Google
I went to this place because it was nearby where I was and the fusion was interesting. The girl who helped us was so nice! We told her it was our first time there and she proactively gave us some suggestions. We got the avocado chicken bowl and it was delicious and healthy. Full of flavor. We tried the aguas frescas they had there and they were very good too. I would definitely recommend this place.

Google
Ordered the bowl with brown rice and pickled cabbage/kimchi and steak. Also ended up going for a pulled pork taco to give one of those a try. Overall I would give this meal a 4.5/5 Inside decore was nice. The best part was the staff, the guy behind the counter was more than helpful as this was my first time and did not know what all I wanted. Went with a Sriracha sauce, lime crema, with some cilantro, sesame seeds, and added for .75 some pico de Gallo. For the taco went with the pulled pork and all of his recommendations. Taco was good but a bit on the greasy side, but not to terribly bad. The bowl was good but honestly I think I will go with the chicken next time to give that a try. Staff - great Food - good (except the pork being a tad greasy) Atmosphere - relaxing modern Would I return? Yes this seems like a good place to grab a quick bite to eat that fills you up.

Ordered a Bowl with half steak and chicken. I wish they had noodles to go with the meal like some other local options. It was good except for the salad portion which I did not like as much (-1 star).

Google
Takorean was given a high endorsement from an associate of mine to try while in Washington DC. They were not wrong. Cleanliness. 4.5 of 5. The restaurant was well maintained and appeared very clean. Service: 3.5 of 5. Staff was professional but not talkative to the customers. A little more interaction would have been nice for a first trial run. Food quantity 5 of 5. I ordered the slaw bowl that had romaine slaw with some kimchi slaw. For the meat I had chicken. Additions were tomatoes, pickled daikon radish, and cilantro. A lot of food, left the restaurant full. Food quality 5 of 5. Every bite was full of flavor and pleasant. The aroma of the food matched the taste. Though late in the day when I solicited the restaurant, the food was still fresh, delicious, and delightful. Price: $$ 15-20 per person would be reasonable, I didn’t chose a lot of options that could increase one’s bill. Overall I would give this restaurant a 4.5 of 5

Google
Our Office had this catered today and im obsessed. I built a bowl with white rice and romaine, tried both the chicken and tofu. The sauce the tofu is cooked in was divine I spooned it over the whole bowl. There were tortilla chip bags - im assuming those came from the store too - I crushed them over it and it was great juxtaposition im texture with the softer ingredients that are so well made. I also had the broccoli and kimchi in my bowl. 10/10!!!!

Google
I tried the union market location a while back, and I was disappointed. I think it might have been because it was the end of the day, and all the food did not taste fresh, but this time around, it was for the most part pretty good! I got 3 tacos, one chicken, one pork, and one tofu. The chicken and pork were really yummy! Tasted the fusion of Korean and Mexican flavors! The tofu was just meh, but I think tofu fusion is always meh, and Korean tofu should only be in stew or steamed with kimchi imo. The slaws for each taco were also yummy, but still kept the flavor of the meat as the star. Gonna knock the price because it was 11.35 for 3 tacos, but definitely worth it on Taco Tuesday when the price goes down to 7.35. Go on Tuesdays!!! Place is very clean, if a little sterile, but no complaints from me there!

Google
I asked the server would he suggest the tacos or the bowl and he HIGHLE suggested I order the bowl. My boyfriend ordered the 3 tacos with pork, chicken and steak tacos and for some reason they had very little to no taste. I ordered the chicken bowl with brown rice with the gochiu pow toppings. It's was really good but not really filling. Sadly, I was hungry a couple of hours later. Great place for a quick lunch if you're in the yard though.

Google
I discovered them when I used to work nearby. I love to get the bowl with white rice, romaine slaw and bulgogi beef. Very tasty and look forward to going back when I'm in the area.

