Taqueria by El Prieto NYC

This place is a great addition to the area. Great service, the owner was very nice and attentive, on top of everything, and the food was top-notch. Got one beef, one chicken, one pork taco, also a chicken quesadilla, and the owner was kind enough to throw in some loaded chips as well, on the house. Certainly recommended and will definitely be going back.

The tacos are amazing, especially the pork ones, but the breakfast burrito (egg, potato, chorizo) was the STAR OF THE SHOW!! Homemade tortillas, super flavorful, and reasonably priced too! Also the service was amazing, and they were kind enough to give us a couple free horchatas!! This place opened recently in Feb and I’m just waiting for this place to blow up.

This is THE BEST Mexican food in the area. Their tacos are amazing, but more importantly, they have the single best burrito in all of NYC. It is absolutely delicious. This place is the real deal, and I say that as someone from San Diego who has sadly eaten a lot of bad Mexican food in NYC.

Amazing Mexican in NYC! They are so sweet and generous, we spent time chatting with the owner and he was so nice. The food is incredible and well priced, super fresh and amazing salsa bar. I will keep coming back!

If you're craving authentic Mexican food, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit! The salsa bar is also a nice touch, offering different levels of heat and flavor to accompany every dish. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that our meal was a memorable one. 100% recommended.

So FRESH! The food is fresh and the Agua de Fresca in cucumber/lime/chia seed is SOOOO GOOD! It’s my new go-to. They have horchata and agua de Jamaica (hibiscus to me). All made daily and not too sweet.

Very nice and beautiful authentic restaurant! We fell in love with food that is super delicious, fresh and authentic! Staff is amazing and helpful, we also got complementary housemade cucumber lemonade! Definitely visiting again!
