"Though tamales are their obvious specialty, the breakfast tacos at Don Pepe are another delicious go-to at an affordable price. Costing just $2.50, tacos are filled with scrambled eggs; a choice of ham, chorizo, bacon, sausage, potato, or cheese; and a side of refried beans and potatoes. Note: If you get there after 11 a.m., menu items are $1 more." - Brittany Britto Garley

Google
I ordered red chilaquiles (bomb, crunchy). My wife ordered fish tacos, and they said they were okay. Unfortunately, they ran out of red salsa. Like how tf you run out of salsa in a Mexican spot, should be on deck by the gallons. Secondly, they only gave me the chilaquiles they didn't give any side rice or beans. I was like, bruh. The portion sizes are not what I expected. It's like I ordered off the kids' menu. And let me tell you, for four people in a Mexican restaurant should not be more than $100 that's trippn. We paid like 98, AND TIPPED!!

On our way back home after visiting a client, we came across. Inside, it was clean and inviting. My wife had the mole enchiladas, and I went with three Oaxacan tamales. We were both happy with our meals — the green salsa was especially tasty. The restrooms were also very clean, which is always a good sign. We’re definitely coming back to try their delicious-looking breakfasts and the menudo. Really, the only downside is that you have to get up and order your food. Not a full service restaurant in that aspect.

Google
First time coming here. I ordered the chilaquiles with fajita and over easy eggs. Of course I had to get their café de olla to pair with it. The food was so good, it made me feel like I was home in Mexico 🇲🇽.

Google
My favorite coffee now! The iced Café de Olla. Been coming here for years. Love the food too. Usually get bacon egg and cheese tacos, sopes, tostadas. I think I have tried all the dishes at this point and I love them all.

Tony Peterson

Google
We had brunch on Christmas Eve at Don Pepe, and it was great! The chilaquiles were outstanding, as were the gringa and the enchiladas verdes.

Nick Brennan

Google
Great for breakfast. I ate here five days in a row while staying nearby. Breakfast is my main meal, and I like it fresh and healthy. Each day I got an omelette with spinach, tomato, jalapeño, Mexican cheese (queso fresco), with a side of avocado and flour tortillas. And it was consistently good each day. Included with the omelette is beans and potatoes. And the orange juice is freshly squeezed too (none of that crap Minute Maid stuff).

Whitney Cunningham

Google
The food is good but the price is to high you can get way better food at a nicer restaurant for cheaper And bigger tacos for 2.00 The breakfast tacos are 3.75 and they are small for that price you will have to eat atleast 4 to get full. Want be going back i wouldnt recommend to a family that has a large group your money will go to waste. My husband was very upset when he seen the tacos. Not to mention they don't put really any meat in them. People work hard for their money to to charge them kind of prices for food is outrageous for that place not to be an upscale restaurant.

Vanessa Vazquez

Google
My husband and I love this place. Perfect for breakfast and lunch. They are super quick. We have been here several times, food is always good and fresh.

Yelp
This is authentic Mexican food, not Tex-Mex. Unlike Tex-Mex, a lot of the various regional foods in Mexico are mild by comparison. The seasonings are subtle, but there. They don't jump out at you, you have to savor each bite for what it is. I must admit I miss a good hot salsa or pico, so I scrounged around the fridge and found some asian chile paste and made do. I had the Red enchiladas plate for take out, as it was the only beef enchilada offered on the menu, and it was good, not greasy at all, and that goes for the two sides of rice and beans. This is a walk up to the counter and order your meal type place, and the service was efficient, although a friendly smile would have been nice, but that's just me. This is a Mom & Pop place, very clean and utilitarian. Don't get turned off by the run down looking small strip center its located in, just walk in the door and enjoy some great, fairly priced Mexican food, with obvious family pride presiding over the whole operation. I'll be back! I want to try their tamales and the Huevos Divorciados. Wish they offered Caldo de Res . . . my favorite!! I've included a couple of photos, including an up to date (May 2024) Menu with prices!

Yelp
This gem of a Mexican restaurant is tucked away right off of 610 on the first block of south post oak. Inside is small but still has plenty of seating. There are TVs for entertainment while you eat. All the food ordered looked and tasted delicious. Hands down Huevos Divorciados are my favorite. I would add a strip of bacon or fajita if possible next time. The tamales are definitely delicious but the masa broke up easily. They could use some crema and extra salsa. The agua frescas were very delicious and refreshing. I didn't get to try a dessert but will definitely get some next time. Everyone inside is very friendly and the food came about almost as quick as we sat down! Y'all should check this place out soon or there Burgs & Margs down the street.