Yelp
I always come here for your tofu. When I'm watching my weight, TaKorean is one of my go-to spots. Their tofu is flame tossed in a wok I believe and you can really taste that smoke. They also marinate it in a savory sauce *chefs kiss* I've tried their other options and they're just okay - not as good as the tofu. One of my friends refuses to eat here because apparently this place is not Korean-owned. If this is true they should really hire someone Korean as a head of operations or something to cover their tracks haha just a suggestion - they'd get way more customers! Long story short; get the tofu :)

Yelp
Was expecting the food to pack a huge punch of flavor after the worker suggested a few different things. Slightly disappointed in the overall experience of flavor of food. Everything looked great and that's mainly why we chose here for food. We got both chicken and pork bowls. The salad parts of our bowls were both kale and Kevin had the cucumber salad whihmch was honestly very yummy. The meat and rice took up the majority of the bowl and other toppings were additional charges as mentioned by the worker. They definitely knew their info and were super nice. The diakon was a nice tart taste separating our palates from the meat and smaller flavors on the salads. The lime sourcream sauce also helped slightly with the changing of flavors. Overall, we most likely won't be back for the serving size and flavor of the food. We need more flavor. Jake n kev

Yelp
I've been here twice now and the Bulgogi hits the spot! This place is like a Korean Chipotle but the ingredients are super fresh and the flavors aren't muted! I've had the guak, and two build-your-own bowls: one pork and one bulgogi. Note: If you order online, it should be noted that the pork is shredded and is not spicy or bulgogi. I prefer the beef bulgogi, anyway. It's definitely worth the $2 upgrade. I like to add all the toppings, too. The cabbage slaw (kimchi-inspired, maybe?) is god but the romaine is my favorite and a nice way to get some greens in. I've only ordered ahead for pick up (parking nearby can be a mess) but every time I come in, the place is clean and very chill. The staff is always nice and my food is always ready in like under 10 minutes. Great for lunch for sure. I'll be back. A bowl will run you about $15 or so bucks depending on what you get. I recommend paying a bit more for the marinated cucumbers, too.

Yelp
TaKorean has become one of my go-to spots for a quick lunch in Navy Yard. It's a great location for a fast, health-minded lunch with friends or coworkers. The format is styled like a Chipotle restaurant--you pick your style of meal, your protein, bases, sides, and sauces--with plenty of options. The flavors draw from Korean cuisine and include options like bulgogi and kimchi. Vegetarian options are available, and I really enjoyed the tofu on my latest visit. Service tends to be fast, even when the line is long. Prices are reasonable for the sizable and filling portions. There are also a few tables for indoor and outdoor seating. TaKorean is worth a stop if you're in the neighborhood.
google avatar

Danny B.

Yelp
TaKorean is a really solid spot to get lunch around the Navy Yard. What we have here is Korean style chipotle, what's not to love? If you love Korean food, you're going to love this place, great flavor, nice and helpful customer service. For me, it's just not my favorite style, i would like it to have more meat in the bowl, not that j don't love veggies, I think it just needs more meat to balance out the ratios.
google avatar

Nica F.

Yelp
Probably one of my go to places in Navy Yard for a tasty fulfilling lunch/dinner bowl. I usually order a bowl with White Rice (Brown Rice if I'm feeling healthy), Spiced Kale, Bulgogi Steak, extra Lime Creama, Cilantro, extra Crunchy Shallots, and GuaKamole ($2 extra). The staff is always super sweet and generous with the potions. The indoor seating and kitchen/ordered is always clean but I prefer the outdoor seating on a nice day outside.
google avatar

James H.

Yelp
Pretty solid quick serve spot. Bowl size isn't the biggest for how much you're paying but the menu offers good flavor combinations. Service was friendly. Location is decent if you're in the Yards and need something quick and easy.

