Talkin' Tacos Brickell

Fiancé and I came here after doing some shopping at Brickell City Center. It's located on a busy corner with a few tables inside and outdoors on the patio. You order from a kiosk and the food is delivered to the table. My fiancé ordered the burrito with carne asada. The burrito was flavorful, the steak wasn't over cooked and hearty portion. It was plenty for him even after I had a few bites. I had the Mystic Lemonade and he had a Blur Lemonade. My Mystic Lemonade was superrr sweet, way too sweet for me. His Blue Lemonade was also sweet, but slightly less than my drink. Prices are moderate/pricey ($34 including tip) for 1 burrito and 2 drinks, BUT the prices are on par with the area. Brickell in general is a pricey area so it was expected. Decent food, variety of lemonades and outdoor seating. May be back if in the area.

This place is freggin phenomenal. Went for taco Tuesday and it didn't disappoint. We went to the kiosk to order and took a seat outside. Only took a few minutes and we were eating! The tacos were excellent and so was the guacamole. I had the carne asada and my date had the chicken and shrimp taco. The ONLY con is there were no margaritas. Can't wait to get back.

Came here around 4am after the club. It only took about 10 minutes to receive my order & they were very busy. I ordered the birria quesadilla with fries instead of chips. I've found that the consome usually is what makes the dish when I've tried quesabirria at other places & it's kind of nasty without it lol. This was good all by itself, but the consome did complement it well. I fell asleep & woke up eating it. It was a big portion & it tasted as good the next morning as it did the night before. I'm from North Carolina & I could only wish of having a spot like this here. I've thought about the quesadilla so many times lol it was that good!

This Taxp Place has ok taco's but nothing to write home to momma about. If you are on a drunken night out and want food it's good for that. But you can't really eat in and eating out doors is a mosquito fast. You have to go to the bar next door to order beer or alcoholic beverages to eat with your meal so make sure there are 2 of you to get one person on the drinks and the other in the order.

Great tacos!! Delicious and filling, but much more pricey than any other taco place. The burritos and birria tacos were good. I also ordered chips with pico and that alone was around $9. All 3 items were about $50. The service took very long and it was 1 AM. The women's bathroom also had no paper towels or toilet paper, did NOT lock, and was kind of dirty. I wish water was included with the meals, water bottles are $2.50. If I'm in there area again I would come back, but just hope for better service

I've been to the wynwood one and the only issue was parking so went to this one since I was nearby. It was a mistake. The location is good. There's plenty of parking available either in the street or garages. Lots of shopping and other things to do. Ordering is similar to the wynwood location. You use a kiosk and specify what you want etc then sit and wait. This is when the issues came. I had two orders with some removals. One Cali burrito and the other I think was just a regular burrito. The Cali was without rice and the other was without takis and cheese. Both orders came in wrong as the Cali had rice and the other had cheese. I wouldn't think too much about it but when we complained about it, one of the workers was adamant (after we no longer had the orders, since we turned them in for replacement) that neither burrito had the things we asked to remove. I wish I took a picture of the wrong order cause 1) the cheese and rice in both burritos are very obvious and noticeable and 2) the color difference alone in the wrong order and replacements tells you that we basically got completely different orders. They also forgot to give us our drinks which we had to ask for but that's just a side note, don't really care about that. The food was great when the order was right but it was just weird how wrong the orders were and how we were told we were wrong that the orders were wrong. Just FYI they weren't rude when trying to convince us that we were wrong, it was just weird. I recommend the wynwood location in lieu. The parking is a bit more painful but the experience is much better.

Talkin' Tacos is closely located to Brickell City Centre mall. It is a fast casual restaurant. When you walk in you will place your order and pay on an iPad. Loved the theming inside. Lots of black lights to make the neon decorations glow. I ordered the Birria burrito which came with chips. After adding a Mexican coke it came out to $20. The food was good, however I wish it came with queso or salsa. Overall a pretty good meal, but can add up quickly depending on what all you order.