Yelp
This place is a great little spot that can easily be passed up off of Stellalink next to a laundry mat. The food was good but was a little pricey, $10.50 for juevos rancheros. But if you're in the area and are hungry for some good mexican food def. gotta make a stop. Next time I'll have to try the tamales.

Yelp
The food here is so good! I almost do not want to leave the review in fear of it becoming so busy and then not being able to enjoy it here! But seriously y'all the food is authentic Mexican sopes, huaraches, caldos. OMG! Their coffee is great! It's truly a hidden gem. The service is great! The food comes out fast. My hubby had the huevos albañil and they were so good! The place is in a little shopping strip. I don't like to judge but...its not very attractive. I let other reviews lead me here. It was delicious! The inside is modern Mexicano style. Mosaic tile tables like my grandma's old table in Mexico. Love it! The menu is on the wall like a modern day restaurant. Enjoy!

Annie B.

Yelp
I've been coming here for years for breakfast and lunch. Their breakfast is fantastic, but if there is any one item that really sings it's the mole enchiladas for me. I always do take-out, and service is reliably fast and friendly.

Rob N.

Yelp
Excellent fresh food, especially like shrimp tacos. Great spot. Chips and salsa are not complementary because people took advantage of them. They are excellent. Thick chips like Spanish Village used to have.

Victoria H.

Yelp
We've been going here since they opened and it's SO GOOD. The owner is kind, the food is authentic and delicious. I'm addicted to their breakfast tacos. The salsa is incredible. Love this place!

Yelp
A warm, welcoming little hole in the wall restaurant. Very unassuming from the outside. We were walking home and decided on a whim to pop in. The owner was there to greet us with a smile. We had beef tostadas, a variety of breakfast tacos, and tortilla soup. For dessert - sweet churros! They had lots of fresh juices, including cantaloupe, hibiscus, and orange juice. The food was decent, maybe 3-4 out of 5. But it felt warm and homemade. With the friendly atmosphere, super quick service, and amazing service - definitely makes this little shop 5 stars to me. I'll be returning!
google avatar

Thuy P.

Yelp
We ordered to go some tamales and wipe. By the time we got back to the office and realized the sope which was described on their website as blue corn tortilla was not as it got described. And it's quite small for $5.50 The tamales now are 1/2 of the size which was used to be and prices got increase. The food was not as good as it used to be. I don't think I would be back anymore

Yelp
Wow. Amazing food and service. Great little spot that nobody knows. Like a hidden gem. My favorite spot. My kids love it. Rene rocks.

Yelp
Excellent chorizó and egg taco green salsa it's on point spicy but not overwhelming hot ,tamales the masa crumbles n your mouth it's good , waffles and sopes really tasty

Dave C.

Yelp
Personable friendly staff. Good basic real Mexican food. Three of us ordered breakfast. Food was good and service was quick, just don't expect a server to come back to your table after the food is delivered. Clean and neat throughout. Was disappointed to learn they only had three kinds of tamales that day. Chicken, Black bean, and something else. No basic pork tamales at all. We had hoped to take home a few dozen. Easy to find, only a block south of 610 and a block west of Main.

Yelp
First time visiting and ordered chilaquiles and iced coffee. chilaquiles was good but i want to tey a few more items before i make a fia verdict. Iced coffee was not good.. too sweet and premade. Admired the work ethic and dedication of the owner. He greeted wverg customer , worked the register, took orders, served, everything!

Yelp
I was hesitant to write this review because I don't want secret spot being discovered by the masses... but it needs to be said these are the best breakfast tacos I have found in Houston. I don't know if it's the tortillas, the salsa or the way they mix the eggs, potatoes and cheese, but they really are unbelievable. The menudo is also very good. I haven't had anything else from the menu, so I can only attest to those items, but I am sure everything else is just as good. The restaurant itself is very clean and the owner is almost always there in the mornings working the cash register. He runs a tight ship, and it shows. Parking isn't vast, but there is street parking if the lot spaces are full. I would definitely recommend!

Liz W.

