"Taqueria Cinco stands out in the Five Points neighborhood for its consistently good Mexican street food. Tacos served on corn tortillas feature toppings such as braised beef with avocado salsa and grilled cactus with summer squash. The menu includes tostadas piled high with meat or veggies, refried beans, cilantro, and avocado salsa. A must-try is the esquites, a Mexican street corn cup loaded with mayo, cotija cheese, hot sauce, and Tajin spice." - Megan duBois

"Five Points neighborhood mainstay Taqueria Cinco dishes out tacos made with as many locally sourced ingredients as possible. The menu is vast with meat-based options like tender Yucatan-style pork with pickled onions and a sweet and spicy habanero-carrot salsa. For something that’s not on many taco menus in town, opt for the grilled cactus tacos with summer squash and blistered tomatoes mixed into the filling." - Megan duBois

I was very happy to find such delicious tacos in Jacksonville Florida! Yes, they were on the expensive side, but I did not regret getting the ribeye steak taco. The salsas that come with it are good too, I just wished it was a little more spicy. Regardless, the taste of the tortilla, the steak, the onions and cilantro along with the salsa, is quite an experience. The corn tortillas make the tacos taste like they do in Mexico. Great place and great atmosphere, excellent service too. Thank you Taqueria Cinco, your tacos are the best I had in this area.

Taqueria Cinco is a hidden gem, it’s quaint in size however the atmosphere is lovely. You’re welcomed in by friendly smiling faces! As you walk through the restaurant you are brought out to an elongated patio area that’s quiet and secluded, great for enjoying conversation. Even while fully sat outside it was peaceful. We had a draft beer and a Mexican coke to drink. We started with chips and salsa which came with a trio of homemade salsas, and homemade tortilla chips! The tacos Al pastor, and Carnitas tacos as entrees, and enjoyed churros with chocolate sauce! I’ve tried plenty of taco restaurants in the area, they truly show the love they put into their food, and customer service! Highly recommend!

I ordered the fish tacos and the Ribeye taco, both of which were outstanding. The flavors were enhanced by a particularly remarkable sauce. The portions were appropriate, and the service was notably efficient. The house margaritas were of high quality and reasonably priced at $6 during happy hour. For dessert, I opted for the "Say Cheese," a deep-fried cheesecake with a churro crunch, which provided an excellent conclusion to an enjoyable happy hour meal.

Taqueria Cinco is one of my favorite spots in Jacksonville for tacos. The quality and portion sizes are great for the price—they really pack the tacos with meat, which I appreciate. I especially love the Suadero taco, which is made with tender brisket, and the ribeye taco marinated in salt and lime is incredibly flavorful. The guacamole is fresh and delicious, and their margaritas hit the spot—though I do wish they had a wider variety. I've never had to wait for a table, but maybe I’ve just gotten lucky with timing. The outdoor seating area is charming, and the staff is always kind and welcoming. Definitely a local gem worth checking out!

Google
I decided to try this place on my way home, and I was amazed by the huge portion of meat on the taco! The avocado salsa they serve is amazing, and the churro with chocolate sauce was delicious—definitely a treat. I was also excited to find a place that serves homemade horchata, which is hard to come by. As for the atmosphere, it was a bit too hot inside, but the outdoor patio is a nice option. I’m curious how it’ll feel in the summer, though. I came back a few days later and will definitely be coming back again. :)

Google
We took a culinary cruise to Taqueria CINco in Jacksonville's Five Points neighborhood. This joint is servin' up some righteous Mexican street eats that'll have your taste buds doin' the salsa. This ain't your average taco stop—Cinco is bringing the heat. The Ribeye Cecina Taco? Paper-thin steak, grilled to juicy perfection with salt and lime—simple, bold, and money. Then there’s the Grouper Taco, which tastes like it swam straight into a spice fiesta—crispy, tender fish with citrusy punch and a creamy finish. Total flavor explosion! So, if you're cruisin' through Jacksonville and hankerin' for some killer Mexican eats, Taqueria CINco is the place to be. This joint's got the flavors, the vibes, and the eats that'll take you straight to Flavortown!

