"Tim Spinner has been involved in several Mexican restaurants in Philly, from El Vez to Distrito to Cantina Feliz. At his vibrant Taqueria Amor in Manayunk, the chef serves Enseñada-style fish tacos filled with tempura-battered tilapia, Carolina barbecue shrimp tacos with a sweet chile sauce, and even Korean barbecue broccoli tacos with kimchi. If you’re feeling less adventurous, classics like chicken tinga never miss." - Maddy Sweitzer-Lamme

Taqueria Amor - Review - Manayunk - Philadelphia - The Infatuation

"Pitchers of sangria and margaritas on Manayunk's Taqueria Amor’s roomy patio can go a long way towards unwinding from a busy day. And with all of the tacos discounted at the Mexican spot, you can choose between everything from blackened mahi mahi to plant-based options like cauliflower tacos topped with a red chile garbanzo puree." - Candis R. 🏆 Best of Manayunk! This festive spot is a Manayunk classic for happy hour, date night, girls night, you name it. I’ve always had incredible service when I’ve come. Food: 3 Service: 5 (always a great experience!!) Highlights: - Outdoor seating is dog friendly! - Fun bar scene and interesting drinks - Festive, dark interior! Good for dates when you don’t want to see their face. - Chips and salsa/guac are great snacks Notes: - The food is only “ok”. Not the best Mexican food I’ve ever had but it gets the job done. Come for the drinks and vibes!

The food is very good here. Depending on the day parking can be tricky. You definitely have to pay for parking majority of the time. The servers are very nice, however, whenever you are ready to pay the check, they will be nowhere to be found. The food is flavorful, and the drinks are very good. This is a place I would return multiple times. It’s a mix crowd, but majority white. However, it is very welcoming still.

Google
Taqueria Amor has the best themes in Manayunk in my opinion. We came for Shark week and the drinks were super cute, and the happy hour deals for the tacos were great! In my opinion - They do not cheap out on the liquor, just because you don’t taste it, does not mean it’s not there!!! The servers and the bartenders are super nice and have great recommendations.

Google
The ambiance was well decorated. I've seen this place on Instagram and wanted to go for a long time. The food was great. We were there for the alcohol, lol. The servers were great. The drinks were beautifully crafted.

We visited on Sunday(7/6/2025) around 1pm. Very very friendly and attentive staff. The indoor decoration is pretty cool. The food is awesome - try the breakfast burrito or brisket tacos (you can choose between corn tortillas and rice bowl for their tacos). Highly recommended for anybody visiting Manayunk. Pictured: brisket tacos (rice bowl), breakfast burrito, restaurant interior.

This is the restaurant we ended up going to at the end of our walk from the trail earlier. I’ve been past this restaurant quite a few times just never had a chance to come in. What a nice place great upbeat atmosphere nice people I will post a menu in the pictures all way though it may not be the best quality, photo or video I tried. Nevertheless the food was fantastic. The black bean soup was spot on a nice balance between beans, broth, spice, and the cilantro. I opted out of the sour cream because I don’t do dairy. We decided to order the cauliflower taco made it vegan just by omitting the dressing and opted in for a lemon vinaigrette, the taco consisted of cauliflower, red chili, garbanzo, bean purée, avocado, cucumber, tomatoes, normally served with honey lime yogurt, dressing This was freshly done from scratch. This was without a doubt as one of the best tacos that I’ve had as was the next taco, I’m about to tell you about , We also ordered a Korean barbecue broccoli taco, this taco consisted of the broccoli, kimchi, black bean purée and a sambal vinaigrette, you could literally just taste the freshness of how these were put together, including both vinaigrettes. I would say this is quite a surprise, but our city just has some of the best restaurants there are, and this one between the service and the food was exceptional. All this and they had lunch specials that were reasonably priced at 1295 you get a choice of two soups or a couple of great salads and then your entrée that’s a heck of a value in this economy and it’s greatly appreciated, I highly recommend going here for good food, nice people and a nice atmosphere and it has value to it.

Google
Good vibes & great food . Chicken tortilla soup is top tier. Servers were on point. Drinks were delish and worth every penny. Highly recommend if you’re in the mood for good mexican food.