Yelp
The food was great! The corn tortillas are homemade. The closest to my grandmothers cooking I've tasted in a while.
google avatar

Yelp
The tamale oaxaquena was so good. The tacos were good too but I wasn't their biggest fan of thirty l their flour tortillas.
google avatar

Tim C.

Yelp
My wife enjoyed a large banana leaf wrapped chicken tamale with a side of mole sauce.....called the tamales oaxaquenos....i loved helping her. She also loved a bowl of chicken soup which she'll get two meals out of of.....loved the broth and the chicken and veggie goodies....the bowl was loaded. I devoured a single order of beef fajitas, tender and tasty, came with superb gucamole, pico de gallo and rice. The side of salsa poured over the 'fitas and grilled onions put it over the top, the flour tortillas were good. I enjoyed a large cup of very good coffee and wifey had some iced tea, she got a to go cup for that too.

Kristina S.

Yelp
I made it back to Don Pepe for breakfast. Their pork tamale did not disappoint, nor did their Huevos Rancheros. This place is truly a local mom & pop gem.

Raghav K.

Yelp
Its a hidden gem especially for tamales, their breakfast tacos are really good and loved their chilaquiles are amazing. Service is very good but ambience not so much. Little pricy for the portion sizes and location, but would certainly recommend place. Couple of things didnt like were their churros and fresh squeezed orange juice and wouldnt recommend as churros seemed to be frozen ones just fried to order and juice didnt feel good for price they charge and to my taste.
google avatar

Crystal John K.

Yelp
Service was excellent. Tamales had a lot of corn and little meat. The empanadas was a little greasy. Fajita tacos was dry.

Yelp
My cousin and I came here after searching on yelp for about an hour. I drove in from Dallas so I was starving. When we entered the place, we went directly to the counter to look at their menu. All orders are taken at the counter and then you seat yourself. I asked a few questions about their meals and my cousin asked which items were the most popular. Their food is not Tex Mex so don't expect queso as an option for your sauce or cheese enchiladas. My cousin and I decided on a Pork Tamale each and we split a Beef Enchilada dinner. Your only option for beans are refried beans. After placing our order, we grabbed a table and waited for our food. We chatted away for about 15 minutes and I noticed that we didn't receive any chips and salsa. FYI- This is not your typical complimentary chips and salsa establishment so make note of this if you plan on making a visit. Very disappointing. I also wasn't for sure if we were suppose to go to the counter to pick up our food or if someone would bring it to us. I got up from my seat and peeked around the corner and noticed a lady bringing food to another table so that answered my question. LOL When the food arrived, we both went for the tamale. I took a few bites of masa before I actually tasted any pork. I looked over at my cousin to see that she was also looking for the meat. I have had better tamales with much less masa. Unless you love masa more than meat, don't waste your money. The Beef Enchilada dinner was ok but not worth the drive when visiting my family again. Customer service is good but I'm here to eat and it was definitely a disappointment. We didn't try their breakfast so in all fairness to them, maybe they are known more for their breakfast dishes.

Yelp
I first reviewed them a year ago, shortly after they opened. This husband and wife team are cranking out some really amazing food! You will notice in my first review I raved about certain items and said I couldn't wait to try more menu items. Turns out, over the past year, the owner, Rene, has been helping the hubby and I continue our love for good food and filled our bellies with tons more amazing dishes! We love the breakfast tacos, the tamales, the empanadas, and flautas! Oh man, and absolutely amazing ceviche! (Not sure if that's on the menu yet)! And over the past year, I had had to go gluten free for health reasons and they cater to this! They make amazing corn tortillas, corn tortilla chips and even the empanadas! You can see by the reviews that this place is loved so, if you haven't tried it yet, what are you waiting for?! https://www.houstoniamag.com/articles/2019/6/25/killens-tmx-tamales-don-pepe-tex-mex-food Follow me on my way to Foodietown! http://britneygfoodie.yelp.com