Yelp
This has been my staple since I moved to DC a few years ago. Their pork tacos and slaw bowls always hit, however they recently hired a girl (I don't know her name) who has messed up my order twice in a row now. I just came for my birthday reward and ordered online pick up. I asked for a bowl that included go chu pow sauce, crunchy shallots, and spiced kale and got 0/3. As I've said I've always loved this place for their fresh flavors, affordability, and presentation, but as a loyal customer it sucks that one worker has been ruining my experience. Please tell her to get it together and read the orders properly. (The photo attached is not from my recent visits.)

Yelp
Got this as part of a catering order - had three pork tacos with their slaw. Nice spice to add flavor and a bit of heat! The pork was tender and delicious. They were also packed full of pork. I'd come back to make my own tacos for sure!

Mariana V.

Yelp
Ordered for pick-up. The food was cold, the portions were not proportional. It was really disappointing to ask for utensils and not have it placed in the order.

Yelp
Amazing food! Incredible service! Really super kind of genuine people who work here. The tacos were soo good! The flavor profiles and fresh ingredients tasted fantastic. Only docking off one star because my husband and I found some pieces of our beef were too chewy with fat or ligaments. If the beef quality was better or if they leave out the harder to chew pieces, then I can definitely see this going to a 5 star review status. Other than that - this is a fantastic spot for tacos with great prices ! Check out the tacos Tuesday deals!!

Yelp
Had my first take out experience here today. My girlfriend bought lunch so I gave it a try. The bowl I had reminded me a lot of chipotle with the chicken and romaine lettuce. I added pico and lime cream. It was light and fresh. I didn't pay so I can't comment on prices. I would try again and be interested in the tacos. I will def try again!

Yelp
TaKorean has really tasty tacos! We tried the bulgogi (steak) and chicken tacos. Both were really good but I preferred the bulgogi. They have lots of toppings to choose from. The romaine slaw & pickled cabbage are really good and I really like the lime crema which is a sour cream based topping with lime juice, mirin & agave. The meat is tender & juicy. It's a little cheaper on Tuesdays if you're looking for a deal. Definitely a good choice if you're in the mood for tacos!

Yelp
I attended a basketball game with do-workers at Capital One Arena between the Wizards and Hawks. One of the concession stands at the arena was TaKorean Korean Taco Grill. I was so pleasantly surprised that there were vegan food options at the arena. I had missed lunch, worked a full day, and was settling on popcorn as a safe vegan option for the evening. So I was so ecstatic to see tofu tacos on the menu. They were very flavorful and delicious. It was quick, accessible, and convenient. Very clean and the staff was very accommodating and courteous.

Yelp
I got a bowl with tofu and this tofu was amazing! The bowl was really good. Everyone was very friendly and the service was really quick. Great place to go for a quick meal

Yelp
This was our first time ordering from here and they did not disappoint. Everything tasted fresh and was flavorful. The kids and I were pleased.

Yelp
One of my favorite local spots. My go to order is the brown rice and kale bowl with tofu. I also enjoy the pork and chicken. I generally add lime crema, crispy shallots, and the gochu-pow sauce. The restaurant is very clean and the staff are friendly, fast, and efficient. There is generally no wait. This is a great place to stop for a fast, filling meal.

Yelp
TaKorean is like a korean meal in fast food set up. best way to describe it would be if korean food was sold at chipotle, this would be it. 1. Food - meh The kimchee is really a poor slaw with a bit kimchee like spice on it. It is nothing like a kimchee. The beef is too salty and the rice is okay, but they could use a better rice, but I am sure it would hurt the bottom line. Worst of all, it costs $11 per item and it is not in any way cheaper than what you could get at a good korean restaurant for the same price, especially for 2. 2. Service - exactly like the Chipotle If you were in a hurry and need to eat something fast and there is no better option close to you, sure, it is a good place. Otherwise, you won't see me here. I do like their creativity though, replicating Chipotle style to Asian food.

Tracy S.

Yelp
Food was great! Lots of gluten free options for me! People were nice and the food came out quickly.
google avatar

Danielle S.

