Fresh, beautifully prepared, and full of rich flavour… it was one of those meals where you keep saying “you have to try this” after every bite. And the details? On another level. They served our drinks and desserts in Louis Vuitton mugs and Versace cups such a unique luxury touch that made the whole experience feel special. Wonderful lunch with my husband. The atmosphere is lovely and calm, not a party place but sophisticated and elegant. We chose the TakaHisa set menu. All dishes were amazing, the freshest Japanese we’ve had in Dubai! Highly recommended and we will definitely be going back.

My partner and I went for lunch and sat outside, the view is incredible and you get a nice breeze which makes it even better! Now food is beyond fresh, all the ingredients have such flavour and they're matched wich such harmony! Make sure to have a glass of wine from the head sommelier's vineyard and the beef carpaccio, both legendary! We will definitely be back to try the omakase at the counter!! Just had the most incredible dining experience here the service was top-notch all the staff are really Polite the places is amazing, and the food? Chef's kiss! Every dish was fresh! flavor explosion! You CANNOT miss the "Wagyu Sando" i must say best dish i have tasted in my entire life! Prices are a bit expensive but every penny is worth it!

Head here for the most authentic Japanese dining experience. Their dishes are amazingly crafted and the attention to detail is just phenomenal. They utilize premium A5 Kobe beef with a marbling score of 12 (the highest possible) and seafood flown in directly from Tokyo’s. I highly recommend you head here for a special occasion and enjoy the beautiful experience they offer.