Yelp
So if you want the long and the short of this review. It's 5 stars. Carry on for more reviewage. René will hopefully start a little empire with this place. Unassuming, local, fresh made, and delicious should be all you need to know. Usually we call in an order but I am so happy we cannot do that anymore because this place is so busy. I still can't get the exact masa recipe for the corn tortillas, but if your wife is anti-glutenated like mine, the corn tortillas are an amazing sub for the flour. In fact, I would dare say I love them so much more than the flour. The flavor is truly amazing. René does not stop there. Every time we order he makes sure there is not a granule of wheat in sight. Truly amazing personalized service. So whilst last ordering I noticed a little chalk sign "Try the ceviche!!" Passing this up would be like stopping at the Louvre and not seeing the Mona Lisa. Of course I ordered it. Fresh white fish, tangy, bright, avocado, shrimp, tomato, and a flavor bomb to the mouth is all I can say. So refreshing to eat after a morning working outside. Also, the fresh cooked corn tortilla chips were an amazing compliment. Thank you sir. Passing this place up for breakfast or lunch is like passing up an oil change despite the fact your car is smoking and the temp is through the roof. You'd be simply mad to do so. Oh. Try the ceviche. 7 stars.

Yelp
I have only been here for breakfast and I only get the Breakfast Platter. But, it is such a good, simple, healthy meal of scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, refried beans and homemade tortillas and salsa, that I have to give it five stars.

Linda R.

Yelp
I have been here many times for breakfast and lunch. I hate to even post such a good review because every time I go it seems busier than before! The owner is always on site making sure that what is going out is quality food. Everything you order here is authentic and oh so good! The absolutely best breakfast tacos ever!
google avatar

Gloria Emelina M.

Yelp
We just discovered this really nice place. Super clean. Kitchen very clean. The food nice and hot. Super plus are the handmade tortillas!!! Delicious we are definitely coming back and trying out the rest of the menu. Good prices too. Don't be fooled by the outside def come inside and give it a try!! Came back and this time I tried the green enchiladas for lunch. Wow!! Tastes soo good and fresh. You will not be disappointed. Please come out and try!!!

Yelp
I'm so happy I moved so close to this place! When i retire i want to move to CDMX and eat huaraches every day for a snack! This place brings me back there when I ate all the tacos from every stall on the streets. Its cozy and the service is excellent. I will be a regular here! Oaxaquiteño tamale: 4/5 The mole is sweet and the masa is super savory. Not too much meat which let me enjoy the masa and mole flavor that much more. Menudo: 3/5 Chicken tamale with salsa verde: 4.5/5 The masa once again is super savory and you get more chicken in this one. The tamales are wrapped perfectly! Husks just slide right out on each side without unrolling! Huevos divorciados: 4/5 The beans. Omg. Huitlacoche quesadillas: 5/5 Don't even skip this one. Corn fungus!!! Make sure you get a chanve to eat the corn tortillas by itself! Its soooo goood! Super soft and not bland at all!

Yelp
A great mom&pop restaurant that is popular for breakfast. They offer three vegetarian types of tamales which works on their favour. At two dollars for a tamale though it can add up on you. but I didn't ask if they do specials for buying batches to go. The different vegetarians tamales are not greasy, dry even but that shouldn't be surprising given the lack of lard. The queso y rajas tamale had quite a kick out of what looks like just slice of red pepper. The spice is thankfully balanced out by the bits of white cheese. As for breakfast, I had the huevos divorciados. Both sauces were delicious and the aftermath of runny eggs made a great coating for whatever tamale you order. The refried beans taste like it had bacon grease though so vegetarians beware.
google avatar

Pier T.

Yelp
Best fresh, authentic Mexican breakfast and lunch! Tortillas are homemade. Tamales have the perfect mass and nothing is greasy. Salsas are perfect touch on any dish. Highly highly recommend this long standing place!
google avatar

Natasia M.

Yelp
I just moved to Houston from Southern California where you can find authentic tamales on every street corner so I was super disappointed that it is so hard to find a good tamale in Houston. Most places in Houston serve a Tex-Mex version of the tamale, which is smaller and just tastes completely different than a tamale should. Tamales Don Pepe is the closest thing I've had to homemade tamales back home. The chicken mole tamale in the banana leaf is amazing with a flavorful and moist masa. I've also really enjoyed the chicken enchiladas here, which is made with white meat so it tastes much healthier than most enchiladas I've had. Despite the name of the shop, their menu is pretty extensive---they don't only sell tamales but tacos, enchiladas, quesadillas, etc. The older gentleman who manages the cashier (who I suspect is the owner also) is really friendly and nice. This is my new favorite Mexican food spot. Btw, the chicken tamales in the corn husks sell out fast. I've come at 11 am on a Thursday and they were gone so do plan to come early if you want a chicken tamale.
google avatar

Carlos U.