Google
Excellent tacos in Jacksonville! I came here right when they opened and was immediately welcomed by a friendly staff. Word of warning though: if you’re usually a 4 taco kinda person, you might wanna go with 3. They are very heavy with the portions on these tacos. Excellent chorizo and ribeye! I recommend the Campechano as it combines both ribeye and chorizo. If you can handle a little bit of spice then it’s a great taco. Also solid margs too.

I don’t think it’s a secret that the east coast as a whole is sorely missing good Mexican food. NC holding the trophy for the most exceptions. Florida in particular being an absolute desert for a decent taco. THIS place is where I send my west coast friends to earn us back some bragging rights. It’s a small spot, very casual, and you can tell that every ounce of extra energy is focused on getting that food to taste like postponing that trip to LA, Texas, or Mexico city. The al pastor is only available weekends and I’ve not checked out new restaurant openings in the area because I’m filling myself with these tacos. The margs are solid and strong, the food is as authentic as you need it to be for bragging rights but also- lets be honest still delicious to the novice who uses phases like “taco meat” so flavorful, so photo worthy and SO SO SO satisfying. The tamales- this was a special I took a chance on and my GAWD I’m so glad I did. I’ve always felt like I should like tamales, but everywhere I’ve ever had them had left me confused as to why someone would put the effort into making them factory style in families for Christmas dinner. Those are reserved for the most delicious foods in a latin household. Pasteles are my favorite dish made in PR & DR. So why were these always dry, bland and so meh. Taqueria Cinco finally gave me my tamale lightbulb moment. THIS my friends is a tamale worth the Christmas table. I’m salivating remembering it. Thank you fine folks for taking a chance in Jacksonville and serving up some bold flavors in bold city.

Yelp
This is my favorite place to get tacos and margaritas! I lived in Chicago for 10 years, and the food and vibes here rival those of my favorite places in Chicago. They make really good use of their outdoor area- actually I think I've only sat inside 1 or 2 times. It has a hipster ambiance, but the service is always friendly and unpretentious. These are my favorite go-to menu items: 1. Chicken tinga: if you're like me you might think chicken is so boring, but the sauce it's cooked in is kinda similar to mole and has a slightly smoky, complex flavor- LOVE. 2. Al pastor: it's only available on weekends but I love the sweetness of the pineapple. 3. Pescado (fish): I don't love this one as much as the others, but I just have a personal preference for grilled vs fried fish. This one replaced the cochinita pibil that they had that I was obsessed with but it's not on the menu anymore :'( 4. Any margarita that's on special (they rotate them all the time). Otherwise, they'll make me a skinny margarita, even if it's not in the menu, which is soo good. I'll admit I had a friend who said she could tell their tequila is lower tier, but I can't tell. Maybe my palate isn't very sophisticated though haha.

Yelp
For this Taco Extravaganza my food was served first then my drink then my chips in reverse order. Overall they have amazing food. Avoid coming in on taco Tuesdays they are slammed. I ordered: 2 Special Margs, 3 tacos, 1 chix quesadilla to go and chips & salsa. I could order drinks while waiting greeted by the hostess asked If she needed my card to start a tab fot the drinks she said no. I sat outside on the brink of the patio bc party of 1. Too close to the parking lot I came with in 3 feet of a car pulling thru. This is a small establishment, I recommend coming for lunch or mid week early dinner. They were short staffed. Only saw my server 3 times was confused bc he was also maybe the busser/food runner? I saw him take out the trash and clear off tables. While another server delivered my food. There were people coming up through the back trying to walk in and seat themselves the staff outside on the back patio no recognizing them It took 30 min to get my final check. Great concept, great food/drinks but terrible service.Nick was my server/ food runner / busser. After I finally got the check the server looked confused and asked me If I had ordered 2 specialty margs with the hostess I replies yes, he sad thats why the check took soo long even though I saw him pass by me multiple time at the patio / delivering food / busing tables. The service staff needs improvement and communication between the host / server/ support staff as well. I recommend coming for lunch only or getting take out

Yelp
Finally made it - just dropped for a quick dinner before the Jumbo Shrimp game. Service was great and food was even better. We arrived about 5:10 on a Saturday and it's a good thing as outside seating had a steady stream while we were there. By the time we left, outside was full. Drinks were nice and strong and a very ample serving size for the cost. Nothing fancy - served in plastic cups, but well executed. My strawberry margarita really hit the spot. I ordered a fish taco and carnitas and they were spilling over with meat and toppings and also very well executed. Add 5 more fans to the growing list.