Google
Quinn was great. He was brilliant. Although our server was not Zack but he kept asking us what we may need like three times. So he deserves a grand thank you! I loved the crew! Me and my fiance had a great time. I ordered Fajitas and my fiance ordered Chipotle Bowl. It was great. I highly recommend. The Christmas decorations made the ambience very sweet. The food is incredibly delicious so is the service!

Yelp
How have I never written a review of the Taqueria?? This has been another one of my go-to places in Manayunk for over 10 years! Love taking visitors here too! I don't think I've ever had anything I didn't love from Taqueria! I typically get some sort of tacos and am also a huge fan of their elote and queso fundido! I love that they offer the taco bowl options because I will typically get that if I'm doing delivery, but will do taco tacos if I'm dining in. Their drink list is always phenomenal, the Three Chili Marg is my favorite marg in all of Philly! They do super fun popups all the time with special food and drink menus. I love that they always have something new and fun going on! Recently went to the Beetlejuice popup and Senor Grinch is always a MUST STOP during the holiday season! I do miss some of the offerings that they used to have when they were Feliz (chicken skin tacoooossss!!) and my one wish is that they offered tacos by the singles so you can mix and match. But this is def one of the best neighborhood Yunk establishments there is!

Yelp
As you can see from the photos, we devoured our food. We got the nachos, black bean soup, and street corn. I'd recommend every single one of these! This was my first time eating inside and I was blown away by the decor. They have lights, fun trinkets, and a projector playing Christmas movie clips. I think it's worth it to try and go before all the holiday decor is taken down. I took a star off since this place is quite pricy. These nachos are huge, but the entrees are, in my opinion, too expensive for their size. And if you plan to drink, be prepared to pay premium prices. We decided to share appetizers to save some money this time and I think that's the way to go to not drop $50+ on a meal for two.

Yelp
I decided to come here with friends to see their Beetlejuice Halloween decorations and get some food and drinks. Drinks were pretty decent. I got a passion fruit frozen margarita which I was excited about. Another place I went to before always had it on the menu but never actually had it. It was good. We had some other specialty Halloween drinks too which were good as well. I got the seafood enchilada as my meal which I enjoyed. I'm iffy about ordering seafood items at Mexican restaurants because sometimes they're too fishy tasting or it doesn't go together well with the toppings. This was good though, had nice chucks of seafood, it tasted fresh , didn't have that nasty filler in it that places sometimes use. The sauce on top was good too. I liked my husband's barria tacos was well. The Mexican street corn was good but a little on the spicy side for me. I'm considering coming back for Christmas for their grinch theme because I love The Grinch. Maybe we will if they offer new or seasonal items .

Yelp
Came for an impromptu dinner & glad we did! I had the taco bowl, which came on a bed of rice and it was delicious! The flavors were hitting & the portion was so big that I ate about half the serving and it still didn't make a dent in the bowl. I like that they have a number of non-alcoholic options available, even for their seasonal drinks. They will have the Halloween decorations up through the holiday and then switch over to Christmas decorations in mid-November.

Yelp
Stopped in last night to have dinner for my 12 year old's birthday. The staff were friendly and helpful. This is one of the most festive and creatively decorated restaurants I've seen in quite some time, possibly ever. We were a party of 4 and were seated as soon as our 4th arrived. There were so many festive drinks on the menu! The mule was good, but a little on the sweet side. We got the taquitos, steak bowl, brisket bowl, chicken tinga bowl, and tres leches cake. Everything was flavorful and the portions were decent. Taqueria Amor happens to be a stop on the Jolly Trolley, so we hopped on there afterwards for a ride.

Yelp
I had a wonderful day here at taco Tuesday! It's $3 off all tacos and enchiladas on Tuesdays. The ambiance there is really nice. I love the eclectic style! The service was impeccable. The food was pretty good my favorite dish was the plantains they were delicious

Yelp
This is the best restaurant on Main Street in Manayunk Philadelphia! If you want an exceptional experience and delicious food, this is the place! It's a special place with the best food and the nicest people! Server Shayna is the best and the sweetest server we've ever met! She is very thoughtful and attentive! We are definitely coming back! You should definitely check out this place! You will be very happy 100%!

