Takara Sushi is such a gem! It’s a small restaurant, which adds to its unique charm and cozy ambiance. I didn’t need a reservation, and honestly, I think this place is underrated, this was my second time eating here! The sushi rolls and appetizers were fantastic! We started with the baked eggplant appetizer topped with shrimp—absolutely delicious—and the wok-tossed edamame with garlic, which was packed with flavor. For the rolls, we ordered the SF roll and the Pink Dragon roll. The SF roll was beautifully presented with crispy flakes and tobiko, and the spicy tuna had the perfect balance of heat (kind of mild) and texture, it was definitely a standout dish! The Pink Dragon roll was baked and served in foil, with a mild yet flavorful spicy dressing that complemented the salmon perfectly. Highly recommend Takara Sushi for anyone looking for excellent food and last but not least, AMAZING service!

Really enjoyed the two specialty rolls and salad. They offer a non-alcoholic beer too that was perfect for dry January. Good service too. We friend and I didn't feel rushed.

I was told about Takara Sushi SF by a friend who lives here in SF. Really glad we made it here! Upon entering we were greeted with smiles and great energy. We ordered Miso soup to start. They immediately brought us out tables to accommodate our party. Menus and specials were introduced and explained to us. High quality fish imported A5 Japanese Wagyu. I was super excited to be eating here! I will definitely be returning here!

This is one of my favorite sushi restaurants in the city! Amazing sushi quality, great servings, friendly staff, its such a great spot. Highlightable items to try are the garlic edamame which comes out in it's own little skillet with thinly sliced garlic cooked in - amazing! You should also try the Pumpkin Roll - there is no pumpkin, only fish fabulousness. You only get two pieces, but it is worth it.

Creative and delicious sushi rolls and equally tasty sushi specials at prices so reasonable it's hard to believe it's in San Francisco. Both special rolls we ordered were fantastic and presented artistically, and the nigiri was excellent, the rice just flavorful enough to complement the fish. The place is tiny, but we got seats at the bar, which is nice. Only downside was the intermittent service. Certainly worth coming here for sushi if you're in the Castro.

Solid sushi spot. I went on a Wednesday by myself and was seated at the bar. They were busy and service was quite slow but they gave me a little free cucumber salad for waiting. The salmon avocado roll was the highlight and it was awesome. King salmon and trout nigiris were decent. The negi toro hand roll was fine but was super overpriced at $19. I ended my meal with a second salmon avocado roll since it was so good. The ambiance is cozy and they have a TV that was playing horse races. I would come back but I'd stick to the basics, which they do well

Really like this place. Pleasant staff, delicious food, delicious sake. It's nice to be in the restaurant. I highly recommend it.

Delicious selection. Equally awesome staff! Give your mouth a treat and get your taste buds over here! Had the firecracker (not pictured) volcano, (the epic mountain), x-roll, red dragon, and salmon roll which all come recommended. Give me more volcano crunch in my life. I just want to dip everything in it.

Really enjoyed my time and meal at Takara. Walked in shortly after they opened and were immediately seated by the window overlooking the busy area. This made it a great people watching spot. We ordered the karaage, veggie gyoza, and the SF roll. Everything was incredibly fresh and delicious. The karaage was some of the best I have had with a unique and light crispness. It was served with just a lemon which was fine but would have liked a nice sauce to dip it into. Service was pleasant, music was fun and prices were fair. I def recommend if you're looking for sushi in the Castro area.

Really nice service, really high quality sushi, but I cannot emphasize this enough: way overpriced. Two items cost over $40 with tip. It's a nice ambiance, though very small. I enjoyed the flavor of these items - but sticker shock smacked me hard here.

3.5/5 went at ~8 PM on Friday for a party of 2 and we got seated right away. It was a cute place and had a very attentive staff. Sushi was pretty good, but thought it was expensive for the portion size. We got the rock n roll, salmon & avocado roll, the negi hamachi maki, and the rainbow roll.

Note: Contrary to what Yelp has listed as of May 2023, there is NO outdoor or rooftop seating here anymore. Very friendly staff. Loud, very upbeat music playing when we visited. This was decent take-out sushi, we were not blown away but we'd certainly get it again for take-out. I'm curious what dine-in is like. Really Yummy: - Walu Nigiri (topping is delicious!) - Salmon, Avocado & Cucumber Roll - Spicy Scallop Hand Roll - Saba Nigiri OK: - Hamachi Nigiri - Sake Nigiri - Rock'n Roll Wouldn't order again: - Negi Hamachi roll - Ikura (very strange tasting to me.)

