"Parking at the mini-mall that contains Tian Jin Bistro (itself a barely-there hole-in-the-wall) can be harrowing on the weekends, but once inside, one is rewarded with one of the best zhajiangmians in town. Deep, nutty and sweet flavors of the fermented soybean sauce are unlocked further with bites of fresh julienned carrot and cucumber, and the firm bite of the handmade noodles are a nice finishing touch." - Euno Lee

The Onion Oil Flavor Chicken is the most popular chicken here with a secretive sauce. The chicken is tender.

Not bad, like boneless chicken hands.

The chicken they have is good, but when customers come in to order, there aren't a lot of space for them to wait for their orders

Could hear people talking in the kitchen, but no one in the front or came out to greet or help for over 15 mins

This is $28 dollars for take out. I am not pay for half pound of soy sauce and vinegar. Never buy it again.

Yelp
Wildly addicting, even for someone like me who doesn't handle mala spice well. You get quite a lot of chicken feet per order, and the added bonus is that there are few bones to deal with! Takeout only. Parking in this plaza is always a pain to deal with.

Avocado A.

Yelp
The Sichuan servant very impatient, they put less chicken feet but more pork inside to instead of chicken feet that's not fair to customers

Yelp
Picked up some to go after work and been wanting to try this place. Ordered the Szechuan pepper chicken and the spring onion boneless chicken feet. I ordered mild spicy and the heat was still intense but very delicious. It pairs well with white rice. The boneless chicken feet was pricy, it is charged by the pound. For 1 Lb it was $25.99 . I will be back to try their boneless chicken feet.

Yelp
I ordered a few items for take out Tuesday around 11:30am. When I arrived the store, there was only one staff, whom was in the phone taking care of personal business despite seeing me walked into the store and waiting to place an order. She continued to speak on the phone for a few more minutes after I walked in. There was one other costumer that was there talking on the phone with her order in the table inside the store. The store was small, I had to use the restroom, and it was located inside the kitchen. I don't know how in the world the health department would passed the inspection!! After seeing the kitchen and restroom, I've already decided this would be my first and last visit. When the staff finished taking care of her personal business, she was actually very friendly, patient, and helpful. After I placed my order, two more staff came into the store and started making my order. I order a couple pounds of spicy bones less chicken feet and a couple pounds of ginger and onion flavor boneless chicken feet @25.99/lb. In addition, I ordered a couple pounds of assorted beef @15.99/lb I think When I got home, I tried the ginger onion flavor chicken feet. I was quite disappointed. First of all, they are not entirely boneless, secondly, some of the chicken feet smelled and tasted like it was old, one can tell it's not fresh. Maybe my expectations were high, so I was disappointed at this place and for the pricy $26/lb of chicken feet that others are raving about. As for its taste, it was pretty good, so I gave them a 3 star for that. They make their sauces for the chicken feet in front of you with four of the flavor options to chose from. After they mix the sauce in a big container, they tossed in the chicken feet and mix them for flavoring. In summary, there are so many options in this area for Asian food, for $26 a pound of chicken feet, I would rather pay for a crab or lobster in the future.

Yelp
This is definitely my NO. 1 spicy seafood of the Chinese "Lao Zhi" The owner is from Qingdao city, Shandong (Province) China. It's a city near the sea where they are abundant in seafood. It used to be colonized by German and Russia so most of the cuisine is diverse and of etiquette flavor. Their dishes are basically the mix of Szechuan and Shandong cuisines. I highly recommend to try the series of "Spicy Seafood" every item is worth trying! This time, I ordered their signature "chili pepper chicken" and again, I was totally impressed about the sauce. Interior seating - The items here are more like appetizers or combination. It's more appropriate to order take-outs and enjoy them at home. Clean and simple decoration indoors. The owner and staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. They know what they are doing!

Yelp
Wowza! This place is flavorful and definitely not for the faint at heart. I say that because not everyone eats chicken feet, tendons, or pickled seafood. I must say my favorite item from this restaurant is their marinated Japanese spicy scallops. (A++). It's amazing over rice and furikake. The other items I ordered: Onion Oil Flavor half chicken- Moist, tender, and bursting with sauce (A+) Chicken Paw with pickled pepper- Deboned for you and ready to bite into all the gelatinous goodness (A+) Honey Comb Tripe (A) - tender and tasty unlike some dim sum places that make it hard Dried bean curd (A) - this is amazing in congee and the curds are pre marinated so the flavors really seep in. Black fungus mushrooms (A) - also great over rice or congee. Full bodied flavors and the mushrooms even have a crunch to them. I'm all about textures and these are fun to eat! Potato Slices (A) - I've never had potatoes done this way but they look like Ruffles but are savory. This needs to be eaten fresh when you get them or they become flat the next day. Try it! It's differently a different take on potatoes! I've not eaten here in person only takeout thru Uber. They always get my order correct and they use recyclable boxes.