You walk in the door and are cheerfully greeted by your server who directs you to the... Kiosk!!! ‍ I dislike kiosk ordering so much. So one star gone. The decor is cute. The neon lights and up lights make the day glow accents on the black tables pop out. The oceloti (ocelot) and itzcuintli (dog) Aztec symbols are a cute touch. The music is a mix of Mexican pop music. The food? I started with the Jalapeño Queso and chips. Very disappointing. The queso tasted like processed cheese nacho dip and the chips tasted like standard out of the bag corn chips. The Birria tacos were a step up. The corn tortilla was soft but fried to light crisp and had a bit of crunch when you bit into it. The meat was under seasoned for me. Fortunately they had some table suaces that helped out. The Caynenne sauce tasted like a slightly more vinegary version of Tonasco and the Jalapeño sauce added a bit of jalapeño taste. Neither sauce was overly spicy. The staff was attentive and friendly. It's a place I would eat again but it's not a priority.

This place is on a busy corner in Brickell. The interior is dark and dimly lit. When you walk in the host tells you to use the self kiosk to order your food and sit where you like. I'm not sure why the host is even there. I ordered the guacamole dip and chips and the birria tacos. When the food arrived I tried the guacamole first and it was quite good and fresh. The birria tacos though were lacking the flavor I expect from birria tacos. I would consider them quite plain with a mild consomé. I tried all three hot sauces, the jalapeño was nice with a little vinegar flavor, the habanero and cayenne were decent but not great. Overall I'd say it was way overpriced for tacos that were just plain.

The place was stunning, with an amazing vibe, and the staff was incredibly helpful in guiding us through the ordering process using the machine. They were quite efficient, delivering our food promptly. I tried the birria ramen,that I saw on an Instagram post, and it was delightful! My friend had the quesadillas, which were also fantastic. I highly recommend this place; moreover, there's a club next door, so you can continue your evening there!"

I wasn't impressed. You order through a little kiosk. And then it's brought out. They have interesting menu suggested items, however, nothing really stood out. Food was great. Service was OK. If you wanted some type of sauce on your tacos, or whatever, you get two choices.

Talkin' Taco's Saved Our Lives When We Had A Trolley Fiasco! We Were Able To Grab Some Food Right Before Our Cruise. The Place Is Small But Clean And Has The Cutest Neon Lights. The Service Was Pretty Quick, The Food Was Decent, Def Not World's Best Tacos But Still Pretty Good! The Highlight Of This Place Was The Strawberry Churros! They Were Hot, Fresh And DELICIOUS 10/10 To Those! But Over All, Talkin' Tacos Was Pretty Chill.

Had some food delivered on Uber eats it was surprisingly fresh. The flavors were good. The pico de gallo was in a small container for the price, but it was super tasty.

Honestly, not that good and customer service was not up to par there's plenty of better food options that you can eat honestly, I'd rather eat a Subway sandwich before I eat this so think wise before you eat the food here. 2/10 you can find way better

I went to eat here. Because at their wynwood location I had tacos. So I decided to give this one a shot. Ordering was simple. Order on an ipad and they'll bring you the food. I ordered a burrito this time around. It was decent. But I eventually started feeling sick later on in the day. Which had me bummed because I enjoyed the tacos a lot more at the wynwood location. Unfortunately, I won't come to brickell to eat at this one. But I will say service was nice also. But I wouldn't come to eat here for my sake.

This particular location can be tricky as it has no parking but it is in a fantastic corner, right before Brickell City Centre. As you walk in, you will notice that the walls are black with lots of Mexican style graffiti and Instagram selfie moments. Then you will notice the two standalone kiosks where you place your order. Then you can select inside or outside seating and wait for your order to come out. Everything was pretty good. From the horchata to the street corn and the Queso Birria! The Birria Grill Cheese sandwich comes with a little tomato soup on the side. I will definitely be back to this location since my office is in downtown miami. However will try the Miramar location since that's closer to home.

Quick snack before having dinner later that night. Was expecting a bar/restaurant. You order through a kiosk (different). It was quick service. Chicken taco was the best. Chorizo tacos could have been better. Price was reasonable. Overall, if I'm in the area I would go back.