Fast, helpful service. Friendly staff. A regular sushi joint with reasonable pricing compared to other spots in the area. They even do omakase if you're into that. We ordered the Volcano Roll, Summer Roll, and Tempura. I thought it was a bit comical they made a literal volcano out of crunchy flakes atop my sushi. I dug the rolls out and used whatever part of the "volcano" I wanted, haha. The Summer Roll and Tempura were good too. But we liked the volcano best. We got full from the sushi alone, so we kind of wasted the tempura which they brought to our table last. We still had a good nibble at everything: shrimp, carrot, broccoli, etc. Maybe if we were hungrier, we'd finish everything. All in all, I'd say this is a solid place for a quick sushi lunch. It is a small space inside, but they still had a couple of good spots for privacy, and only one other couple was dining here when we came in on a Saturday mid-afternoon.

Popped in for the first time. The place is really small, so it's good for couples or small groups. We were greeted and sat immediately. The staff were friendly and attentive. As for food, I had the chicken karaage and the Fire Cracker Roll (spicy tuna, tobiko, and jalapeño served on a rice cracker.) The karaage was good and I'll order that again. The Fire Cracker Roll was not stellar. It wasn't spicy, and the shape and size made it awkward to eat. It wasn't bad or terrible - I ate it all - but was just underwhelmed with it. Next time, I'll order something different. I had a good experience, and my friends ate up everything they ordered, so I think I just need to come back and try a different roll. If you don't know the area, street parking is available and is only like a block - block and a half from Castro Muni.

A Japanese restaurant run by Cantonese folk. We came for dinner and as a party of 6 they seated us pretty fast even though the restaurant was pretty full. It was also pretty small, so not many tables and a small bar in front of the sushi chef. I ordered the chicken tonkatsu which came with miso soup and salad and the breading was kinda falling off the chicken. The pork tonkatsu that my partner got was a lot better quality of breading. I also got a bowl of rice but it wasn't that much food and I still felt hungry after. My friend got the salmon sashimi which he said was pretty good! My other friend also got the unagi donburi which had pretty good unagi and was actually a decent portion. Nothing too special, but might not come again due to food quality not being too great.

Typically people do takeout from the restaurant they had good in person dining experiences. Surprisingly this time it's the opposite, the first takeout makes me want to try it in person next time. We did takeout for a small gathering. The sushi's and rolls are very fresh! Check!! I am pleased by the look and amazed by the taste. These sushi's are worth trying, I made sure I had at least one piece of everything. Five star! Last but not least, Betty, the owner called to check if everything was good. Oh wow, that's a new level of service quality for takeout!

Excellent food, excellent service and we had a perfect pretty private table for two. Hot tea was excellent! Ordered the volcano roll, Walu nigiri and Takara special, really enough food for 3 so did take some home. Very cool little button on table that press for service. Would definitely go back.

This place is a Castro Neighborhood staple. From the moment we entered, Betty greeted us with a smile & makes us feel very welcome. The ambiance is very inviting & the decor harmonizes with the Japanese cuisine. We ordered seaweed salad & carpaccio ponzu to start. Then we finished with the Volcano roll & the X roll. The fish was fresh & the rolls were both super tasty. We will definitely be back soon.

This place is absolutely terrible! Please don't take the risk. The sushi was not fresh and everything was very cheap in terms of quality. The picture is the himatchi, which I have ordered and enjoyed at many other Japanese restaurants. It's typically served very finely and fresh. That was not the case at Tamara Sushi. The fish looked like ham and had an awful texture and taste - plus an interesting and unusual garnish of cherry tomatoes. The owner tried to fight us when we shared very politely that we didn't like the dish and weren't interested in eating it. She suggested that she chops it into dicey pieces and we eat it with rice? Finally, she removed the plate from our table and we received the rest of our meal, which we couldn't even eat. I instantly felt nauseous and sick from the food. The worst part? When the bill came, the owner/waitress refused to comp the himatchi that we returned since it "wasn't their fault we didn't like it." I was sincerely shocked by the lack of customer service and would highly recommend trying a different spot in this neighborhood.