Yelp
Really love the slaw bowl. The cabbage and kale together are such aflavorful combination. A tang spicy, but not overwhelming. Also the cabbage has the perfect crunch. I ordered the chicken once and salmon once. The chicken is mostly dark meat. Would love to see a white meak option. Also wish there were more toppings, but the picked radish and pickles were delish.

Robert S.

Yelp
Good, filling, healthy! Once I started I couldn't put my fork down. I didn't even get a chance to take a pic it was so good!
google avatar

Yelp
Good tasting food. Good quality ingredients. Good service. Expensive on the small Guac. Will come again.
google avatar

Ken D.

Yelp
A good place for a quick lunch. I love the spicy kale slaw with tofu and chicken in top. Sometimes I get 50/50 with white rice. A quick lunch that doesn't leave you feeling heavy. It's never been too crowded when I come in either. I wish the base order came with the spicy cucumber or an egg. That would be a cherry on top.

Yelp
I was so excited to try the "chipotle of Korean fusion" concept but the yelp reviews are inaccurate! My sister dined with me and we both ordered different items so we can definitely say that it wasn't that we made poor selections. All of the ingredients on their own were fine. From the nicely grilled chicken to the spicy kale the taste seemed pretty ok. Except for the kimchi which was very "off." But mixed all together the taste doesn't work. We both agreed the meals lacked a pickled aspect. The overall taste was "meh" lacking zing or wow...like we just tasted the day before at Rasa.... a far better chipotle concept executed with Indian flavors. They seem to be doing a booming business and it is fast.... faster than fast food even. Maybe their tacos are better? With so many fantastic food choices at the navy yard I won't return to find out.
google avatar

Eric W.

Yelp
Super awesome Asian fusion place. After seeing a museum for multiple hours, I was starving, and this place seemed to be the best. Food - Delicious! There are an assortment of meats and sauces to choose from, along with the initial decision between a bowl or a taco. I chose the rice bowl, with bulgogi, white rice, sour cream, and cilantro, and it was amazing. You're welcome to choose a slaw bowl or a taco (or 3 tacos) along with any other meat and sauces and rice that the serve. I would highly recommend any of the two bowls with bulgogi, with any sauces you may want to choose. Service - Great, mostly just ordering, and you get a bowl at the start and they pile in the ingredients nicely. Parking - Hard to find, but there's a Harris Teeter nearby with parking if you don't mind a short walk. Overall, this place is great.
google avatar

Yelp
I was a little apprehensive to try this fusion but we got it for lunch and it's now my favorite!!! You have got to try it! I got the slaw bowl with chicken-everything was flavorful and fresh tasting. Very filing for lunch as well! The guac was amazing! The chips that come with it are just a small snack bag. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming! Parking-Navy Yard location is a little difficult to park, I ordered ahead and parked at the curb with my hazards on to quickly run inside.

Yelp
Like many fast casual restaurants around the DC metro area, this a chipotle-style dining experience, except with Korean ingredients and flavors. You have the options of either tacos, rice bowl, or slaw bowl. I decided to go with the bowl and go with a combination of brown rice and spiced kale as my base. They also have kimchi as an option, but not a huge kimchi fan. For my protein, I went with the tofu which has hoisin sauce. For my toppings, I got crunchy shallots, a little bit of sour cream, and little bit of their spicy sauce. It was a decent size portion and fulfilled my hunger. Everything seemed fresh and the spice level wasn't over the top which I enjoyed. They do have both indoor and outdoor seating. Download the app and get $3 off your first purchase. This is a solid option in the Navy Yard neighborhood. Flavorful food at a reasonable price, so I may be back at some point.
google avatar

Yelp
TaKorean | The Yards in DC is a great place to go for delicious food that is well prepared. I really like everything that they have available here and have been impressed with all of my orders. The staff here provides excellent customer service.
google avatar

Zoya F.