Yelp
I typically don't review a place twice. Especially when there was nothing to improve upon. Same beautiful patio, same great service, same amazing, fresh Mexican food. Still my favorite place for Mexican, and one of the best Happy Hour deals you'll find in 5 Points. I just had to add that today, I ordered the churros for dessert. I was almost ashamed of myself for doing it. Churros...like a six year old at a carnival. I don't have the adjectives to describe how fantastic the churros were. Not like any churro I've ever had. Forget what you think you know about churros. So fresh, so soft, just the right amount of crispy. The sugar, the cinnamon, the chocolate, just perfect. I really can't find a way to describe it, I'll just say that if I was knowingly having a last meal, these churros would be a part of it.

Yelp
Very amazing food. Very nice vibe inside as well, and the service was fast!!!!!! I got a jalepeno marg and it was DELISH. The tequila they use is the best.

Luis D.

Yelp
Taqueria Cinco came highly suggested by our next door neighbor. It was certainly a nice spot. I came with my family for a Taco Tuesday outing. It turns out they have a nice happy hour and Tuesday specials $3 dollar tacos and $5 margaritas/drafts was a nice special. Indoor seating is small, but intimate in a good way. I expect they get full with dates a lot. The staff was great and service was quick. Nothing took long to make or serve. The chicken tacos were very tasty as was the carnitas. I didn't try the falafel taco, but it did sound nice. My Modelo draft was tasty and the margarita was also very good according to my wife. Overall, it was a nice spot.

Taylor S.

Yelp
Tiny spot in Five Points with the best tacos! The menu has more variety than most taco spots in Jax and it was fun to try something different, like the roasted mushrooms! Service was quick and our waitress was very kind. We didn't get a chance to see the patio because it was so hot out, but the patio was definitely busy!

Matthew L.

Yelp
Love this place. I've been here multiple times and look forward to many more. The quality of food is great and most everything is plentiful - especially on the tacos. Pros: * We've had almost all the tacos and they are full of meat and flavorful * Great service every time we have visited Cons: * Limited indoor seating * if you ask for water yet get bottled water at $1each ($8 for our table) I almost reduced the rating to four stars (1) because of the giving us bottled waters and not telling us they were at $1 each and (2) the serving size for the chips and salsa was smaller than we anticipated for the price.

Joshua O.

Yelp
Best Tacos in Jax! At first I wasn't the happiest to pay $5/$6 for a taco but you definitely get your money's worth! They load those bad boys up with plenty of protein and flavors. The chicken tinga, camarones and CACTUS tacos had rich flavors and textures and I'm still thinking about that al pastor sauce. Excellent service and definitely recommend!

Jamie W.

Yelp
First visit with some friends and it will definitely not be the last! It is very small inside, but there is also outside seating. It was a little chilly for us so we choose a table inside. Our server, Reggie, was amazing. He was very patient will all of our questions, gave us some great suggestions, and was on point during our entire visit. Now on to the yummy food! We opted to do quite a few dishes and share, and that was perfect for our first visit. They have a terrific Happy Hour menu with lots of selections. Chicken nachos were amazing with black beans, cheese, and crispy chips - served in a very shareable bowl. Flautas were crispy and tasty. Guacamole was fresh and served with more of the crispy chips. And their version of ceviche, with Orange Fanta (!) was so delicious. I had one of their fish tacos and rice & beans. The taco was very good, but I did think it needed a bit of salt. The breading was nice & light. My friends had the carnitas and raved about the flavor. On to the margaritas - Oh my! Probably one of the best margaritas I have ever had, and $5!!! What?!? Tart, smooth and amazing! We ended the meal with churros with chili-chocolate sauce. Hot, crunchy, not too sweet, and the chocolate sauce - good enough to drink!

David M.

Yelp
Topline review is that the food here is ridiculously good. If you like tacos, this is absolutely the best choice in the area. they have a ton of vegetarian options that you don't frequently see on menus here, like nopales and huitlacoche, but I rotate between the ribeye cecina, the chorizo, the al pastor (weekends only). the carnitas, the cochinita pibil, and the campechano. The last two are probably my favorites, with the campechano marrying up both the ribeye and chorizo with nopales in a super spicy combo. You can end up with a more expensive meal than expected, because three tacos can be $16-20 depending on what you order. Seating inside is very limited, but there's a beautiful (and much larger) backyard for nice days. Service is very friendly.