I've probably eat from here a 100 times over the last decade. It is ALWAYS fresh and delicious. We usually takeout but when we dine in, the service is always great. I highly recommend. One of our favorite spots in the city.

The staff are friendly when dining in (although service can be quite slow), but things turn sour quickly when ordering takeout or delivery. They seem to "bait" you by advertising a much faster delivery time - and then when confirming, they triple the time to an hour+ later than originally promised. Then when you call, they refuse to take any accountability, leaving you hanging. Plus their prices have increased significantly without a corresponding increase in quality. This place has lost my trust, which is sad. I used to enjoy them.

Ordered take-out and was happy when it arrived 10 minutes earlier than their prediction. Ordered (6) rolls, edamame and chicken karage for (3) ppl. It was plenty of food. Will be ordering again.

Really enjoy this place so much. The staff are so kind and the food is delicious. The ratings on here are clearly skewed to people who had a bad experience with a delivery service (which is not the restaurants problem). A true honest rating of this place would be between a 4 and 5 star. You rate these places on where they are, not because you've been to SooooOO many Sushi Restaurants and you'd NEVER cut the fish that thick... or whatever these sad humans are complaining about. I've ordered from here twice now -- each time absolutely amazing! Ordered on Yelp for pickup and got a nice call letting me know that my order was ready. Once I arrived, the ambiance inside of the restaurant was so nice that I decided to stay to eat. The food was delicious, an overall great experience each time! Hiding in plain sight, I've easily walked past Takara Sushi 150 times and finally just learned that they're open for lunch. People are constantly asking me where to go for lunch in the Castro and now that I know that Takara serves it, I've added it to my list of suggestions. If you're in the Castro, seeking well-priced Japanese food for lunch, here's your place. I understand that Takara does a bustling business at night which might account for the tired look of it during mid-day. The tables were worn and the place looked bleak enough that I had a moment of hesitation on whether I really wanted to try their raw fish. The moment passed, I overlooked the interior, ordered, and crossed my fingers. Trust. I was rewarded. For around $10.50, the lunch menu offers a Bento box as well as a combination sushi lunch which I opted for. Miso Soup, and my choice of two maki (Hamachi Nega Maki, Spicy Tuna Roll), brought out well crafted fare that was light, fresh, and satisfying. A steaming cup of green tea reinvigorated me almost enough to step back out into a day of rain. It's nothing fancy during the daytime but their offering is satisfying and I've no doubt I'll return. Takara Sushi? Nice to finally see you.

Nice restaurant which really felt authentic due all the Japanese customers there. Situated at the back, next to Miyako hotel, a quiet area away from the hustle and bustle of the mall. I had moments when I felt I was in Japan and we were the only non Japanese customers there. The waitress was super hospitable. The food was good....the miso ramen was simple and a little on the salty side for me. The tempura roll was on par and really crispy on the inside. The Chirashi bowl was simple and satisfying. A great place for authentic Japanese food and atmosphere.

Tried to place an order on Uber eats but such a fail. When a restaurant isn't open yet, it doesn't show up or it is faded black and white color on the search. As it shows on my search with full color I assumed it's open! I was interested. Places an order, and it says it's being prepared and person is picking up my order and then they canceled cuz my order was taking too long. Another person picked up my order and canceled again. So I try to cancel my order, to which Uber informed me I won't be getting my refund as there is nothing wrong. Until I reached out to customer service and explained to them their restaurant isn't even open even tho it showed up in my search and took my order. Got my cancellation and refund back.

Ordered takeout at 6:00pm and the lady said they would call us when the food is ready (expect a 45 min wait). ordered the Volcano Roll, Takara Special (platter of sushi roll, sashimi and nigiri), and a miso soup. Volcano Roll (5/5): crunchy and delicious, if you can only get one roll, get this one Takara Special (3/5): really looking forward to this as it had the holy trinity (roll, sashimi, and nigiri). By the time it got home, the fish had been slightly heated up, due to being in a plastic bag next to hot miso soup. The result was slightly warmed raw fish, making the whole platter a little ~too~ fishy for us. The Dragon roll that it came with was delicious though. Miso Soup (3/5): ehh.... not much to say about the miso soup. Needed salt imo, but we finished it nonetheless. Overall, the food was good and I'll definitely dine in once COVID is done

Always solid. Always delicious. Friendly staff. 10% discount if you pick up your food & dont use abysmally greedy Door Dash. Tonight's chirashi sushi was one of the nicest Ive ever had.