Yelp
Staff are super welcoming and the food is delicious! I have visited the TaKorean stall at Union Market, so I was excited to try this sit-down version of the restaurant. I ordered the Slaw Bowl with bulgogi and chicken. The pickled daikon is 50 cents extra, but worth it. I was in the area to see a show at Trapeze School New York, and I'm grateful they announced TaKorean as a sponsor. I never would have known to visit otherwise. I've got to come back and use the LevelUp app to get that $3 credit. I loved the Slaw Bowl, but those tacos are classic. Gotta have some more of those...
google avatar

Sonya L.

Yelp
We did take out. The tacos looked interesting and I would say our favorite was the pork and least favorite was the chicken. Was a little disappointed in some of the flavors. There was use of cabbage that was just plain and didnt have enough sauce to compensate for that. The tacos are a little expensive for what I was expecting from Korean inspired.
google avatar

Aubrey W.

Yelp
I can not emphasize how incredible the concept and execution of this restaurant is. A Chipotle-esque build your own bowl, salad, and taco, except Korean. They had playful takes on many classic Mexican options, such as salsa, pico de gallo, and guacamole, but everything had distinctly Korean flavor profiles. I got a build your own bowl with the pulled pork, which was super juicy and flavorful. You can get rice, slaw or a combination of both as a base, and then pick all the toppings to your hearts content. I tried several of the toppings, but my favorite were the pickled radishes. They are a little extra money but give the meal the perfect tangy, crispy bite. They have several sauce options or "salsas" of a variety of spice levels, so any spice tolerance can enjoy! The prices were very reasonable for the amount of food (about 11-$12 depending on your selection of meat and any special toppings). This meal was so quick, so convenient, and simply delicious.

Yelp
This was one of the best food stops on my road trip! Customer service: the guys that helped were really nice and patient. I came during the COVID social distancing time, and they were very observant of the protocols that most restaurants were taking. That made me feel really comfortable. I give their customer service a 5 out of 5. Atmosphere: super clean! Since it we were dealing with COVID, there was no indoor seating. I didn't feel too badly about that though, because it was a gorgeous day! Try to get outdoor seating if it's convenient enough or if there is seating. I believe that there is only two table currently. Food: You don't have to come here completely hungry because my meal was sort of light (and I am pretty slim). I got a taco bowl and it was magnificent!! So flavorful!! You can see In my pic what I got (steak, brown rice, cilantro, sriracha, sour cream, etc). I will never forget that dish FOR SURE! The pricing was a tad on the high side, but after I took a bite of my food I forgot how much I spent. Would I recommend? Absolutely! Will I be back? I hope so! The food was definitely worth writing home about.
google avatar

Nick D.

Yelp
Came here for a quick lunch bite. It is basically a korean version of chipotle meets Chop't - light, healthy (?) and filing! I think the quality of meat was okay. I think the flavors did not stand out and overall I was underwhelmed.

Zackary D.

Yelp
If you're looking to lose all your water weight, stomach contents, and get a six pack in a few hours, this is the place for you! Tastes great going in, and comes out even easier!

Yelp
It's so hard to order to make it home with these babies! I have been craving some for weeks! This location stays open the latest, they are clean and the food was fresh even late at night. I couldn't believe how friendly the staff was, Will in particular was unforgettably personable. If every business had one of him it would be hard to fail! He actually was on the grill but assisted with my order talked casually with me while the chicken finished up and apologized for the chicken not being ready. I love this location and may only go to one from now on, that's how amazing the experience was for me. Thanks Will and the crew.