Anai H.

Yelp
The food and drinks were top tier! The service was soooooo good! Taylor was our waiter and he was very nice and patient. Will be soon

Varsha P.

Yelp
This is a small hole in the wall taco shop located in Five Points. They offer a wide variety of Mexican inspired street food! My tinga taco had slow cooked chicken with ranchera sauce, pickled onions, and avo mousse. The camarones taco contained shrimp, yucatan cabbage slaw, and morita-almond salsa. And lastly, the esquites consisted of Mexican street corn off-the-cob, cotija, Cholula mayo, and chili-lime dust. All of these food items were absolutely delicious and worth a try! I highly recommend this place if you're in the Five Points area!!⁣⁣ My order: Chicken Tinga Taco, Camarones Taco, & Esquites

Laura A.

Yelp
Our favorite local place, never disappoints. Finally sat further back out on the patio. Great space and room for pups (next time!). Service is great, food is fantastic and the weather was perfect. Started with chips and salsa, love both their regular and green salsa, the spicy is good in small amounts as I am not the best with spice. Weekends mean the Al Pastor is available, easily the best taco here. Love the ribeye too. My favorite red sangria is here too, just make sure to mix it up before drinking to combine the flavors. Yum to the sangria soaked orange and strawberry in the sangria.

Sasha P.

Yelp
If you're looking for some unique and authentic tacos, this is a great spot to visit. We loaded up on the spicy food this last trip and MAN it was delicious - I even had a spicy margarita (go big or go home). My husband ordered the ribeye (mateo style) quesadilla and absolutely devoured it. I went for something different this time and had the chicken tinga and repollitos tacos. They were both extremely flavorful - but I will say, I couldn't pick them up to eat, I had to use a fork. That was my only complaint but they were *tasty*. Service was pretty quick and everything in this spot moves at a fast pace. No one is walking slowly and they are cranking out orders the entire service. Prices are also reasonable. It's so hot in the summer that we didn't want to sit outside, but thankfully we only had to wait a few minutes to get a table indoors. When it's actually nice out, I definitely recommend the patio. Cheers!

Meagan R.

Yelp
Such a cutesy place! My cousin had been telling me to give this place a try for months and I finally made my way in. The outdoor patio has a great vibe, I loved dining out there. I got three tacos and the seasonal margarita. The tacos were absolutely delicious and filling. The marg not so much but the food made up for it, plus the staff were all so kind and welcoming. I will definitely be back to try more seasonal tacos and drinks, plus the yummy regular items.

Rachna K.

Yelp
Cute little taqueria with limited indoor but lots of patio seating! Right near the five points area. The tacos and guacamole were delicious and very generous portions especially with the guacamole! The tacos tasted very authentic. The drinks were ok which is the only reason I'd give the place 4/5 stars but still tasty, just very watered down. Our server was very attentive and gave us lots of suggestions based on customer favorites!

Jennifer L.

Yelp
Yum. And yum again. This was our choice for St. Patrick's Day dinner after a long day of art museums. We sat outside at a fun picnic table which was perfect, especially on a beautiful day. It was Happy Hour, and the $5 margaritas were absolutely perfect: not too sweet and not too tart. Yum. We had the guacamole with fresh, crispy chips. Everyone in our party got two tacos. I had the Ribeye Cecina, which was delightfully spicy with tender cuts of beef. I also had the Repollitos - the flavor was great, but I would have preferred shredded brussels, instead of halved. Service was wonderful, too! Would absolutely return!

Natalie Y.

Yelp
Fantastic food and the staff is always friendly. There is only a few tables inside, but there is a nice back patio area when the weather permits.

Kristina C.

Yelp
Authentic . Perfect "hole in the wall" restaurant for a taco! They have sangria and margaritas too of course but we did not partake on this trip just a coke and a horchata. They only serve the El Pastor tacos on Fridays and Saturdays so that influenced our choice, the pork was cooked to perfection with little bits of onion, cilantro and onion rounding out the flavors. The chips and salsa were fresh and flavorful. The service was friendly and energetic.