Yelp
Great little brunch location by med center. Highly recommend for a breakfast or lunch break if your in the area. The green Chile chicken tamales are delicious and also my favorite but you have to get there as on some occasions they are all sold out. The coffee drink tastes amazing and also recommend any of the agua frescas (well maybe not the melon one). All in all, very great food place.
google avatar

Amanda M.

Yelp
"I did good." I said to my boyfriend as we were driving away from this place. Because it's true. I did good finding this better-than-good place thanks to Yelp! The owner/cashier/cook/busboy all in one is fantastic. Such a sweetheart! You can truly tell he cares about his customers and cares about delivering amazing food. We tried the chicken tamales with green sauce and the rajas con queso tamales. Both were so good. So light and fluffy. And BIG! The flavors were incredible. But watch out, the rajas is spicy. I didn't believe his warning... We also tried one of their quesadillas. The shredded beef was delicious and the tortilla definitely tasted homemade. It came with a red hot sauce which we also enjoyed. All around amazing! Come to this place! Get in your car now, and don't be fooled by the outside when you arrive.

Elsie V.

Yelp
If I could I would give this restaurant a -1 . The worst customer service.. Very racist, I came in with my family to have brunch, didn't even let us finish ordering when he started taking another customers order (white family) , we arrived first. Also the worst food! Just a quick tip "business owner, customer service is key" We did not feel safe here. I would not recommend this place unless your racist like him!
google avatar

Holly H.

Yelp
I'm so glad we came here! It's a little tucked back on a side street in a small shopping center. There were so many things we wanted to try, but they were out of a few items we wanted to order. No worries because we will be back! We tried the chicken tamale with salsa verde, tamal oaxaqueño, rajas con papa quesadillas, huitlacoche quesadilla, a huarache with beef fajita meat, and the churros con chocolate. Everything was bomb and the beef fajita meat had a really nice flavor. Also, the prices are hard to beat! I don't think anything on the menu was more than $10, most items were under $5. We left fat and happy with great anticipation of our next trip here.
google avatar

Richard J.

Yelp
Tamales Don Pepe in the Willowbend area is one of those hidden jewels that makes exploring the Houston food scene so rewarding. Tucked in a modest strip center on a street whose rough reputation has thankfully passed, Tamales Don Pepe serves up some of the finest tamales I've ever tasted. They're moist, full, and delicate, and delivered to you steaming hot. So delicious! We've also been bowled-over by the breakfast tacos, empanadas, and huaraches. The only dish that didn't win us over was the mole enchiladas, but that's on us... we're not big mole fans to begin with, so we were a tough sell. Bonus points to Tamales Don Pepe for such kind and friendly service. They are truly welcoming. So now you're in on the secret - check this place out for breakfast, brunch, or lunch!

Mel F.

Yelp

Yelp
Food was fantastic, customer service is phenomenal!! Best hometown Mexican food I've had in a long time.
google avatar

Nadia M.

Yelp
Excellent authentic Mexican food. We enjoy breakfast here, my three boys love the empanadas and tamales. I really like the huarache. They have churros, huitlacoche, flor de calabaza, tamales in banana leaf, if you really know Mexican cuisine you will really like it here. Even though is a very simple place, no luxury here, it feels clean and safe. Keep in mind the bussiness hours because opens really early and closes in the afternoon. Buen Provecho!!!
google avatar

Nicole S.

Yelp
Homemade tortillas. Nuff said right? But gotta give a food rec right? Best chilaquiles I've ever had! Didn't take a pic bc I finished them before I realized I finished them. Both times. One of my 'just go' places.
google avatar

Maren S.

Yelp
Yum yum!! Amazing, authentic red chilaquiles! The chips stayed crispy, the sauce had the perfect flavor, and the queso fresco was fresh. I am going again tomorrow, haha. Think I may try the enchiladas and a huarache. The folks next to me couldn't say enough about this place either. The staff was very friendly as well. Well done!!
google avatar

David L.

Yelp
I came here for breakfast at the recommendation of a friend. I had tamales and champurado (creamy cereal drink). It was fabulous. I highly recommend this place. Great little hidden hole in the wall. This is a Houston gem. Check out my photos.
google avatar

Crystal K.