Yelp
Bottom Line: Gahh...may not be true korean but flavors are BOMB and resembles the spices pretty well. All around the different options blend together great. Also SO much generous meat, which makes up for the over $10 price of the bowls! Overall, gonna come back here for sure. Food: A good assortment of combinations. Wish they had more toppings similar to bibimbap but I was satisfied! Base: Choose from rice, slaw or combo for the bowl or tacos. Much prefer the kale slaw over the lettuce slaw. Had a better flavor profile. Meats: We got the chicken and the pork...keep in mind this isn't traditional pork belly, spicy pork bulgogi or al pastor meat...it's pulled pork (mehh in our opinion). But the chicken...hot damn it was bomb! Toppings: We got the kale slaw and lettuce slaw and much prefer the kale! They don't have traditional kimchi which was upsetting but in reality, it wouldn't have been the good quality kind (for those Korean Americans that were raised with the real thing!). Dried shallots were a nice touch. And forgot the spicy cucumbers but usually a good choice as a korean topping/side dish. Final thoughts: For being the second level Roy Choi Korean taco fusion away from Los Angeles...this place is pretty good. Since I compare every korean taco to above great Chef's tacos, I'd go with the bowls and get your meat's worth!

Yelp
Opted for the Slaw Bowl for a healthier option. ROMAINE SLAW: shredded lettuce & cabbage dressed with a mild rice vinegar & sesame oil vinaigrette. *Really boring basic slaw. CHICKEN (DAK GALBI): juicy chicken marinated with sweet chili, soybean paste, ginger & soy. *Chicken was really tender but flavor was a bit bland. I feel like they dial back the marinade to appeal to the masses to not overwhelm peoples taste buds. CAULIFLOWER: pan seared & reduced with a chili-lime glaze. *Super crunchy with great bright chili flavor. POACHED EGG: perfectly runny organic egg poached inside it's shell. *Really liked that they cracked the egg and dropped it on the top. When I sat down it was perfectly runny and mixed well with all the veggies. I'd come back if I was in the area and craving a marinated meat bowl but I didn't really get bold Korean flavors.

Yelp
Love Takorean! There are so many fusion taco places + food trucks around, but I think Takorean is one of the best, if not the best. Consistently great food - the chicken and tofu tacos are my favorites. Everything is reasonably priced (under $12 for three tacos or a bowl). Brought my nieces here and they couldn't stop talking about how much they loved it. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
THE BIG: My two favorite cuisines: Mexican and Korean, blended together. What could be better? Located in the twelve12 building right besides sweetgreen and the Harris teeter. Roomy space with the fast casual feel (similar to Chipotle). Outdoor seating is available when it's nice out. THE BLACK AND WHITE: I've always wanted to try this place ever since hearing it's cool fusion name: taco + korean...hence takorean. Perfect timing was when I forgot my lunch one day and finally had an excuse to try this place out. I came after 2pm so I didn't experience any line. However being served was super fast, hence fast casual. There were 3 different types of items to get: tacos, rice bowl, or slaw bowl. Since I never had a slaw bowl, I opted for that. On my bowl, I chose a slaw base. They had 3 options: Spiced Kale, Romaine Slaw, or Pickled Cabbage. Since I couldn't choose, I sampled all 3. I also got the Pork and the korean style salsa roja sauce. The roja sauce was the mild sauce while their hot sauce was sriracha. It was good but it seemed watery. Each of the slaw had their own unique flavor with Romaine Slaw being the most neutral...and less salty. The others were wayyyy too salty. The pork was seasoned, prepared well, and super moist. Yum. Service was great. I wanted to know what the roja sauce tasted like and the server put the sauce and some pork meat in a little sample cup. It was good enough for me to get it. This place also accepts LevelUp, which is super convenient if you don't want to bring your wallet. THE FINAL BAMBOO: I spent $9.60 on the slaw bowl with pork... It's an extra $1 for bulgogi (beef). I dont think the ingredients inside the bowl qualified the bowl to cost that much especially since you get more bang for your buck at Chipotle...not to mention more food.

Yelp
Amazing, healthy, fresh! Was looking for a low-carb lunch option, so I tried the slaw bowl, with the kale slaw, pork, all the included fixins, and daikon pickle. I can honestly say I've never enjoyed a kale salad so much! That dressing they have for the kale is on point. Pieces were tender and the perfect size for chopstick eating, not at all tough like I frequently encounter in uncooked kale. The pork was amazing. Perfect flavor, juicy and tender! Just right portion; I felt very full but not at all weighed down. Close proximity to the Navy Yard and very convenient. I plan to be a regular here!