I have been here a few time and the sushi has always been good. But I came in this time and they have a 10% discount for to go orders... I said don't apply the discount as they need the $ more than I do.. they refused.. was I about to get in a fight over my insisting I pay more?? Respect your local restaurants!!! I will definitely be back as I love how they approach the customer experience!

Very, very good neighborhood sushi spot in the Castro. The sushi is delicious. The staff is great. This place deserves a much higher help rating.

Tonight was disappointing. We always thought it's delicious. We ordered beef udon and there were lots of noodles, sea weed and three tiny pieces of beef. At $17 for the soup was disappointing.

Ordered Romeo & Juliet and In Heaven rolls, fresh and delicious. Also great and friendly service.

I like that Takara is open for lunch at least until 3pm - do you know how hard it is to find a sushi joint that stays open between lunch and dinner in the Bay Area?! It was a nice, rainy afternoon when we came to Takara. There are several seating tiers, including up at the sushi bar, and next to the bar, and it had an intimate feel. I had a giant plate of nigiri, which is why two people ended up spending $60 for a late lunch.

Sushi can be found in every city these days. I remember about 17 years ago when I had my first sushi roll. I fell in love. The powerful taste and simplicity of the ingredients is what keeps me coming back for more. Being from Alabama, you wouldn't think I know much about it. Actually I don't. However, I do know what I like and this was delicious.

Great service and really good sushi! Was walking in the neighborhood and thought I'd give it a try. I love vegetarian sushi and I liked the agedashi nasu (fried eggplant in a broth with lemongrass and ginger) as well as the vegetarian dragon roll which had avocado and sweet potato. My friend got the tuna salad and the gyoza which were good as well. For the price, it was decent. If I'm craving sushi, I'll come back here again!

How does this place only have 3.5 stars!? This is my favorite sushi place in the neighborhood. There is a roll, not generally on the menu with a finely sliced lemon on top and tiny little jalapeños on it. I am addicted to it! Service is always friendly and attentive.

Placed an order on Grubhub. Order accepted on Grubhub. 2 minutes later got a call from the restaurant telling me i had to cancel order because i was outside their delivery area. Asked her if she could just cancel as after all the restaurant had accepted the order. And rudely told i had to do it. Tried to cancel on Grubhub and struggled. Called back and made the mistake of asking again if they accepted the order couldn't they be the ones to cancel. Woman became super rude and told me she wasn't going to argue with me that i just had to do it myself. Don't mind that there was some issue - i waited tables after college... that happens - and had to cancel (not super easy on Grubhub if you haven't done that before which i hadn't) ... and no i don't believe the customer is always right ... just the un-necessary rudeness. Oh and finally cancelled order.

I've only been here once during lunch and they were closing in an hour. Two of my friends and I ordered from the lunch menu and the price is decent for a Japanese restaurant but I have to say that the portions are a bit on the smaller side. I got a bento box with 2 items; salmon shioyaki and tempura. It was good but nothing spectacular. My tempura came with a small slice of eggplant, small slice of zucchini, a piece of broccoli, a slice of sweet potato (I think), and one tempura shrimp including a small salad, rice, and miso soup. However, one of my friends ordered their tempura udon and that looked so good! I was immediately regretful of my decision and wished I had ordered that! She said it was very delicious and would recommend so my guess is that you would probably get more of a bang for your buck ordering the udon. The waiter was very kind and helpful though! I think I would try this place again for the udon but probably wouldn't go out of my way for it.

This place serves quality sushi. The nigiri is fantastic. Specifically the salmon is excellent. I couldn't be more pleased. The only issues I will mention is that the goyza wasn't as fantastic as I hoped. Also the service was subpar, my meal was brought out 15 minutes before my guests. I would suggest going between 430 and 6 PM on Sunday through Thursdays because you can get their discounted manual where all the nigiri he is 2.50 a piece and appetizers are significantly discounted. You'll end up spending about half that you would otherwise. I'll definitely be returning but I will only be ordering Sushi and miso soup.

I highly recommend the tempura roll!! It was so flavorful!! Def my fav sushi place that I've tried so far in the Castro's can't wait to come back and try more rolls!