Yelp
I came here for lunch today and the process is simple. You order at the counter and then pay when you're done. I ordered the cafe de olla, 2 tamales (vegetarian mushroom and black bean & queso) and 1 breakfast taco (scrambled egg, potato and chorizo). The cafe de olla was delicious! The hint of cinnamon adds a nice touch and taste. Tamales - I liked how fluffy the masa was, but I felt it needed more filling especially in the mushroom tamale. Breakfast taco - it was a good. But I prefer that the chorizo wasn't cooked with the egg. It's just a preference thing. The potatoes could've been a little more crispy. Overall, I enjoyed my experience everything did taste wonderful. I definitely want to come back and try the enchiladas.

Caleb M.

Yelp
Authentic, friendly, fast, affordable. Houston at its best. Those who know, know! My favorite dish is the chilaquiles with red and green sauce and queso added. And the kids can get waffles, tamales, lots of options. It's become our regular Sunday spot.
google avatar

Steffi H.

Yelp
This hole in the wall place really surprised me! From the outside, it doesn't look like much, but they make a great breakfast! Their portions are huge, and they have so many different options for breakfast for the vegetarian and nonvegetarian inclined. We got a mix of their breakfast tacos and tamales, which are each about $2 (super affordable). The breakfast tacos were great - I love how fluffy they make their eggs, fluffier than most breakfast taco places I've had before. The chorizo and egg and potato and egg tacos were my favorites, especially with their homemade salsa. The tamales, their namesake, are also delicious. I don't usually like tamales because I find them to dry, but these tamales are super good and are the perfect texture! I've now had their: chicken tamale, pork tamale, mushroom tamale, and queso tamalae. The chicken w/ green sauce tamale is probably my favorite; it's packed with flavor and plenty of protein. The queso tamale was a little underwhelming on the other hand. Definitely a great place for a hefty breakfast at cheap prices!

Yelp
Celebrating Cinco de Mayo early with a breakfast at a mom and pop restaurant at the 610/Stella Link area of town. Chilaquiles Verdes con Huevos hits the spot! I've been addicted to this breakfast ever since we came back from Mexico. It's a comfort food that warms the soul for me. We got Tamales Pollo con Salsa Verde and Oaxaquenos con Mole Negro. The Masa is excellent, finely grated and breaks apart nicely. Both Tamales are enjoyable to us. The beverages are amazing. The Cafe de Olla not only has the characteristic Cinnamon and Piloncillo, there's also a strong roasted coffee bean flavor that I love! I highly recommend the Cafe de Olla here. The Hot Chocolate is made with real cacao prepared fresh as we ordered. It's thick and rich with chocolate flavor. Sweet but excellent flavor and quality. What a blessed and lovely day to slowly enjoy a morning breakfast with loved one. I don't take any of this for granted at all. Happy Cinco de Mayo, and may you Sunday be wonderful too!

Kingsley N.

Yelp
Man y'all where do I even start about this place, the experience was great! I got the quesadillas and tamales. The quesadilla was cheesy and amazing! The tamales where by far the best tamales I've had. The service was great and the food came in a timely manner. I would definitely come back to this place again and I would recommend this restaurant to anybody.

Yelp
Finallly came back to eat this delicious food!!!! First time for my girls!! Absolutely loved the sopes, huevos divorciados, & i had the green chilaquiles!!!

Yelp
Been wanting to try this place out. I ordered the chilaquiles with carne and 2 eggs in salsa verde. I also had a tamale verde de puerco. The food was ok it wasn't bad, but it did lack more of an authentic Mexican flavor. The chilaquiles were not spicy and the tamale was a bit dry. Coffee was good and hot. I'm giving it 3 stars not because of the food but the customer service. The man who attended was nice and spoke proper Spanish not slang which is rare nowadays. A lot of time I will go back eat food at a place where the food isn't the best and is not the worst just because the service is good. This is one of those places.

Yelp
This place was a great find! The tamales really were hit or miss, so I won't say it's perfect. The pork tamales really did have a lot of masa and less meat like the other reviews suggest, BUT the chicken tamales were filled! The green salsa isn't as spicy as I hoped, but it had a nice flavor. I also recommend checking out other items if tamales aren't your speed (but then again, "tamales" is in their name!) The enchilada plate was great, but they could have used more sauce. Looking forward to coming back and checking out their breakfast tacos!
