Tried their $5 for half a pita sandwich deal ! It's pretty big ! And tasty ! Was like $5.45 with tax for the Sabich sandwich which is crispy eggplant but they also gave me an extra slice of eggplant on the side . Crispy and good ! You can fill anything you want in the sandwich for topping such as warm chickpeas or tomato and cucumber and many other toppings and sauces including a green hot sauce . All good and fresh . Side note - the pita they use here is fluffy and substantial as opposed to that thin pita that Mamoun falafel on St Mark's uses (for me that always ruined their falafel sandwich for me !. Their pita was paper thin ) but this pita is fluffy and good. In my opinion this place is way better . If you only have 5 bucks definitely try this place rather than McDonald's or something. It's right next to Joe's pizza on 14th street .

A unique find amongst all of the popular nyc food spots. A vegan eatery with plant based pita wraps and bowls. The ingredients are super fresh, tasty, and you have so many different options to choose from in order to customize. The falafel was crispy but also moist and soft on the inside. Overall service was great and would recommend for anyone looking for a quick delicious bite.

Why hadn’t I tried this place before?? I pass it all the time but only popped in today. I got the cauliflower hummus bowl and added falafel- and oh my gosh!! It was delicious & so fresh! The hummus was creamy, the falafel wasn’t dry, and the cauliflower was perfectly cooked- all around a win. Great spot for vegetarian and vegan options! The staff was really friendly and fast!

Everything was so fresh and tasty. I got the Falafel Platter. The falafel light and crisp and very reminiscent to one I tried in Jerusalem, the hummus was really smooth and creamy. Lovely mix of picked vegetables and salad. Will have to try the Sabbich or Cauliflower next time!

First Customer!!! Tamam UnionSquare just opened today. The manager was super friendly and offering falafel samples to passers by. I ordered the pita sandwich, and it was very good, lots of options for additional fixings. Much higher quality than Maoz falafel which closed last year a few blocks away. Welcome to the neighborhood!

One of the best fast casual lunch stops in the city. The staff is very friendly, and the food is much fresher than their comps. I go out of my way to get lunch at this spot. 10/10

One of the best falafel 🥙 pita sandwich I have had I really enjoyed it. They have a special now that you can buy a half pita either you choices are crispy cauliflower or eggplant and falafel . Next time I'm getting a whole pita sandwich . So yummy . 😋😋😋😋