Kim O.

Yelp
Well, I wish my meal had been better. We decided to eat here due the favorable reviews. The place is small but clean. We are outside in front. We started with their standard Margaritas which were ok but had a strange taste. The mix? Since I was outside with our corgi Mark ordered the Carnitas and Suadero tacos for me (wasn't sure from menu if one or two of each) and he ordered the Rib-eye Cecina tacos for himself. I was served just a total of two tacos which were the same and, although the meat was plentiful, it was salty and more like watery pot roast than "braised brisket" neither of which I was able to pick up without the tortilla coming apart. Sadly disappointing. Mark recieved two tacos so obviously we were charged but did not receive my Carnitas tacos. He did enjoy his tacos. Our server was very friendly and efficient.

Monika S.

Yelp
If you're looking for a Mexican restaurant with super-fresh food and drinks, and a cool vibe, here ya go. It's a tight but ample space on the inside, and the back patio is spacious and chill (dogs allowed here ). We had a Modelo draft, and a spicy margarita (yum) on happy hour prices - nice. We ordered chips and salsa for $3 (just $2 if you only want chips). We got 3 salsas: regular, red spicy, green tomatillo. They were ok; the regular had the most and the other two were in small 2oz cups. The chips were unimpressive. Half a lunch-sack of stale chips and oil on the bag... maybe there was a chip rotation missed, I don't know. Entrées were amazing though, sorry we missed pics of them. Two chicken tinga tacos on super fresh corn tortillas, and one cochinita pibil taco (that sauce on top was very spicy but delicious), and then a side of esquites that were obviously freshly cut from summer corn. I mean, yes girl, it was delicious!! I would've asked for a little more Tajin but that's me. They strive to use the freshest local ingredients, and it shows. I'm sure I'd find something to enjoy every time...we'll be back!

Courtenay S.

Yelp
I live in Vegas, home to some of the best taco spots, and this spot was SO GOOD! Every other taco spot I've been to in Jax was okay, but I would recommend Taqueria Cinco so anyone in the area. I never take pictures while eating, but the Al Pastor was on point!! Also cute spot with great vibes for drinks and to hang out.

Haley L.

Yelp
It's in great location but it's filled with numerous other taco spots. I wish they had more specials to make themselves stand out. Prices aren't bad but not completely aligned with their competitors. Back patio is amazing and makes them stand out compared to other places in the area

Bleu W.

Yelp
A hidden gem in Jacksonville, Florida. We had a delicious meal sitting outside in the sunshine. The owner offered a yellow pair of shades - so kind and thoughtful. The food is excellent - fresh and delicious ingredients and well seasoned. We are happy to find a nice local eatery to bring much needed sustenance. We look forward to visiting again when we return to Jacksonville.

Jessica V.

Yelp
This place is right in the middle of 5 points. It is small, but does have outdoor seating. My friend who is from Mexico told me of this place, so I decided to try it. The horchata was delicious and agua fresca too. I loved the cochinita pabil and sudadero tacos. These are by far the best tocos I have had in Jacksonville. The esquites were good but a little bit too runny for my liking but there flavor was delicious the service was great during lunch you order at the counter and they bring the food to you. In the evenings they have full service. It is one of my favorite places in the 5 points area

Quy M.

Yelp
This place is fantastic HOWEVER I was disappointed to find out that they don't serve up liquor, but rather wine based Tequila. Which by the way was disgusting! We ordered three shots. Won't be doing that again LOL The service was decent for the most part. I did order a Modelo which took entirely way too long to arrive. Once I received by beer the wait for the food wasn't terrible. The food. Tacos were loaded! My wife ordered the oyster ceviche and holy smokes... The presentation!! Even came with a can of Modelo dripping in whatever kind of sauce. My wife's eyes lit up when she tried it. You could tell they put a lot of love into the food. Will definitely be giving this place another shot when we are in the 5 points area.

Vanessa T.

Yelp
I love this place, like really love it! It's a small hole in the wall kinda place, but gets very busy I would recommend going on non peak times, but once you get a table it's just great! Authentic!!! They have tacos here you don't see at other places, and i just loved their veggie tacos which is crazy cause normally I would be all over the meats but the cactus and corn/ mushroom tacos were just crazy good! And it's the fact you can't get these anywhere else, love it! Out of all the tons of tacos places in Jax CINco stole my heart! :)

Jeff B.