Yelp
How have I never reviewed Tao's Kitchen?? All I can say is CHICKEN FEET, CHICKEN FEET, CHICKEN FEET!!!! I was introduced to TK by a friend years ago and when we are in the area, we make sure to stop by and order their boneless chicken feet. I'm not a big fan of mala but it's not as overpowering when they mix it with their marinades. They add peanuts and cilantro inside which makes it even better. You can choose your level of spice too. They have other options such as scallop, octopus, pig's ear, tripe, etc. I've tried a good amount of everything here including their veggies that you can mix into your order. Yes, it's a bit on the pricier side per lb, but we'd be more devasted if TK closed down altogether. Also goes great with beer :p

Stephanie C.

Yelp
I would call this place an Asian poke place. They basically have all the meat cooked in some form of brine. Then, once you're there, they will ask you which combination. They'll add up all the ingredients into a bowl, mix it up and pass it on to you. The chicken and chicken paws are really good. We grab a few boxes to go and enjoyed it with a bottle of beer at home. Worth it if you're into these spicy meat mixes.

Yelp

Yelp
Who hire the poker face cashier??? No service, actually, she didn't even take a look on me, like I am the air. The food may be ok, but definitely won't be there for the service:))))

Yelp
Numbing spices, here we go! The spicy flavor special chicken was tender and flavorful. The slices of chicken is chopped to half inch to an inch in width, smaller than the yellow chicken pieces from Chinese restaurants. This pairs well with white rice. The beef assorted makes for a great side to your meal! It has slices of pork ear and honeycomb tripe that's been marinated in their spicy mixture. Both were tasty and the mild spicy was enough for me since I can't handle the numbing mala spice that well. It is pretty pricey though but.. family style?

Stella Y.

Yelp
Came here because Fung bros did a video on spicy Chinese food crawl (specifically Szechuan spice, the numbing mala flavor) and it did not disappoint. We got the half mala chicken and the half pound boneless chicken feet with the lime spicy sauce. We got their medium heat and it was very manageable. Even for my husband who doesn't normally eat really spicy . So If you can stand the heat I would recommend their hottest level. Both flavors were different and I like both. But my husband didn't care for the one with the lime - only because he didn't care for the citrus taste. I'm glad they are generous with their sauce because I could definitely use the leftover to cook something at home

S C.

Yelp
This place looks very unassuming, but the food is wow. Their menu is much pricier than what I normally would.pay for these dishes but I was really really surprised at how delicious everything was. They mix the sauces on the spot, it's amazing. And the flavor is strong and meats are really fresh. I will definitely go back. The price is high, but every dish was good and you could taste the quality.

Yelp
Honestly so glad my friend introduced us to this place! We drove all the way from Anaheim and I'm actually starting this review while sitting down at the restaurant! We ordered a half pound of boneless chicken feet (paw is what they call it) and chicken. The chicken feet were spicy flavor and the chicken was Szechuan flavor. The best part about the chicken feet is that it's all chicken feet goodness without the hassle and work of spitting out bones! The spicy flavor was reallyyyy good. The chicken was also really good! My girlfriend and I normally don't like Szechuan because of the tingling sensation, but it's subtle enough and the flavors make it worth it. The chicken is cut and prepared at the shop too! We were also given a little sample of a new flavor they're testing, I think it was pickled pepper? It was also really good too! All the flavors were so bright, fresh, and well, flavorful! The food is also really photogenic if you like to snap pics of your food. They don't skimp on the sauce either, so every bite you take is just bursting with flavor. I'm assuming the lady who helped us today is the owner, but she was really nice and helpful the entire time! It's a bit far for us, but I'm already looking forward to our next visit!

Steve P.

Yelp
Tried their spicy chicken and spicy scallops and it's very quick n tasty. The spicy scallops is a really good deal..About $20 with cash...its served cold in a glass jar so gp home and fry it a bit is best.

Vivian L.

Yelp
My first time having boneless chicken feet. So good. I got the spicy flavor boneless chicken feet; it was perfectly flavored. This place is hidden in the corner of a small plaza next door to a Yi Fang. It was on the pricier side around $20 something but totally worth it. Would definitely recommend this place. I believe it is sold by weight.

Rain J.

Yelp
*Rip off* Stay away from this place* $22.50 +tax for one box of Chicken feet? I expect it to be really good! ! Let's try! Hmmm... Hmmm... I don't think it's worthy. $5 maximum. Stay away from this place.

Sherry R.

Yelp
The chicken feet is the best I ever had! And the front girl is very nice and patient!

Brian H.