Yelp
I've eaten at Korean/Mexican fusion places before, and really enjoyed the food, so I was excited to try TaKorean with my sister for lunch last month. Unfortunately, it was pretty darn disappointing. I ordered one of the bowls, with kale and chicken. Each ingredient separately was actually pretty good. The chicken was moist and flavorful, I liked the kale, the sauce was good...but when you put everything together it just tasted odd. My sister ordered something different and thought the exact same thing, so I don't think it was just the particular combination I ordered. Both our dishes were definitely missing acid - maybe if there were some pickled onions, or vinegar, or even some fresh lime it might have tied it together better. It was quick, and the place was certainly packed. However, there are a lot of other great options in this area now, so I don't think I'll be coming back.

Yelp
Fantastic restaurant. There's just a great burst of flavor within the first bite. I would recommend this spot and also it has good prices. :)

Yelp
TAKO 'bout a great meal! Takorean's fusion of Mexican & Korean cuisines (hence their name) brings bold flavor that's the perfect combo of tangy and spicy! They have tacos and bowls, both build-your-own style. I tried both and have to say the bowls are the move! I felt like I got a better bang for my buck with the bowl (it was LOADED). I got rice & romaine slaw as my base with chicken, cauliflower, crunchy shallots, pickled cucumbers & daikon, sesame seeds, cilantro, gochu-pow sauce (medium spice), and lime crema. Got pretty much the same toppings on my tacos but tried with pork and tofu. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
The Korean chipotle. It felt like a "build your own bibimbap" place. I got a slaw bowl with pickled cabbage, bulgogi, pickled daikon, and a poached egg topped with a sweet chili sauce. The food was delicious, but the staff wasn't very friendly. It almost felt like a chore for them to take my order. I'd eat here again, but I'd rather order online instead of speaking to the staff.

Yelp
Good tacos, although I enjoy the bowls more. I had no idea which meat goes best with which cole slaw, so I told the server to do whatever she thought was best. It looks like there are standard meat-cole slaw combinations since she used the same combo with my friend who didn't specify any combo: pork with spicy kale, steak with kimchi, and chicken with cabbage. For toppings on all the tacos, I got gochupow (spicy-sweet) sauce, sesame seeds, cilantro, and shallots. I love pork, but I thought the pork taco here was rather dry and bland. The steak and chicken tacos were great and very flavorful though. The chicken was particular succulent and moist. I think the pork taco would have tasted better with kimchi, since kale wasn't very flavorful (or maybe it was but the pork wasn't). Service was very nice.

Yelp
All of the yes! I was expecting it to be super busy since it was Friday night, but to my surprise there wasn't many people here. There is a good amount of seating and the workers were super kind! They also serve beer, which is always nice! I decided to get a bowl, but they also have a taco option! I decided to get white rice, bulgogi, spiced kale, gochu-pow sauce, and lime crema. It was so delicious! The bowl is a good size and it was all super flavorful. I was super happy with it and I can't wait to try it again. I do wish it was more spicy though! That's the only downfall. Other than that, I'll definitely be back.

Yelp
We've been eating lots of takeout lately - just like everyone else - and we have had TaKorean on the list for a while. Simply put - this was a huge disappointment. Between the two of us, we had tofu, cauliflower, chicken, beef and pork tacos + a cauliflower bowl to save for leftovers, but we simultaneously looked up at each other and stopped eating. It's just not good. We wanted this to be good, but the flavors weren't there. Cauliflower was underdone and almost raw - which is unpleasant - and everything felt devoid of flavor. Aside from taste, you get a good amount of food and there are a lot of options for people with dietary restrictions. That's definitely cool. With that said, I'm already grimacing at the fact that I have these leftovers to eat...