Yelp
This is a tough review to write.........Why? We've eaten at Taqueria Cinco 3 or 4 times and it has always been great. But not tonight. We had the following: 1 Al Pastor Taco that was excellent! 1 Huitlacoche Taco that was "meh". Very little corn, but lots of mushrooms. 1 Camaromes Taco. Not very good. Needed more seasoning. 2 Repollitoos' Tacos. Brussel Sprouts were not cooked. It was like eating raw Brussel sprouts. Just not god at all The Guacamole was good, but heavy on the salt. Just disappointed overall. Like I started with; our previous experiences there have been great. Maybe tonight was an off night, but it will be a while before we return. Service was good though. Our server was excellent!!

Jennise S.

Yelp
In search of a different restaurant found this one and boy am I so happy I did. I'm not one to gate keep so here I am giving up the secret spot! The greeting was very warm by my server. The decor was so cute and it has a nice patio in the back. Now the good stuff the tacos!!! Wow! I got three tacos (1) carnitas, (1) suadero and (1) Al pastor let me tell you Chefs kiss! I got a side of esquite! Just go run!

Roxanne H.

Yelp
Fabulous all over!! Good food! Good service! Great ambiance-casual dining worth the money!

Emily C.

Yelp
The tacos here are authentic and good! They were a little slow but it's also a small restaurant with many people!

Jill P.

Yelp
LOVED the ambience! The fire was a warm touch, the Mexican street food was so flavorful, and the hot sauces were amazing! The waitress was so sweet and worked hard to get our fire going because it kept dying. She also check up on us a lot to make sure we were okay, but not too much to be overbearing.

Rick T.

Yelp
Tight quarters inside, larger seating area out back with heaters during the cooler months. Done well! Great food! Wonderful service. A new favorite!

Shana S.

Yelp
We started with chips, guac and esquites. All of the starters were so amazing and full of flavor, came out on a platter and very presentable. My drink of choice was the guava margarita and it was so amazing and came in a keepsake cup and then of course i had to get my spicy margarita which was amazing. For my main meal I had the Repollitos Huaraches which had glazed brussels, queso fresco, refried black beans! It was all so amazing and i would definitely order it again. Our waiter was Philip and he served up all the goodness that we had with a smile on his face.

Chiarina B.

Yelp
MUST GO. Hands down one of the best tacos places in Jax. Fits well within the 5 points area. Wonderful staff! Amazing flavors and sauces. Truly a favorite. Smaller setting inside but the open patio in the back makes up for it. They don't sell liquor but the crafted drinks are great.

Sarah C.

Yelp
Small indoor restaurant and can feel a little cramped but service and food are great! First time here and had the horchata and two tacos (al pastor and blackened salmon) on a Friday night. Al pastor was delish. Salmon was not bad and mildly spicy. Would come here again. Difficult to find parking especially on a busy night.

Teresa W.

Yelp
I drove over from the beach to get my daughter in law a gift card as part of her Mother's Day gift. This is their favorite taco spot. Because I knew that round trip drive would be more than an hour, I had a late lunch when I arrived. I had not been during happy hour before so that was a nice little surprise. A few discounted dishes and drinks to choose from. I had a white sangria and ordered the nachos veggie style and a side of the street corn. Their street corn is amazing and always a must! The menu is small as well as the dining space, but they do offer outdoor seating. They are authentic Mexican so you are not going to find dishes you do in most Mexican spots, but that's a good thing. Overall, I like the spot. It is tight inside so not as comfortable as I would like but fine for a quick lunch.

Victoria B.

Yelp
Oh my goodness!!!! This place is amazing. I took myself on a date there and I had such a great time. The service was impeccable and I had a couple of delicious watermelon margaritas that were out of this world. The menu made it hard to choose just two tacos but I went with the Al pastor and chorizo. Both were so flavorful and tender that I wished I could rewind time and eat them again! The decor was beautiful and they have an outdoor patio that has a lot of lush foliage. Very cute place to take pics.

Dominique W.