Hmm... I have no idea why this place is rated with 4-star. After a delivery eating experience I would say 2-star is maximum. So, I ordered delivery through doordash and the expected delivery time was 7:57pm. At 7:12pm restaurant confirmed the order and begun to prepare the food, and the food wasn't be able to pick up until 8:16pm and finally got our food at 8:24pm. Almost an 30-min delay. Okay let me assume it is not the restaurant's problem but rather the delivery service itself; but the food was mediocre. Tonkatsu: C. Okay, probably delivery of fried food was not a smart idea (foiled paper was used and a hole was cut at the lid preventing damping fried food with moisture), but it couldn't have been that bad? Very hard to chew. Moreover, some cheese was added in the middle of each piece of tonkatsu, the combination was super weird and it did not taste good at all. Eggplant: B-. It was some small pieces of eggplant topped with shrimp and scallop. Not sure the appropriate temperature but both the eggplant and seafood was cold. The eggplant barely had taste in it. Spicy Tuna Roll: B. Decent, spicy tuna was with okay freshness. X-Roll: B-. It's some salmon+tuna-topped roll with mayo. Fish freshness was average. The mayo did not do the job to enhance or add an interesting taste to the roll. Hamachi Sushi: B+. The hamachi was considered fresh. But the sushi as a whole was not impressive. Cold rice. Salmon Sushi: B-. The salmon was not fresh at all. Don't have much to say about it. Portion of each dish was small. Yet it turned out to be ~$49+tax total. A very unsatisfying meal. Won't go back again, not delivery nor dine-in.

Wow. This place is $$$. Got the nigiri 10 piece sampler and the other sampler and it was $40 each for a total of $80. The portions are smaller than other sushi restaurants. Not enough to get full. Won't be back. Also they had the following health violations from Oct 2018: VIOLATIONS * Inadequately cleaned or sanitized food contact surfaces * Foods not protected from contamination * Moderate risk food holding temperature * Inadequate and inaccessible handwashing facilities

Even though I had a passing curiosity about its previous identity as an intimate Asian fusion restaurant, I never made it here when Sumi ran this spot. It looked attractive, but I heard mixed notices about the food. When she retired six years ago, it completely fell off my radar, and when it changed names, it might as well have entered the witness protection program. Then one night, I was at Curry Boyz right across the street and glanced over. Suddenly it looked inviting to me. It only took ten years. Par for the course for me. Anyway, Jamie W. and I finally made it here after checking out the new rainbow crosswalks at 18th and Castro. They just opened for the evening, so they were just setting up for dinner. Naming the place Takara didn't help me remember me since it's a pretty common Japanese name. There's even a restaurant in J-Town with the same name. It's kinda like naming a place Sam's. Anyhow, it's mainly sushi though they have standard Japanese fare if you prefer something that's been near a stove. That was gone so quickly I'm surprised Jamie still has fingers. Then our main sushi order arrived on one plate. Nothing really to say about the roll except that it was put together as expected and tasted fine for a California roll, I suppose. It was a bit like a rainbow roll with mayo. Not a bad thing if you ask me. That was quite good but I was finding it hard to justify the price in my head, just my belly. They do sushi well here, and it's well worth a try if you're in the mood. FOOD - 4 stars...sushi well executed...and they have ankimo...score! AMBIANCE - 3.5 stars...tiny spot crowds easily so come earlier to avoid claustrophobia SERVICE - 3.5 stars...attentive enough but a bit aloof TOTAL - 4 stars...probably your best sushi option in the Castro

4 stars. AMAZING service. Friendly people working here. Great fish fish. Went here on a rainy Sunday night. We shared some blue fin tuna and some fish with truffles. Then we got 2 miso soups and 3 sets of rolls: - Spicey Geisha - Soft Shell Crab - "monster" The staff kept our glasses full and were attentive. We shared a Japanese ice cream sampler for dessert. Would return.

Soooo worth the 1hr bus ride. The service, food and the place is amazing. Both our waitresses (the trainee and the trainer) were so attentive and quick even though it was rather packed. Next time we're in town we know where to come to - new favorite spot!

Came here around closing and it was still buzzing with people! Located off Castro this sushi place is my favorite in the Bay Area, it was my 5th time going here! When I went here last I sat at the window seat which has a great view of the road and one of the two TVs in the restaurant, and they where playing the Clippers game at the time. I ordered Sake, Volcano Roll and Yummy role. I strongly recommend to get the yummy and volcano rolls if you like crunchy flakes. Service was quick and efficient, very friendly and brought out the food pretty quickly. I would strongly recommend this place if you want to try a very good sushi place that has high quality sushi at a good price!

