Seattle Drag Brunches That Serve More Than Just Eggs

"The Lady Chablis holds down a weekly event with Runway Sundays at Taqueria Cantina’s downtown location. Compared to the typical brunch fare at other spots, Taqueria Cantina’s is a little spicier: tacos, nachos, and rich red pozole perfect for nursing a hangover. Swap out the typical mimosa for a frozen margarita, garnished with a whole Mexican paleta." - Kurt Suchman

The Seattle Drag Show Directory - Seattle - The Infatuation

"This is a Belltown Mexican restaurant that functions mostly as a Belltown Mexican restaurant. Every Saturday, however, you can enjoy chilaquiles and death drops during their 12:30 Belltown Babes Brunch hosted by Ladie Chablis. There’s no ticket price—it’s just required that you purchase an entree (and of course, tip your queens generously). Their Downtown location also has a weekly drag brunch." - Aimee Rizzo

The place used to be better, but for now, I also avoid eating here. I prefer the restaurant downtown. This one, the taste is not good enough. No flavor. Also, I feel the prices are higher here, and the service isn't memorable. I usually order options. Avoid pozole (not pozole) and guacamole (overpriced and small portions).

I didn't like the service here, there were two servers and one of them was super busy making drinks and the other just paid attention to her tables. It took me to much time to pay the bill, the server didn't have time to ask if everything was ok. The food wasn't good, I ordered nachos and they were super dry, the meat didn't have flavor and they were very expensive!! The sandwich was ok. I think this is a good place to order drinks because the michelada was great but when I asked the waitress about a drink that I saw on the website he had not idea about the drink that I was asking even when I show him a picture, then I saw that he made the same exact drink for another customer. So in the end I was very dissapointed.

Taco Cantina is a refreshing and authentic experience. The food tastes amazing. I’m a Mexican-American from the Southwest and Taco Cantina has impressed me with their flavors, quality, and authenticity. The margaritas are delicious and definitely hit the spot. I had the tofu fajitas with rice and beans. The portions are great for the price. Recommended 10/10. The servers and staff are polite and welcoming. I was able to make conversation with my server and felt great after leaving. I’ll be coming back to this place on my next trip to Seattle.

The food and service are good. The food we ordered was Panner Tacos, Veggie Tacos, Chicken Tacos, Chicken Fajitas, Mega Guacamole, Enchiladas, Panner Torta, Chicken Chimichanga. All are good in taste. The drinks we ordered are Classic Margarita, Mezcal Margarita, Jarritos, and Mango Tequila Mule. All drinks are amazing. They have many vegetarian options.

The best nachos I have ever had! I had them half asada and half barbacoa! Both proteins are excellent! Service was very nice! Good vibe! Creative music! My new favorite spot! Can't wait till I try their Downtown location! I'm new to the city so looking for spots to call home! Did I mention lunch happy hour? Can't beat a good deal! Looking forward their drag brunch on Saturday! I'll be back Saturday for brunch! Jonathan

Our first visit was nice but the next was horrible. The food is really good but only if it is kept consistent with the menu. Last time we went and ordered veg tacos. The menu specifically said it has some ingredients which were missing like avocado. We asked our server for it and she said it doesn't come with the order, we showed her the menu to prove our point to which she then brought it on the side. However, our meal was ruined by then and it didn't make sense to have it on the side. The flavor was totally missing and tortillas were mushy due to the soggy veggies. The server was nice but she went missing after a while.

I was so hungry and the chimichanga was too tempting I forgot to get a picture before I started eating. This sucker was huge and full of flavor. We also got quesadillas and some sides, everything was awesome! No doubt whatever you order on this menu is gonna feel home cooked and made with love, I wish I could go back and try other dishes. The staff was great and I loved the feel inside. Even without the food it seems like a great place to grab a drink and hang out.

Good custumer service no complaints , but…🫤 the food is mm so-so or probably just ok, the rice was very, very dry we didn’t eat it, the chicken was very, very dry but good taste of chipotle but still too dry, the Chile verde tastes ok, but definitely the way it’s cooked it’s not “ Mexican style “ too much, too much Bell Beepers on Chile verde…. I have eaten Chile verde multiple times in Mexico and I think they need to change the name here to Bell Pepper Chile, Mmm…. the tacos are mmm 🤷🏻‍♂️ I think they over compensate the taste with too much meat.
