"After taking a nearly one-year break on bottomless brunch deals, Takoda’s original locale in Shaw retooled and revived the service in late July. This time around, there’s three kinds of (90-minute) bottomless options — food and mimosas ($53); just food ($28); or just mimosas ($28). The food component consists of a self-serve brunch buffet stocked with bacon, turkey sausage, breakfast potatoes, biscuits, gravy, scrambled eggs, French toast, fried chicken, fruit, and more. For mimosas, pair sparkling wine with cranberry, pineapple, or orange juice. Patrons partaking in any endless deal now get a hangover-friendly perk: a free pair of branded Takoda sunglasses. Brunch on every level runs from noon all the way to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, with the last seating at 3:30 p.m." - Tierney Plumb, Emily Venezky
"Head to the top of this towering Shaw staple to encounter a breezy, 360-degree bar overlooking the nightlife neighborhood below. Executive chef Julio Estrada sends out top-selling tots, bottomless brunch, burgers, chicken wings, and sliders to go along with draft cocktails, mules, and domestic whiskey pours. Better Hospitality Group (BHG) also has a second Takoda in Navy Yard that’s nearly twice as large as the original." - Tierney Plumb, Vinciane Ngomsi
"Issa’s original plan was to actually open a second Sauf Haus across the upper floors overlooking Nats Park. 'But then COVID hit and I knew we needed to keep the money,' he says. Takoda, the Shaw stalwart that’s unaffiliated with STFU, ended up leasing the above-ground levels for its sophomore D.C. location that opened in 2022." - Tierney Plumb
"The beloved Shaw bar that just expanded to Navy Yard offers three-course weekend brunch with bottomless mimosas for $53 with a 90-minute time limit (11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.). Food and drink can also be ordered a la carte." - Tierney Plumb, Stephanie Carter
"Takoda Restaurant & Beer Garden is opening its second location in Navy Yard, larger than the original in Shaw. It features a rooftop, bottomless brunch, burgers, chicken wings, sliders, cocktails on draft, all-American beers, and domestic whiskey." - Tierney Plumb