I'm so happy!!! I rarely like doing Japanese takeout because it just tastes so different after it's packed in containers and changes temperature when you get home. I ordered simple - chicken udon and a side of miso soup and I am so impressed with how comforting it was to slurp! It's never the miso that gets you like this so this one is a star on this chilly night . The udon is cooked beautifully and didn't get soggy on the way home so I am very pleased. I'll definitely join for a dine in next time I'm in the area!

After eating here probably 5 times, and getting takeout another 5, I took my 3 year old here for lunch today and while our food was good, our server treated us so strangely that we will never be returning. Several weird things: 1) Gave my daughter a menu, then 5 seconds later took it away from her, and didn't even realize that she was saying "I want the menu" as he walked away. 2) Took away her chopsticks. And after I grabbed her new ones, he came over and tried to scare me that she'd get lots of splinters from them and get hurt sticking them in her nose or eyes. Um, maybe this is a problem for some kids, but you're not her dad, and my daughter is actually a sushi pro at this point. She actually uses her chopsticks and it's one of the things she loves about eating sushi. 3) Sat us at a sticky table, and when we moved, chastised us for moving without asking for permission. He explained that it's sticky just because it's old... But the table we moved to wasn't sticky. So why did he sit us at the sticky table to begin with? When your restaurant is empty, maybe use the good tables first? 4) Bought two lunch specials, each with salad, but only brought out one salad. Why? 5) We asked if they had any juice. His answer was simply "No". Not "No, sorry, but we do have x, y, z...". Just "No". 6) We had to share a soy sauce dish. Because apparently kids don't like soy sauce? Or deserve their own dish? 7) Never came by to check how we were doing... We needed plates to actually eat on. I had to get up and go ask for one. BTW it's not like anyone was watching, but my daughter ate all of our nigiri, all of our gyoza, half of our rice, half of our maki, plus some of her soup and tempura. For a little one, she chowed down. Sushi is her favorite food. It's what she always asks for when I ask her what she wants. I do think this is a fine place for mid-range sushi if you're a group of friends or a couple. The quality of the food is quite good. Before I had kids, I really liked coming here. But now that I do have kids, I don't think this place is a good fit.

This is the best sushi in the Castro, no question. Ken has been my server for the last 3 years and he always makes sure I leave happy. Plus, he remembers my name every time I come in. But enough about Ken, you probably want to know if the sushi is good. When I arrived, I asked if they had any seasonal fish and he pulled out a whole Black Sea Bream that had arrived that morning and chopped up some nigiri for me that was incredible!!!! Service is amazing, fish is freshest in the Castro, and I always leave with a smile on my face. Pricing is very reasonable and they have lunch specials too that are very well priced. You will not be disappointed!

Ordered delivery from this place and I was not completely blown away, but hey it's better than McDonald's lol. I ordered the hamachi nigiri, the tuna tar tar, and 2 different rolls. The best item I ordered was the hamachi nigiri because it was relatively fresh. The rolls were very basic, but I felt like it was my fault because I couldn't really see pictures of the rolls online. The tuna tar tar was good but it could have been better if it was spicy. Overall, I may want to come back for a dine-in experience to see if this place will increase my expectations.

We had a really nice lunch here. The service was attentive and the food was good and at a reasonable price. We got a couple of rolls and a tempura bento box. Everything was yummy. Staff was really nice which is hard to find these days. I'd definitely come back again.

Some of the best on the west coast in terms of freshness!! We originally had it postmated to us when we visited SF (from SoCal) and it was so good we had to postmates some more! And we even came back a few months later! Fresh taste, great service!! Will definitely come back. Get any nigiri you can! (Salmon and crab were my favorites)

Anyone who orders delivery sushi and bitches about it needs their tongue cut off and their eyes gouged out with a hot poker. Takara is legit. If you want great sushi without raping your wallet (especially in SF), this is the spot. Any sushi delivery will be mediocre (and probably hot and slimy and gross) at best. Don't be a lazy foodie and expect premium. Again, Takara is legit. 7/5 stars

Decent sushi but not the best or worst, not authentic Japanese place, a little bit sloppy, our sushi rolls were falling apart once picking them up, we sat at the sushi bar and saw the sushi being made, one gross thing we found in our sushi is a piece of hair...gross :$ Keep that wallet and go somewhere else