Was in the area and stopped by for a quick bite after hearing this name go around for a while. We walked in and noticed the iPads. There was no human interaction throughout the entire ordering process and still the iPad prompted for a tip at the end. There's a bit of an epidemic of iPad ordering systems and tipping going around Miami. I tip the actual food runner than the iPad so it goes to directly benefit them. We placed an order for their birria tacos and waited about 15-20 mins for them to come out. We were very underwhelmed by the presentation and overall taste of the food. The tacos were bland and just felt like they were missing something. $15 for 3 tacos is very steep especially when they're mediocre at best. A line began to form as we ate and it flowed through almost the back of the restaurant. Nobody wants a line of people inches away from them while they eat. I think the layout is a poor use of the space and they can definitely figure out how to seat more people and have the restaurant flow more efficiently. There are many other great local taco shops and restaurants to spend your money at.

OMG, some of the best birria tacos miami. I have had birria tacos from here about five time through doordash I'm from Southern California . This place tacos are just as good as tacos in San Diego . Very authentic. Portions are good. Keep up the delicious cooking.

If we are rating the tacos, absolutely 10/10 - they were damn delicious! For some reason, any time I visit Miami, we never make it to Talkin Tacos! It's on the list, but time is never on our side lol. Last night I attended a party next door and decided to stop in around 10ish pm to finally give them a try before we partied. My bf and I ordered the exact same trio: Birria, the Caribbean taco & the Bang Bang Shrimp taco. First of all, WOW - all three tacos were some of the best we've had, and I don't give tacos the time of day in the US outside of Texas/Cali lol All three made my tastebuds sing, but that Caribbean taco was different!!!! I have NEVER had anything like it: steak? plantain???? cotija cheese?!??? Omg a winner. I'm Caribbean, so I eat plantain on pretty much everything, but tacos?! Meats were tender and seasoned beautifully on all three. None of my tacos needed hot sauce/additional condiments - which says a lot. Upon entering, there are two kiosks where you can place your own order for either dine-in/carry-out. They close late, so the vibe was very neon and bright colors everywhere. The only thing that held this review back from 5 stars was the actual cleanliness of inside. It was fairly empty when we ate with the exception of about 2 tables, but tables were not being consistently wiped down in between service. Our waiter came to wipe down the table when he saw me wiping down with napkins before we sat down. The tables could def use some upgrading. Besides that, stellar tacos. Perfect late night eats, overall! This area is pretty busy so expect street parking. Bring your appetite!

The food was great! The service was quick and everyone was polite. The place is well-lit and loud/quiet depending on the crown and there are nice paintings on the wall.

It was so good I came back for seconds the next day! They're open pretty late which I loved. I honestly felt like they never closed . I got the shrimp tacos both times and staff recommended we try the red sauce (I could be wrong on the name) that was bomb! Take out was quick and dine-in experience was as well but wasn't busy. I came back today after almost a year... the place def downgraded. The portions are super f'ing small, the food takes life to come out, and the seasoning is off. Not to mention they don't serve the glass coca colas anymore.

The food was great. I was in Miami for work and Talkin Tacos was next to my hotel. So, I gave this place a shot. Though they had a three star I wasn't really sure so I gave him the benefit of the doubt and give him a try. The ambience of the restaurant is very cool. Great places to take selfies and beautiful. Art on the wall. I ordered a steak burrito and a bowl. Both were delicious! The tortilla were perfect. Service was fast! They told be 20 minutes but it was out before that. I would go back. There isn't a lot of parking around the store, but that didn't matter to me because I walked there. Just an important note for those who would be driving here.

I have always heard so much about Talkin' Tacos and the expansion of this business has been massive. Congratulations on the new Doral location too! Can't wait to try that one out! I finally got around to trying Talkin' Tacos and let me tell you, they're not playing around when it comes to awesome tacos! The Birria tacos are loaded well with a good amount of meat but not falling apart status and the cheese is a little heavy but so delicious! If you can't handle cheese then I'd recommend to stay away from it because it is a good amount they put inside. I also got around to trying the shrimp tacos which come fried and they were just as good as the birria tacos too. A pro tip about visiting this spot is you can order online through their website and save a couple extra bucks rather than ordering through uber eats and other online service apps. Another important note is, given it's downtown, parking can be a little tricky to find. Definitely worth giving it a try though and I will plan another visit too.

Wow, this place is colorful and bright. The service was fast and friendly. I appreciate good hospitality. The tacos were good.

