The Best Restaurants In Dublin - Dublin - The Infatuation

"Around 1pm on any given day you’ll notice an orderly line snaking around Dawson Street onto St. Stephen’s Green. Not for an album signing, or a trendy pop-up, but for a bulging shawarma that’s worth waiting for. The Middle Eastern cafe has a few locations around town, and while this one is set up for the hungry worker, it’s also a great fix for all the nearby hotels. Forearm-sized wraps and bursting salad boxes are filled with aromatically spiced pulled chicken, lamb, or beans, and a rainbow of vegetables. It’s first-come-first-served on seats, but it moves quickly and you’ve got a beautiful park right across the road too. Tang’s Cumberland Place location is also open for dinner." - daisy meager, jake missing, ciera velarde

The 38 Essential Dublin Restaurants

"With sustainability and carefully sourced produce at its heart, Stephen O’Dwyer’s small, daytime cafe is a popular spot for brunch or lunch. The menu is chalked on a blackboard, and you can see the bowls of beautiful salad, beetroot hummus, and tzatziki as you queue to order. The biggest decision: whether to get all this goodness in a bowl or wrapped in a flatbread." - Corinna Hardgrave

Perfect place for a spontaneous breakfast. The staff was great and the food was delicious! Cute atmosphere. We arrived right at opening and we were lucky to get a seat. Would definitely eat here again. It’s in a great location for a stroll through Stephen’s Green across the street too.

Loved this place! The staff is lovely, the food is incredible and vegan/gluten-free friendly. It was full but 2 lovely people allowed us to sit with them at their table and we talked with them over the food! They also serve Palestine Cola, so even better! They deserve a visit if you like anything vegan/gluten-feee/middle-eastern cuisine!

Speechless. Mind blowing. I literally have no words to describe it. Starting with the service, everyone so nice and happy. They work really fast and clean. The place is so nice, right in the corner, sunny, has a bathroom and enough space to seat and eat. The food is amazing. The famous wrap with humus and lab is sooo good. Coffee and dates are also so tasty. If you are a salad lover, you gotta try their salad with just plan humus. The soup and bread are also worth trying. It is always full of people but the line goes fast, so don’t be scared if you see a long line, you will get your food quickly.

We’ve had breakfast here both days that we spent in Dublin this time. The food is so good! I would love to come back to Dublin just for the mushroom and egg sourdough bread.

Healthy lunch option. Salad and wraps available. Three daily salads which you get a scoop of each of plus hummus. Additional protein available, like chicken or crispy chickpeas or really good focaccia. Coffee and pastries also available. One of the salads was a bit soggy/overdressed to the point it wasn’t edible.

You might have to wait to be seated, but it is worth the wait! Their pastries are the freshest. Although it is a very small shop, it has the best babka, brownies, and coffee we've had. We just had to go back. This time it was for their soup. We strongly recommend you pay them a visit.

What a wonderful breakfast spot. We got there and it was busy, but the host got us situated by the flower bed in a makeshift spot to get us started. We ended up liking it and staying by the bees and flowers. Quick service with great food. All the hot drinks were delicious (dirty chai, mocha, and teas). Pricing and taste were so much better than a usual breakfast chain.

What a fun place! The servers were so accommodating and nice, food was delicious, and the space is minimal but just aesthetic enough. As other reviewers have mentioned, the space is a bit small but a short wait for good food and good vibes. The servers do a good job of making sure you have what you need + provide you with a whole bottle of self-serve water to drink. I ordered the shakshuka with chorizo and it was so good! less tomato-y, more of a chili flavor with a scoop of tzatziki sauce on the top. You don’t get sick of the flavor because the whole dish is dynamic depending on what part of the pan you’re scooping from. After you’re done, flag the waiter and you can pay right at your seat. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a unique and flavorful brunch spot!