Yelp
The tacos and drinks were great! Tasteful, seasoned, satisfying to the taste buds. I didnt like the shrimp tostada. The shrimp couldve used more flavor and it just tasted like something was missing. They make the salsas and chips themselves and our chips were a little stale. Probably an older batch. It's a small little restaurant so there is kind of an intimate vibe with the staff. Our waitress was friendly and gave us good recommendations. Overall, great spot and we will be going back!

Kat G.

Yelp
I love this place! Excellent service and really nifty tacos. I ordered the Nopales taco, the Huitlacoche taco and the chicken tinga taco. Usually I choose flour tortillas (most places can't make corn ones very well) but these corn tortillas were AMAZING. And they load the tacos up so much they usually have to double layer the tortillas. My favorite was the Nopales taco, with the Huitlacoche being second. But they were all tasty! I didn't get a drink but their margaritas look delicious! The only con is it's a tiny tiny place. I suggest sitting outside where it's less claustrophobic.

Pretti D.

Yelp
If you find yourself in the area, I cannot stress enough how imperative it is to pay a visit to Taqueria Cinco. The flavors, ambiance, and overall experience will leave you craving more. Service 10/10 staff is super nice. I just love everything about Taqueria Cinco. Prepare to embark on a journey through Mexico's rich culinary heritage. Trust me, you won't be disappointed! Yelp
This place is absolutely wonderful. I have been a few times before and have never had a bad meal. Today we stopped in for happy hour and was pleasantly surprised by the large size of the nachitos and my margarita was absolutely delicious! If you aren't a fan of spice you might want to get the sauce on the side, but for me the spice level was perfect! The coctel de camarones was the perfect size for $5 and was flavorful and topped with a generous dollop of their house made guacamole. YUM!! I will absolutely be back for happy hour! I did see that they had removed my favorite dish on the regular menu, the "Mateo," but I will be back to try something new next time.

Yelp
Stopped here after spending the day strolling along the Riverwalk. We were looking for a pet friendly restaurant and stumbled across this location and so glad we did!! The food was absolutely amazing. So well seasoned. On top of the fact the back patio is so cute. My server was amazing as well, very attentive and was able to explain everything on the menu with ease. First time and won't be our last!

Yelp
Great food and great service. The margaritas are on point. And the food is tasty. Super small establishment though.

Yelp
Outstanding tacos and the margaritas in Bold City. I had the tacos pastor, which is a special every weekend and they were delicious. Much larger portions than typical, but spicy and fresh. The cocktails were perfectly executed and delicious. Best Mexican in town.

Yelp
The food is delicious and the prices are great when you come to happy hour on taco Tuesday. All the servers are just as great as the food!

Yelp
A friend of ours was talking Taqueria CINco up so big that we changed our dinner plans last Friday just to try it. WOW.. start to finish this meal was fantastic. We walked in and sat out back in the patio area. It was a super cute spot. Plus we got to enjoy the great weather. Hubby ordered us 2 glasses of red sangria as well as chips & salsa. The sangria was very good and not overly sweet. The chips had a great crunch. I really liked the three different salsas especially the traditional salsa and avocado salsa. We enjoyed our drinks and chips before ordering tacos. Once we ordered, the food came out super fast. I tried the following tacos: Chorizo - so delicious! Spicy ground chorizo loaded into a cheesy, toasted tortilla - sooo good! Hubby isn't a huge fan of chorizo tacos but he said he would be ordering this one next time. Chicken Tinga - flavor-packed, moist shredded chicken - very, very good. I loved the avo mousse. Cochinita Pibil - tasty, juicy pork! Another amazing taco. Great with the pickled onions. Suadero - very tender braised beef served with avocado salsa. I loved this one and wished I would have ordered one for myself Al Pastor - moist and flavorful pork topped with sweet pineapple chunks. Usually a favorite of mine and this one did not disappoint! All tacos were deliciously spicy and loaded with meat. We also shared a side of beans & rice. The rice wasn't my favorite but not bad. The refried black beans were tasty, excellent topped with queso fresco and onions. I can't wait to try their quesadillas next time. If you like foodie tacos, you must try Taqueria CINco!

Yelp
So it was good, but not super great. I'm new to Florida though so maybe my expectations are high. I'd go back but for the price, I've had better. Staff was friendly! and vibe is good. Did not have drinks.