Yelp
I wound up back in town for a small music festival at Venice Island, and this was the first place I came to. I ordered a shrimp quesadilla and a side of esquites, as well as a couple drinks. Both the quesadilla and esquites were larger than I thought they'd be. Usually when I order a side of esquites, it's only a few spoonfuls worth, but this was a fairly large bowl. Very good, though. It was cheesy and creamy and sweet with just a little spice. A good balance of flavors, and I really enjoyed it. The shrimp quesadilla was also really good. Lots of shrimp and a good amount of cheese. The habanero crema was a *little* too spicy for me, but it was good, too. The only downside to the food was that I couldn't finish it all and wasn't able to take the leftovers with me since I was heading to the festival right after, but I'm sure they would have been really good leftovers if I had been able to take them with! The drinks were also tasty. I got the mango habenero margarita and the spinarita (sangria and frozen margarita swirl. I didn't think the mango habenero margarita had much of a kick, but it *was* good. And the spinarita was delicious - I liked the blanace of the sweetness of the sangria and the sourness of the margarita. Outside of the food/drinks, service was once again top notch. My server (I believe he said his name was Peter) was very attentive and checked in the perfect amount. The rest of the staff was very friendly, too. Overall, I really enjoy Taqueria Amor, and I highly recommend it. If I were a local, this would for sure be one of my go-to spots!

Yelp
You may think the food quality would lack because of the gimmick. BUT NOPE. From hosts to servers everyone was so nice and made sure we were comfortable at all times. The theme was so cute and made for a fun background during convo.

Yelp
Taqueria Amor is one of my favorite spots in Manayunk! The ambiance is always so amazing and festive for every season. The food is always great and the staff is wonderful. You cannot beat the Pick Dos Lunch Combo. It is a great deal, and so is the Amor Margarita lunch special! Some of my favorite menu items include the carnitas tacos, the cauliflower tacos, tinga tacos, and the guac. All of the food is delicious, but my one go to that I absolutely have to have every time is the Tortilla soup. Don't pass it up! The drinks are always excellent, and they always have awesome seasonal cocktails. Definitely check it out.
google avatar

Kellie R.

Yelp
The best Mexican food in the area! Nachos are to dieeee for but if you can't handle spice, I suggest you ask the for sauce on the side. The service is great and so much of the team are longstanding which to me means, great oversight and a fair treatment of employees! Additionally, they frequently have themes i.e. Barbie, Taylor Swifft, Stranger things, Christmas etc. We went last week and the beetlejuice decor and drink specials were super fun!
google avatar

Yelp
The staff is incredibly kind and good at their jobs but the food was quite lackluster. They don't have any sort of cheese dip which honestly threw the whole visit off for me. My friend and I went to catch up over margs and queso and not having queso just feels wrong. Next to salsa (which my friend kept saying tasted like pizza sauce) guac, and our margs, we really could've used some cheese dip to cut through all the acidity. I got a shrimp quesadilla and was pretty underwhelmed. Nothing was inherently wrong with it but it wasn't very flavorful and didn't have much of a wow factor. Felt like I could've made it at home with the exclusion of the sauce. We sat outside in their little street booths which are honestly very fun and cute so I did really enjoy that. Overall, good staff and atmosphere but some odd menu choices and not the best/most flavorful food.

Yelp
I'ma native Californian, so I've been warned about the Mexican food in Philadelphia... the people saying such things are snobs. Taqueria Amor was a solid first experience, but by no means perfect. Each region will have its own take on food, and that's not a bad thing. It's not TexMex, authentic Mexican, not Cali fresh style. But it IS delicious, like most of the food in this amazing city. Burritos are only available on Mondays, so I took advantage of the timing to try the carnitas burrito for $13. The meat was good quality and flavorful, but it lacked that "fall apart in your mouth delicious" quality that I've come to love. The burrito came with avocado, black beans, romaine lettuce, tomato, and Mexican rice. The price was high for the portion size, which I was expecting. No complimentary chips and salsa, no band, no abuela expertly hand-crafting tortillas, either. Now that the bad is out of the way, I want to focus on what they did right. Fun Goonies themed decor and bright colors, big open spaces with lots of seating indoors and out, a full bar, and the staff were total sweethearts. I requested tapatio, which they didn't have. The server did bring me a variety of salsas and a bottle of valentines. The habanero sauce was spicy enough to satisfy my craving for heat, and the burrito was just big enough to not leave me hungry. The location in downtown Manayunk is cute, convenient, and safe. There are a ton of cute shops nearby so you can take a stroll after the meal or walk along the Schuylkill. This was a pretty good experience and I have to say, "hey man, nice shot" to the owners. Worth a visit, for sure.