The ambiance is low-key chill with upbeat music. I came here with my cousin for dinner. You order at a kiosk machine, find a seat, and the servers then bring your food. There was to server to greet us, but if was self explanatory. We ordered the birria ramen, street corn bowl, and chicken tacos. Everything was full of flavor. I loved the picked onions on the tacos- the acid was perfect with the creamy sauce and chicken. Also, the tortilla was delicious and tasted homemade. The ramen had chunks of meat that was moist and almost melt in your mouth, and the noodles were absorbing the broth so they too were full of flavor. The corn had too much mayonnaise in my opinion, but was tasty none the less. This place is worth a visit!

Great local spot for delicious tacos! The birria tacos were soooo cheesy and delicious! The restaurant is a vibe it's decorated very fun and nice at night with the neon lights! It's self service on the kiosk but there is staff to help you! It's the perfect place to stop by after a night of partying in Brickell!

Ordered through DoorDash. Most mid birria tacos I've ever had. Consume had 0 flavor and was cold. Limes were tiny look at the picture below. Tortillas were greasy, probably cooked in seed oils. They don't even give you any salsa. L talkin tacos I will not order again.

Wow! These are probably the best tacos I've had in Miami. Each one I've tried so far is tasty. There isn't much service required. You have to order from a kiosk. The food comes out pretty fast.

Churros don't look anything like the picture. Simply horrible I ordered a Oreo churro and strawberry and I got this!

We arrived in Brickell late for a pre- cruise hotel stay. Thankfully, Talkin' Tacos was right across the street from our hotel and open into the wee hours of the morning. Touchscreen ordering gave us plenty of time to peruse the menu. I chose the quesadilla pabellon with shredded beef, sweet plantain, mozzarella cheese, and black beans. This was a winning combination! The flavor of the beef was delicious all on its own and it was fork tender. When combined with the other ingredients there was no need for salsa or other accoutrements. It was amazing as was, even though I took it to go. My daughter chose a slice of cheesecake. The cheesecake was creamy and the dulce de leche drizzle downright decadent. Better than expected. I would order again even if it weren't a late night!

Is it Taco Tuesday or Turn Up Tuesday? The restaurant gives you this amazing vibe and has a great menu to choose from. However, when it comes to ordering you have no human interaction you basically order into a screen, and then someone brings it to you once its ready. I ordered the pick 3 tacos, the bang bang shrimp, carne asada and chicken, all fantastic but my favorite was the bang bang shrimp! We got the street corn in a cup and also very good but feel like it would taste better if it was warmed up a bit.

4/5 stars due to having to place your order on the kiosk machines upon arrival. Just takes the personal touch away for me. I'm a sucker for neon vibes at night so I was drawn in anyway. Aside from that this place has some great food! My BF and I stumbled upon here looking for a late bite (3am) and it did not disappoint. Everything is fresh and made to order. Plus there's plenty of seating indoor and out. Enjoyed it.

I went out a few weeks back and was looking for late night food around Wynwood area and saw this joint but I made it there too late so I had something else but still wanted to try these tacos. Last night I went to a bar right next to this joint and I finally left the bar and went in around midnight so I was glad they were still open. I'm a sucker for neon light signs and wall art/graffiti and things like that for the pics and this joint has it all so it is very aesthetically pleasing. Now the only thing I take away the one star for is the fact that you have to order from a standing kiosk machine which in all fairness is easy to navigate but takes away the personal touch when ordering. You're not welcomed by a hostess or anyone for that matter and you just kind of go straight to this machine, place your order and find a table to sit because we didn't have a person show us where to sit. The machine takes your phone number and a few minutes later someone tells your name and you have to raise your hand from your table so they bring the food to you. You see, I'm not a fan of this particular experience but let's talk about the food. We weren't too hungry so we got refried beans dip and chip because they don't have chips and salsa which was a bit strange for a Mexican joint but ok. One of the employees said that they had a spicy red sauce but that's it so he gave me one but nothing like chips and salsa. You have to either order guac or beans to dip in. We also ordered some birria tacos and one barrito. Now the refried beans were just that, refried beans, nothing special. So the only thing to really review here as far as food were the birria tacos and these were definitely delicious. Juicy and tender carne asada, melted cheese and that very flavorful consommé to dip in. I've had a fair amount of birria tacos all over town and have not been disappointed one time and these weren't the exception. I wish I had more to judge or review but that's about it. I assume the other items could be delicious but I can only speak on what I ate. Ambiance is chill and casual and the fact that they're open late is one of the reasons I give them four stars but I will always prefer the personal touch of a human greeting and welcoming me, helping me with menu choices and interaction over a machine so Talkin Tacos...food for thought ;)