Yelp
We had a to go order of the cold plate beef and octopus. We ordered a mild for the octopus but honestly it was HOT. Okay okay- maybe not HOT; honestly was a solid medium for Taiwanese it Szechuan food. Flavor, taste, and the Ma La spice in both dishes were ! Kinda pricey but food quality is really good!!! Will definitely be coming back for small dish to go orders . Also, the packaging for the octopus was really handy for taking it home also!

Hi T.

Yelp
Delicious Boneless chicken feet. You can even get this to drink with couple of friends. Let's cheer.

Mia C.

Yelp
The price are reasonable. The food can be costumized until you satisfied. I highly recommended the chicken feet (no hones). The service is great as well. It is my third time visiting the shop. You can also order some rice from them. 吮指鸡爪,我喜欢藤椒味的。其他的也都很好吃。你选喜欢的食材,让他们给你拌。

Sela W.

Yelp
The chicken is amazing here. The meat is like the cage free chicken meat. Definitely recommend these as side dishes to your whole meal! They can change the spiciness of the dish depending On your preference.

Annie N.

Yelp
Bomb side foods that goes well with rice. I crave the spicy boneless chicken feet when I know I'll be drinking. It pairs well especially with beer. It's great drinking food. I'm glad my cousins introduced me to this place when we were drinking one night and didn't know what to eat. Now my go to spot!!!

Jason B.

Yelp
The Fung Bros created a video reviewing Tao's kitchen. They praised the restaurant heavily, which gave me the urge to try it. I can truly say that Tao's Kitchen offers authentic Szechuan Chinese food. Their numbing mala flavor did not disappoint! I ordered the mala chicken feet, along with the lime spicy sauce chicken. Both dishes were 10/10 but the mala flavor was way better than the lime spicy sauce. They are both worth the try. Although the prices are not cheap, Tao's Kitchen offers one of the most authentic Szechuan flavors compared to any other Chinese restaurant I have been to. This place is a MUST TRY.

Maximus Ho C.

Yelp
Wow, this sour n spicy pepper corn flavor is amazing. Got the boneless chicken feet, black fungus, tripe. O M G it's numbing hot and amazing. Not sure what kind of cocaine they put in there but I can't stop eating it. Perfect with an ice cold Corona. I Keep going back for my weekly dose. A must try

Beiqi L.

Yelp
My friend recommended me to this place and I also saw it on RED so I decided to give it a try. I tried the beef assorted, boneless chicken paw and Szechuan pepper chicken. All of them were so good. The flavor soaked into all the food really well and they're so convenient to eat. The only down side is that they're pretty expensive.Boneless Chicken Legs

Judith W.

Yelp
I love their boneless Chickenfeet and their veggie dish! All dishes are made with great quality ingredient. I'll be ordering more in the future!

Judith W.

Yelp
Its a bit pricy but the flavor is amazing! Its pretty spicy too. Perfect cold dish or appetizer.

Cathy W.

Yelp
Bad experience, ordered Spicy flavored chicken and Szechwan Pepper flavored chicken paw on Gesoo (order attached) and both of the orders were delivered WRONGLY. The order delivered were Spicy Lemon Chicken and regular Spicy flavored chicken paw. Should the business check their order before giving the food to the driver?

Zoe S.

Yelp
The lor mei fan is delicious and service was excellent! Definitely recommend coming here!

April H.

Yelp
This place is one of the best cold chicken places in LA. And you can pick your own customized cold dishes. During COVID time, some restaurants' to go food quality is not consistent, but not this place. I'm always happy with the quality of their chicken.

Lindsay H.

Yelp
Wow, the boneless chicken legs is really bomb. I always get it with the super spicy sauce.

S X.

Yelp
So addicting, full of flavors and light oil! I ordered half pound to try and it was amazing!

Châu C.

Yelp
This place is amazing! THE FOOD SUPPOSED TO BE COLD!! And it's marinated on the spot and you get so many options like boiled chicken, chicken feet bone in and out, stomach, ears etc. I like al their flavors so anything is a good pick

Yunes L.

Yelp
spicy favor Isdelicious. Love that kitchen. It also have other chose of favor. Good to try.

Becca P.

Yelp
Their spicy favor chicken is a must. I really recommend it. The store is clean, the people work here are nice.

Emily D.

Yelp
The flavor was plain unlike the most of spicy food. They have very limited items , and all taste the same . The customer service was not great , the women had the attitude. I will not go back there again

雪庭

Yelp
Tasty is good! Recommend by friends and love the chicken feet. Would like to come again.

Cream X.

Yelp
Was looking for spicy and numbing food to fill my cravings. I ordered some Vegas, half a chicken, and chicken feet. Very delicious except super hot was less than what I expect of super hot. Not a lot of reviews but definitely a place for spicy food lovers.