Yelp
Came here after shopping at Expect Lace. They partnered for an Expect Lace margarita to celebrate their 6th anniversary. The margarita was so good (blood orange topped with Prosecco). We were seated right away and our server was great...good energy, attentive and friendly. While we just came for the margaritas, I ended up getting the mahi mahi bowl which was good too. If you're in the area, I'd recommend dropping in.

Yelp
Maybe I just chose the wrong thing because the Birria (their special for the day) didn't meet my expectations. It was sorely lacking in flavor and i found myself opening the taco, pouring in consommé until my plate flooded and that still didn't help. More seasoning was needed, no way around it. Server dropped our food off and we didn't see her again until our food was gone. Decor was super cute though.

Yelp
Great food great service Shay was a pleasure will be coming back in the future. The drinks were great Also

Yelp
Food is great, drinks are great, service is good, downfall is no reservations and it gets packed. Ambiance is the reason why you come here though, for the themed pop ups during seasons. Christmas is the best.
google avatar

Yelp
Excellent and *huge* tacos. I had the Tingas and the mango habañaero margarita with the spicy salt. Taqueria was park of my Manayunk starter pack -- my next trip back will be during the week for happy hour.
google avatar

Amanda J.

Yelp
The service was excellent- speedy and friendly! We ate outside which was hot- but nice that it had shade. The traditional guac is simple, refreshing, and a fair serving size. The fajita sampler is plenty of food for two people to share. Everything was good, the only thing I didn't like was the grilled chives/spring onion that was basically impossible to cut or bite out of a taco. I wish I had asked for the queso on the side but that is more personal preference! We also appreciated that gratuity was included on all bills over $75 and that it was kindly pointed out to us by the waitress. Would go back again if I am in the area, but food was not anything to run back to IMO.
google avatar

Sarita M.

Yelp
This place has a fun atmosphere, interesting music and colors. I love the indoor/outdoor atmosphere - feels great on a summer afternoon. The drinks are a little pricey (even at happy hour) but strong and tasty - I was very satisfied with my mango habanero pitcher. The food was great, decent sized portions - service was quick and servers were really approachable. My only criticism is if you're going expecting a great happy hour deal, this isn't the place...$2 or $3 off here and there for already $$$ drinks. otherwise come and enjoy yourself.

Yelp
Everything about Taqueria Amor was delightful, and if I lived in the area this would 100% be my go to spot. The drinks (specially themed for the release of Taylor Swifts album!) were AMAZING. They were $12.50 each, but so worth it and delicious. The pork carnitas tacos and fish tacos were equally phenomenal, the flavor was amazing and they were both good portions. We also had a side of chips and salsa which is $6.95 for two (very good) types of salsa and a huge bowl of chips. The interior was adorable but we ate outside. Bathrooms are located indoors which was nice too. Everyone from the hostess to food runners to our server was incredibly kind. Our total for two special cocktails, chips and salsa, two orders of tacos, and an INCREDIBLE tres leches cake slice was $77.00. Incredibly well priced for the amazing service, atmosphere, and quality!

Yelp
Holiday themed ambiance - A++ Service - A++ Crab Rangoon Dip - A++ Margarita pitcher without ice - A++ Went in for lunch and were warned about a strict 90 minute time limit. Holiday decor was super cute! I hope the overhead string lights change color and can be kept up year round. We ordered a lunch special pitcher of margaritas. It came in a bottle without ice poured over glasses with ice - fantastic! We got crab Rangoon to share from the holiday menu and it was unbelievable. I hope it will make it into the regular menu and stay beyond the holidays, as well. For entree we had the taco lunch special ($2 off tacos). We got the fish Ensenada tacos and pork Al pastor tacos - both were okay (pork was...chewy). Overall, we had a great holiday late lunch and I look forward to coming back to try more.