One of my favorite Taco shops in Miami. I've been following them since they started a food truck years ago. Nice people, consistent food and affordable. My favorite is no other than the Birria Tacos. So meaty and their birria dip is a flavor explosion. I'm also obsessed with the shrimp tacos. I can't get enough of the crunch from the plump fried ship as I bite on the taco. So yummy. Lately, I've been getting the Quesa Birria which is basically a quesadilla made with the same meaty fillings as the birria tacos but oozing with melted cheese. OMG. It's pretty orgasmic and they aren't stingy with the meat. Also, the Street Corn is highly addictive. Prepared fresh and the toppings are bursting with flavor. If you have room, don't skip on the loaded Churros. I suggest the Cookies and Cream. So freaking good. Love this place. I've been probably have been 3 or 4 times. There are no servers taking orders but you simply go to the kiosk and order food. A few minutes later, a food runner brings your food to your table. Quick and easy and the everything is made to order. The only tough thing to deal with is finding parking unless you live in Brickell. For me its worth the trip from Aventura.

The food is always good, the service was fine only. I'm not a fan of the electronics order and pay system at this facility. I don't mind doing it at Wawa but I don't like doing it at a taco place where I want to specialize or custom order my meal.

I should've known this was going to end badly when door dash alerted me that my food eas ready for pick up roughly 5 minutes after placing the order. Hard pass on this place. This may be some of the worst Mexican food I've ever had. The flavorless barria tacos had large chunks of chewy beef, the elotes were swimming in sauce, and the churros were not the flavor I ordered. I only ordered from this place bc of the churros and they were a huge let down. Why was there a cheese like filling inside the churro? I took one bite out of everything and then threw it all away.

Food was not up to my standards. Horchata was syrupy. I got a variety of tacos, including birria, which had zero actual "birria" flavor, no red sauce. Consomme was weak. Wouldn't come back unless I had to.

If you're looking for a late night spot to grab a bite to eat after partying in Brickell, this is the place. I ordered the bang bang shrimp taco which had pickled onions and a tangy sauce to them, they were delicious. My cousin ordered the horchata and it was as if you were biting into a cinnamon roll, I highly recommend. The only thing I didn't really love was that you had to order on like a tablet, there was no actual human being to take your order. Only interaction was when they brought out our food. Other than that you don't really hear from anyone throughout your time eating. Overall, the food was great! I recommend stopping by

Not impressed! Ordered the mahi mahi tacos, birria tacos and street corn. The tacos were very greasy, not fresh, bland and obviously microwaved. The lime wedges had seen better days in the 20th century. The corn 2/10 and tacos I rate 0/10. I was kinda suspicious when my order was ready in less than 5 mins, 30 mins before I requested. When I arrived the place was deserted. Only other customer was a delivery driver. This place definitely a PASS.

Visited this location on a Thursday night and was completely amazed. You order your food on a self serve IPAD and they handle the rest. Talking tacos has the best Norris tacos I've had in a while and I loved that we got to sit outside. They have great music and great vibes!

I remember when I first visited them back when they were a food truck. I immediately knew those birria tacos were made to a higher standard than I had been able to sample. Turns out a year later, they've expanded to several locations including this perfectly situated Brickell hotspot that lures you in as you head eastbound on Calle Ocho towards US1. I personally love how they mix up the perfectly prepped ingredients and too your tacos with gusto and variety. Whether it's chicken, beef, shrimp or pork-they serve it well so feel free to mix it up. One thing you can't leave without is the Street Corn because it's creamy and juicy that's packed with a crunchy heat which is sure to gather your attention rather quickly. I'm a fan of the nachos because they pack on the toppings quite generously which always makes my stomach smile. The prices are extremely reasonable for the quality of food they serve. Plus, the service is incredibly fast and equally friendly. I mean... it's a winning situation. Ordering from their tablets makes customized orders easy to punch . Open late...casual...great food...amazing service...central location... What else can you ask for ?