Yelp
It was a great mexican restaurant in a great neighborhood. I had a tough time looking for parking at first, but i managed to find one on the street, but walking up further after parking, looked like there were several lots towards the river and the bridge where youre able to park your car and there were a lot of spots available. They had also an abundance of outdoor seating. It was super windy that day, so sadly we couldnt sit outside. The host was really funny too, "Sorry, we only had outside seating." HAHA We got a laugh out of that. really put us in a good mood. Will was our server and he was very attentive to me and my friend's needs. Their Nachos De La Casa was so filling and the portion was very fair for the price. We just did their Lunch combo of soup and tacos and this giant appetizer and we were satisfied.
google avatar

Patrice M.

Yelp
I visited this place with a group of friends. I came here because I was really craving Elote (Mexican street corn). I didn't have high expectations, but I hoped it would be decent enough to enjoy. Unfortunately, it seemed like the corn was from a can with some cheese and chili powder sprinkled on top. The flavor was not there, and the corn was overcooked, leaving a disappointing mushy and watery texture. After that, I didn't want anything else to eat, although the tortilla chips were good. The overall atmosphere was nice, but it was really loud, which didn't bother me too much. I will mention that the happy hour here is pretty early compared to most, so just be aware of that if you plan to come here for happy hour. The drinks were good, though, and it seemed to be a family-friendly establishment. Overall, the experience was decent, with some hits and misses in terms of food, but it was not a terrible experience, and the service was friendly and efficient.

Yelp
This was my second time here. The food is very good, everything tastes fresh & the service was good. Curb side dining on main street is always interesting & fun.

Yelp
Fun drinks! They really hit these out of the park for holiday and special event theme drinks. You also can't beat they're lunch deals!! I would definitely stick to lunch / drinks when you go.

Yelp
Finally made it to Taqueria Amor, aka "Taqueria Things," for their Stranger Things pop-up that was very impressive. The details were one of the best pop-ups I've experienced thus far. Super excited to have visited Taqueria Amor on Halloween day for an interesting solo date. Stranger Things is one of the best series ever and they captured it in the restaurant so well. So many things were displayed around the restaurant; the 80s music was playing, "lights" were displayed, and they even had clips from the show! Loved it all! Ordered the "Upside Down Margarita". Boozy...had to slow down! For an appetizer, I went with the seafood guacamole (real crab & shrimp) w/tortilla chips; I wasn't expecting it to taste so good. Also, went with the Carolina BBQ shrimp taco, which was tasty too. I highly enjoyed myself and will be back!
google avatar

Nardos G.

Yelp
My cousin took me to this place . Delicious tacos with outstanding service i love everything about this place.
google avatar

Eileen Z.

Yelp
Vibrant restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating and attentive staff. They had a limited time Barbie menu in honor of the movie debut so I got a Berrylicious Barbie cocktail, which was supposed to be a raspberry Moscow Mule with tequila. No ginger flavor at all and just tasted like watered down tequila, which was disappointing. Food was solid with good portion size, but overall no wow factor and I'm used to Mexican food having more oomph in flavor.
google avatar

Shifa A.

Yelp
Great place on Main Street! Amazing host and servers who make you feel comfortable and make some great suggestions. We were waiting to pick up our pup, so popped in for a quick drink and salad. Will definitely be back to taste more of the food. The salad was fresh, healthy and very appetizing.
google avatar

Jasmine S.

Yelp
Colorful establishment with modern Mexican eats. Visited during Taqueria Amor during lunch. Service was friendly, food came quickly and overall taste was spot on. Monday's are the only day TA serves burritos, so we lucked out. It was one of the favorite things we tried that day. The lunch menu features a "you pick two" option that works for people like me who want variety. It was also priced at $10.95 which is pretty affordable. Lastly, the margaritas were strong, always a plus!
google avatar

Alise R.

Yelp
I came here on taco Tuesday for lunch. They had 2 deals going on. The first was a lunch deal where you could get 2 items for $10ish dollars. The items on this menu all looked good. They also had $3 off all tacos and enchiladas on their regular menu. My friends and I ordered the guac and also got the complimentary salsa. The guac was great! The salsa was pretty good but a bit smokier than I prefer. We all ordered enchiladas. I got the brisket. It was also pretty good - came with 2 enchiladas. I enjoyed the sauces on it. I would prob go for the lunch deal next time tho bc it seemed like it was more food - and the salads sounded awesome. The service was great! I also liked the decor in the place. Next time I would eat outside - my friends wanted to eat indoors so that is what we did. But the windows were all open and there was a nice breeze. I wouldn't hesitate to return for another meal next time I'm in Manayunk.

Yelp
Popped into this restaurant while walking in the city. Got a pitcher of the strawberry margarita and it did not disappoint. We were able to fill our glasses 6 times. Guac and chips are very a bad thing. Chips were very salty and the salsa was little spicy My girlfriend ordered the chicken quesadilla and I got the chicken fajitas. Both were so good. The onions and peppers that came with the fajitas were top notch. Definitely will come again for drinks and guacamole
google avatar

Myah M.

Yelp
I enjoy every bite. Our server was amazingly helpful. And the grinch takeover vibe slapped hard.
google avatar

Liz W.

Yelp
The steak tacos rock, and the margs always hit the spot! The guac comes out fast so if you're looking for a quick spot for a snack and a bev, sit at the bar and you won't run late!

Yelp
This restaurant certainly has a festive vibe that I enjoyed very much. The first table we were seated at was right next to the bar area where the servers got their drink orders and I found all that hectic traffic uncomfortable so we asked to be moved and were graciously accommodated. We arrived for happy hour (4pm) and it was pretty crowded on a Friday afternoon. We began with some chips and salsa for my friend and the salsa trio for me. His came with a salsa morita and a salsa verde. Mine came with salsa árbol, chipotle poblano and a salsa verde as well. All of the red ones were different in texture and flavor profile. We enjoyed them very much. I also liked that each salsa came in a generous amount. For entrees he got bbq shrimp tacos and I got the pork Al pastor but substituted the pickled red onions for regular white ones. We both enjoyed these as well. My only other complaint was after I asked for containers for my leftover salsas and some of my tacos, our server whisked away my remaining chips that I planned to take with me when she sat down the to go package. Kind of defeated the point. Besides that we enjoyed ourselves and I definitely would love to go back.

Yelp
Taquiera Amor has been a long time staple of mine. This is the first I've been since they've changed their name but I still feel the vibes. Decided to play hooky from work with my old lady and hope they had a good happy hour. Chilee...they had frozen margaritas for $7.95 from 11 to 3! So we had a couple and their flavors are pretty extensive. Cool enough they had a lunch special: soup and your choice of tacos. Everything was on point for me: cute atmosphere, lit drinks, good food, good price...what more can I ask for?! I'll definitely be back but hoping I can play hooky and catch them early for lunch again.

Yelp
Really like this place. Have had the bean soup, and the tacos. Would definitely return. Service was good and all the food was tasty. Will definitely return!

Samira A.

Yelp
Taqueria Amor is fun and festive. The decor will brighten your mood with colorful floral designs. They definitely has its own signature look. My friend and I went on a Monday afternoon and were greeted by the host who was very friendly. Our waiter gave us perfectly salted warm tortilla chips and the Guacamole Loco we ordered, which came with corn bacon, cotija cheese and chili peppers. It was very flavorful but I think I'll opt for the traditional gauc or salsa next time because I didn't love the way it tasted. Minutes later we received a mountain of nachos! It was the Nachos De La Casa with chorizo. We did not expect our food to be this big. We were so full after eating a few bites. We couldn't even make it past half of the nachos. The flavors were so good! It had a mixture of everything, from queso, jalapenos, black beans, salsa, tomatoes, crema and radishes. I do wish they used thicker tortilla chips for the nachos because they were hard to grasp with the amount of topping on top. After that, the waiter served our quesadillas. I ordered the cheese steak option which was tasty and my friend had the chicken. We both took the majority of the quesadillas to go because we were so full. I'd visit again. The food is tasty and service was great, very friendly and attentive.

Yelp
Second time coming here, first time deserved 5 stars, not sure what happened this time around. The first time we came here (10/21) we got the nachos, fish tacos and shrimp tacos. The nacho portions were amazing and both the fish and shrimp were nicely coated. We came back to try the Tikiria special menu (4/22). I specifically wanted to try the plantain crusted Mahi tacos. Very disappointed! The plantain crust was so hard, I nearly chipped a tooth. Furthermore, the breading to fish ratio was way off. I barely had any fish. Tried the salsa trio, the salsa arbol was very good, never had it. My friend got the brisket enchiladas and said it was subpar. Both times, we've had to wait over an hour for a table. There's no reservation system online. I don't drink alcohol but their drink menu seems creative which is probably why people are drawn in. Most of their food items have good portions for a good price and for some, that's enough.

Yelp
Was not really impressed with this eatery. Interior very dark with hardly any lighting. The pork tacos did not have much flavor to them. Very bland. The service was great. The waiters are moving around this place quickly. They do give you enough food.

Yelp
Fun little spot in the manayunk section of philly. They had a grinch themed ambiance for about a month and we hit it on the last week of the year. They had very affordable lunch specials. It was $11 for a soup and two tacos. The chicken tortilla soup was delicious as were pork tacos. Very very filling and its great if your looking for a more affordable lunch in the area. The specialty drinks were about $12 and up but I wasn't in the drinking mood but next time I would get one they had a varied list of margarita. This place was packed and I can see why.

Yelp
I came here because I found out about their grinch pop up for the holidays. I must say it's the cutest thing ever. It stands out from the other stores and who doesn't love grinch? Their grinch drinks sounded cute on the menu but they looked like regular drinks when they came. I think their grinch pop up would look cuter if they had some type of garnish or something to top off the drinks as part of the theme. For example, the Rudolph drink is red but I think it would be cute if they had a cherry garnish or something like that? Though this is minor. I got the pork Al pastor and the meat was delicious. Though, the bowl itself was a little empty. It came with onions and beans, but I wish there was a bit more to it. The bowl with rice was a little dry and there weren't any sauces. Next time I will have to try their tacos instead. Everyone's food looked great and their regular margarita was good :) I would come here again, and try the pork al pastor tacos instead of their bowl now that I know. If you want cute vibes and some tacos and margaritas, I recommend!

Yelp
Although I appreciated the great customer service, I wasn't super impressed by the food here. The guacamole was decent. Freshly made. The salsa lacked flavor (perhaps a little salt) and my tacos weren't impressive at all. It's my fault for ordering them! Why do I say such things... you ask? Tilapia is not the best tasting fish. Point, blank periodt! It holds no flavor and has a tough texture. Is tilapia even a real fish? Fish tacos are better served with a mild white fish like mahi or grouper (my preference for sure). Ultimately, I may return for guac but won't try myself again with the fake fish tacos.

Yelp
The food is really great! I got the seafood enchiladas and it came fully loaded. The service when busy isn't the best. Our waitress came quick and left faster but we got most of what we wanted. They go all out on the decorations for themes. It was amazing for Halloween with the Wednesday Addams design!

Yelp
We love Taqueria when we eat there, but can't say the same about take out / ordering online. Got a few items wrong in the order and the queso was unfortunately inedible.

Yelp
First time here and it was nice. I like the open style of eating indoors adjacent to outdoors. While you are indoors, you can also experience the outdoors where people can also eat. The food was pretty good. I ordered the steak burrito. It was flavorful with a dipping sauce. There are daily specials, and burritos were on special on Mondays. The service was prompt, but needed to remind about getting the complimentary chips and salsa. Nice lunch option on a nice day.

Yelp
I think I'm in love!!!! This place has great food and great vibes! For food I ordered chicken enchiladas and I got chips and guac. Being that it was Sunday all guac was $5 off . The guacamole was delicious!!! For drinks I got the blood orange casamigos margarita. Say it with me..."OMG!!!" It was fire!!! Perfect ratio of alcohol to margarita mix and it definitely did its job. I choose this place based on recommendations and also because I wanted somewhere to watch the game. They delivered! I'll definitely be back!!!

Yelp
This restaurant was absolutely beautifully decorated, and so much fun to attend last night. It was my first time and I was very pleased. This place is decked out for Christmas, and they have a "Grinch" themed cocktail menu for the holiday season. The food was VERY good. I got the Korean BBQ/broccoli bowl and added chicken (it comes vegan). The chicken breast was cut thick and SO EXTREMELY juicy. Another member of my party had the chicken fajitas. It came with such a delicious green salsa. Their guac, salsa, and chips were all very tasty. My daughter had a kid's burger and fries - the burger was huge, and the fries were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The drinks were delicious and strong too. Service was fast and friendly. Everyone was smiling. Will definitely come back when I'm in Manayunk!
